Fantastic experience: Currently going through the process of planning a wedding and Destify helped me find a location and finalize room booking. The website they made for me helped tremendously. Sandra has been extremely helpful in answering any questions I have and finding fixes to anything needed. Thank you Destify for making this less stressful.

Fantastic experience: Working with Destify was so seamless. At first touchpoint, we worked with Gisselle who helped us find our perfect destination for our wedding. She reached out to several hotels in several locations and all were within our budget. We ended up choosing Costa Rica. We were able to easily setup our website through their Destify domain where we and all of our guests booked their hotel rooms (we had 100 guests!). We then started working with Candyce who helped us facilitate coordination and communication with the hotel directly and she answered all of our questions along the way. Finally, after the wedding, we worked with Brandie who checked in on us and ensured that we quickly received the room comps that we were guaranteed for booking 18+ rooms. We are super happy and had the most perfect wedding. Thank you, Destify!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Destify enough especially for destination weddings! This platform made the entire wedding planning process so much easier and stress-free. We found our dream venue through their comprehensive database, complete with photos, reviews, and pricing details, which saved us countless hours of research. Not only that, but their wedding website builder (Matt H.) was an absolute lifesaver. It allowed us to design a beautiful, user-friendly site to share all the important details with our guests, including RSVP management and our registry at no cost at all. The customization options made it feel personal and unique to our wedding theme. Matt H. was so helpful and always available to assist in a timely manner. He color coded everything perfectly and uploaded all of our photos just as we wanted! We also were in touch with Destify's group leader specialist, Jasmine and her assistant Holly, quite often to help answer our questions and they helped our guests as well. They even contacted our venue when we needed some help with escalation. They were attentive, friendly, and helped ease our nerves during the waiting period. The only downside was that the terms and conditions weren’t explained very clearly during our intro call, so I’d highly recommend reading the contract carefully to avoid any confusion. For example, read the price match and transportation clause VERY carefully. That said, once we moved past that stage, the experience was wonderful. Thank you, Destify, for helping us bring our vision to life! If you’re planning a wedding, this is a must-have tool!

Fantastic experience: I had situation with logging into my account today, and BLASE went above and beyond to help me out. He stood with me through the entire process, which is rare these days. Blase was quick to provide solutions, and the service he provided was truly exceptional. Thanks again Blase for all your help.

Negative experience: We decided to use Destify to try and save money on our wedding by having our guests book the hotel through them. We decided with Destify on the resort for our wedding based on the fact that there was only a two night minimum. Using Destify locked us into a very ugly and error ridden website where guests were not able to book for less than three nights or simply were not able to book at all. At least one guest called Destify directly and was sent a link to book. Luckily, the link didn't work because our friend was able to book for less through the resort--despite Destify claiming the lowest price. In the end, we regret the bulky, malfunctioning, outdated website we got stuck with and didn't have any real benefit in using them. They simply made creating our website and booking for our guests a major stressor and unnecessary hassle.

Fantastic experience: Ha Tu was absolutely AMAZING. Whatever she is getting paid, triple it. She was so helpful, gave me multiple options and really listened to what I was wanting. Her customer service level exceeded my standards.

Fantastic experience: Johann got back to me within a half hour with a reply to my question. It is comforting to know the staff replies in a timely fashion and cares about questions/concerns. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Destify has been fantastic to work with when planning our destination wedding to Mexico! They are incredibly responsive and have been so helpful to my fiancé and I as well as our guests! Candyce has been my main point of contact for over a year and is always eager to answer any questions I have! I could not recommend them enough!

Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend using Destify. Their rates in comparison to booking directly with the hotel were a few hundred dollars more. I barely heard from them after getting a link to setup our site. The shuttle service wasn't accommodating, you're better off planning on your own. They were hard to get ahold of.

Negative experience: If I could give ZERO stars, I would give a ZERO! My recommendation from a guest perspective, DO NOT USE. Sadly, the bride & groom have to hear all of the poor experiences from not just myself, but other guests as well. When a compnay is hired to help manage a destination wedding, it is supposed to be a stress free experience for the happy couple so they can focus on their wedding. This was not the case. The Destify "personalized" expereince was no where to be found. Every time I interacted with them via phone or email all they could say was "our rules are..." or "our policy is..." and in fact, when I expressed how unsatified I was, what a terrible experience it had been, the supervisor responded "thank you for the feedback!" All they seem to care about is taking your money... and believe me, once they have it, there is nothing you can do. And quite frankly, I think I could have gotten a better deal without going through them. Horrible customer service, none in fact, they could not have cared any less about working with the guests. I do NOT recommend and I hope anyone considering using them finds every review I leave on multiple platforms, because they were that bad! People are human and sometimes life happens. All I needed was to move the arrival date & departure date. I didn't ask for any refund or money back, only a change in schedule, of which the airline could certainly accommdate. In fact, the hotel would gladly accommodate, however they had to hear from this awful compnay to do it for me since I booked through them. Of course Destify WOULD NOT make any changes or contact the hotel. I lost thousdands, and worse, those individuals had to miss the entire celebration weekend. It put a damper on the entire experience for everyone, including the bride & groom. Save yourself the heartache and do NOT use this company.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my interactions with Destify. My niece is getting married at a destination and using Destify to manage the reservations. With the excellent help of Shannon, I was able to upgrade my room and save money. Shannon was professional, polite, and extremely helpful making the process completely pain free for me.

Negative experience: I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but my experience with Destify was downright infuriating. We came to Mexico for a wedding my husband was officiating, only to get held up at the airport with immigration issues, which caused us to miss our flight and lose a night we had paid for at Dreams. When we finally got there the next day and asked about a refund or credit, the hotel kindly told us they would have worked with us if we had booked directly with them. But because we went through Destify, they said we had to take it up with them. Destify, however, showed zero compassion and absolutely no flexibility in a situation entirely out of our control. Their complete lack of empathy and unwillingness to help speaks volumes about how little they value their customers. The staff at Dreams went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, but Destify’s dismissive, uncaring attitude was inexcusable. I regret booking with them and would never recommend Destify to anyone looking for decent customer service or even basic human understanding. I hope when they read this message they will have grace do what’s right.

Fantastic experience: Easy process to secure reservation. Had an issue to clarify with the reservation - the email request was answered within 24 hours - a followup call was also handled with knowledge and clarity. It was a destination wedding of a very special couple we planned to attend. But Destify took care of everything and we appreciate it very much.

Negative experience: Everything was an issue with Destify. I was part of the wedding party and advised to reserve our rooms before rates went up. I was unsure of who was available that far ahead to come with me so I made sure to place a deposit on a room with 2 beds just to secure the spot. As we got closer to the date there was a big shift in plans on who was attending. I simply wanted to add my brother to my existing reservation and let go of the reservation he had also made separately. They had told the bride that would be no issue. When it came down to it of course there was no issue because we were going to be responsible for a whole new reservation meaning now the price went up and we had to pay double. After a lot of back and forth we were told Destify does not control rates. That would have been nice for the bride to know when they told her it would not be a problem. I guess it’s never a their problem. Next came the transportation. My family was traveling from one state and I was traveling from a different state. My parents booked a private van for their transportation that guaranteed them 6 passengers. Which would be my parents and brother, 3 total. I had to book my own. As we got closer to the date they said they were unable to add my brother because he was under my reservation. Again, how does that make sense when the van can clearly hold 6 people and it was paid for. Then my parents had to pay an additional fee to just add his name He was arriving with them. Which my mother had already communicated with them that he was being added to the van. Destify never confirmed with my mother that he was added. It seems multiple people have access to a central email so you never get the same person. You end up repeating yourself. They do not read what is written in the text of the email because you are either called a different name of given details that do not match. Asking for a manager was impossible. Requests for calls were never made. No solutions were ever offered. It was end all be all of choices. Not to mention the attitude if you ever did get on the phone with someone. If this wasn’t my sisters wedding I would have canceled it all and just booked on my own. I have never had such a terrible time trying to accomplish anything. I’m not sure what the perks are to the married couple but this travel agency was the most difficult I have ever experienced as an attendee. Please be aware of what you are booking and read every detail because clearly they cover themselves with fine print. Zero stars.

Fantastic experience: We used Destify for our Destination wedding at the Hard Rock resort Riviera Maya, Mexico. We had about 75 guests book through Destify. They were super responsive and helpful through the whole wedding booking process and even helping get a hold of our wedding specialist and coordinator assigned by the Resort. They made sure that I got quick responses from the resort wedding team whenever needed. So grateful for that, There were a few hiccups with transfers to and from the hotel but solved quickly. How specialist through Destify did change but the team backing up the specialists were great! Overall things went great! I would definitely recommend them to anyone else deciding on a destination wedding.

Fantastic experience: I’ve worked with Destify a few times now as a guest for destination weddings and have only had great experiences! The most recent time, I was working with Martin to price match my trip with the hotel we are staying at, and he was super quick and responsive with everything, and he got our hotel to price match our room at a lower rate. 10/10 company to work with!

Fantastic experience: This is my first trip using the Destify company. Still upcoming but so far so good! I had a great experience communicating with their stuff through the website. Ones I had difficulties with adding a shuttle to my hotel reservations, they were very helpful in every step! I'd say it is the best experience over all working with customer service, when people really trying to help you by making your trip as smooth as possible!

Negative experience: I went through Destify to pay for a destination wedding in Mexico from Oct 16th to 19th. Their communication is not that good via email. I paid for 2 people for transportation to and from the airport. They sent me a confirmation for 1 person. When i tried to rectify the situation, i was told to pay again and then ask for a refund later. I only wanted them to change the trasnport from 1 to 2 and that was extremely hard for them to do. Once i arrived at my resort the local staff tried calling 3 numbers that listed in their Destify email. NOT ONE number worked. A simple change that i needed truend into a bad experiece. If i paid for 2 people, i shoyldnt get denied transportation. I wind up taking an uber ti the airport to get back home.

Fantastic experience: I initially planned to attend a destination wedding during that unfortunately was canceled, leading to some financial concerns for me having put down a non refundable deposit. However thanks to the incredible support from Helen and Holly, we managed to resolve the situation, and now I can look forward to enjoying my trip to Costa Rica!

Fantastic experience: My first out of country experience is approaching and I couldn't be more excited. In the final stages of planning process however I noticed my reservation name was not exact as passport. I reached out to support and received prompt response. After connecting with Steve and informing him of the situation, my reservation name was updated without issue. He was so quick, courteous, and helpful! Now my niece and her new husband can still accrue points towards their stay and I still have the best pricing available for our stay. Fantastic experience: Jean from Guest Services has been very helpful with answering questions when making modifications to our reserved room. His response was timely and detailed enough to make informed decisions in a short amount of time. Gabby was the first person we spoke with from Destify and she was a great guide when it came to choosing a destination and providing prices of venues to assist with planning. She considered our thoughts and preferences when looking at available countries and venues for certain dates. In addition, she was a great resource for all of our questions in regards to marriage paperwork and walked us through the first few steps of planning a destination wedding.

Fantastic experience: I spoke with representative Karicely. She was able to help me make some name changes on my dashboard so that they would match the names on our passports. I was concerned that it would have been a problem at the airport when we tried to get our tickets to board the plane. Thankfully she knew exactly how to make the changes and helped me to refresh my dashboard information so that I could be assured the changes were accurate. Having last minute problem at the airport would have been a disaster and I only recently noticed the problem. Thankfully it was solved quickly and easily.

Negative experience: I had a deeply disappointing experience with Destify for a wedding booking. We expected to receive competitive rates as part of the wedding guest booking process, but we later discovered that the hotel offered a significantly lower rate directly. When we brought this to Destify’s attention, they refused to match the rate, citing rigid policies that offer no flexibility within 65 days of check-in. For an agency that claims to specialize in wedding bookings, they failed to ensure we received the best rate or offer any accommodation for the price difference. Their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, showing no willingness to improve the guest experience or make amends for the higher rate we were locked into. To make matters worse, when we requested some form of compensation or a resolution, they closed the ticket without providing any solution. I would not recommend using Destify for any travel-related bookings, especially for important events like weddings. We expected much better service and support, and unfortunately, they did not deliver. Proceed with caution if you’re considering booking with them.

Negative experience: Where do I even begin? My cousin booked her wedding with destify. After I had booked my hotel directly through IHG and RSVP through destify, my cousin's "advisor" stated that RSVPing doesn't give me a spot in the wedding. That in order to be apart of the wedding that I had no choice but to book the hotel through destify. Although destify's prices were higher I told her to ask if I would still get my IHG points. The "advisor" said as long as I give my IHG number to the front desk upon arrival that I would receive my points. So I canceled my first booking and paid more to book through destify. When I arrived at the hotel I gave them my information but the said I wouldn't get my points. Now as for the hotel, that's a whole other story. Another family member had paid the deposit and lost the deposit and the booking because they do not take the payment directly from the card you have on file. They make you sign back in and choose how you would like to pay. And if you don't do that in the time frame that they give you not only do you lose the $150 PER PERSON deposit, but you lose the booking and the price. So now this family member is out $300 for her and her husband and to book another room the price was 70% higher than when she booked. But as a summary! Destify is the WORST service I have ever experienced. Their advisors have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. All they care about is you booking through them so they can get their cut. They will lie and deceive you to make more money. Please, if you want your big day to be amazing FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY!

Fantastic experience: The process of booking with Destify was quick and easy, and when I needed to make an adjustment to my travel plans Helen from guest services was very helpful and prompt with her communication. We were able to extend our trip and save some money on the booking which was excellent. My wife and I are so excited for our upcoming trip!
