Fantastic experience: Just had an amazing day flying to Kakadu with Zac. This was a once in a lifetime experience that did not disappoint. Absolutely loved the flight out, the yellow water cruise (thanks Gecko and Coda), yummy lunch at Cooinda … despite the heat it was all a fantastic day/experience.

Fantastic experience: Last weekend we did the helicopter ride with Kakadu air and it was spectacular. There is no other way to see the true hidden beauty of the Kakadu national park and I would 100% recommend their tours to anyone. The service was exceptional and very friendly. Captain shared a lot of knowledge along the ride on the fauna, animals which made it even so much more worth. This is one of the best things I have done in my life! And a Must do in your next Kakadu visit. Cheers!

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Kakadu in a day tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an experience !!! STUNNING FROM START TO FINISH. Jaw dropping views,as far as the eye could see, very informative commentary through out the day. Cooinda Lodge, an oasis of food and beverage delights catering to all dietary needs/requirements. Yellow River Cruise, truly a stunning natural oasis. I highly recommend this 1 day stunning experience to everybody who has a day spare 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: We did the 30 minute tour from Cooinda and could not fault it. Our pilot, Liam, was professional and informative and helped make our experience so enjoyable. An affordable option for seeing more of Kakadu National Park.

Negative experience: Day trip from Darwin to Kakadu was spoilt by a four hour delay in taking off due to Exercise Pitch Black. We spent two hours waiting in the office, followed by another two hours waiting in the plane on the tarmac. By this stage, I would have preferred the activity be cancelled and rescheduled, or a refund offered. Lunch at the Bistro was not what I expected. Rather than ordering from the menu, we were given a bag with a wrap and snacks in it. There was a further delay upon return where we circled Darwin for 30 minutes before we could land. Although the pilot did a great job, I strongly recommend avoiding this activity during Exercise Pitch Black as it was not a pleasant experience at all.

Fantastic experience: A really wonderful day with Ivan, our pilot and guide - excellent scenic flight from Darwin to Cooinda, time on land and on water in the area, then return flight to Darwin. Ivan shared much knowledge and looked after us so very well! Kevin of Yellow Water Cruises did the same during our time on the water. Lunch at Cooinda Lodge was perfect and displays in the Warradjan Cultural Centre very informative. For us, a perfect introduction to Kakadu - such a great perspective from the air; got to see and learn so much in a short period of time. A very special day! Thank you, all!

Fantastic experience: Day trip to Kakadu...Couldn't fault it....except maybe the salad with my Barra lunch...it said papaya salad(which i was really looking forward to) but was just a regular garden salad....Otherwise Awesome day!...Thanks guys

Negative experience: When we rang to enquire on Thursday 1st December to ask the difference between the full hour and half hour flight, your office told us the full hour one fly over water falls. Based on the information we turned up at the airport Friday morning and paid for the full hour flight. The flight finished without waterfalls per itineraries. The pilot told us not fly over waterfalls as the weather too dry, no water flowing. We went to office and spoke to Crystal, the female office in the office, to question why. She said will lodge complaints for us. Someone will call us soon. Awaiting six hours, no one calls, with our tighten schedule, I called, the female office, saying she is one of the four directors, apologized the pilot not covering the waterfalls schedule, and insisted saying the flying times is 59minutes. She accused me being rude, refused to refund the difference $100per head and asked if I want I can go back to fly for extra minute. This business is is not honor per advertised. The officer is rude to make customer angry then complaint customer yelling. I expect $200 refund from this business in a week or I'll file a claim from NSW fair trading!

Fantastic experience: Excellent and informative flight with Declan. This is the best way to see the park and appreciate the beauty and splendour.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I entered the building, the service and friendly staff were fantastic. Myles the pilot was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable about the area. The little oasis in the middle of nowhere was a delight!! Great food was great too! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Seeing Kakadu from the air was amazing. Perfect perspective on this huge landscape. Yellow Waters cruise was beautiful with lots of birdlife. Expanses of water lilies and a few shy crocodiles. Kakadu Air were friendly and helped make my tour happen in spite of date and time changes to my cruise itinerary.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional! A very professional, friendly experience - our pilot Myles made it great with such a smooth, enjoyable flight over some of best scenery of the Top End. The sheer expanse of the area can only be captured from the air, and the aircraft itself has clean, comfortable leather seats and clean windows. Highly recommend for locals and visitors to the area

Fantastic experience: This trip was truefully amazing. Steve (Pilot) was sensational all day. He was able to provide great commentry and local knowledge throughout the tour. The Yellow River cruise was also great. The wildlife, habitat & cultural incites were first rate. Overall the scenery experienced from the air & ground is truely spectacular and the images will last my life time. Although the day is somewhat expensive it is worth every cent.

Positive experience: Arrived very excited to what we thought was our helicopter flight. We were told this was a fixed wing flight and that it had happened a few times that day and was an ongoing issue with people thinking they were booking a helicopter. Not sure where we went wrong. The pilot was nice, young, professional. We had done a few flights whilst travelling aus, this was probably the most underwhelming. Glad we did it, would never drive 3 hrs to do it again.

Fantastic experience: What a professional team of people, we flew to Cooinda in Kakadu in a 6 seater Cessna, Cameron our pilot, was so knowledgeable about the area, pointing out sites of interest, couldn't recommend them any higher, don't go bus, fly with these guys. Loved it so much we did the Katherine flight with Ben today, these guys know their stuff, another great day, thanks Ben.

Fantastic experience: Originally booked for 30mins but on the day requested the possibility of changing to 60mins. Very friendly & accommodating staff who approved our request without complaint. We were grateful and extremely happy and had a fantastic flight with Russell. So glad we ignored the Kakadon’t tales. ‘Kakado by air’ i say without a doubt. Informative trip with spectacular views worth every dollar. Thank-you Kakadu Air.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic day trip from Darwin to Kakadu National Park taking in Yellow River cruise and lunch. Our Pilot James made our day extra special. James was very informative pointing out sights and animal sightings on our 90 min flight along with some history and information about the park - very interesting. Yellow River cruise was fantasic - we had many sightings of crocs getting very close up. Huge amount of various birds, water buffalo, wild pigs, wallaby were seen. Excellent day.

Fantastic experience: What a couple of legends our Pilot Ernest and Co-pilot Lachie were, taking us on our flight and scenic adventure over Kakadu and the Falls… informative, friendly, plenty of photo opportunities and a good look at the attractions from both sides so you didn’t miss the scenery or beauty …. Fantastic experience: Kakadu in a Day - What a great experience! We had Daryl (and James) as our pilot(s); both were very entertaining and and Daryl was outstanding on both flights. Even the lunch at Cooinda couldn't be faulted (although you better be hungry if you think you'll finish it). The whole day was a pleasure from start to finish. Thanks very much guys. We'll see you next time for the Katherine tour.

Fantastic experience: My husband & I did the Kakadu Air Services trip today over the Kakadu National Park, landed in Cooinda, visited the Aboriginal Centre & then did the Yellow Waters cruise. David was our pilot who we appreciated very much. He was friendly, very informative, funny, professional & showed great attention to detail. I would highly recommend a scenic flight with Kakadu Air & would hope that David will be your pilot to make ur day a sensational memory.

Fantastic experience: Breathtaking and fantastic sights of the vast ancient sandstone plateaus and plains of Arnhem Land. Our tour package includes a half hour scenic flight which doesn't cover JimJim and twin falls but our pilot Gamal took the extra mile and flew over Magela falls which is really stunning. And he was really helpful and friendly on air and above ground. Truly a worthwhile experience of Kakadu for me and my family

Fantastic experience: My husband and I booked the Kakadu and Ubirr Wet Season tour with Kakadu Air. We were impressed by the competence and friendliness of our pilot Peter and the seamless transfers that allowed us to fit so much into the day. The tour was great value and is certainly the most comfortable way to visit Kakadu in the wet season and get a birds eye view of the thundering waterfalls and the gleaming wetlands.

Fantastic experience: Thanks for an amazing flight Dave and Peter very informative and care for our comfort. Chose this option rather than long bus ride. Wet season waterfalls and wetlands can only be fully appreciated by air.

Fantastic experience: Worth every penny. It was an incredible way to see Kakadu especially in the wet season when many of the attractions are closed by road. It offers such a unique view and the commentary from our Pilot Mark was really interesting. We did the 60 min tour which I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: There was no flight on that day, i booked the flight on my own (had to pay a bit extra) but wow was it worth it, the low level flight to Kakadu is next level. The perspective you get from the air is amazing. Nice twin engine aircraft and a great pilot. Loved it!!!

Fantastic experience: Had the best taster of kakadu national park on the one day flight tour and cruise. Much better to fly there than taking a long 13 hours on other driving tours. Our pilot Dave was professional and friendly. He was flexible to our needs and made the trip more enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Safe, professional and excellent value for money. We flew to Kakadu from Darwin today with Dave and I I would rate this experience 5 stars PLUS! Excellent commentary and knowledge on the flight with safety the highest priority! A great package including lunch, yellow water boat cruise, swim and/or indigenous cultural experience. Plus, cold towels to cool us down in the flight home.
