Negative experience: Absolutely scam. Gentlemen I spoke with told me of 1 time payment for a 4 day 3 night resort stay. When I called to set up my stay the lady I spoke with explained I needed to become a member to get the free stay and pay $2,499. What I paid before didn't even go towards a stay I would still have to pay for my room ‍♀️. False information was given to me by the gentlemen I initially spoke with.

She explained everything to the T and made it very easy to understand and grasp everything that I would receive from my purchase. I would recommend her and this company to anyone that is an active military member, veteran, government associate, or first timer. Negative experience: They call waaaaay too much. It’s annoying. Yes I told them to put me on a temporary do not call. I’ve told them if I need anything I’ll call them. Even when I anticipate what the call is about, they would say “No, actually…” and say exactly what I anticipated and declined numerous times. Yes I know I have unused points and certificates, but I can’t use them because my wife is pregnant and due soon. My family and friends are too busy to use it. So just stop spamming my phone already. Holy crap.

Fantastic experience: DENISE THE FREAKIN BEAST, I haven't travel much due to my lack of funds and ever since i joined the military i didnt give it much thought. I stumbled by this page by accident, Denise saw this and not only sold me on the idea of keeping my account but also improving it. I haven't used it yet but I'm happy to know that it'll be ready to use and that if I have any concerns Denise will be there for me, my wife, and my family

Negative experience: So I paid for a membership got the points then wanted to book a specfic cruise. What a nightmare. My agent never returned my calls, 3 of them over a 2-3 week period. I didn't find out until I had other disappointing issues getting reservations that my booking agent no longer worked at the company. No one from GVR HR went back to the agents desk to retrieve messages left on the agents phone. I paid a good amount for my membership and I feel I got way more disappoints than bonus points. Do better GVR!!!!

Fantastic experience: Kevin Fonseca was awesome he saved me tons of money and really sold me Gov Vacations as a quality worthwhile travel option. I don’t think anywhere else will give me half as good deals. An absolute must for any member of the military. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: There’s no other place like GVR. But the teams that help are amazing. I just only wish one thing. Some don’t have accents to where we can fully understand. I speak 4+ languages and it’s usually easy for us to pick up on stuff, but at times it was extremely challenging to understand and I’m afraid someone may get something different than what they want because of that barrier of understanding. That’s the only thing I request for GVR to pay close attention to. Other than that, they are amazing!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service! Spoke to a senior agent from the Scottsdale office on 9 Nov @ approximately 2:00 p.m. My family and I were on speaker phone trying to book 2 rooms to a resort. The agent was extremely rude, cutting me off several times and failed to understand or explain the problems we were having with your website. His only concern was trying to sell us an upgraded membership. This was our first attempt to use your service and what a horrible experience it was. I was embarrased in front of my family. They were shocked how calm I remained as the agent teeated me with so much disrespect. We won't be coming back.

Positive experience: Customer service was FANTASTIC!! It is very clean and well-maintained. Aaron, a server in the SOLARIS buffet area; Alejo, a server in PANCHO restaurant, and Edjuardo, a poolside server were the BEST examples of extraordinary customer service. There isn't a lot to do during the day except water aerobics so you have to go off site if you're easily bored at the pool. The Club Solaris is a good value for the price and I would recommend it if you just want to relax.

Fantastic experience: I must say, Isabella vega! My rep. Really work hard on giving me an affordable price to pay in on vacation. I have 5 children . I can’t afford to travel and she made it where we can. Being a first responder/ military mom , busy schedule: I can even do 2 days vacation with my children. Negative experience: This may not be worth the cost or hassle. I joined a couple of months ago for a family vacation. The price was higher than that of Expedia, with limited locations, hotels, etc. I'm still waiting for an agent to call me back after she promised to call the next day about 2 months ago when I would have time for her explanation of the website, which I didn't ask for. I just needed clarification on pricing. The jury is still out. I won't pay for membership again....thats for sure.
