Negative experience: I used to send money to my family and never have a problem with it, however, customer service is the worst I have experienced in my whole life, the gay David Cuesta, is the most terrible person, always rude, treat people in bad manner, he must to have some training how to deliver a right customer service and realize that he is not in Cuba anymore, is a shame that one person is putting the agency in that ugly position, management people have to do something about it if they want to have a successfully business
Negative experience: Staff is so rude, maybe not everyone but super rude there is no signs anywhere when sending 100 lb they tell you is in the back when you go to the back they tell you to go grab a number in the front, horrible customer service, I won’t recommend anyone to come here, there’s many more cuban travel agencies with way better service.

Negative experience: Think twice before using Cubamax to send items to family members. I recently bought a brand new cell phone for my nephew and sent it via Cubamax. Three weeks later they informed me that the phone was "lost". Cubamax said they would send him a replacement phone. Two weeks later, my nephew received a different phone that was broken. I spent $190.00 for my nephew's phone. $140.00 for the phone and $50.00 to ship it via Cubamax. Now my nephew has a broken phone. Cubamax told me in a rude and offensive way that there is no proof of how the phone was broken so they would not be responsible or accountable for the damage. My nephew is very knowledgeable and handy with cell phones. The phone arrived damaged. I would use a different company to ship items to my family in Cuba. Cubamax is not a reliable company and I will never do business with them again. I lost $190.00 because of their negligence.
Positive experience: The company provides a good service to Cubans living in South Florida by sending packages to the island. But there was a long line and the employee in charge of organizing it, let some people to cut the line.
Negative experience: CubaMax has the worst customer service, the quality of service from the staff is very bad, they do not know how to treat customers well, if you call CubaMax they keep you on hold for more than 45 minutes, and they keep you on hold until you have to hang up and call back to be put on hold again and anyway, when you are able to reach the CubaMax staff, they treat you as if your questions make them uncomfortable.

Negative experience: The Store to buy products or other, they have nothing for Gramma!!! I called the store and they told me that they have Food and more: for Gramma; That is a liar! I consider that it’s disrespectful to give information that it’s not true! But spend in Propaganda everywhere saying that they are the best but they lie to people! They tell you a box of 22 pounds is 62 dls but i ended up paying 70 cause of the “credit card charge”They promessed to deliver the box and two weeks later they text me that it had to be picked up in a house when none said anything about it when i pay for it! A complete mess!!

Negative experience: Since July 14, I sent a box of 100 pounds, they sold me a service that the box was going to be delivered in 30 days, which has not been the case until today, October 12, I keep calling week after week to see where the box is. They have moved it from customs and every time I call they have a different excuse. They don't know what it means to provide a real service. They still think they are in Cuba. The shipment is now three months old. It is my first time sending with CubaMax. I do not recommend it. They are experts in lying. Read people's stories, this is not new, it is a practicing sport that they sell you a service that they do not fulfill and they excuse themselves with thousands of lies. They told me that it was a problem with the processes to distribute it with the company that distributes it in Cuba since they do not have warehouses in different parts of Cuba and until the truck is full after the fuel, the worst of all is that this agency and its owners continue to sell the package service to all of Cuba and repeat the cycle of selling services that are totally incompetent and continue to saturate collecting packages in order to collect the money but you, me and everyone who needs it falls into the trap. of these irresponsible businessmen provide a service to the consumer that they do not comply with and after you complain and call week after week they treat you badly customer service There are different small shipping agencies with barely all the necessary means, they are more responsible, honest and compliant, do not use CubaMax so that Don't get stressed because what you send doesn't arrive or takes longer than the time you were promised.

Negative experience: I used it all the time. However, they are not friendly at all. They don't realize that their is a fierce competition all over town. If you treat your customers with "take it or leave it" attitude, they will select other places where they can be treated as they deserve. I guess they deal with a clientele that was never exposed to customer service as we demand in the U.S. when we pay for a service.

Unfortunately I forgot my rewards card the same day that they give me to apply with them, when I called them back to try to get the card one member of the staff pick up the phone and hung up without answering . Very rude. I said Unfortunately because previously I received a good service.

Negative experience: I sent a package November 2, 2022 and it still has not been delivered ... the invoice states "delivery 15 - 30 days approximately," .. NOT 3 MONTHS that is if they receive it this week. I Called their customer service department and they could not care less . If the package is not delivered soon ... will definitely file a claim with the USA Government.

I guess you get what you pay for, about $4 per pound but it will never get there. DO NOT SEND ANYTHING THIS WAY, spend a little more if you need your family in cuba to get the stuff.
Negative experience: They do not deliver products like advertised 3 weeks they promise turns into 2 to 3 months, over charge boxes and the 40 lbs boxes sometimes they don’t have the 40 lbs boxes so you are force to pay for two 20 lbs boxes which is a higher cost by 50%, I do not recommend this agency, also they charge $29 dollars and they give your family only $1300 CUP. I still don’t think they deserve that one star

They add 5 more pounds just in boxes and refuse to take at least half of your items. For phone services is only cash but when it’s for sending things then you can use card.

Positive experience: A place to go for plane tickets or just to send a package abroad, but do not recommend to go on Saturdays. Unless you're willing to be there before 7am for the line. Otherwise don't be surprised if the whole process last 4 hours or more.

Negative experience: Got stranded in Cuba. We had a flight with Swiftair at 2:00 pm then the flight got delayed to 8:00 pm. The plane showed up and the air conditioning is off and it had supposedly been having problems since before it arrived, and they were having trouble starting it. They alleged it was a machine at the airport which was having problems but after trying again and again with another machine, it became clear it was the plane having issues. All of the passengers were in the hot plane closed in for over an hour. One of the workers alleged that plane was recently stuck from 10am to 10pm with passengers stuck inside with no food or air. After getting off the plane and trying to resolve the issue, while the airline owners were at home chilling, we were sent to a hotel at 1am with no guarantee of when a plane was going to come for us. Young kids with no access to wifi or a way to reach their families, and people who left all their things to their families, no clean clothes, no money left, were forced to wait for the airline to decide to send them a plane with no guarantees. Cuba max needs to be held responsible for this negligence and disrespect of basic human rights and allowing this to happen.

I paid for all the stuff my family needed in Cuba and sent money.... For which they charged almost half of what I was sending as a free. I am terribly displeased with the outcome. Turns out I have been giving profits to the son of a tyrant who sees opportunity in the suffering of a whole country. My dollars went to the pockets of people who benefit from communism while my family suffers hunger, oppression and lack the bare necessities.

Negative experience: Do not use Cubamax, it took a year for my family to receive the package. They were charged for them in Cuba even when I paid it here. Most of the packages that were bottled came empty. Worst company to sent packages to Cuba.

My family received the packages after 8 months and they had to pick them up in two different place. They didn’t deliver them at my family’s house like they said and like I paid for it. Also, my family had to pay a fee in those two places. They aren’t professionals. I am very disappointed with this company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.
