Negative experience: I want to start by saying that our pilot was amazing and the views were incredible! However, the helicopter felt cramped and looked old on the inside. With four average-sized adults in the back seat, we were squeezed together, meaning only the two people on the ends could fully enjoy the stunning scenery and take great photos. My friends from Germany were particularly excited about this trip, especially considering the high cost and the advertisements that promised breathtaking views. I felt embarrassed knowing we had planned this incredible experience, only to be let down by the company's greed. We did file a complaint, but they only partially refunded two of us, despite the fact that three tickets were purchased as a group (that's another story). I cannot recommend this company; they promise more than they deliver.

Fantastic experience: Everything was first class. Nice crew running things. Never felt belittled by not knowing where to go and do. They made it all pretty clear. Our pilot was awesome too. I can’t remember her name but you can’t miss her. Never seen a heli pilot that pretty. Don’t let the looks fool you. She can fly that bird as well as anyone. Would definitely use them again!!

Fantastic experience: I booked this flight online with little research and went into it with a little hesitation. It was AMAZING! From the shuttle picking us up from the hotel, to the staff in the waiting area, and our amazing captain. Everything felt so safe and it made the experience very enjoyable. Our captain was awesome the whole experience was amazing. When I was booking this experience, someone commented “don’t think, just do it” and that is exactly what I was thinking the whole time. I would go back again in a heartbeat. Just do it!!

Negative experience: Transportation was 50 min late. I called twice and they said they will be there any minute. The third time I requested my $20 transportation fee back so I could Uber to the location. The women who was very nice said she couldn’t do that without talking to her boss first who wasn’t there. Use a more professional agency instead of these bozos.

Positive experience: Flying over the Grand Canyon was a great experience. GC Flight as a company was okay. Only complaints are one of our headsets didn't work and the "professional" pilot solicited tips which was a little cringe worthy. Other than that it was a good tour and I would do it again.

Negative experience: Cancelled our flight while we were literally on their bus at 05:20AM. Honeymoon ruined. Not even an apology. Edit: I see their reply below. If you’re responsible for booking excursions then it’s your responsibility to an ensure there is sufficient cover. You didn’t do this. As for me not giving you time to apologise, you are lying. I made this post after speaking to your agent. You have ignored my wife’s email requesting a refund yet were very fast to request money in the other direction. Your organisation is vile. Check you instagram and enjoy the ride

Negative experience: Took my husbands parents for a bucket list trip to grand canyon. Pilot was great but not water no lunch no champagne and no apologies. Manager came out had lunches in bags after fight said here you go. I will give you 10 off all i can do. 2300 and some change. Thanks for 40 off. Gave me a number to another place where a lady told me other manager was not available. So in other words after brief hold she didnt want to take the call. So she gave me another email to send something on Monday 2300 for an experience with my elderly parents. Again no water etc which was promised now sitting in the lobby with no apologies.. I would expect a helicopter tour company would have better attention to detail with flying people around the canyon in helicopters. Im sure there is a check list for everything I just wonder what else could have been missed

Negative experience: Booked this flight for myself, husband and daughter. Fully paid up, confirmation email received. Shuttle bus arrived but our names weren't on the list. Upshot of it is, (supposedly), we had been given a slot on 28th August not 20th as stated on confirmation email. We were offered an eve on either of the other two eves we're here but we already had other things booked up. In fairness we were offered a morning flight but we wanted to see the sunset. Anyone booking might want to clarify dates. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.

Fantastic experience: Oh my this made my husband so happy. I upgraded to the front seat and it was worth every penny! A beautiful experience. Especially to see the lights of the strip at night. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: My family and I had a terrible experience with GC Flight, and I would never book with them again. Booking a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon from the start was a disaster. I booked a tour for 3 of us at the beginning and I got a confirmation email from them that the tour was booked and locked in for that date. About 30 minutes later, I got an email from a lady named Leslie telling me "Unfortunately, the tour you selected is sold out". This was a red flag from the start because why would you let me book a tour for a specific date/time along with sending me a confirmation email and later telling me that it's sold out? However, she ended up finding another helicopter tour around the same weekend and gave me a discount of $100 for the inconvenience. Now after everything was booked, we began driving to the address they sent me for that day, and I even received a call from them saying that everything was good. When we got there, the lady at the front desk told us to step on a footprint that was on the ground to confirm our weight with what we entered online. After she took our weight, she CONFIRMED that we were all good and sent us to a side room to watch a safety video. 5 minutes into the safety video we got called to come back up to the front desk and there was a different lady who claimed she was the manager. She told us that two people in our party were OVERWEIGHT compared to the information that was given to them online and one person wouldn't be able to ride in the helicopter. This was a flat-out lie from the manager because how is the girl at the front desk going to confirm our weight and send us to go watch a safety video? When the manager went to the back to print out the paperwork for our refund, I asked the girl at the front desk if we were really overweight because that didn't sound right. She was honest and told us that we weren't overweight, however, the total weight of the helicopter had to be a certain amount and the helicopter seats 5 people. I personally feel that the other party either lied about their weight or they brought an extra person without adding them online and with us booking after them we got bumped off. Nonetheless, if that was the case GC Flight and the manager that I talked to that day should have been honest and come clean instead of straight-up lying and being really disrespectful. That manager was unprofessional and truly doesn't deserve to have the title "Manager" with how she handled the situation that day. I typically don't like writing reviews due to how time-consuming it is, but the experience was so bad that I had no choice but to come on here and type up this long review. If I could give them 0 out of 5 stars I truly would. This company is way too unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

Positive experience: this was a great experience; however, I did think we were dropping down to the banks of the river once we stopped there was nothing to see as you could not get to close to the edge to capture the river properly and a champagne picnic is a very loose term for a small plastic cup of sparkling and some peanuts and pretzels. We did enjoy the ride in and the view from the chopper, it was very scenic.

Fantastic experience: This trip was a rebook as it had to be cancelled in 2020 due to Covid shutdowns. It was for our son’s 21 birthday. He uses a wheelchair most of the time but with his dad’s help got right into the helicopter. The ride was fantastic. Our pilot was so knowledgeable and played great music. We had the best experience. Seeing the Grand Canyon from up above was a unique experience. This was a trip of a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: Booked Grand Canyon flight for two on the chat site from the UK, very easy and convenient booking and payment. Picked up on time at our hotel in a mini bus and taken out to the airfield for a short safety briefing. The pilot introduced herself to us along with three other people on our flight, headed out to the helicopter and had some pictures taken before boarding. The music being played and the commentary over the headphones was clear and informative along with the pilots added comments. Our flight was somewhat bumpy due to some strong wind gusts but the pilot put our minds at ease. I enjoyed it and have fly a lot in smaller helos in the US before so fun for me. The views and information was amazing and a chance to take many photos and videos from start to finish. I can recommend this trip and will do it again next time we visit maybe with the landing on the rim for a walk about.

Positive experience: Pros: great pilot, comfortable, nice views, champagne, additional time on our landing picnic including additional champagne Cons: got bumped from our helicopter because another flights helicopter had radio issues, were told (5) times it would only be “1 more hour” until we had a ride, our helicopter wouldn’t start after our first landing (see pros- this really didn’t disappoint me much) and did not get bottle service on our shuttle back to the hotel. Please note this was never promised- we just requested after the long day we had

Fantastic experience: Our helicopter ride through the canyon was amazing. Definitely the best way to get the best perspective of how huge it is. Our pilot was amazing. Super informative. Very close to Tusayan if you are staying there. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: It was the first time family visited the United States from Korea and chose for the right progress after much consideration. Thanks to the very kind pilot, the whole family was able to finish a pleasant and safe flight. I took pictures and videos in such a beautiful canyon, and my heart was overwhelmed by the grandeur I saw for the first time. Yes, the price is never cheap, but I highly recommend it if you really want to visit the Grand Canyon in a short time.

Fantastic experience: This review is for the Grand Canyon floor landing tour, pickup at the Excalibur hotel: as a (leisure) helicopter pilot, I cannot say enough good things about the equipment ($3,500,000 Eurocopters), the safety and the knowledge of the GCFlight pilots. This is an incredible tour, safe and fun and on the best equipment available. Our team still talks about the experience days after. Landing in the Canyon is simply incredible and far superior to prior "fly by" experiences we had. We recommend this tour with no reservations. The Best!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience. From the minute they pick you up, to the time you spend waiting for your helicopter, to the experience of the ride itself, FIVE STAR. Negative experience: Ronny or Ronnie the receptionist, was very rude and highly unprofessional when I spoke to him over the phone asking him if GC Flights also trains pilots or where/how I should go about learning how to fly locally. He sounded bothered and inconvenienced that I dare ask that question stating they just brokerage flights and hung up the phone on me after the question of pilot training before I could follow up with anything.

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough good things about this! The booking was easy, transportation arrived right on time at our hotel. This is a marvelous experience that I would recommend to anyone! The scenery on the way to the Grand Canyon is breathtakingly beautiful. But what made this experience so special was our pilot JIMMY!!! He was absolutely fantastic. He has the best personality, super easy-going, very informative, and funny as can be. He talked to the entire entire flight, giving us history about all the different landmarks and scenery, but it wasn’t the type of talking that annoyed you, it was warm and silly, and made the flight extremely enjoyable! Very smooth flying with excellent landings. My one and only complaint would have to be transportation. The person who picked us up From our hotel, to take us to the airport in Boulder city, where our flight was drive like a maniac. Speeding and swerving in and out of lanes, abrupt braking to the point it made me car sick. He was friendly just not a good driver!

Negative experience: I scheduled a helicopter ride to surprise my wife. She was ecstatic. We were downstairs 20 mins before the pick up tome and waited patiently and excited. Then the dispatcher calls with an attitude and tells me he'll give me 7 mins to get to another pick up point (that I have no idea where it was) so I tell him I'm unsure where that is.. he snaps back- well you have 7 mins. I've never dealt with someone so rude in my entire trip to Vegas. I was where we were told. It may have been a simple misunderstanding but the dispatcher could have been a little more understanding and not bark at me a time limit. My wife was literally crying.

Negative experience: Booked a helicopter flight about a week prior. Day of we got on the shuttle at Bellagio, as we were leaving the driver turned around and said the flight was cancelled and to call reservations about rescheduling. Reservations said they didn’t have any until a week later. For a company that runs on on tourism you’d think they’d understand people don’t have a week to wait. They also made no attempt to contact us prior to the cancelation and completely ruined our day, since we had to check out of our first hotel early in order to make it to the shuttle on time. Poor communication and experience overall.

Fantastic experience: We booked the flight late by phone because of personal circumstances. Our call was answered promptly and we were able to get a flight over the Grand Canyon and a stop on Fire mountain. Admin was efficient with confirmation by WhatsApp and text. Pick up from the hotel was on time in a quality vehicle. Slick procedures at the airport and a great pilot. I would highly recommend the company.

Fantastic experience: Such a great time for our 25th anniversary trip to the Grand Canyon. Mike "Mad Dog" Davis was absolutely AWESOME and had a great time and made memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to make lifelong memories and friends! Never found the park animals that were recommended and showers unfortunately were clear this trip (maybe next time Maddog!)

Negative experience: The flight was great. The pilot was great. The girls at the desk and the driver of the van are lacking. A girl handed out everyone's pictures without saying a word as if they were ours to keep and as we were leaving a different girl came and confiscated them, saying we had to pay. While returning ours, the girls were mocking other customers for refusing to pay $27 and then were angry with us when we took a picture of ours. The driver dropped us at our hotel and as soon as we got out of the van he cornered us with his hand out saying " I work for tips"! Maybe you should pay your drivers or let people drive themselves! I didn't get that option and I would of chosen it instead of having to go several hotels down from mine to be picked up at, just to be assaulted for tips. I'd more than likely choose a different company if I did another tour.

Fantastic experience: As a birthday surprise for my wife I purchased 3 seats for us and her best friend. After a brief safety check we were off. Our pilot was very patient and answered all of our questions as we flew over the vastness of Nevada and into Arizona. The views of Hoover Dam and Lake Meade were epic. Greater still was the majesty of the Grand Canyon highlighted by our landing in the canyon and the breathtaking views. If there is a better way to see the Grand Canyon I would love to know. It was quite an emotional experience and we really felt more in tune with the beauty of our world after our experience with our Maverick excursion.

Positive experience: Place was great, clean and up to date on tech but wasn't what I thought it would be. I've been on many helicopter tours over the states and none like this ride. We weren't allowed to use our phones, we could not take pics in front of helicopter because it was against policy. If you wanted a photo you had to pay and it was just a back drop not the actual scenery. Lastly, they assigned seats by weight so I couldn't even sit next to my mother on the tour.

From the get-go, registering for tickets, getting confirmation emails, booking our flight tour, etc. everything went smooth, and the communication was great with GC Flight! Our pilot made this tour! He was personable, kind, and humorous. Great taste in music too. Even though I got a bit dizzy and nauseous on the way there, our pilot suggested we sit up front on our way back, to get more of the circulating air that was more prevalent and would help with the nauseousness. It worked! I had the best view of the area and didn't feel sick once! Thank you so much to that pilot for his empathy and customer service mindset! If the other pilots have the same approach and mindset, a big kudos GC Flight's HR Hiring Team! This tour was the great way to end our trip to Vegas!

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see the Grand Canyon but on a tight time schedule. Fair warning, you don't actually see the most beautiful part of the Grand Canyon because I don't think helicopter landings are allowed there in the National Park. But it's still a great time.

Fantastic experience: An exceptional journey. We told the expiration for my 40th birthday and the ride into the Grand Canyon was amazing. Amazing staff and such a cool way to see the Grand Canyon from a different perspective. We flew out the approximate 45 minutes with the two of us in the front with the pilot and three other passengers in the back seat. Once you land the provide you with a little snack and champagne toast. I highly recommend this as a part of your next trip to Las Vegas.

Fantastic experience: EVERYONE was friendly and courteous. I booked our GC helicopter floor landing tour online early one morning (eastern time) and within minutes, someone from their facility called me ( it was like 5am her time) to confirm the trip. I was impressed. They send emails with instructions on when and where to be picked up. Their website is very informative. Zach was our pilot and was a great sport. He did a great job explaining everything. It was AMAZING and worth it. There were a few let downs, but that's not 100% their fault. Depending on your seat (they weigh you at check in and then assign seats) depends on your view. I was in the back, 2 seats in, my views were not what I was hoping for, BUT, I still got some amazing photos and there are no words to describe the beauty you get to see. I wish we were given more time to explore. The picnic was adorable. Don't be a gross human and leave your trash and cigarette butts scattered about. Your return route is different, wish we knew that ahead of time as I was hoping to get more pictures of what I missed on the way in. I understand due to flight routes and rules, but a heads up would be nice. Still, 100% would do it again. AMAZING!

Fantastic experience: It was our first time in a helicopter and we had a great flight. Our pilot was friendly and helped make the trip fun and educational. I would definately recommend this trip to anyone that is considering it. This was the highlight of our trip to Vegas.

Fantastic experience: The entire experience was seamless! From booking, to shuttle pick up, meeting the pilot and fellow passengers, landing etc. The service exceptional, the staff professional and friendly. The pilot made us feel safe and well looked after, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope to fly with them again in future. My friend and I did the red rock canyon tour within Vegas, if you want a longer and more breath taking experience, which maybe a little more expensive, I'd say do the grand canyon.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing way to see the Grand Canyon. The experience was flawless. From the booking to the check in and then the flight, GC hit all the marks. My wife was panicked, but once we landed and she felt safe, she had a smile from ear to ear. I highly recommend this excursion!!

Fantastic experience: I surprised the wife with a trip up the Grand Canyon, and both of us rate it as one of the best experiences of our lives. Riding in an helicopter was on her bucket list, seeing Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon this way made it the more memorable. The pilot was very knowlegable about the history and region, and the excellent noise-cancelling headphones made hearing him very easy. We plan to go back and enjoy the canyon floor flight next year.

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our flight over the Grand Canyon, Lake Meade and Hoover Dam as well as a stop at the glass bridge. The views are stunning and definitely the highlight of our trip to Vegas. Thanks for adding this last minute trip we would definitely recommend it was everything we expected and more.

Fantastic experience: From the time I called to set up our ride , to the time our ride was complete, GC Flight/Maverick was a TOTAL CLASS outfit to deal with!!!! Set up was simple, and two calls with questions leading up to the ride were all done by an amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Then the flight. TRUELY AMAZING!!! GREAT PILOT!!! Smooth Flight, with the pilot making sure everything we were taking in , was explained along the way. Meeting others from around the world added even more to the adventure.(We are from Mass. and the other 4 guests, were retired grandparents w/their 2 grandsons from Australia). The Canyon- The Dam -The People - and The Champagne toast while on the ground in the canyon made for a memory that is in many pictures, but will never leave our minds. Knowing we would be visiting Las Vegas in Sept. , I promised my wife when we got married in June of this year, that this would be my wedding gift to her. This was the best gift, I could ever give to her and to myself.

Fantastic experience: The trip was a bucket list for me, but my wife just came along because she wanted to let me have my experience. However, she now raves about how the experience changed her life!!! When we landed in the Valley of Fire and could see millions-of-years-old ocean fossils under our feet, it was an amazing experience of this human adventure on this amazing planet! The whole thing was an amazing experience. Definitely worth the money.

Fantastic experience: If you are thinking of doing a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon then GC Flight comes highly recommended. They picked us up from our hotel and the flight was just so amazing, Our pilot was Mad Dog Mike AKA Captain Crunch is what he told us. Lots of fun and knowledge. We will defiantly do this again.

Fantastic experience: After another local tour company was very rude about my weight I looked into other options and found these beautiful people. Empathetic and very accommodating about my size (415 pounds) and extremely professional across the board. Bucket list experience in an efficient time frame. (Left and returned to hotel in about 3 hours) HIGHLY RECOMMEND, TY GCFLIGHT!

Positive experience: Beautiful views of the strip at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is a short flight and will go by fast! Where I sat I didn’t have the best view of the strip like my fellow passengers but still a cool experience.
