Fantastic experience: I have been using vacations for 15+ years. Many occasions during my trips things do not work out as planned, and V2Go just jump in and do whatever they can to help us. I selected them for their excellent web browser interface and best pricing but stayed with them for their service. I will cite two examples, but they did help in countless number of time. 1) we are on a Norway cruise, and there is a descripency between onboard credit on our booking and cruise line record. I found out on Christmas Eve. My agent at v2go was on vacation. I sent a message to Alan, and he replied within minutes letting me know that he has assigned the case to the specialist Anthony A. In half an hour, Anthony sent me an email acknowledging the mistake, took my home address, and told me that he was writing me the check right away for the difference !!!!! Did I say it was Christmas Eve ... 2) we were on South America/Antartica cruise, and the room was right below the kitchen. Working with cruiseline did not help, and finally, a message to Alan got us a new room. There are a few other examples but wrote enough for now ....
Fantastic experience: This was my first experience with Vacations to Go. It has been amazing. Karl was my selling agent. When he was out of the office, I received assistance from Turner and Kathleen. Karl has gone over and above to assist me. I was speaking with him one day and I was disappointed that the tours I was interested in booking on the Azores was sold out. He informed me that we could book a "bucket list" tour via Vacations to Go. He walked me through each step and now I'll be swimming with the dolphins! I've never taken an Oceania Cruise before but I'm very excited about it. I hope to continue using VTG in the future and Karl O. is my guy!
Negative experience: Misleading Pricing and Poor Service My experience with Vacations to Go was beyond disappointing. Their claim of offering the "best deals" is deceptive and misleading. During booking, their portal displayed a price but didn’t specify if it was in USD or AUD. As an Australian, I assumed the price was in AUD, but I was later charged in USD—effectively three times the expected amount. I felt completely scammed by their lack of transparency and misleading pricing practices. When I contacted customer service, they claimed all payments were processed in USD, a critical detail they failed to disclose during the booking process. Instead of addressing my concerns, they directed me to the cruise line, which couldn’t help since the booking was made through Vacations to Go. To make matters worse, I couldn’t access the services I had paid for during the first three days onboard. This caused immense frustration and ruined the start of my vacation. Their solution? A mere 5% credit for a future booking—a token offer that did nothing to address the financial loss or inconvenience I endured. Vacations to Go’s actions feel like a deliberate scam targeting international customers. Avoid this agency if you value fairness, honesty, and transparency. They’ve permanently lost my trust.
Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with Vacations Go. The agent sold me an overpriced package without clearly explaining the details. I later discovered the same package went on sale for Black Friday, and the agent failed to inform me this could happen, even though it was just a few weeks away. This lack of transparency and poor communication is completely unacceptable. I feel misled and overcharged. I would not recommend booking through this service if you value honesty and proper guidance. Feel free to adjust it further based on your experience!

Please know that all sales and promotional pricing are set by the cruise lines and travel suppliers we represent, not Vacations To Go. While Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials are common, we do not know what the prices will be in advance, if it will apply to your particular departure date, or if the offer will be better than the one you have already booked. There is risk involved in waiting to see how prices may fluctuate. I can assure you that we will always secure the best available deal at the time you contact us to reserve your trip. That said, I'm afraid I don't have enough information to locate your reservation in our system. Fantastic experience: I've been cruising with vacationstogo.com since retiring. My cruise consultant, Joe Villegas, is very thorough and easy to work with. As a value shopper, I find the 90 day ticker to be the starting point for all my cruising plans and makes taking 3 or 4 trips a year incredibly affordable, I can see how with some careful planning, folks can book almost continuous voyages. The most appealing feature is being able to compare multiple cruise lines, dates, itineraries and prices all on a single page. They also provide access to excursion companies at competitive prices to a ships offerings. VTG, will save you money and stream line your vacation planning, I recommend them and Joe V, 100%

Negative experience: Booked a cruise on VTG from a recommendation of a friend who already booked. We had different agents (unbeknownst to me). Two days before final my agent (Angelica Seymour) called to say final had gone up $300 due to a port tax increase. She said if I did not pay up front it would be put on my on board bill. I paid. A few days later I asked my friend if her final had gone up. She said it went DOWN $250 because her agent looked at unadvertised sales for a better price. We had both booked over a year in advance. When I confronted Angelica with this info she said I had got the “best price available”. I consulted her manager Payton Bergh and got the same story. He said that my friend must have booked after taxes went up. I said she booked before me. He said he needed her name to investigate which I gave him after ok’ing with her. After several days he replied that I had gotten the “best price at time of booking” and my friend did not receive any additional discounts. When I asked how that was possible since her final went down I got no response at all. I have been cruising for 30+ years and never had a confirmation price been raised. I went on several FB pages of cruisers and asked if this had ever happened to them. I got a resounding NO. I even went to a page devoted to the particular cruise I booked. No one had their price raised although several commented that this could not happen. I know many have been pleased with VTG but thanks to Ms Seymour and Mr Bergh I will never use this company again.
Mr. Easley, thank you for your feedback. I'm very sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction with the increase in government taxes for your booking. While this is by no means a routine occurrence, it can and does happen, entirely at the discretion of the local port governments along your itinerary. Unfortunately, Vacations To Go has no influence over such a change, and Cunard is obliged to charge you the balance, whether in advance or onboard. I can't personally speak to the experiences of any fellow travelers you may have spoken with online, but our managers have confirmed the accuracy of the increased pricing on both bookings involved. It appears your friends were able to take advantage of a Vacations To Go returning customer discount. That said, I have asked a manager to research this further and to contact you as soon as possible to discuss the matter further. Fantastic experience: We have used Vacations to Go on multiple occasions. Their website is the best in the market. It allows you to filter by vessel age , capacity, stars length of cruise price, cabin type and dates. Our consultant Brooke is helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are very competitive and we have never been disappointed with the price and service. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: These guys lied to me and told me I could cancel in 24 hours if I needed to when trying to coordinate with flights etc. I sent email asking to cancel they responded within 24 hours saying ok, then charged me. I spoke to Management who said they understood and then canceled which they did but I still got hit for about $1200 by Norwegian cruise lines. People are so unethical! Crazy world we live in. Never using Vacations to go again or Norwegian. Liars!!!!

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time. They are dishonest and at the end you end up paying a lot more for 1 service / products than you would booking elsewhere. Please don’t fall for the timeshare tricks.

Positive experience: Booked a cruise with Aurora. Completed a survey I was emailed. No response to my stated problem. Told Aurora 5 times to fix my name. She doesn't follow directions nor pays attention to details. Don't use her for bookings.

Negative experience: Update: We ended up getting the $25 per person. We were happy for that, but frustrated that the representative we spoke to could not figure that out. The representative that booked our cruise falsely told us that if we paid in full right away, we’d have a better chance to get the cabins we wanted. This was not true. When we spoke to a manager about the false info we were given, he compensated us with $25 per person in credits for the cruise. Days before the cruise, we learn it’s only $25 per cabin. We will never book with this company again. They are dishonest.

Negative experience: The pricing on the site has been wrong twice now. When I try to book the price is always higher. This site is false advertising and it makes me wonder what else is inaccurate. Would not use them as they can not be trusted.

Our site does not reflect live inventory, and the single occupancy rates are not updated automatically the way other prices are, so our travel counselors must verify pricing with the cruise line when you call to book. Fantastic experience: I am sure that my wife and I booked at least a dozen cruises over the past 10 years through Vacations To Go. We have five upcoming cruises, all booked through Vacations To Go. Through them, we booked cruises on Cunard, Celebrity, Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Disney. The travel agent we worked with originally was Ringo Johnson; after he got promoted within the company, we've been working with Darla Chow. In every case without exception, we received exceptional support. They always answer our questions quickly. Any issues we've had, they've addressed. When you book a cruise through Vacations To Go (VTG), the information provided is detailed and absolutely tells you everything you need -- you just have to read it. VTG also assisted us with arranging two family cruises to date, involving linked reservations and adjoining cabins - no issues. VTG also ensures we get all discounts and special offers that we are eligible for. Bottom line, we've had zero disappointments and zero difficulties over many, many years of working with Ringo and Darla from VTG. All our experience, through many years and many bookings, is that VTG is a very reliable travel agency to work through for cruise bookings.

Negative experience: I have been trying to contact my cruise advisor for 10 days he will not return calls or answer his phone we had a issue on cruise day which was our fault however was told we could recoup our taxes and tips I prepaid….. I have called Narrada 8 times and no response Will not use this company ever again

Negative experience: We were charged extra $1500 without our permission, and zero help from their customer service. Do not book through Vacations To Go. Find your cruise and then book through the cruise ship company directly. It's the same price. We booked from Vacations To Go and were upgraded to a higher priced cabin without our knowledge. By the time we realized what had happened, they had our deposit and the original cabins we wanted were not available for the price they quoted. For their illegal action, they gave us $100 on board credit. No refund no waiver of cancellation fee. We would have taken onboard credit in equal value of fraud, but the best they can do is %10 from our next booking. Thanks but no thanks. Don't book through Vacations To Go. Responding to Vacations To Go reply: We never ever requested to have both cabins to be beside each other, the travel specialist asked if we would like too. We said sure, but would have never ever said yes if we were told that the price is %35 more now. We are all adults and don't need any supervision. The customer service rep we spoke to also agreed that it was the travel specialist's fault that she didn't advise us about the price increase. We expected to have our $ refunded or at minimum, $300 per person onboard credit, not %10 off our next booking. I wouldn't trust this company to keep there word anyway.

I see that your travel companion, Ms. Davis, made all the plans for the cruise, including obtaining pricing and discussing cabin locations with your travel counselor. Ms. Davis has also spoken to a couple of our managers, who have done their best to explain what took place in great detail. The price Ms. Davis saw on our website was for a balcony guarantee, which means the cruise line chooses the cabin category and location. We nor the customer have any influence over where the cruise line assigns the cabins. Guarantee cabins are often the least expensive option due to the lack of customer input over cabin location. In your case, Ms. Davis requested cabins next door to one another. When a customer requests a specific cabin category, location, or type (such as connecting or side-by-side cabins), we must look for the next least expensive option. Your travel counselor sent the cruise totals to Ms. Davis in an email, which she viewed and agreed to before her credit card was charged for both cabins. As listed on our site and in the emailed quote she received, all prices are in U.S. Dollars, as we are a U.S. agency. We do offer a currency converter as a courtesy to our guests, though final conversion rates are determined by the credit card or bank Ms. Davis used. We apologize if any details concerning your cruise, the price, currency, and conversion rates were not communicated to you clearly after they were given to Ms. Davis. As a courtesy for any miscommunication or misunderstanding that may have taken place, we have generously offered some onboard credit and a discount on a future cruise booked with Vacations To Go. We hope that despite your negative impression, you and your travel partners have a wonderful time on the cruise. Negative experience: I went on a trip to Belize in March 2024. I booked everything through Vacations to Go, which was my first time using the service. NEVER AGIN. I was stuck in Charlotte because the aircraft had mechanical issues, which caused me to need a refund for my resort fees. On the last day of my trip, I spent 4 hours going back and forth with the manager of the resort about my transportation to the airport. The travel agent through Vacations To Go wasn't any help. Then she told me she would processed the refund request for me. After sending her all of the documentation and waiting for a week, it wasn't until I spoke with a supervisor that I was told, "I had to process the claim myself". They contract with Trip Mate--a company that has a pending lawsuit against them for not issuing refunds. As of today, July 1, 2024, I haven't received my refund and Vacations To Go isn't assisting.

I would like to ask you if you have any specific and concrete ways to restore my confidence in you. Otherwise, I dare not do business with you next time. Fantastic experience: T.J. Garris, with vacations to go, is a God send. He has been helping me with a vacation of a lifetime to Scotland. First vacay ever, first time out the country. He has made the experience calming and has taken so much stress out of the process. Arrangement's even for an extra day. Positive experience: We use Vacations to go all the time. Must have booked 12 cruises with them. Like anything, compare prices but they've been reliable. The only thing I wouldn't do book insurance through them. We did a few times, and the only time we needed to use it... it was a headache. Get third party insurance (AAA) if you don't have insurance through your work. We use Nellie Nelson at Vacations to go and have had good experiences.

Negative experience: Called to get a price Just now spoke to it at this very minute. Cannot give me one and then just dropped the phone with no problem. I think he's over his pay grade and should be put down in the dish room. Really have no time for games when we're spending almost $4000 per person. Terrible Customer service‼️

Fantastic experience: If you're a regular customer they treat you quite well. I've had them be very accommodating ask for a bottle of wine each time I go somewhere and when I've had problems they've helped me on there and try to rectify them. I have probably used them over 15 times for cruises and find their prices to be the best.

Negative experience: Warning: Poor Service Experience with Vacations To Go as well as, Carnival Cruise Line I regret to inform potential travelers about my profoundly disappointing experience with Vacations To Go. Despite my earnest efforts to book a cruise for my family, I have been met with utter negligence and incompetence from Carnival Cruise Line and Vacations To Go staff. After purchasing tickets for a Carnival Liberty cruise through Vacations To Go in January, my family eagerly anticipated our departure. However, upon arriving at the dock with all necessary identification but without printed boarding passes, we were shockingly denied boarding. Despite assurances from Carnival Cruise Line-Liberty staff that our documentation sufficed, we were abruptly informed that passengers were no longer being accepted. The ordeal devolved into a fruitless back-and-forth with supervisors, leaving my family stranded and bewildered. To add insult to injury, it appeared that preferential treatment was given to another family, arriving later yet allowed to board. This blatant favoritism suggests a deeply concerning lapse in professionalism and fairness within Carnival Cruise Line. The financial toll of this debacle is significant, with thousands of dollars wasted on tickets, flights, and preparations. Moreover, the emotional toll is immeasurable, particularly considering my ailing step-mother's anticipation of this trip. I am appalled by the apparent injustice and mistreatment we endured at the hands of Carnival Cruise Line and Vacations To Go's personnel. It is evident that our trust was gravely misplaced, tarnishing what should have been a joyous family vacation. I implore prospective travelers to exercise caution when considering Vacations To Go for their travel needs. We were not giving boarding passes to the email provided. We were never contacted by Carnival Liberty Cruise Line or Vacations To Go before the departure of our "room number" the staff was adamant we needed in order to board the ship. All we had in our email was from Vacations To Go receipt of payment. I even logged onto my account at Vacations To Go for more information or boarding passes the Carnival staff was asking for, and nothing was there. Our harrowing experience serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting the company's disregard for customer satisfaction and basic decency. I did reach out to my travel agent via email being that I was unable to reach him via phone. I left numerous voice messages with no answer until we were at the terminal attempting to board the ship. He suggested a "note" to be sent to the captain informing him of the incompetency that was being displayed at boarding by Carnival staff. We spent 50 minutes at the dock going back and forth with Carnival staff before watching our paid-in-full cruise ship sail away without us. We were devastated. There was nothing more to do but to turn around and spend the week in Orlando with no prearranged plans, so that was an unexpected fortune by-the-way. I also reached out to Carnival Cruise Lines describing the ordeal and was told "sorry" all is lost because I failed to buy into the "Carnival Vacation Protection Program". We never heard anything back from Vacations To Go. Our trip was for March 25th 2024. The same day Carnival Freedom returned to Port Canaveral after being struck by lightening. I urge those reading this review to heed my warning and think twice before entrusting their travel arrangements to Vacations To Go and Carnival Cruise Lines. The dream vacation they promise may very well turn into a nightmare of disappointment and regret.
Ashley, we are truly sorry to hear that you were denied boarding for your Carnival cruise. We understand how disappointing this must’ve been for your family after looking forward to this cruise since January. The Vacations To Go cruise confirmation emailed to you by your travel counselor states "Carnival requires all guests to check in online, beginning 14 days prior to embarkation. Online check-in must be completed at least 3 days before sailing, or you may be denied boarding." Online check in was also discussed with you during a phone call with your travel counselor when he recapped the details of your cruise upon booking. Once the online check in has been completed, electronic boarding passes are issued by the cruise line, which can be printed or displayed on your smartphone at the pier. The Vacations To Go cruise confirmation displays a green button which links you to Carnival's site to complete this online check in, and we’re very sorry if you did not see this button or verbiage when viewing the confirmation. We also apologize for any lapses in communication from your travel counselor following this situation, and we have asked a manager from our office to follow up with you to discuss this further. We're sorry again for the disappointment your family experienced, and someone from our office will be in touch with you shortly.

Fantastic experience: We have used VTG since 2019. Such an easy webpage to navigate with all major international cruise lines listed! We have sailed or have future bookings on P&O (2), Oceania, Royal Caribbean, MSC (2), Carnival, Holland America, and Cunard (2). Our Master Cruise Counselor, Milo Moon, is a wealth of knowledge and very efficient. When COVID hit, Milo did great damage control while keeping us informed of cancellations and future cruise credits. When Milo gives us a quote, he already know our preferences and are included. Negative experience: I would give zero if I could. From the onset of dealing with Chauncey Stewart I should have know I would not get return calls or any great customer service the minute I had to hang up on him for his poor attitude. Then I had a horrible 1st cruise and have been emailing and leaving messages like crazy. Nothing returned. Also emailed Payton Bergh still nothing. The customer service is just lacking. You are promised the world when they want your money but when you pay it all upfront then they have your money and they don't care! I will not recommend them to anyone until they show me that the customer matters!

Fantastic experience: This is a website that lists cruise lines that are offering discounts. You can check out different lines, ships, itineraries etc. I didnt go to an actual place. This website does offer great discounts. We had a junior suite for a two week cruise with Royal Caribbean. It was an older ship, but we don't need water slides and 50 different restaurants. One guy said that his drink package on an earlier cruise was more than the actual cruise by using vacationstogo. Check this site out if you're thinking about a cruise. It will save you money. It is easy to browse and you can talk to a cruise planner if you have questions.

Fantastic experience: I love the Kaufman Nail (KN) salon! The staff is always pleasant and professional. The salon/bathroom is always immaculate! They have an extensive variety of services and always offer drinks (water, soda, and wine). I am usually seated upon arrival and finished within an hour (reg dip/gel mani-pedi). They always do an outstanding job on my hands & feet. You can also save money by collecting points during each visit and using them to pay your bill! There's 3 other salons less than a minute from this one, and I obtained brochures from each. I tried KN 1st b/c of the variety of services and have not had a reason to go elsewhere. I highly recommend the KN salon.
Negative experience: This company is horrible they hired me on a guarantee monthly of 3750 per month. I went to HR and told them that I was losing my home and they called me in the office the next day and told me that I was not a good fit and fired me. I called the next day and they told me that I could pick up my check when I came in they paid me less than half of my guarantee 574.00. I have no corrective action, never late and no one told me what I did wrong I reached out to the CEO Emerson to make him aware of how I have been treated but he never returned my call. These are some horrible people

Fantastic experience: A good site to look for cruises. I love the fact that you can just enter the port of interest and it shows you all the dates and cruise lines sailing that port. In my case, I searched Greenland and now I am going there without the high airfare cost and the convenience of the cruise. The airfare to Greenland is same as the 11 day cruise out of KEF!

Negative experience: Ask Questions on the Travel Protection and when credits can be used to reschedule a trip!!! The agent I used did not give a thorough explanation of the use of the travel credits available when you purchase the insurance. When I had to change the dates, I immediately rescheduled the trip and then did not get the travel credits applied as they stated it takes 30 days to process the credit. I have to pay for the vacation out of pocket which caused me to have to pay for basically 2 vacations through this company as I now have travel credits with them for a future vacation I never planned on taking that have to be used by 6/2025.

Negative experience: I asked to be booked on a cruise, in suite, just like they booked us on before. Trusting the sales person, I let him book us. A week later, I got to looking at the room he booked us in. It was a suite but it was 1/2 the size, on the back of the boat where the kids are and facing the interior of the ship. I told him I didn't want to pay for that type of room. He was able to move us to a junior suite, but it was still 1/2 the size and we don't get the same treatments as the suite room I wanted in the first place. I asked for a refund and they told me the $1270 was non refundable. I will not be doing business with this company again. I would have never paid for a room of this caliber in the first place had it been properly explained!

Negative experience: I will never use this company again. I didn't want to use a company like this but was forced to because of a trip I planned to go on. I canceled my reservation and all of a sudden I was told that neither Vacations To Go nor FunJet will refund all my money. I told Leigh-Ann Marciniak that I did not understand what was explained to me and she threatened to pull the recorded line tape, which I encouraged her to do. Plus, my friend who is hosting said he didn't fully understand the policy. Long story short, I ended up getting a small refund because the companies services were useless to me. I will NEVER use Vacations To Go or FlunkJet because of their unscrupulous tactics. I have repeatedly asked Leigh-Ann for her managers contact info and she conveniently never seems to send it. Par for the (deceptive) course with this company and Leigh-Ann M.!

Fantastic experience: We previously booked cruise directly through cruise line, and this time, we decided to try with an agent. I talked to several agents, however, a common issue with some other travel companies is that you don’t have a dedicated agent, and each time it will be a different agent picking up the phone, so I had to repeat myself over and over. But vacation to go is different. I got a dedicated agent (harry) and he would tracks all our past communications. The price from vacations to go is the best, along with some OBC. Harry responded very fast to my requests and updates. Overall, I am very happy with the booking experience and highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Stopped in for lunch with a customer. Sat at the bar. Had the wings highly recommended by the bartender that has been here for 30 years. They were excellent. Nice size drums and flats. Hot Buffalo isn't really that hot but it is good. Tried the BuffaQue and it was great. Tasty Chicken Quesidilla and tangy fried pickles rounded out the meal....both very good. Nice atmosphere, friendly employees means I will be back!
Negative experience: This Was our first experience with Vacations To Go was with Curtis Slack, and always handled very well for our European cruise. I sent then have called Curtis to set up a few more trips to Europe. And I am receiving no response and getting no phone calls back. I’ve called him three times, I find that very disappointing. If he didn’t want to handle this trip then that’s all he had to say to us, instead of ignoring us, we find this very disappointing. We can take our business elsewhere.

Negative experience: Cruising in June w a group of 14. Planner advised there were specials if we booked same day. Tried when I got off but they close at 11pm as listed on website. Sent email before midnight to book. Once they called next day they advised I missed the special. I get it but when travelling w a larger group I KNOW exceptions can be made. Also, varying info depending on which agent you spoke with. One told a friend no o side cabins were left and could only book balcony or Oceanview. Very same day 20 min later the rep I spoke w advised inside cabins were available but no Oceanview! What?! Get your stories straight. Hope cruise is better then the info to date from Vacations To Go!

Negative experience: I accidentally booked a cruise through RCL directly! After putting down $500 deposit I could go go back to the actual cruise information, which I couldn’t do while the deposit page. The cruise was in August, I live in Florida and I’m well informed about hurricane season. A lot of the worst have been in August, so I canceled the booking and asked for a refund which they transferred to Vacationstogo. I talked to an agent called Ant at length with RCL on 3 way call. RCL agreed to the transfer. I emailed Ant at least 6 times and he never answered me, not once. This morning I talked to a customer service agent who was very nice. She told me that there was no cruise reserved or anything else. All I could do was book the cruise I wanted which is in June, another deposit and now I get an email for the cruise in August. I am 74 years old and this has been very frustrating and at this point I don’t have a clue as to fixing this. The reservation # 7846148. I spoke with Elma and tried to book the June 21st sailing and haven’t heard anything from her either. Anything you can do would be appreciated!

Fantastic experience: We have booked a few cruises over the past several years and my wife found Vacations to Go by reference from a friend who used them. We browse the LARGE list of available offerings thru the website and that is a maze in itself. When we decide on a list of desirable cruise numbers (each one has a number beside it's description) we then call and talk to one of their very helpful representatives. They will give you very helpful insights to each particular cruise line, the ship itself, the destinations and the available excursions and other amenities that make your experience very fulfilling. They can sometimes give you some advice on making the boarding and departure experience a little less trouble and they have lists of hotels near the terminal that will allow you to park in their lot and shuttle you to the terminal for your cruise. We have always had a very experienced and helpful representative, who guided us with ease thru the process and made our purchase very satisfying. All our cruises were prepandemic and I am just now considering booking another for the end of December, 2023. If I get it accomplished, I will post a few pics of the cruise experience and rate some places that I haven't ever had the privilege of visiting before. We are so spoiled in America and have luxuries that we can participate in beyond reason, I'm thankful for our life in the good ole USA!

Negative experience: This is the worst travel agency I have ever worked with . Do you know if you need to talk to someone about any issues you had that you have to send an email and wait 45 days for them to reply? Then after you wait they come back with some lame excuse saying they did an investigation and that they found NO water on the floors I slipped on . That’s funny I have pictures of the water on the floor and they still deny any responsibility ! They booked me on a ship that was due for repairs and should not have even been at sea then they just give you the run around saying their is nothing I can do. AND NEVER sail on Carnival Cruise Lines because the rooms were filthy with dirty linens, falling down shower curtains and the worst food I’ve ever eaten! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this place . NO DEALS here

Negative experience: I suggest that no one take out their Travel Insurance. I had a medical emergency and had to cancel a cruise. I filed the claim and am still being jerked around about missing documents etc. They never call or email the status of the claim. Save your money or go online and get a reputable Travel Insurer. The comapny that they use is Generali Global Assistance. Also, check out the Better Business Bureau ratings on this company. They are pathetic. Vacations to go is no help too.

We regret that Generali has not been more prompt in their communication, but we hope they are able to provide an update soon.
Fantastic experience: These guys are the largest cruise sellers in the world. Customer service is their staple. They have direct access to all cruise lines bookings engines and sometimes offer better prices and on board credits that cruise lines don’t offer. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: there was no option for zero stars. This is the absolute worst travel agency. I recently booked a cruise thru Vacations to Go. We simply asked for a European cruise with fine food fare because we are "Foodies." Vacations to Go placed us on a ship with cuisine equivalent to a $15 all you can eat buffet. The dining room dinner menu was the same only quality with limited choices. I also used Vacations to Go Shore Excursion who in 2 of the ports didn't show up without any advanced warning. I'm a senior citix=zen traveling with my family. I own an offshore fishing boat that sleeps 6 and have an inground pool at home. I didn't need to fly to Europe to be on a boat with a pool and suffer eating less than mediocre food. Essentially, I experienced the worst travel experience of my life and by day 2 my family and I were wishing that we were home. Vacations to Go blamed the ship and offered me 5% off my next Vacations to Go trip. If they gave me 50% off, I would never use Vacations to Go again and I warn anyone considering using this establishment. Their prices are no better than you can get elsewhere and their staff are NOT knowledgeable to recommend anything

The manager you've been working with will continue to provide updates as he has them, and we hope that your next cruise exceeds your expectations.

Negative experience: My girlfriend wanted to celebrate her birthday with a cruise and let us know about a deal through Vacations to Go that provided a $100 credit for double occupancy rooms if we booked one year in advance. Two of us agreed to go with her and share a room. We were only given a $50 credit. Make sure you read the fine print! From the time we booked until the day of our departure, the cruise removed one port resulting in 2 days at sea and removed our stop in Mexico and replaced it with a stop in Santa Barbara. I wouldn't have gone on the cruise if I had known about these changes when we booked the cruise. The Vacations to Go representative refused to communicate with the 3 of us, including the final survey which was only sent to one of us. Unfortunately, this friend doesn't check her emails regularly. We heard from the representative one day before our final payment was due and then he was on vacation. Fortunately the other representative who was covering for him was very thorough and communicated with each of us. I won't be booking any further travel plans with Vacations to Go.
Fantastic experience: I have used Vacations to Go for many years for my cruise needs. They offer the best deals and value for knowledgeable cruise travelers who like to shop last minute and are not time sensitive.
Fantastic experience: Vacations to Go A+, Silversea Pre-Cruise F, Silversea Cruise Onboard A+ We booked our trip on the Silversea Origin to the Galapagos Islands on July 24th through Vacations to Go. We have used Vacations to Go for our cruises for over fifteen years. We have found the price of a cruise from Vacations to Go sometimes to be better than the cruise line price and sometimes substantially better and in some cases the same. Due to the quality of service, we book our cruises through Vacations to Go. On July 25th we receive notice that Silversea is changing the starting port from Quito to Guayaquil due to construction at Quito airport affecting flights. We asked to cancel the cruise as the change in ports was increasing our air fare by $1200. We were informed since we had booked within 60 days that there was no refund. I indicated to Silversea that you knew ahead of time about work at Quito airport. You should have notified us of potential change of airports. They claimed that they did not know of the work at the airport. I googled information on Quito airport. Quito airport clearly announced information before July 24th. Silversea refused to reimburse us the $1200 for our increased air fare. We had a host of other issues pre-cruise with Silversea. At Vacations to Go my case was elevated to a supervisor. The supervisor and I had a 90-minute conference call with Silversea. During the call we found out Silversea had never provided Vacations to Go that return flights must be after 5 or 6PM. We had to rebook our airline tickets again. At this point my wife and I had no interest in taking the cruise. I then got my case elevated to a senior executive at Vacations to Go. They got in touch with executives at Silversea. We came to an agreement, and we took the cruise. On the first day of the cruise passengers were complaining about their pre-cruise experience with Silversea. Our cruise experience was the exact opposite of our pre-cruise experience. The Silversea Origin is a luxurious ship for 100 passengers. The service was spectacular. The food was excellent with a great variety of choices. The servers, cabin stewards and front desk were very friendly, and we got to know each other by name. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. We were happy that we took the trip but are bewildered by the difference in pre-cruise and on-cruise experience with Silversea. We are fortunate that we had Vacations to Go intervening on our behalf.
Fantastic experience: Got a killer deal on a 10 day southern Caribbean cruise on Celebrity. While the Celebrity website said balconies were sold out we nabbed two balcony cabins for $ 899. Very responsive and professional travel agency. Very Happy!

Negative experience: Would not use this website, I have recently booked a cruise through these guys under the pretence of it being an 80% discount. However after paying $1000 for the cruise later find out that it would have only cost $700 through the actual cruise website. No refund offered and just left feeling scammed. This is the price when taxes are taken into account before they try and sell you a rubbish reply of it not including taxes. Its actually shocking that they can sell their website as a discounted cruise fare website when the original websites are cheaper by several hundred dollars. DO NOT BE SCAMMED PEOPLE!!!

Fantastic experience: We have booked 6 cruises with VTG. The last in April. Logan was the agent who took over for the 1st Logan. Everything was taken care of. He also did the usual follow up and bon voyage messages. One tiny hiccup. It was a Birthday cruise. Carnival claimed they were not informed, so nothing happened, not even the song. However it's ok. I mean really so we missed the servers singing, no a big deal. You can't beat their offers.

Fantastic experience: As we planned out our cruise, Vacations ToGo was helpful. On their website it was easy to access a representative who would efficiently answer questions. I had a problem with a cancelled excursion not being refunded, but on return I posted a review on their website. The next day I heard from a very respectable gentleman who helped me solve the problem. I appreciated the response very much. The communication with their company was very good. I would not hesitate to use them again.
Negative experience: We have been on several international vacation tours. I would NEVER again use Vacations To Go. They add NO value to the process. They simply market travel packages which are put together by the actual tour operators. The other tour companies we've used (Collette, Viking, Princess) all provided Customer Service which enhanced our trip. Vacations To Go offered absolutely nothing!

Negative experience: Bought a cruise through this company that went fine spent $840 on my shore excursions, that's when the problem started. Got on the boat waiting for the tickets for my excursions never came went to the customer service and they were me that I've never purchased the tickets had to rebuy everything that I already paid for, call vacations to go when I got back and was told sorry about luck we are not refunding your money you should've checked with us before you got on the boat is what I was told. My wife and I have use this company multiple times to purchase cruises this will be the last!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have used Vacations To Go several times and it has been a great experience each time. Easy, fast and accurate each time. Very good prices and customer service. Fantastic experience: It is without reservation, that I heartily reccommend Vacations To Go to all "cruisers". Alan Fox., (Exec. Chairman,) has personally responded to questions put to him in the past and the author is "no one in particular". VTG discounts allowed us to travel the caribbean on a vacation of a lifetime for less than the value of the food (which was fantastic) on Norwegian Spirit a few years ago. Having just reviewed (June 2023) the current rates, it revealed that they are often a better value now, than ten years ago. World conditions are changing fast. Cruise NOW. VTG's 90 Day Ticker cuts rates as the cruise date gets closer. Unsold cabins are worthless to a cruise line.

Fantastic experience: My family just returned from a cruise which we used Vacations To Go to set up. Our agent, Maria, was so helpful and so professional and kind. While on our excursion to Roatan, our guide, Whitney, was the best. He was so helpful and kind. I have trouble with one of my legs so I couldn't walk a lot and also it was very hot. He helped me so I wouldn't fall and also to rest in the air conditioned van when I had reached my limit. We highly recommend Vacations To Go for your travel needs!

Negative experience: I had a cruise booked with P&O prior to the pandemic, but due to various circumstances, we had to make multiple changes to our booking. Eventually, P&O offered to refund us for most of the cruise. We agreed to this arrangement, and they informed us that it would take approximately 90 days to process the refund. Around 30 days before the 90-day mark, I reached out to inquire about any updates regarding the refund, only to be informed that I should give them more time as the 90 days had not yet passed. After the 90-day period had elapsed, I followed up again, only to be told that their Accounting department needed more time to locate the refund. To my dismay, they then informed me that they had not received the refund from P&O, and upon contacting the cruise line, they discovered that the refund had never been processed. It has now been an additional two days, and I have yet to receive any further updates. I find myself at a loss as to what to do next, apart from considering involving legal assistance. If VTG (presumably the travel agency) had followed up on my previous inquiries, they would have realized much earlier that the cruise line had failed to process the refund. Dealing with them has been the most unsatisfactory experience I've had with a travel agency, and I am resolved not to conduct any future business with them.

The many managers you’ve spoken to along the way have been following up with P&O often in an effort to receive an update on the status of your refund. The cruise line is located in the United Kingdom, making timely communication during normal business hours a challenge. We appreciate your continued patience. Fantastic experience: This was our first cruise and we had no clue what, where and how to book as obviously we wanted the best deal possible, one balcony room at least, rooms for sure near each other, etc. Was referred to Jenny Staes and she just took all the headache off my hands!! Very prompt in communication and aware of what and how would everything work out to give us our perfect first cruise experience! She even helped confirm travel documents required for my MIL who was visiting the US. Totally too away my stress of booking a vacation :)

Negative experience: We have worked with Vacations To Go for years. In this past year, we have had 2 “bait and switch” type experiences. A published price with on board credit comes up in our feed. When we call to book, we are told that is not available. The only reason they can give us is that our account is linked to a friend’s account and the offer is for them. This cannot or SHOULD not be the case as we have taken many more cruises than the friends mentioned and why would an individual account be linked with another? My advice is to watch VTG promos—as the saying goes, if it sounds to good to be true it probably isn’t.

Princess confirmed that their past passenger promotions are passenger-specific and not available for everyone. There will be instances when you receive an offer and others will not, or vice versa, or when you both receive an offer containing different rates. We cannot speak to why Princess chooses to market that way, but we can assure you that we've done all we can on our end to ensure you see only your rates on our site moving forward. Negative experience: We used Vacations To Go to book our cruise to Alaska for July 2023 near the end of October 2022. Since my wife will be 24 weeks pregnant by the time our cruise sets sail she won't be able to go as they refuse to allow pregnant women who will turn 24 weeks any time during the cruise. There is a fee to cancel our cruise of $1,872.50. Then I find out through princess that if I had booked directly with Princess there is no fee to cancel for pregnancy.

The rules pertaining to pregnant passengers, the time frame allowed for travel, and any penalties associated with cancellation are set by each individual cruise line, not Vacations To Go. If your reservation had been made with Princess, or any other cruise line, the same rules and penalties would have applied. Vacations To Go is required to follow these, and the cruise line reserves the right to deny boarding at the pier. We're very sorry that some penalties were associated with your cancellation, and we hope your insurance claim was approved to help cover those. We wish you and your family all the best as you prepare for the arrival of your child.
Negative experience: SINGLE TRAVELERS BEWARE! Vacations to Go touts itself a last minute, discount booking agent for your cruise experience. First, the discounts are almost nonexistent. I would highly recommend booking directly with your cruise line as the company, Norwegian in my instance, can’t communicate with me directly as I used Vacations to Go (all communications must go through the travel agent). This is my first cruise experience and I have discovered the Cruise experience is NOT for single travelers. You are not informed when purchasing, “enhanced,” packages (upgraded beverage, internet and specialty dining) that Specialty Dining is tailored for two or more travelers and the single traveler has to fend for themselves with regard to reservations once shipboard. Additionally, keep in mind when booking, MANY shore excursions are also tailored for even numbered travelers. I booked a much-anticipated helicopter excursion 6 weeks in advance of the cruise only to be told three weeks later there were no seats available. When you book you are told you will receive an e-ticket within 3 days . . . mine never arrived. After some internet research I discovered the more coveted excursions are slated to accommodate an even number of passengers. I called Vacations to Go and spoke with a supervisor to ask if anything could be done to enhance the cruise experience due to the gap caused by being a single traveler and was told absolutely nothing could be done. Further, the supervisor at Vacations to Go, who stated she had considerable experience indicated she had never been faced with the “single traveler,” dilemma; yet, when she placed me on hold and contacted Norwegian Cruise Lines she was told my obstacles were common for single travelers by customer service at Norwegian. Will I cruise again? We will find out after my April 15th Alaskan cruise. Will I ever use Vacations to Go . . . never. Nor would I ever recommend them to another traveler; single our otherwise.

We also offer excursions through a third-party company called Shore Excursion Group that will allow you to book an excursion as a single passenger. Passengers can book with or without the roommate match program. We’re sorry again that Vacations To Go and Norwegian Cruise Lines have not met your expectations. We do hope that despite your initial frustration, you have a wonderful time on your cruise. Negative experience: Just returned Dec 9 from 10 day Partial Transit Panama Canal out of Ft Lauderdale. Booked balcony mini suite which was great until we returned from a rain filled all day shore excursion to find our room completely torn apart because they decided to do upgrade work that was best suited for the shipyard, not while guests onboard. All I wanted was to shower and change since we had reservations that night in the Crown Grill. After a rude assistant to the Hotel Manager offered me a free drink( mind you we bought the drink package) I insisted that the Hotel Manager, Antonio Romano, seek me out. We met him ashore the next port call and he agreed with me that it was rude to perform shipyard style maintenance while guests were onboard. He upgraded us to club class dining and offered us $1,000 future cruise credit, which I asked to have in writing. He did email us a letter to that regard. Emails to Vacations To Go were basically ignored, like "what do you want me to do?". On Dec 7 we decided to book another cruise with Princess. I paid $200 with my credit card onboard and produced the credit letter given to me by Romano. For the past month I have inquired of Princess why my account only shows $100 credit card deposit and why I do not see the $1,000 credit. Call after call both to my travel agent Vacations to Go and to princess no one could understand the difference between a genuine cash credit and an onboard credit. We were given a cash credit for future cruise, not an onboard credit. We paid $200 not $100 on the credit card. I finally gave up in disgust and cancelled the trip. After 4 bookings with Vacations to Go they have lost my business, as an email to the boss, Mr Fox yielded no response. Once again, a company, Princess, has gone the route of hiring offshore telephone operators that do not understand English well or US business practice. They will never get my business again, nor Vacations To Go , who evidently do not care how important repeat business is, and that it is the most cost effective means of ensuring a company's success. After 4 vacations with them , they gave me the bum's rush.
Negative experience: Unfortunately, our family had a terrible experience and will never again be using Vacations to Go due to the agent we were assigned, Curtis Slack. Beware: The level of service / care completely changes once you have officially booked your trip. They are only concerned about their commission! Our agent was Curtis and he was responsive and friendly before we booked, but the second we booked, at the very first issue we faced with our cruise planning, he left us abandoned and made zero effort to help us resolve said issue. Curtis' exact words to us on the phone when we called him with our issue were, "there's nothing I can do." He then hung up on us with no intention of helping us. It was awful! I called the cruise line directly to resolve the issue myself – which I did, easily. It only took one phone call. Even the cruise line informed us that issues like this should always be handled by the travel agent and they were floored that we weren't helped. We'll be using a different agency next time for sure.
