Negative experience: Call centre agent was rude and dismissive, put me on hold when I was trying to explain a booking issue without any prior notice or warning. Did not resolve my issue or give any sound advice on how to resolve this issue as she was not listening to customers at all. Incompetent.

Negative experience: First consultation was great, but I suspect only because payment was made and commission was earned...cha ching. Service and communication all but ceased from that point. Difficulties in contacting the agent were significant; constant Out of Office email responses, delay of 1-2 weeks sometimes with replying to emails and not to mention the numerous calls to the office trying to follow up with little effort to actually call back. One of my internal flights was changed 6 times by the airline, I had to email the agent multiple times for an updated itinerary. Oh and who could forget the lack of e-ticket that wasn't provided, or the FC travel envelope that I'd always been given when booking previously in other stores. Service was sub-par! I emailed again 8 days before my flight back to Australia to ask about an upgrade and still haven't received any response not to my enquiry nor to apologise for the delay and lack of professionalism in not providing a response, its been over 2 weeks. To any potential customers reading this, take your money elsewhere, and Tyson do better mate; reputation and word of mouth is key! Good luck!

Negative experience: After signing a Europe-return plan with a staff member, he pretty quickly became unavailable despite the statement he made that "i will continually support you. I am your contact person for any issues". I have never dealt with any staff in FC like this in the last 20 years in other FCs in different suburbs. Will never come here again.

Negative experience: Probably the worst possible experience I have ever had dealing with a flight planner. The person I was dealing with made me feel strange and belittled. I have travelled to over 30 countries and have dealt with several planners - this was BY FAR the worst possible experience I had. I would not recommend anyone face the same while dealing with them. They don't know what they are doing, and actually make the customer feel bad due to their ignorance of the plans.

Fantastic experience: Recently booked my first trip to Bali through Cassidy and his team. He made the process simple, quick, got me a great price, and was extremely knowledgable about where and when to stay in Bali. Also gave me some great tips for experiencing the local food and culture. In the past I had generally booked my own travel, but wouldnt hesistate in returning to Flight Centre as the pricing I was comparing with online, wasnt all that it cracked up to be. Easily 5 stars.

Negative experience: I booked a flight to go to Bali/Europe/Dubai. On my way back one week earlier I asked if I could change my flight and could be given prices differences etc… never got an answer back from my agent I sent multiples emails. Then when I land in Dubai I called flight centre customer service to change the flight they try to charge me 700 dollars while online I could see it was another flight for 170 dollars I told them that then the agent lied to me saying I could not change with emirates directly just with them which it wasn’t true as I end up changing my flight online for just 170 instead of 700! Booking with flight centre was a terrible idea you pay more than online and you don’t get any support while travelling, useless service! Never again!

I appreciate this is frustrating to see lower fares not available for you to apply your credit to, and is because the these fares are a lower value ticket, but again, the airline rules which Flight Centre is bound by specify that a credit is to be used for an equal or higher value.

Negative experience: Initially I left a 5 star review due to the exceptional service I received from Lisa in booking my holiday which still stands, however on trying to contact you to extend my holiday when no consultant answered the phone after I left 2 messages also no contact to date. Fantastic experience: Cannot thank the team (Tyson, Emily, Ana) for helping me out today and solving issues caused by another store. I walked in after an awful experience at flight centre Marion and expressed my concern over an upcoming trip. The team worked together to solve some issues with my booking (booking a ferry that should have already been confirmed /adding baggage which I was previously told couldn’t do) and really made me feel like a valued customer. They were compassionate and caring and reassured me that they would sort everything out. Take my hats off to the team for being patient with me and talking me through the errors that were made. Fantastic experience: Imogen and the team at flight centre rundle mall were incredible when assisting to find the best flights for my trip to Colombia! Due to the distance, visa possibilities and various flight paths, finding the best tickets to Cali Colombia from Adelaide is not an easy task. Not only did the team find a reasonable price, but they were also able to add value to the holiday by finding a stop over in an incredible location to break up the long journey. Imogen was professional, patient, thorough and communicated very clearly. She should be commended on her ability to work with her team to deliver the best product possible for the customers needs. Imogen was also able to source all this information during our meeting, which lead to sale of the tickets there and then. Negative experience: Worst service ever, arrived at Airport to check in no tickets contacted the store they were very rude and hung up. All this happened after the flights were more expensive than the website after my $300 credit was used. If it wasn't for the virgin staff at the airport would be still there.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with Kate Martinez at Rundle Mall Flight Centre. Long story short, she refused to process my booking unless I bought an OPTIONAL extra (the $99 captains package). She even stated the it was in the terms and conditions that I had to purchase (I.e., she claimed it was COMPULSORY - NOT OPTIONAL). This is a lie, and clearly she cared more about getting additional commission than providing a positive customer experience. I even advised I would settle for the $49 captains package, but she reiterated that they would not proceed with the booking unless I purchased the $99 package. I phoned Flight centre in Mt Barker and they happily processed the booking without the captains package. It was easy as pie! Thus, I feel that there is a toxic culture within Flight centre rundle mall whereby some sales reps are happy to lie to customers and advise that optional extras are compulsory with bookings, for their own personal gain. This is appauling business. I talked to the manager at Rundle Mall after booking with a different store. He was understanding, and apologetic. He was FANTASTIC at his job, and I would deffinetley book through him in the future! He is the only reason this is a 2 star review, and not a 1 star. As for Kate - I would not recommend ANYONE to book a flight through her unless you want to be ripped off and lied too.

Negative experience: Went in to get a quote for an upcoming trip. A staff member by the name of Casey served me, she started off by greeting with an extreme attitude to the point where I felt uncomfortable. Casey was extremely rude unhelpful, rolled her eyes countless times , disrespectful and probably the worst customer service I’ve ever received. Due to this horrible experience I will never be attending flight centre again and I’m truly disgusted with the service I was provided with.

Negative experience: I've read many bad reviews here, but I still went there. After waiting around 15 minutes to be attended, we had a really uncomfortable experience where the attendant wasn't willing to spend 1h planning our round the world tickets. The must be selling very to afford losing clients that easy. I'm not going back.

Negative experience: I've been trying to use a flight credit booked through flight centre. I called their online contact who then told me to call my nearest store which was Rundle Mall. Who told me my original ID was not for their store and I needed to call the online centre. Who then directed me to a flight centre in Brisbane. Who told me that they only do international flights and give me a new booking ID and told me to call any store and they would be able to use this different booking ID to make my booking. I called Rundle back since they were my closest store and she blatantly refused to even try the different booking number. She just outright refused to help even though I explained that this was a different booking ID Update: Flight Centre in Burnside booked my flight using my credit after I explained the whole situation. So it is just Rundle Mall that has terrible customer service

Your service was so poor that it made us realise that we did not want to go through a travel agent at all and so we have since booked direct ourselves in about the same amount of time it took for us to sit in your office and be told nothing of any use! Negative experience: Worst experience I have with them anywhere in Australia, I booked my flights with them, unfortunately I fallen sick and requested to change my tickets, my travel consultant is so busy, she did not recommend anything. Then I call Emergency Global assistant, they said if you didn’t departure, your returning tickets has been automatically cancelled, but my travelling agent said you have to pay $390 each of tickets to cancel them? Also, I booked an appointment with them and she was not there, I wait for her more than half an hour? I won’t recommend them, they are so rude, unprofessional and don’t listen to you enquiries at all.

I have a range of health problems, but they have produced several holiday packages which really fit my interest in travel and poor health. also, if things go wrong, like a specific activity gets suddenly cancelled, a likely occurrence in these covid19 days, they are at the end of the phone to sort the problem out. Negative experience: Honestly one of the most frustrating and highly inconvenient experiences of my life booking flights through Flight Centre Adelaide CBD. Initially, the lady was helpful, cheery and seemed fine. When I asked about the costs per flight (as I had checked them before leaving home that evening) she claimed she could not see per flight costs, only the total of a trip. I thought it was odd, kept going and booked it. Before leaving home the flights through Virgin for a domestic flight to a capital city and back were going to cost me $330.00 including CC charges. I walked out, having used a $100 gift card, being charged $403.00 (- the $100 gift card brought the total to $303.00) A few days later I was curious and asked someone I know in upper management of another company affiliated with Flight Centre, who advised, in fact, Flight Centre workers CAN see the flight prices per flight. In addition, when I wanted to change my flights I couldn't do it directly through the airline, as they advised because I booked it through an aggregator, I HAD to go back to them. I was not aware of this, and it was not made clear to me at any time during my booking 'experience' that this was the only way to change the flights. When I tried to change my flights, I ended up having to pay an airline change of booking fee (fair enough), a difference in fair (which I am not sure of the specific costs, again because "flight centre workers cant see the per-flight cost") and then a flight centre fee. They waived their fee after I raised my concerns with the manager which was a fair outcome. Now I've just gone to check in and my reserved seat was not carried over to the changed booking, and I never received any updated flight information on any of the flights I changed from a different Flight Centre worker. Not only that, but the itinerary sent to me initially does not display whether or not the class is ECONOMYX which I booked one of. Honestly never using Flight Centre ever again after this experience. A super simple 5 click booking that I could have done at home has turned into a massive hassle to do anything, and the itinerary is overly simplified to a point that it doesn't show me correct booking information
