I did change of schedule twice with them and in both instances they asked me to zelle the money and asked me to send another additional amount post payment. They dont care about your emergency situation and will take their time with so called backend team and give you addional charges. Do not use this agent unless you want to throw away your money

Negative experience: Be Careful with this company. I purchased three tickets from Alanita Travel on 03/31/2024 to travel to India. Delta airlines changed my Itinerary and re-issued my tickets for my return travel to USA. Alanita Travel schedule change team never informed me with the new confirmed itinerary with the new flight information. I never received an email from Alanita Travel or Delta Airlines with the with the new confirmed flight schedule. I went to board at my original confirmed flight and they told me I missed the flight which was rebooked on another flight. I spent $5000 to purchase other one way tickets to come back to USA and had to stay in Del for 2 nights and miss two days of work. Alanita Travel refused to accept their mistake and refund the money. Anyone who is reading this review can check the details about this issue with my BBB Complaint ID: 22152415. Alanita Travel is not honest. They are messing up their good work by booking good tickets with their bad sloppy scheduling team work. Mistakes can happen. Instead of accepting their mistake and try to help the customer, they will lie and keep arguing. My flight schedules were really changed on July 8th not June 9th. Delta re-issued my tickets on that day. Just answer one question. Did you send an email to me on July 8th when Delta re-issued my ticket with the new flight schedules? Yes or No? Is it not your responsibility to inform your customer when the airlines rebook your ticket with the new flight schedule on the day it happened? It doesn't matter whatever the communication happened between you and me until July 8th. That is just talk. The real change happened on July 8th. If you had sent one email on July 8th, when the flight change really happened, I would have never missed the flight.

Positive experience: On the whole a good experience with Dilip. The only couple of things that could have been better is accepting the credit card transaction without making us send a screen shot of token charges as well as the company not working with any credit card linked with Bank of America.

Negative experience: Don't go with these guys, these guys are using cheap tricks to cheat customers. I asked for date change which they charged 350 Dollars but I got it done in 50 dollars by calling airlines directly. I got it done with in hour when alanita travels confirmed the rate. Beware of these guys

Negative experience: Never had any issue before. We have booked thr Alanita many times. But this time, it was frustrating to get things done. Just want to postpone a ticket and the agents are struggling to make it happen. The rates change with time. I even told I will not be able to pay more just because some agent delayed responding. The response time is pathetic. They will that I will receive a call in ten mins and no response even after 1 hr. I wish I had booked directly from emirates. The only reason was my parents were traveling at different days so thought it would easy to get it done with travel agency.

Negative experience: I have been booking with Alanita travels from past 7 years so many times but looks like alanita travels is not doing any good business now , I am facing lot of issues with unknown hikes after payments , this is almost 3rd time that because of the miss information I had to pay the little more dollars unnecessarily. Negative experience: No 1 fraud company I have booked 4 air tickets to India through Alanita Travels. My travel date was on April 2021, unfortunately I was unable to travel on that day as my daughter's OCI card didn't arrive on time. I called Alanita Travels to cancel my ticket. Instead of refunding the amount they told they will keep the tickets in open status so that I can use it later (Beware this is their cunning strategy to rob your money). I called them again after 1 year for cancelling that open ticket and collecting my refund, but they again convinced me saying that I can use the open tickets later by paying only the fare difference at the time of travel. After that I approached them on May 2023, for cancelling the open ticket and they told many excuses and prolonged my cancellation process. Finally on July 11, 2023 they agreed to refund the entire ticket charges and collected 46% of ticket charges as cancellation cost. But till date they have not done any refund. When I asked they are stating the reason that Qatar Airways is not ready to refund the amount as 2 year period is over. When I inquired with Qatar Airways they informed me that April 2021 tickets Alanita already cancelled and collected refund, where as open tickets are still active which can be cancelled and refunded only through Alanita Travels. Alanita says Qatar is not refunding. Qatar says they can refund to Alanita only. In simple words they cheated me without refunding a single penny for my cancelled tickets, in fact they were able to snatch another good amount of money in the name of cancellation cost. Beware of these fraud company and take utmost care while dealing with them!!!

Fantastic experience: I booked ticket for my parents before COVID and then because of COVID we had to cancel ticket .. i applied for refund, I talk to different agent who was unable to resolve my refund issue. Then one fine day I called and I had word with BALAJI, he was polite, knowledgeable, helpful and confident. He stated following up with Qatar airways and at last I got refund 09/21/2023 . Negative experience: Not a good experience over the call services. I have called them multiple times over last 2-3 days because my itinerary kept changing. Talked to multiple operators, and when finally ready to book, they changed my itinerary dates without informing me first. When called, the one name “Kevin” said you missed your payment deadline. Lies. When I said I am okay with the changes as long as I get good price, told me to go online and shop for myself. Never sent the new itineraries “in 5 minutes”. I am glad I shop for myself and got better price. I have booked with Alanita before, but this was first time over a call and not a great experience.

Negative experience: I spoke to two different individuals from this company, they told me I'll receive the itinerary in 30 minutes but nothing came back. Happened twice, hence wanted to put this review out there! Thankfully I found another travel company who booked my tickets at a lot lesser price ($200 bucks/ticket cheaper on the same airline) than what Alanita shows on their website...please shop around people! Nope! Nada!

Negative experience: Worst experience.They caused so much inconvenience by letting us know in the last minute about cancellation of connection flight from Delhi to Hyderabad, not even trying figure out how to help the customer inspite of charging so much expensive ticket. Even when the problem is from their side they didn’t even in put minimum effort at least try in a different way . They are irresponsible and trying to exploit the customers . We have spent total 6000$ for 4 tickets now they cancelled all our two and fro tickets from Detroit to Hyderabad and trying to exploit us by demanding more money for tickets knowing that we would not be able to purchase tickets any other way 1 day before travel and these tickets were planned so ahead

Negative experience: I had a really bad experience with Alanita travels and I wouldn't recommend them to my friends and family. They are not reliable & transparent at all. They are cheaters. Until you make the reservation through them, they are all very friendly and try to be very helpful. After that they try their best to scam you and take additional money from you. They hide many things from you during the booking. They won't tell you the ticket they are booking whether it's refundable or nonrefundable. For instance, I had to reschedule my ticket that they booked through UA. When I reached out to UA they said it's through some agent and they won't be able to provide any information. So when I reached out to the Alanita representative, the person was very rude and not helpful. On top of that they mentioned tickets are nonrefundable , but they said they will help with rescheduling and I have to pay the fare differences. When I compare the ticket price on the UA website , it's comparatively low what the agency is asking to pay. When I tried to further explain my case, the representative was rude and hung up. I generally don't write the reviews in google, but the experience was so bad as well as reading other reviews in google confirms the same. I want to make sure others don't have an impact like me and hence I wanted to drop this note. Please suggest if there is any way I can file a fraud case against them.

Fantastic experience: I found a ticket and fare that I like and was trying to book on the airline’s website. It was not accepting my credit card. My friend suggested to try Alanita Travel. First of all I was able to book the ticket without any issues. The website is very user friendly, where I didn’t I have to re-enter the same information again for each leg. Negative experience: Good : They attend your call and you can get you tickets booked which you can do yourself by logging into the airlines site. Bad: They never support when the airlines cancel our ticket and some of their staff might guide you wrongly on what to do next. My wife and kid had a terrible experience booking tickets with them for their trip from the US to India via Delta and Air India flight they booked. I strongly suggest to go and book tickets in airlines direct web site, if you don't get any good deal then go with agents. Any agents will support only when there is some commission involved like booking and rescheduling. They don't give proper response when airlines cancel the ticket.

Positive experience: Alanita has been my go to shop for international tickets. during my most recent reservation I experienced outstanding service from Pallavi who was extremely patient and helpful and responsive for call backs. She was very understanding during the whole process. Something I missed while making the reservation by myself was the number of baggage and Pallavi helped me to correct it and find a flight suitable to my needs. I'm giving 4 stars because of the Alanita System processing my requests which can be improved.

Negative experience: I had a really bad experience with Alanita travels and I wouldn't recommend them to my friends and family. Until you make the reservation through them, they are all very friendly and try to be very helpful. After that they try their best to scam you and take additional money from you. Be careful. When I mentioned them that Emirates is charging me lesser amount to reschedule, they didn't trust me and was claiming that I should receive a written letter from Emirates before they can try to match the fee which Emirates was charging (which doesn't make sense and points that they are trying to scam you by over-charging you and once you provide you the proof that then they will try to match the price of what Emirates was charging). When I tried to further explain my case, the representative was rude and hung up on. I generally don't write the reviews in google, but the experience was so bad as well as reading other reviews in google confirms the same. I want to make sure others don't impacted like me and hence I wanted to drop this note.

Fantastic experience: BALAJI was extremely helpful and more importantly, very patient with all my questions regarding my refund for the travel that I was supposed to do on May 7th. Unexpectedly I could not travel and he was professional, courteous and responsive and worked with me to get me the possible ways for my refund. She even offered to keep trying multiple days until we get a price that was suitable to me. She was extremely patient and helpful! I was looking for a good deal and Alanita Travels had the best deal compared to two other agents and multiple websites. And when I say best deal, I'm talking savings of $1000+. The only thing that I think Alanita travel needs to change is the process of getting in touch with the agent you are working with. The receptionist answers the call and takes a message for the agent who calls you back in 30 minutes to 2 hours. I think that was an obstacle in wrapping up the ticket purchase. Other than that, it was a great experience working with Alia and Alanita Travels. I have already recommended them to friends and family.

Positive experience: We used Alanita multiple times specially in emergency. They have best prices and 24 hr services. Neha was very good to find best price, responsive and helpful. The booking process is bit complicated and manual where they ask form multiple confirmation emails. Every time, we call they take the message and the representative responds back later. So, bit challenging, they don't answer your quarry right away.

Fantastic experience: I recently booked my airline ticket to India through Alanita. They are professional very responsive and helped me with all options available to suit my needs and provided me with all information I need to plan my trip. Negative experience: Don’t purchase tickets from Alanita - go to the airlines directly. They don’t care about their customers - only after your money and will gloss over refund, booking policies to get it. Worst travel agency. Don't respond to emails. Call endlessly without looking at previous notes. Booked a round-trip flight with them. First, they booked tickets that didn't let us choose the seats beforehand - they didn't tell us this when we booked the ticket. Second, they changed the 1st connection without checking with us. Had to call them multiple times (since they don't respond to email) to get it addressed. Third, when we were in India we had an emergency, and had to reschedule our return ticket to come back early. Agents were super rude, and very unhelpful and gave us the run-around asking us to call the airlines. When the airlines pushed us back to them, they claimed that they couldn't rebook us unless we booked a new itinerary since there were no seats - how can that be? Whether its a new reservation, or an existing reservation, a seat is a seat. Finally, they admitted that they would book us back only if we paid for a new ticket. At that point we were so done with Alanita we decided to cancel our ticket, and not to give them our business. Turned out the ticket was valid only for 1 more month, so it was thousands of dollars down the drain.

Fantastic experience: It was an awesome experience booking tickets with Neeraj. He patiently explained all the options, answered all my questions, gave me all the different quotes I requested. He followed up with me after the call for the booking and stayed on the call and waled me through the entire process. After booking the tickets, he called me after about half an hour and helped me with the seats and meals. I travel to India every year and will be booking tickets only with Alanita. I forgot to mention that I also got a great price.

Fantastic experience: Great Service and Best Itinerary at cheaper rates. This is not the first time I have done my travel booking via Alanita, and I must say it was a great experience again so far. Xavier from their team, worked diligently to get me the best fares and the itineraries that suited my requirement along with special meal preferences. He has also mentioned to contact him in case of any issues/questions after the booking confirmation up to the travel date and am sure the team would be helpful in case need be.
