Tornado & El Expreso Bus Company Dallas I-30

Negative experience: False advertising. The website and posted signage says that a customer can take "two suitcases not to exceed 40 pounds each". When I arrived with appropriate luggage they made us pay $20 extra because they have smaller vehicles now. They have not updated the posted signs or their policy on their website.

Negative experience: Bought my mother a ticket from Dallas, TX. to El Paso, TX. and the baggage policy on the website states each passenger is allowed 2 pieces of luggage that must not exceed 40 lbs each. Therefore, we planned accordingly and when we arrived at the station, we were told the buses had recently been changed and the maximum was one bag that doesn’t exceed 30 lbs and we would have to leave the other behind. This is unacceptable as there are signs on the doors of the station also explaining the same policy on the website, so this is ridiculous. I spoke to the manager on duty which explained that if I pay $20, she could indeed take the second bag. I paid it but am disappointed with the lack of transparency and misleading information. I was not expecting to pay an additional $20 for the policy that should already be in place. I will take my business elsewhere.

Negative experience: This place is Disgusting Roaches of all sorts crawling up the walls , chairs, floors, Dont even go inside there. cleaning people are present but what the are cleaning idk i just see them move the cart from one side of facility to the other. I stopped in different bus stops but this is by FAR the WORST dirtiest no pest control. Nasty crumb in chairs, floors, speakers are from 1920 very echo cant understand what they are announcing no idea what they said i do speak spanish and only announce in spanish. In Dallas TX

Fantastic experience: I picked up a friend who used their service and she was very pleased with this bus company. The bus was clean and it arrived on time. This is a HUGE upgrade over Gray Hound.

Fantastic experience: The food inside the bus station is really good. The ladies working there are running it like the navy.

Negative experience: This station sucks. Arrived on time and the bus wants to arrive hours later. They don't even have the times displayed on the screen to tell people what time they will arrive.

Positive experience: I’ve been to Tornado Bus Company a few times now, and I’ve liked it so far because it takes the necessary stops to provide the the people in the Bus. The only complaint I have is that it is dirty. I don’t expect for it to be a super clean bus because some people are unsanitary but I just hope they can fix it up a bit. Overall it is a good Bus station.

Fantastic experience: This is just a very good bus line. I don't speak a word of Spanish, but I've never felt more welcome and spoiled on a bus than with Tornado. The drivers especially, who give each of the passengers their personal attention.

Fantastic experience: If you have ever ridden on greyhou-other charter buses, they take 2-3 hours longer to travel the same routes, tornado bus is the fastest charter bus around, and if you are disabled, you can book a double decker and they will allot you two seats on the bottom row all to yourself

Negative experience: The ride from Chicago to Dallas was ok drivers were ok the driver from Dallas was terrible shes a speed racer with a attitude didn't stop for us to use bathroom or eat u have people who are diabetic like me who take insulin who need to eat awedul driver I will write letter to federal transportation about this I will not ride this bus again and will write on Facebook about this experience

Their busses are new, they don't have unnecessary stops, and, their facilities are clean and smell good. Another thing, everyone that works there is friendly! Imagine that. The other bus company with a dog on it? That other bus company is doggy........ Laughing. Great Job Tornado. I recommend your service to everyone.
