Negative experience: I paid to be a Not Just Travel partner. Shortly after, I came into some financial issues. This meant I didn’t have access to my account as I could not pay the admin fee. The only booking I had made was being refunded because the flights were fully booked. However, as I no longer had access I could not process it. After contacting NJT, nobody would help. A few months later I get an Invoice saying I need to pay £2870 for the admin fees I didn’t pay. This was okay for me as I had started a new job and could pay. When talking to one of staff she suggested I could take the refund I was owed (£1917) off of the total debt owed. She said she would look into it and I received a receipt from the office. When I asked her what this meant, she never replied. Even after multiple emails. Then a few months later I received a reminder that I need to pay £2870. The next person I dealt with once again said she would help and look into it and then started ignoring my emails. Yesterday I received a letter suggesting I have 7 days to respond or they will start proceedings. However, the letter was sent on the 29th of December and I received it on the 4th of January. It has given me one day to try and contact someone. I emailed the email on the letter with all the information. The lady who responded said she could only help with the refund side not the debt. She said someone would contact me but nobody has. I also have called the number on the letter 3 times and was left on hold. Everyone is “too busy”. Although I have made contact, I do not believe they won’t start proceedings. It seems the team at Not Just Travel do not communicate with each other. I am really upset on how this was handled. Being ignored when I have suggested I can start paying the money and just want some conformation. This has taken up 10 months of my life. I am worried if I start paying, they will not take the money off of the total. I was then given the wrong email for the person who sent me the letter. I feel they are messing me about and taking advantage of how young I am and that I do not have experience handling situations like this. If I am not contacted in the next 24 hours I will be filing a complaint.
Fantastic experience: Sam booked our entire trip to Africa and she was amazing. She was available at a drop of a hat and made everything go like clockwork. I’d highly recommend not just travel, and Sam Cummings in particular. 10/10 from us.

Negative experience: BOOKED ONCE WILL NEVER USE THESE AGAIN AND I RECOMMEND PEOPLE LOOKING ELSEWHERE NOT TO USE NOT JUST TRAVEL. I book a family holiday with not just travel I couldn't go due to visa reasons to which I queried before booking and the agent said it would be ok. This was a booking for six people when I queried could I get a refund I was told no I asked for an exchange I was told no I ask for a change of name again told no. Quick enough taking money but no help in difficulties

Negative experience: It's not clear who to contact. You book through one person however there's so many middle people involved, you don't know who to contact. I couldn't get hold of her during the trip and there isn't a contact locally. They didn't arrange beds for the 2 kids so the kids didn't have anywhere to sleep in the Phoenix hotel. We paid a lot of money for the kids £2600 per child to be exact for them not to have a bed!? For the first 2 tours she told us the collection time from the hotel but for the rest we didn't know. Given we were travelling around a lot, this was extremely important. They allowed for 3 hours for a collection from the hotel to an airport but as it was an internal flight they only needed 2 hours. When I tried to change it they said they couldn't however I called and they changed it easily. They are not willing to support you whilst on your holiday. You are on your own. When we arrived one of the tours wasn't booked- kitamani lake tour. This is a huge oversight. Luckily they were able to change it however we had to move our plans around On the 29th the tour guide was an hour late. They were meant to arrive at 9am, at 9.20 we were told they were coming at 10? This is a waste of our time rushing and waiting around for them. On the 29th the tour was very poor - we missed out on 2 key aspects of our tour because we were waiting around for over 2 hours for one part of the tour. This Is unacceptable. We didn't do the soap carving or the cooking lesson which was important as my mum is a chef. The kintamani lake tour is poorly organised. They just take you to shops and don't explain anything. They take you to a rubbish restaurant when you get to the volcano - the food was really poor. It looks like it was a cheap place. When i arrived at Fairmount they didn't have the kids beds arranged again. Fairmount said that there would be additional charges and I had to again sort this out myself. The day before we were to go on a tour they said that we couldn't go on it. At the last minute i had to arrange for a replacement tour which wasn't what we expected. On the boat ride they don't tell you to bring towels also they didn't have a vegetarian meal arranged for the vegetarian in our group. This is a huge oversight as she couldn't eat anything on the tour. Overall dissaponited.

I appreciate this must be very frustrating.Although our travel consultants provide incredible 5-star experiences for customers across a whole host of destinations, Not Just Travel is a travel agency in which people leave reviews about their booking experience. The ability to control every aspect of the holiday including a boat trip not telling you to bring towels is not something a personal travel consultant can always control or guarantee.As this review was posted back in 2018 I cannot see which travel consultant you were dealing with at the time otherwise we would look into this further.Thanks again,Rebecca
Negative experience: I paid a fee to be a Not Just Travel 'partner'. When my first potential customer tried to book flights via my special link they weren't available. When he contacted Not Just Travel directly they suddenly found him the flights. I missed out on commission. The company refuses to respond when I ask how this happened. DO NOT USE! (Gave 1 star as no option to give ZERO)
