Negative experience: I don’t want to give this any stars, but I have to put something. I am very disappointed with my stay. My original reservation had me at good location. But when I arrived in town, my hotel stay was changed to a location that has never been on my radar when I travel. I called monster group three times the day of my check in. And was told that I had to call the vacation company. After I called them the next day, because it was too late to call that same day, I was told that I had to call back monster group. After calling monster group back, (4th call), I was told that all of their hotel rooms were booked and there was nothing that could be done. I understood things happen, but if you need to change because that current location is full at least book at another location that is computable to the original location. I got book at a location that was beneath my standard and not computable to what I thought I was getting. Will I use monster vacation again, no thanks. Nor will I recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience getting help from customer service rep, Joseph Patterson. He completed my request promptly and emailed me right away. The fix he worked on went through! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I just made my first reservation with Monster RG and it was so easy! Taylor Wells assisted me in booking the perfect girls trip getaway to the Tahiti Village Resort in Las Vegas. He searched for the best deals and even got me an extra day!! The entire process was quick and easy. I'm really looking forward to this trip!

Fantastic experience: Wanda Waterman was great gave good ideas and made me feel so comfortable and secure with my online booking. I can't wait to take my trip sure hope the Virgin islands bc apart of the options available but even if not Wanda help me with secondary options so I can celebrate my birthday somewhere warm and happy.

Negative experience: So far just big let down. First they change our presentation time to the day were leaving then they charge to get into little water park after I was told passes would be included in package. For this I would recommend Wolf Lodge or Kalahari. Its more expensive but atleast you get what you pay for. Will not be using this package even though I have five more stays. I will cut my losses now.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Monster Reservations Group. I recommend that you all use them when planning your next vacation no matter as to where you are going. Fantastic experience: I was very pleased to talk today with Jeff Dooley of Monster Reservations. He walked me through the process of booking a two bedroom condo in Myrtle Beach for three nights/four days. At all times during our conversation, Jeff was very polite, and well-versed on his subject matter. Not once did he try to “over-power me”. Jeff was very knowledgeable about the Myrtle Beach area, and agreed that the resort that he helped me select would be a perfect match for me. I chose five stars for Jeff Dooley’s interview with me, and look forward to my stay in Myrtle Beach.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. This is a fraud. You can buy packages with them, but they never have any openings. They continue to try to sell you extra vacations. If you cannot book anything and challenge them that they never have any properties open, they are alright with hanging up on you. Tyreek is their online review public relations man. He cannot help you. He knows nothing, Stay away! Run! Do not fall into this trap. They get your money and then never deliver!

Fantastic experience: Lyndsey had a lot of patience. My bank card kept sending out a fraud alert every time she ran my card. I called my fraud alert number to let them know that I was trying to reserve a booking through Monster Reservations. They said everything was fine so we tried running card again. To our dismay it still didn't work. So I three way called my banks fraud alert line and we all three figured it out. I was at the point of saying forget it when Lyndsey made one last attempt with fraud alert on the line and the charge finally went through. So I'm very happy with the patience and understanding of your reservation specialist. Thankyou once again. Will post another review after I take my trip.

Positive experience: [Update] The company eventually sent the confirmation, but it took three phone calls over a 20-day period. When you f leave a negative review, the owner responds by providing their resolutions email address. The resolution team contacts you, offering to upgrade your stay with an extra day in exchange for updating your negative review and requesting that you include their name in the updated review. Reviews mentioning specific names here seem to indicate that the reviewer originally had a poor experience. In my case, after 11 days without receiving confirmation, I left a negative review. The resolution specialist contacted me, asking for a review update that included their name. Even then, it still took another week to receive the confirmation. They never proactively inform you how long the confirmation process might take unless you follow up multiple times. I recommend that the company improve its processes. First, train employees to set clear expectations about the timeline for booking confirmations. In my case, better communication upfront could have avoided a lot of frustration. Second, stop charging for brochures—these should be provided as a courtesy with the booking confirmation, especially since they seemed more like a sales pitch for the company’s services. Lastly, the owner should personally test the booking process to understand the customer experience better.

Fantastic experience: Chris, Where do I start, he answered the call with an exuberant amount of energy. He was diligent in giving details about our pkg. I applaud his CS, I worked in CS when I was part of the workforce and know it can be very stressful(irate customers etc.) and being able to be pleasant. He showed concern and continued a conversation as he confirmed and searched for my pkg details. Chris is a great assets to your company , he should be considered in the top 5 recipients for the Steak Dinner for 2, and any other Kudos available. Happy Holidays, and God Bless

Fantastic experience: Anna Strait showed superb customer service. She answered all my questions thoroughly. Most of all she was very personable and friendly.

Fantastic experience: For my upcoming trip, I found myself extremely confused and unsure about several details. Thankfully, Athan A. was an absolute lifesaver. He was incredibly understanding and went above and beyond to help me make sense of everything. His patience and dedication to ensuring that I was satisfied truly stood out. Unlike the girl I had spoken to earlier, who offered no real assistance, Athan's approach was thoughtful and effective. His efforts to make me feel comfortable and informed were exceptional, and I genuinely believe he deserves a raise. It's rare to find someone as capable and customer-oriented as him, and he made my experience much more pleasant.

Negative experience: I was scammed by a Monster sales team into purchasing a $1148 vacation package. They lied to me about how may sales pitches I would have to do, that I would be provided all of the details of my purchase via text and email which I was only able to get from them after multiple phone calls and email requests to cancel. Now I don’t trust them, once I finally got the details it revealed yet another lie. Finally I get to speak to a manager and he talked over me, accuses me of not being willing to work with him, tries to convince me I wasn’t scammed and lied to. I discovered my mistake and attempted to cancel and get a refund before 24 hours had even passed. I was clear on that phone call about my expectations and was told they would be met. They were not and I don’t do business with folks I can’t trust. After multiple bad reviews detailing what had happened and a complaint with the BBB Monster had a manager call me who did refund the purchase. Too bad it took so much time and effort on my part to get it done.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had a great time last week this time we were chilling in the sun. Loved Mexico.

Negative experience: I'd give a 0 stars if I could! I bought a package 5 years ago and only have been able to use 1 so far. Every time we try to book they do not have availability at the location we requested....even when I call 90 days prior which is what they told me to do. I'm not sure how they have so many "happy" customers. Do the customers choose whatever is available? Have complete freedom to change dates? We've tried booking Tampa, Destin and Wisconsin Dells over the past few years. The locations listed online are never available. I've only been offered one alternative place that was going to cost me nearly $1,000 in fees to stay at. Don't waste your money. What a headache and rip off

Negative experience: DO NOT TRUST THIS SO CALLED “company” - they offer the worst customer service, over promising and under delivering. If there was one experience I would account for in my lifetime as the worst account of customer service, it would be with monster. My parents purchased vacations for my family and I, yet are forced to attend presentations to enjoy a family vacation. They make you pay to activate said vacations and can never accomodate a family of 5. They wrote off my 1-year-old; said they were accounted for but then said vacations of 5 could not be accommodated. Truly a disappointment with every interaction. We rather pay out of pocket than trust this company to reserve memories on our behalf. Save yourself the headache, use professionals.

Negative experience: Im not having a good experience with the customer service right now. Every agent knowledge is different. One agent was encouraging me to buy my flight ticket and another one to not do so. My booking was cancel because I from Quebec Canada. That what the agent told me at first and when I complain she try to back her talk. How come they didn’t know that info before requesting a place to that resort. I pay everything they told me to be disappointed at the end. This year was very difficult for me . All my hope are gone now. I will never trust them again and can’t refer nobody to them. Regardless I’m too sad to be angry at anybody. I’m upset with myself for trusting their process. I manage with my job and my schedule to be able to travel with my big brother. He had to request vacation to his job as well. and we can’t. Imagine how horrible it is and all the impact on our personal life. This is unacceptable . This agency can’t move my reservation to another destination because again their system has issues. What kind of not professionalism is that? Such a waist of energy and money and time and investment and hope. Really broke from that experience. I’ve never travel to a sun destination. I’m hurt for real.

Fantastic experience: I was in a accident in November and had to cancel My trip. I was unable to reschedule because the service representative was admitt to not help me. So I was very upset and disappointed. I received a call from Monster tonight and spoke to Dexter Wright who listen and went out of his way to resolve the issue , straighten out the fees and reschedule My trip. Fantastic experience: Brian Russell Solve my problem at ease..! Very professional and definitely knows what he’s doing, don’t wanna get into the details. It was a crazy situation. I spoke with three other people prior to Brian, and he was the only ONE who got to the point of the problem and fond the solution !!! I am grateful and satisfied for sure! I don’t know if there is a way to get Brian into your case but you should try to request him.

The price was unbelievable but it’s really true, and we are very happy to save a lots for all kind of activity there: gone to SeaWorld, hanging arround the parks, arround the Pier… After the trip I call the company to say thanks and I talking to Mrs Jodylynne Jordan and she ask me for the review so I agree to rated the trip as the highest level I ever rated. Positive experience: I cancelled a reservation 3 days after I made it and they will not give me a total refund. The reservation was over two months before my check in date (3-1-24). They scammed me on a voice recorded line saying that I agreed to take out insurance to get my deposit back and that they are entitled to the balance. BEWARE!!!!!! Update: I had the good fortune of luckily finding a Representative at MRG (Athan) who looked up the rules for Florida in which I reside. I received a full refund only because there was an office here in Florida and I had 30 days to cancel the reservation. If I lived in another State I would have lost my balance. I learned my lesson of never agreeing to anything on a recorded line in which you are bombarded with questions. Initially, another representative and her manager were more than happy in playing a recording of me agreeing to a contract of taking out insurance. I was contacted by another representative who politely asked that I edit this review after receiving my refund. I told him that I would but I strongly suggest that anyone reading this go to Reddit and read some reviews on MRG before booking a reservation.

Fantastic experience: Diana Welthy is just awesome!!…she’s not pushy, she listens to all my questions and she got a pleasant, friendly voice too. I will definitely book with her again and again for our future travels. My family would love to travel more and Diana is just the perfect answer to all of our travel needs. THANKS SO MUCH DIANA!!

Positive experience: So far so good. I initially was calling to cancel my package due to the lack of info on the website. I was beyond my 30 days but fortunately for this company I spoke with Stacey S., a fantastic agent from Myrtle Beach. The only reason I'm writing this review is because I love it when people love their job and take customer service to the next level. Stacey is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and understands the product she is dealing with. I told her how much I appreciated her help and want her company and coworkers to know that they should look to her as an example of how to keep customers and how to keep them happy. Thank you Stacey!! 3 stars until I actually take a trip but Stacey gets 5

Fantastic experience: I had a small problem after I booked my vacation with some Outrageous fees and taxes for an all inclusive package I had purchased. I got a call from a man name Chris and Jeff at Monster. I'm now going to a different resort and their professionalism is only exemplified by their willingness to go above and beyond. Ask for Chris in the promotion department if you have any issues he is an asset to that organization and deserves a raise. Great experience to say the least

Negative experience: On December 3, 2024. I received an email in the afternoon of the same day. It said that my reservation was canceled. I instantly called monster and proceeded to be get the runaround. From One person to the other for an hour and a half until we finally got Sabrina around 5 o’clock. She was a godsend. She was very helpful and she told me that I could expect a call in the morning On December 4. And that 930 I get a call and spoke to Richard and he to was very helpful and helped me to get our reservations back on track. we especially want to think Sabrina and Richard for all the help that we received through this process.

His expertise and dedication made it easy for me to grasp everything about the package. I can't recommend Monster Group enough for anyone looking to explore stunning vacation destinations. You won’t be disappointed!

Negative experience: Horrible experience. They advertise a hotel stay for 3-5 days, for a total of $39 as long as you attend a timeshare presentation, but it is a lie. After they initially charge you, they call you back and tack on $100’s in extra fees they didn’t advertise, and then after you pay, tell you there’s no guarantee you’ll get booked as you initially requested. So in the end, it is a bit cheaper to book this way, but the hours of hassle and being forced to change flights and other things just isn’t worth the misery and additional costs. I’ve used other travel services like Westin, which were higher in cost, but still way lower than booking yourself, and it was straight forward with zero surprises and no timeshare presentation additional $175 “hostage” fee to make sure you attend. You may wonder how they are highly rated on Google. They give you a $50 gift card if you leave a positive review. They know exactly what they’re doing.

Fantastic experience: I am a new monster group user and I must say my customer service team member Tyler Brooks was extremely helpful. He is very pleasant and professional and made my experience a good one! Hope I get him every time I call in.

Fantastic experience: Lisa Bent’s presentation of the Program was very professional and knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of my questions. If she didn’t have the answer, she verified and provided me with the answer. My knowledge of the program was not clear prior to my call, but once speaking with Lisa it became very clear that this was an opportunity that I didn’t want to pass up. Thank you very much Monster for my experience, but more importantly Mrs. Bent.

Negative experience: Wouldn't even give them a star but have to in order to leave a review. I checked out a package they had on Facebook and decided not to go through with it because I'll have to be taking my pet to the vet. I thought I cancelled it but was still charged. When I called the number online and told them the situation, I was told a refund wouldn't be a problem, but I had to call their customer service department and she gave me the number. I called and when I told them I wanted to cancel the reservation she told me it was non-refundable, which is not what their website said. I asked her if she was really willing to go against their own policy on their website and if so I would be involving my attorney. That's when she issued my refund. You can cancel up to 3 days after they charge you for the reservation. Be careful out there with companies like these, always read their terms and conditions.

Jordan was very thorough and had a great personality. My only issue was I was disappointed in the small number of available properties they have in Myrtle Beach

I wasn't actually sure what my package included. she took the time to explain everything to me and gave me the impression that i was the only one she had to help today, not at all like she was in a rush to get to the next person. i appreciate her listening to me and finishing up with " are there any other questions I can help you with?" Now Dee is a great example of what `customer service is about! Thanks

Fantastic experience: I had two not so great people tonight, but then I got Anna S. Very knowledgeable, savvy, funny. She convinced me not to do something drastic to VRC reservation group because they have wasted a whole lot of my time! I liked Anna a lot though, and I would trust her to book a vacation. She’s not a liar and there are no games. Just facts. I’ve had 2 really excellent Monster reps so far. Holly last night. And Anna tonight. Would recommend.

In addition to being friendly and personable, he was able to answer my question and explain how to proceed with future bookings. I left the conversation feeling more positive about our future bookings than I was when I first called in.

I cannot yet comment on the quality of the resorts, mystery fees, or timeshare presentations. 4 stars only because the initial sales people gave me false information. Very false information. But when I got to Customer Support, Holly introduced me to a whole new world! I’m going to give Monster a chance because of Holly. By far, the most knowledgeable, intelligent, caring, detail oriented, travel person I’ve ever worked with. And I travel a lot! She knows the ins and outs of every maneuver possible to get the best deals and travel to the most remarkable destinations. Work with Holly if you can. You really can’t go wrong. She understands travel on an evolved level that only people with a lifetime of travel experience, like me, can possibly know and understand. Supervisor, Amber, I intended to speak with you directly but the phone was disconnected. I believe Holly is far too gifted to be doing reservations. I could easily see her in an executive position, designing promotions or finding travel incentives to encourage the industry. 4 stars for the overall experience. 5++ Stars for Holly! I’m so impressed! Well done!

Fantastic experience: Alex J. was amazing! He was patient, explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions. I appreciate his consistency in following up with me and his no pressure approach. There was previous misinformation on my package details and difficulty booking my desired destination. Fantastic experience: I spoke with Lisa Bent today at monster reservation group and she was AMAZING! She was very helpful and knowledgeable! She explained all of my trips to me, booked a new trip and did everything she said she would do. Hands down the best!

Positive experience: Booked Cancun for next April. Airfare set up. Even upgraded to the white glove. Got an email that it was cancelled. I didn’t cancel it. Spent THREE hours on phone today with them, transferred three times to some non existent “manager”. Talked to six people. Told them forget it, I just want my money back. They said they can’t. Even though they sent me a email saying it’s cancelled!!! THEIR breach of contract! Nobody could help. (Wanda was nice and only person that was apologetic and really want to sincerely help vs everyone else there just passing the buck). The next day Tariq called me, made some reparations for the airfare changes I had made, re-confirmed the booking and said they were investigating how it happened. He was professional and handled the situation immediately. I changed my rating.

Fantastic experience: I spoke with Susan Cardona with Monster Reservation Groups today to schedule a mini vacay. We were not able to book anything, but the service I got from her was amazingly delightful. Susan is very sweet, friendly and personable. You hear the sweetness through her voice. She was also very informative and knowledgeable. I will keep in touch with her to book anything that comes along and our plans are more flexible.

Positive experience: Don’t waste your money, salespeople will lie to you to get the deal done and when it comes time to cancel they will not refund your money 100% even with white glove insurance. So disappointed: Update Tariq B contacted us this morning, corrected our accommodations and went above and beyond taking care of us. Thank you and we can't wait to enjoy our vacation. I'll update to a 5 star once we return and promises were fulfilled!

Fantastic experience: Richard Daly was so professional and went above and beyond to take his time and FULLY explain my vacation package to me and refused to quit until I fully understood my package which thanks to him I now do. He actually made me feel good that I purchased the vacation package and I’m looking forward to booking all of them now that he explained all of the fees and cost associated with each vacation. Fantastic experience: First, and most importantly, Alexis Meeker said that she would pray for me and my family because I told her the reason I had to cancel/reschedule my vacation. That meant the world to me because you don’t find people like that in this world very often. Second, she explained my options and then re-explained them to me so I could understand them, and make the best choice for me and my family at this time. She was not a pushy salesman and she did not act disappointed in any of my decisions. I felt heard and respected by her.

Fantastic experience: I spoke with Diana Welthy regarding a getaway that I wanted to schedule and she was so helpful. Her expertise found me the perfect place and time and even found it on my husband’s birthday (exactly as I wanted). I was previously being passed around from 800 number to 800 number and Diana said it’s going to stop with her. I can’t thank her enough. Fantastic experience: I would have given 0 stars if I wasn't helped by Kellie. She went above and beyond for us. I would like to personally thank Kellie Russell for helping my husband and I. We booked a trip back in September for the Thanksgiving week; a 5 day 4 night stay for our family. Paid for the package plus all taxes and fees. We took time off of work and school and purchased flights for everyone. Unfortunately when we called and booked another trip in advance to make sure our dates were available, that previous representative failed to notify us that our thanksgiving trip would be cancelled. (Trying to make commission off of another trip purchase). After a week of back and forth calls, transfers, false promises, no call backs, trying to get things reversed/resolved with no luck and being extremely frustrated and inconvenienced, Kellie was able to help us get at least a refund (which NO ONE else would help us with). Thank you for all of your help Kellie! Maybe you can show your colleagues how to give good customer service!

Positive experience: Difficult to give a honest review until we have had a visit. But can say, we did feel at first we were oversold on not just the original plan, but also an additional charge that we did not see the point ! But, once I was able to speak with a Representative, she was able to straighten things out and helped me to understand the programs more fully. Positive experience: I didn’t have an opportunity to finalize my booking last night because I was traveling in DC traffic and if you’ve ever been anywhere near metropolitan DC, you understand rush hour frustration. As for my booking delay, I didn’t feel safe pulling over to retrieve card information nor could I risk further delays as I was traveling about 3.5 hours away. That said, the call representative was absolutely wonderful and she deserves a solid five for her professionalism, kindness, and determination to help meet my destination preference. As for the process, it is the reason that I selected a four star rating and not a five! I was sent a booking reminder email that prompted me to book my vacation dates using a calendar widget. I assumed that I had finalized my dates but discovered that my dates were not guaranteed. As a result, my desired dates were not available and I will need to call back to determine availability for my desired location. I plan to proceed with Booksi just hoping to snag my desired location and dates.
