Negative experience: They used an advertised prized on Kayak let you get all the way through purchasing then tell you there has been and issue with the purchase and it failed. They then text you telling you they tried calling which they did not and email telling you the price has increased would you like to continue…. Such a scam!

Negative experience: SCAM! I was directed from ca.kayak to this site. Be aware if you are booking from canada, it’s USD and you will end up getting charged more. Their simple reply is can’t help you at all neither the credit, coz it’s been more than 24 hours. It takes at least 3-5 business days for amount to get posted. I got almost $900 cheaper flight on same day compare to them but unfortunately they can’t refund me back, neither offer me future credit. Thought it would be cheaper , ended up paying $900 CAD more.

Negative experience: TOTALLY CRIMINAL SCAM COMPANY, immediately cancelled my flight with JAL and told me that because I did a chargeback last time (FALSE) they had to cancel. Then I got emails from JAL in Japanese which means my booking actually went through, they just kept my money. These people are going to jail. Do not ever use them.

Negative experience: If I have option gave zero I bought from sfo to jfk $1497 for three people online after I paid on oct9 the next day some one from cheap flights called me and ask if I want first class I decline ask economic plus for $100 dolled axtra so I accept . I wait close my flight day and called cheap flights fair and asked every thing is ok I paid you extra money for reservations yes we reserve for . On e day ahead I called the man said your seat assign on the time of birding I said I paid extra money let me to check and said yes .24 hours befor the flight time we reserve for .24 hours ahead of flight a called because it was 10pm so a lady said please call in morning I called it the morning a man said it missed up we sorry. Finally cheat flights fair charged me extra money for nothing. Just scammed me.

After cancelling through the airline and enough arguing on the phone the cancellation fee changed to 150, then 50, then nothing at all

Negative experience: Always the same: I buy a ticket and an hour later someone calls me from this Cheapflightsfares and says that they can't confirm my ticket because it doesn't exist and they offer me a ticket much more expensive than it was, they offer me a ticket more expensive than it is on the official airline site, lol. And this is not the first time. This is time wasted with this company. I can't even call it a company. I wasted the whole day on the phone with them today. Negative experience: One of the worst experiences when I spoke with the customer service regarding an issue on my itenerary. The lady was not at all helpful and talked to me in a demeaning tone where she put me on hold several times without intimating and left me thinking whether I'm talking to myself. Negative experience: Avoid, it's a scam! I was sent to them from kayak website - they offered a ticket for about $60 less than other website. I read that reviews were positive, and went ahead and booked the flight through them. After submitting my credit card information, I received the notification that my flight is confirmed (they gave me their own confirmation number, not official 6 letter one), but i should wait few minutes to few hours for the e-ticket number. Nothing else came to my mailbox for few hours, so finally I called. The person told me that this ticket cannot be confirmed by the airline, so instead of cancelling my reservation, he insisted that I take a flight on a different day, or with a different airline. He would not take a no for an answer, and kept me on hold for 10 minutes twice when I insisted that I need to cancel this reservation, coming back every time with more suggestions even after i told him i do not want anything else! Wasted so much of my time. . I was so worried that I would not get ticket with someone else, but luckily I went back to kayak and booked through Priceline for the slightly higher price, and got my confirmation immediately. Finally he told me that the ticket is cancelled and my card is not charged. He was supposed to send me a cancellation confirmation by email but I never got it. I would never deal with these people again, and would not recommend anyone. Especially with their trick that they told you that your ticket is confirmed when you actually do not have a ticket - this is so dangerous! I believe they use this tactic by showing the ticket price less than anyone else, and then getting people's cc information and try to sell them the other tickets at the higher price. Will never go there again and want to warn everyone else to stay away.

Negative experience: SCAM. My card was declined so I put card in again, after telling my bank is was an ok charge, I did not see the reservation. I called about this, and they said the price had gone up. However, I saw the same price online. I told them I did not want to do business with them, and to not charge my card. They then.. argued with me and would not honor my request. I had to ask 6 times, was put on hold twice, and only when I told them I would deny the charge from my bank and that this all appeared to be a fraud, did they cancel my request. DO NOT do business with them, this is a fraud company.

Positive experience: Update: They did work with me to get the information I needed to submit my business expense report, so I'm updating the number of stars. The booking process was fine, although their flights weren't really cheaper than going directly through an airline.The reason for the 2-star review is that after 3 interactions with customer support, they still cannot provide me with a receipt that shows the amounts charged to my credit card. This probably doesn't matter for most people, but this was a business trip and I can't get the expense approved because they cannot provide me with a receipt showing what they charged to my credit card.

They called immediately and said they couldn’t honor it and tried to find me another flight. The other flight was horrible. They claimed they did not charge me and I needed to cancel the reservation. I found another flight. Paid for that one. Went to my account the next day and they took out $1,000. When I called them they said they did not take it out. Working on getting my refund back now. Negative experience: Horrible experience booking with them. I booked my flight and two hours later was called and said my flight wasn't available and I needed to book for another day. I was a little shocked that nowhere did it tell me booking flight didn't actually book it and that suddenly I was being asked to just change the date like it wasn't an issue. All the people making those 5 star reviews have one or two total reviews. Check out the real reviews, the one star ones that weren't written by bots or AI. Negative experience: Stay away from this company. By far the worst online travel company out there. They booked me on the wrong flight which turned out to be non refundable after they just stopped responding and ignored their mistake and all communications from me.

Negative experience: I was redirected to this website from another travel site. Under the impression the plane ticket would be cheaper. I was unaware at the time this other travel site had redirected me here to cheap flights without my knowledge. By the time I realized it. It was too late. I had purchased a plane ticket here. Waited for a while to receive email confirmation on my flight. I received none. I had to go back and navigate the Cheap Flights Fares website to find assistance through customer service. And the hassle began. I had to find the chat to chat to a virtual agent to assist me. First the agent told me my credit card didn't go through and that's why I hadn't received the confirmation. The money cleared my bank. Then the agent told me my card had gone through. (So did it, or didn't it?) Then the agent told me they would have to personally confirm the flight. SMH. I thought after you make the purchase for the plane ticked it should automatically confirm and provide you with your flight confirmation. In this instance they had to do it manually for some reason. This entire fiasco took me approximately over an hour to purchase a plane ticket. Which should have taken me minutes. I would not have purchased the ticket here had I known I had been redirected to a 3rd party site. I was sent a survey to describe my customer experience. I gave the service two stars. Then an agent contacted me asking if I could please change my rating to a 4 star. WHAT? THE AUDACITY ! Yup, they were serious. I told the agent the rating matches the service. And even though I did get the issue resolved and I got my flight confirmation. It was a complete hassle to purchase a ticket. And to make things worse, the company kept calling me to persuade me to change my rating to a 4 star. I posted my true customer experience. May be someone else had better one. But not me. After all this fiasco I was obliged to share this. And did I mention they charged me an additional $17.11 to go through this third party web site. So I paid $17.11 to go through this fiasco. My Google reviews have over 11.7 Million views. And that is because I don't lie to my readers about my true customer experience. They rely on my unbiased opinion on goods and services. And this experience my friends, was not a great purchase experience. It should be exciting to book a trip. Not stressful.

Negative experience: Very difficult to cancel. I placed a $5 hold for 24 hr on an expensive international flight. A few hours later, the flight was booked without my approval (I was told, "due to a software glitch") and charged to my credit card. When I tried to cancel it, I was sent to one phone number after another, and each person tried to talk me out of canceling or into booking another flight with them. I finally got to a supervisor who spoke from the same script, but eventually (after repeated requests to "just cancel the flight," it got done. Never again.

Instead of trying to appease your disappointed and upset customers for not honoring the booking, you have the guts to float conspiracy theory and disproving customer claims, even threatening your customers with invalid reporting! Negative experience: This airline travel agency is a scam! Do not book. My wife booked a flight for a pair of seats and they lied and called and said only one ticket was booked. We called to change the flight and they booked us on a flight when we specifically asked for the same day, but they booked us on a different day. Out of frustration we called back to cancel and they lied about and and they would not take no for an answer. Finally my wife just said interrupted them every time they said give us an other chance, give me my money back. Waiting on our rerun, we will dispute it with the credit card company if needed.

Negative experience: My fellow travelers. I booked a flight and received: Booking status: Confirmed. Payment being processed. I got multiple calls later for upselling options and that my flight is not confirmed and overbooked. I was not able to get a clear answer if I have confirmed flight or not. This never happened to me before. (I travelled hundreds of times). They started hustling me with all kind of changes to the flight and the charges those changes would come with. Ridiculous. Update: I was called back multiple times, once I posted my experience and was offered a worthless coupon in exchange for removal. I apologized and told them that my integrity is not for sale.

Negative experience: Gerald and Vinny has shown HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. When calling a company in which you're doing business with and they hang up on you for their negligence is never a good indicator. I received a booking for a flight with a confirmed status but no boarding pass. I call regarding the boarding pass and they first say it's handle. Then when I do not receive the requested boarding pass for the booking, I get instructed to get the pass printed from the airline counter. When doing so, they say the flight was never booked but I have no confirmation of the flight being cancelled or the booking refund being issued back. Now this company has called a horrible domino affect causing my child to go unattended and with no return compensation. This is the worse company I ever dealt with as they simply do not even follow their own Terms and Conditions. Stand clear of this, they will SCAM YOU

They made claims with no validation and then told me I did confirm while fares were available, but they processed it 4 hrs later and the rate is double now. If I want the tickets I have to pay the higher price. Could not speak to a supervisor. Was told the policy was I have to wait for a call back. I could take it or leave it.

But second time I bought the ticket from another representative from same website he wrote my first name as last and my last name as First. Because of this confusion my flight got missed . Had to catch other day . Also second time they never emailed me regarding my ticket number or anything. This website gives its own Traveling ticket which airline has no clue of . Be very careful and watchful buying from this website. Agents r not properly trained.

Negative experience: They do not explain everything clearly. I didn't know that my flight ticket was non refundable and no airline credit as well if I cancel. Unfortunately I had to cancel the trip due to my son getting sick unexpected. Called United and they said I had booked through united directly I would have got travel credit. These guys will not do anything, I called them.

Negative experience: I don't even want to give them one star. I got to the airport to find out my tickets had been canceled. So I had to call them and they couldn't tell me why they got canceled and the only option they gave me was a later flight or a refund. I bought the tickets back in April. So I hung up and went to the ticket counter and told Delta what was going on and she put me on a flight for 7:44pm my original flight would have taken off at 6:40am. That is why I got a hotel close to the airport. I got my tickets and then had to pay for my checked bag that I had already paid for through this company. I had to get an Uber back to house and pay that fee. I wrote them email and they have not responded so I wouldn't go through this company. They won't make it right and will mess up your vacation plans.

I had apparently made a typo in the email address I included in the booking and spoke with the rep Brooks and they were able to immediately get that updated and send me the e-ticket instantly. Negative experience: When I was booking my flight originally, the top banner in bright green said that there was "free cancellation for 24 hours" with no fees associated at all by calling their customer support line. I wasn't sure that it was the flight that I wanted, but I went ahead and booked it with that guarantee at the front of my mind. I found a different flight and decided to use the free 24 hour cancellation. Upon calling the line, I was told that there was going to be a $250 cancellation fee even though I was cancelling within 3 hours of the original booking. The customer service agent was condescending and repeatedly told me that on a later page in fine print at the very bottom, they say that there may be a fee for cancellation, but does not specify any amount. Apparently the bright green banner at the beginning of the booking process is just completely false. After a long, frustrating call where I attempted to point out the complete contradiction and false advertising of the free 24 hour cancellation, they did finally waive the cancellation fee for me, but the customer service representative very rudely insisted that it was a one time exception and that I misunderstood their deliberately deceptive and confusing policies and was therefore in the wrong.

Negative experience: Absolute scam. They advertise one price then when you call to confirm they tell you that price that you book is no longer available and try to do a bait and switch. Then without your authorization charge your credit card unauthorized amounts. Thankfully my bank was alerted me to this after they rudely hung up on me when I wasn’t agreeing to the price change. Book directly through the airlines or through vetted agencies avoid Cheap Flights Fares at all costs if you don’t want to deal with a bait and switch and possibly losing your money.

Fantastic experience: My husband, Louis Tancredi went on cheap flights to book a round trip ticket for me with ITA from JFK to Rome and back. Due to an apparent technical glitch, when I got the reservation confirmation, it had his name, and my middle name as the passenger name instead of mine. I called to point out the problem and I was told that the ticket could not be rewritten with ITA at the same price and was offered another airline. I did not feel that this was right, since the mistake was not ours. The gentleman I spoke to was Stan. Stan asked me to hold on while he tried to see what could be done. Stan was able to have the mistake corrected and was able to rewrite the ticket for the same airline at the same price and for the same days and times. Stan was professional and helpful and I highly commend him. Providing good customer support is what makes a company successful and having competent and helpful people like Stan who understand that is what insures their success.

Fantastic experience: I received great support from Travel Expert Scout today. I had booked a flight back in February and was putting together the final details for our trip later this week when I realized I had not received our e-tickets. I used the online Chat feature and was connected to Scout. After verifying my identity and booking, Scout was able to email the tickets to me. Easy, efficient and very much appreciated!
