Negative experience: I don’t want to give this any stars, but I have to put something. I am very disappointed with my stay. My original reservation had me at good location. But when I arrived in town, my hotel stay was changed to a location that has never been on my radar when I travel. I called monster group three times the day of my check in. And was told that I had to call the vacation company. After I called them the next day, because it was too late to call that same day, I was told that I had to call back monster group. After calling monster group back, (4th call), I was told that all of their hotel rooms were booked and there was nothing that could be done. I understood things happen, but if you need to change because that current location is full at least book at another location that is computable to the original location. I got book at a location that was beneath my standard and not computable to what I thought I was getting. Will I use monster vacation again, no thanks. Nor will I recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I just made my first reservation with Monster RG and it was so easy! Taylor Wells assisted me in booking the perfect girls trip getaway to the Tahiti Village Resort in Las Vegas. He searched for the best deals and even got me an extra day!! Negative experience: So far just big let down. First they change our presentation time to the day were leaving then they charge to get into little water park after I was told passes would be included in package. For this I would recommend Wolf Lodge or Kalahari. Its more expensive but atleast you get what you pay for. Will not be using this package even though I have five more stays. I will cut my losses now.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased to talk today with Jeff Dooley of Monster Reservations. He walked me through the process of booking a two bedroom condo in Myrtle Beach for three nights/four days. At all times during our conversation, Jeff was very polite, and well-versed on his subject matter. Not once did he try to “over-power me”. Jeff was very knowledgeable about the Myrtle Beach area, and agreed that the resort that he helped me select would be a perfect match for me. Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. This is a fraud. You can buy packages with them, but they never have any openings. They continue to try to sell you extra vacations. If you cannot book anything and challenge them that they never have any properties open, they are alright with hanging up on you. Tyreek is their online review public relations man. He cannot help you. He knows nothing, Stay away! Run! Do not fall into this trap. They get your money and then never deliver!

Fantastic experience: Lyndsey had a lot of patience. My bank card kept sending out a fraud alert every time she ran my card. I called my fraud alert number to let them know that I was trying to reserve a booking through Monster Reservations. They said everything was fine so we tried running card again. To our dismay it still didn't work. So I three way called my banks fraud alert line and we all three figured it out. I was at the point of saying forget it when Lyndsey made one last attempt with fraud alert on the line and the charge finally went through. So I'm very happy with the patience and understanding of your reservation specialist. Thankyou once again. Will post another review after I take my trip.

Positive experience: [Update] The company eventually sent the confirmation, but it took three phone calls over a 20-day period. When you f leave a negative review, the owner responds by providing their resolutions email address. The resolution team contacts you, offering to upgrade your stay with an extra day in exchange for updating your negative review and requesting that you include their name in the updated review. Reviews mentioning specific names here seem to indicate that the reviewer originally had a poor experience. In my case, after 11 days without receiving confirmation, I left a negative review. The resolution specialist contacted me, asking for a review update that included their name. Even then, it still took another week to receive the confirmation. Fantastic experience: Chris, Where do I start, he answered the call with an exuberant amount of energy. He was diligent in giving details about our pkg. I applaud his CS, I worked in CS when I was part of the workforce and know it can be very stressful(irate customers etc.) and being able to be pleasant. He showed concern and continued a conversation as he confirmed and searched for my pkg details. Negative experience: I was scammed by a Monster sales team into purchasing a $1148 vacation package. They lied to me about how may sales pitches I would have to do, that I would be provided all of the details of my purchase via text and email which I was only able to get from them after multiple phone calls and email requests to cancel. Now I don’t trust them, once I finally got the details it revealed yet another lie. Finally I get to speak to a manager and he talked over me, accuses me of not being willing to work with him, tries to convince me I wasn’t scammed and lied to. I discovered my mistake and attempted to cancel and get a refund before 24 hours had even passed. I was clear on that phone call about my expectations and was told they would be met. They were not and I don’t do business with folks I can’t trust. After multiple bad reviews detailing what had happened and a complaint with the BBB Monster had a manager call me who did refund the purchase. Too bad it took so much time and effort on my part to get it done.

Negative experience: I'd give a 0 stars if I could! I bought a package 5 years ago and only have been able to use 1 so far. Every time we try to book they do not have availability at the location we requested....even when I call 90 days prior which is what they told me to do. I'm not sure how they have so many "happy" customers. Do the customers choose whatever is available? Have complete freedom to change dates? We've tried booking Tampa, Destin and Wisconsin Dells over the past few years. The locations listed online are never available. I've only been offered one alternative place that was going to cost me nearly $1,000 in fees to stay at. Don't waste your money. What a headache and rip off

Negative experience: DO NOT TRUST THIS SO CALLED “company” - they offer the worst customer service, over promising and under delivering. If there was one experience I would account for in my lifetime as the worst account of customer service, it would be with monster. My parents purchased vacations for my family and I, yet are forced to attend presentations to enjoy a family vacation. They make you pay to activate said vacations and can never accomodate a family of 5. They wrote off my 1-year-old; said they were accounted for but then said vacations of 5 could not be accommodated. Truly a disappointment with every interaction. We rather pay out of pocket than trust this company to reserve memories on our behalf. Save yourself the headache, use professionals.

Negative experience: Im not having a good experience with the customer service right now. Every agent knowledge is different. One agent was encouraging me to buy my flight ticket and another one to not do so. My booking was cancel because I from Quebec Canada. Positive experience: I cancelled a reservation 3 days after I made it and they will not give me a total refund. The reservation was over two months before my check in date (3-1-24). They scammed me on a voice recorded line saying that I agreed to take out insurance to get my deposit back and that they are entitled to the balance. BEWARE!!!!!! Update: I had the good fortune of luckily finding a Representative at MRG (Athan) who looked up the rules for Florida in which I reside. I received a full refund only because there was an office here in Florida and I had 30 days to cancel the reservation. If I lived in another State I would have lost my balance. I learned my lesson of never agreeing to anything on a recorded line in which you are bombarded with questions. Initially, another representative and her manager were more than happy in playing a recording of me agreeing to a contract of taking out insurance. I was contacted by another representative who politely asked that I edit this review after receiving my refund. I told him that I would but I strongly suggest that anyone reading this go to Reddit and read some reviews on MRG before booking a reservation.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. They advertise a hotel stay for 3-5 days, for a total of $39 as long as you attend a timeshare presentation, but it is a lie. After they initially charge you, they call you back and tack on $100’s in extra fees they didn’t advertise, and then after you pay, tell you there’s no guarantee you’ll get booked as you initially requested. So in the end, it is a bit cheaper to book this way, but the hours of hassle and being forced to change flights and other things just isn’t worth the misery and additional costs. I checked out a package they had on Facebook and decided not to go through with it because I'll have to be taking my pet to the vet. I thought I cancelled it but was still charged. When I called the number online and told them the situation, I was told a refund wouldn't be a problem, but I had to call their customer service department and she gave me the number. I called and when I told them I wanted to cancel the reservation she told me it was non-refundable, which is not what their website said. Positive experience: Booked Cancun for next April. Airfare set up. Even upgraded to the white glove. Got an email that it was cancelled. I didn’t cancel it. Fantastic experience: I would have given 0 stars if I wasn't helped by Kellie. She went above and beyond for us. I would like to personally thank Kellie Russell for helping my husband and I. We booked a trip back in September for the Thanksgiving week; a 5 day 4 night stay for our family. Paid for the package plus all taxes and fees. We took time off of work and school and purchased flights for everyone. Unfortunately when we called and booked another trip in advance to make sure our dates were available, that previous representative failed to notify us that our thanksgiving trip would be cancelled. (Trying to make commission off of another trip purchase). After a week of back and forth calls, transfers, false promises, no call backs, trying to get things reversed/resolved with no luck and being extremely frustrated and inconvenienced, Kellie was able to help us get at least a refund (which NO ONE else would help us with). Thank you for all of your help Kellie! Maybe you can show your colleagues how to give good customer service!

Positive experience: Difficult to give a honest review until we have had a visit. But can say, we did feel at first we were oversold on not just the original plan, but also an additional charge that we did not see the point ! But, once I was able to speak with a Representative, she was able to straighten things out and helped me to understand the programs more fully. Positive experience: I didn’t have an opportunity to finalize my booking last night because I was traveling in DC traffic and if you’ve ever been anywhere near metropolitan DC, you understand rush hour frustration. As for my booking delay, I didn’t feel safe pulling over to retrieve card information nor could I risk further delays as I was traveling about 3.5 hours away. That said, the call representative was absolutely wonderful and she deserves a solid five for her professionalism, kindness, and determination to help meet my destination preference. As for the process, it is the reason that I selected a four star rating and not a five! I was sent a booking reminder email that prompted me to book my vacation dates using a calendar widget. I assumed that I had finalized my dates but discovered that my dates were not guaranteed. As a result, my desired dates were not available and I will need to call back to determine availability for my desired location. I plan to proceed with Booksi just hoping to snag my desired location and dates.
