Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with Bicton Travel got a number of years and have found the consultants, especially Nadia, to be extremely professional in all aspects of their work. Nothing is too much trouble and their service and attention to detail is excellent.
Fantastic experience: Phil, David Byron and the team are the real deal, ive been using this mob for over 10 years for luxury cruises, flights and everything in between. They get the job done quick, no BS and you get to talk to someone switched on every time compared to some travel muppet shows. My go to every time. Great job.

Negative experience: Enquired about a cruise today and was told that I need to pay a $55 fee to be a new customer of theirs before they will even look at my travel request. Terrible business model!!

Negative experience: Phoned for advice re. cruise credits and was told I would be contacted by phone within the next 24 - 48 hours by some one who could help. Never heard back.
Fantastic experience: Bicton Travel has helped research and book our vacations for quite a few years now. We’ve booked through them for flights, cruises and hotels both domestically and overseas. We are particularly happy with team leader Jasmine Kyle who has personally handled all of our vacations. She is extremely helpful in the way she shares her travel knowledge and carries out research to find just what you want from your trip at the best price. Unfortunately this year, due to present travel restrictions we have had to cancel booked vacations. Jasmine has been really good in providing information required by airlines and our insurers in order for us to successfully claim refunds, even communicating directly with the insurance company on our behalf to provide all costs and airline policies as they required. When it’s once again safe to travel, we’ll be back to Bicton Travel.

The unfortunate cancellation phase of our trip was handled well, we were kept informed of the process and refund was administered in a timely manner. Fantastic experience: This was my first time using Bicton travel, in the past I had used another well known travel agent. First of all the price for my airfares was cheaper than what had been quoted by the other agent. Jen guided me through the process of booking flights and transfers. So patient and helpful. Then Covid hit and I rebooked with the help of Matt- once again patient and helpful in the whole process. then I decided to cancel the whole trip after all this hard work by Bicton travel agents. Kind and helpful keeping me informed every step of the way explaining when I had received conflicting advice from my colleague. Team are fantastic and if travel is in my future I will definitely be using Bicton Travel . Thank you to all, i know this must be a very difficult time for you all

Your team has made a supreme effort in obtaining refunds and credit vouchers, where possible. Bicton Travel had booked a ‘complex’ and amazing itinerary for us this year; visiting various countries, involving different modes of transport, accommodation and tour operators. I feel it is a testament to their business ethos that they have continued to provide a friendly and responsive service to us. We are most appreciative of Matt and Martina’s efforts. Negative experience: My mother and friend's trip let down due to failure of the agent to let them know that they required visas for entering Russia. Surely this is a basic thing to know for a Senior Consultant? Another failure of communication occurred with the collapse of Bentours and no effort to reassure them that their bookings were secure, leading them to re-pay for 3 nights accommodation. Overall, not an impressive service by any means.

Negative experience: Cruisefinder.com.au is the online division of Bicton Travel. I booked a cruise through cruisefinder.com.au. The cruise has been cancelled because of COVID 19. The cruise liner, Carnivale, are returning all deposits in full. However, cruisefinder.com.au are taking a 30% booking fee. In future, I will book all trips direct with the cruise liner and by pass travel agents including crusiefinder.com.au.
Dear Lorraine….you chose to cancel your booking whilst the cruise was still operational. Per our terms and conditions, the cancellation fee was $150 per person. As a gesture of goodwill, we reduced this to $25 per person.Subsequently, Carnival did cancel the cruise, however, the cancellation policy at the time your booking was cancelled applies.
Negative experience: Gave us the wrong monetary advice about currency to use on the cruise.Got my personal details wrong.

Positive experience: Buyer beware! While it is said (and fairly so) that one should make their own careful decisions based on all the facts (including the fine print), when you go to professional organisations for advice and help,you should get it! My experience with Bicton Travel was somewhat the oposite full of lack of clarity and contradicting information only made clear after deposits were made. Then not clear enough! The advertising material and marketig hand outs contradicted each other and when questioned I was offered even more confusing contradictory advice. The ebnvironment in the office is not conducive to quality customer service or communication and when queried all I got was the T's & C's poked in my face. Blew 50% of my deposit, but it was a valuable lesson learned...will not be bitten again.
