Fantastic experience: Thor Travel, and specifically Sandra, have always provided the utmost care, attention and help to all my needs. I first went to Thor Travel for an information evening in 2015 for a pending trip to South America. I have recently returned from a luxurious holiday overseas and whatever one is looking for, Sandra has found it for me. The service is exemplary. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: In my 20 years of buying annual international flights with Thor Travel, no other flight agency or online ticket purchase compares to their pre-sales, post-sales, and mid-trip service. Thor know all the right rules, paperwork, forms, and clearances you need to travel safely and efficiently. Once, my friend bought an online ticket to travel with me (while I travelled through Thor) and visa restrictions changed. Thank God Sandra sent me an email and was available by phone to sort out the necessary paperwork! Next time, my friend booked through Thor! Also, in cases of EMERGENCY, you will wish you booked with an agency like Thor, because they are always ready to go above and beyond to help you wherever you are. Also, when you call them, a human picks up the phone. I always price check with other flight agencies and Thor's transits and flight options are always the best that are available. Last year, my partner went to a different travel agency "because it was closer". They gave him a 25-hour stopover in Perth by accident!! When I went to price check with Thor Travel, Sandra picked up on this error immediately and found a cheaper AND more comfortable flight option WITH shorter transits! Now, my partner always buys through Thor Travel too. Also, many years ago when my friend suddenly passed away, Tashi stayed in the office until after hours just to get EMERGENCY flights home to be with the family. I'll never forget this and I've never found this kind of service elsewhere. Buying directly online simply does not give you this kind of service and assurance. If you are travelling, GO WITH THOR TRAVEL.

Fantastic experience: The team at Thor Travel has a wealth of travel experience, and Sandra has been extremely generous with her time and knowledge. She’s helped us plan and book several tours across Europe, Central America and Asia over the years, and it has always been a seamless and easy experience allowing us to save time and give us peace of mind. As someone who has travelled extensively herself, Sandra is always willing to share tips and insightful information on various destinations and her passion for travel shines through very clearly. Negative experience: Awful service. Sandra seemed nice at first and gave a little advice, but shortly after she just kept saying "I'm busy with other customers. I must ask you to leave. Go home do research by yourself and send me an email about what you want to do, and book your tours via me so that I can earn money." Ok sounds like I'm not a customer but a tool for you to make money? Why would I need a travel agency when the travel agency doesn't want to spare a little time to make a satisfying travel plan but ask me to make my plan by myself? If you really don't have time, just refuse to serve in the first place. Sorry, couldn't let bad service win.
