Fantastic experience: Booked a 2 week holiday to California from Lorraine.I usually go down the internet route but decided to give Barters a go as they were 7 of us and didn't fancy the logistics.Anyway got a great deal and excellent service.Not one single problem and great hotels to boot.Anyway so good were Barters that I now have booked a cruise with them for my sons honeymoon in the knowledge that everything will be perfect.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Barter Travel for quite some time. In the early days Louise Cronin went above and beyond the call of duty when she helped me to organise the mass transportation of students from Mercy Heights , Skibbereen on school trips. Since my son and his family moved to Australia, Sandra, Lorraine and Niamh have been incredibly helpful in reuniting us. Two years ago I travelled alone to Tasmania and had a totally trouble free journey. This year we were more ambitious and my son-in law, my 18 month old grandson and my pregnant daughter made the long trip to Darwin. Once again it was perfectly organised. When Enda had to return early because of his father's illness everyone was so kind and sensitive. His return journey was arranged in a matter of hours with the minimum of fuss and expense. Imagine our joy when we discovered that Barters had booked bulkhead seats for us, not only on the long Dubai Perth leg out, but from Brisbane/Dubai AND Dubai/Dublin on the way home. Our Australian family are travelling to Ireland next summer and I hope that Barters will work their magic once again. Thank you, Gene Griffin.

Fantastic experience: I recently went through J Barter to book a group of 26 people for a trip to Florence, something I do regularly through art history courses I teach. I had a fantastic experience dealing with J Barter. Jennifer, the agent I dealt with, was wonderful. In what turned out to be an unusually busy time in Florence, she secured perfect accommodation at an excellent price. Most of the group wished to make individual travel arrangements and Jennifer was most willing to cater for 26 different sets of flights. The hotels Jennifer chose were right in the centre, a crucial feature given how much walking we do on these trips. I have had nothing but excellent feedback from all in my group on the hotel and the booking process. For me, having run many of these trips through other agents, J Barter provided the best service I have ever experienced. They are warm, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional and I could not recommend them highly enough. A special thank you to Jennifer for making the whole process seamless. I will be using Barter exclusively from now on!
