Fantastic experience: I recently booked my vacation to Vietnam through Travelcation. I had initially made a couple mistakes with my booking, however the customer service provided by Chris Morris from Travelcation was amazing and he was able to to help me resolve my booking within 24 hours! Travelcation had the lowest prices for my flights. Paired with great customer service, this is my new go to spot for booking my vacations. Highly recommended!
Negative experience: Travelcation charged me twice for the same ticket $1000 CAD. It has been almost a year of forth and back emails and almost 100 phone calls but no refund was issued till now. Travelcation admitted that thay chrged twice, offere a vaucher, but to use it I would have to pay a $500 booking fee, which AirTransat told me was not legal. I am so tired of the situation. Will have to involve a lawyer to get some help.
Negative experience: We book our flights to Europe through travelcation. Less than an hour after booking we got a phone call from an agent saying that the flight online that we paid for were not available and they had to move our dates. While that sucked we figured out dates that would work, but then they agent tells me that its an additional $200+. That was the deal breaker for us as it's not what we agreed to. The agent then asked us to wait and was able to get it down to the original price. This wasn't a big deal until our return flight. Come to find out that the agent got our price down by removing our return checked luggage. So on the way back we had to pay to check our bags, which was included both ways in our original tickets. This seems like a dirty move on their part and we will never us them again. If you book and they try this bait and switch make sure you read the fine print.
Negative experience: Travelcation is the worst all round. Don't be fooled into using them when Google Flights offers the option. I bought tickets 8 months ahead and received numerous flight change and delay notices up to the day of my flight. I was a fool to believe their notices because I showed up for the first leg of my flight and I wasn't even booked on the flight I'd been getting notices for. Long story short, their mistakes caused me to miss my second flight and they stranded me in Seattle for TWO DAYS refusing to book me on an earlier flight, of which there were several. They ruined my trip by cutting it short by two days. They're horrible on the phone and dismissive of their own mistakes. I wish I had paid a few extra dollars and used someone else. Shame on Google for even working with them.
Fantastic experience: Suddenly transit flight got cancelled. With 22 months old baby, it is very difficult to stay in transit for 2 days without proper planning. Moses was helping throughout the process. Provided with various options and helped to change the flight with shortest transit time. Thanks Moses for your help & support.
Fantastic experience: Moses was very helpful he switched our canceled flight to a flight at the exact same time. Talked to him 3 or 4 times thought the day and he fixed every issue we had
Negative experience: I found Travelcation using my google flight research. I bought the tickets for my family vacation almost a year in advance. Good price, but my daughter for situation that was out of her way can’t flight. She postpone her flight to Manila . Now she want to flight to Japan and Travelcation fees for change the flight were OUTRAGEOUS. I paid $ 900 each for my flight a year ago. Also I had to paid $100 more to keep the flight. Now my daughter have to paid $300 more for this Fees. Never ever use this Travelcation again
Negative experience: I'm very disappointed to be leaving a bad review since I never do. Unfortunately I got off the phone to customer service an hour ago. Just like everyone else, I had booked my tickets 7 months ago, I was contacted by one of their employees 4 days later but was skeptical when I picked up as my phone indicated it was a scammer/fraud call. The lady on the phone said fine and that was the end of the conversation. I was offered the same ticket for a few hundred pounds extra, which I declined as I didn't believe it really was the company calling. I don't recall, but I was apparently called again the next day but didn't pick up. I had told the lady on the phone that it comes up as a scam on my phone and didn't want to proceed, hence I didn't pick up the following day. Despite receiving a confirmation email, my booking never went through. It is now 1 day before my long haul flight and I have just paid double for the same tickets I had originally booked through the airline website. The man on the phone explained that (insert lady's full name- probably a data protection breach) has left the company so he can't ask her why the price went up, but reading all these reviews I believe he understands very well. He interrupted me when I was talking and was not helpful whatsoever. I asked whether they had any flights I could book instead with them which he was more than happy to assist me with. However, then I realised the same issue might occur and the flight may not be booked. Of course, he justifies this by saying it is booked and confirmed immediately as it is a phone booking. Maybe the company can teach their employees not to blame customers for an issue which is the company's fault. Their employee's approach is very much the individual vs the customer. I explained he is not personally and solely to blame for the issue but it looks like they are looking for an individual to blame- in this case Aria Smith. I travel regularly and have booked with more than 15 airlines and websites and have never encountered anything as disastrous as this. I too will be spreading the word not to book with them. Edit: I have noticed all the 5 star reviews are all residing in Canada and have reported them as spam. They are probably paying people to leave 5 star reviews to bring up their rating.
Fantastic experience: I booked my international ticket early, got a great price, the airline changed my flight 3mo in, Jenny at travelcation was able to get me a better return flight. I’m happy to recommend and plan to use again.
Negative experience: This third party booking company booked my flights over a year ago. Many flight changes emails and phone calls were made updating arrival and departure times. Myself and three friends booked the same deal. One of us was credited half the fare due to the 11hr difference in time and inability to make booked connections. Someone called from the office a week prior to our departure, I communicated my wish to receive the same discount and was told they would look into it and let me know. The next communication was that they canceled my flights and issued a refund! Three days before a trip I planned for a year. It was impossible to make out the person on the other end and my concerns were left unanswered. I’m still reeling from the lack of clear communication and unexpected expenses incurred as a result of this company’s error. Zero responsibility was taken. Will never use again. Zero stars.
Dear Ms. Robinson, I'm sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. Dealing with sudden flight cancellations can be incredibly stressful, especially when you've been planning the trip for a year. As per the records, there has been a schedule change towards the flight. Unfortunately no agency have a hold on sudden changes made by the airlines. Due to unforeseen circumstances and sudden operational changes, airlines cancels the flights, alternatively they also provide the options to assist the passengers. If the passengers does not accepts the flights offered by the airlines, in this situation, they offer a full refund as they are unable to accommodate the original flights. We also see a communication with the agent where the original option was not available due to which the airlines cancelled the complete flight and hence the refund was offered. Neither the airlines nor the agency has charged any amount and full refund was offered. We once again apologize for the inconvenience caused as schedule change is not within the agency limit and airline has the right to refund the ticket.
Fantastic experience: This was my second trip planned with travelcation, they always have the best deals. But this time around I have faced some conflicts with my flight so I called travelcation for assistance. They are quick on answering calls. This time I was helped by an Agent named Moses and he was absolutely amazing. He called me 4 time to resolve my problem with the airline as they changed my flight. But Moses did not give up on helping me, he kept fighting with the airline to get the refund that I needed. I couldn’t have done it without Moses. Thank you so much for your help and thank you for solving my issue. I highly recommend travelcation and will definitely book my next flight with them. Especially now that I know people like Moses works with travelcation.
Negative experience: PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE & DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELCATION! We will soon be forced to take legal action against Travelcation for the thousands of dollars lost due to Travelcation’s mistakes. We were initially pressured to write a “glowing review” when we purchased our tickets, so I’m assuming most of these 5 star reviews are fabricated. We were also threatened to not post an honest review about our situation or they would withhold our refund. My husband and I had booked two flight tickets with Travelcation totaling over $4000 for our 3-week honeymoon. We had confirmed the details over the phone with Travelcation before our flight, but once we got to the airport to check-in, the airline said that TRAVELCATION INCORRECTLY ENTERED OUR DETAILS, therefore they would not let us board our flights. Even the customer service rep at the check-in counter at the airport was shocked & said that Travelcation was completely INCOMPETENT and that she would make sure to warn others not to book with them. When we called Travelcation, we had to wait on hold for over an hour before someone picked up from. We were then told that they were unable to fix the problem for us, so our only option was to purchase new last minute tickets for $10,000 each PER PERSON to the same destination. Yes, you heard that price correctly. & no, they were not willing to honor the original price we paid. This happened over 7 months ago and we STILL have not received a full refund for our flights. We have also lost THOUSANDS of dollars in connecting flights, non-refundable hotel bookings, excursions, etc. We have repeatedly called them every other day ever since December 2022, but keep getting told that someone from their team would call us back, which we never receive. My husband calling again today to simply inquire about the refund and the agent hung up on him TWICE. What was supposed to be one of the most beautiful moments in our lives, turned into one of the worst nightmares we’ve ever experienced. We did not get to go on our honeymoon and have now lost several thousands of dollars on top, due to Travelcation’s mistake. To add - Travelcation refused to reimburse us for our losses and Chris Morris (Travel agent from Travelcation Toronto) told us to FRAUDULENTLY claim a “medical emergency” for all of our connecting flights and non-refundable hotels, since he said that Travelcation does not want to take responsibility for this. If this review can help someone else avoid a nightmare similar to ours, that’s all I can ask for.

Per the reservation details, it has been noticed that a refund if 1674.21CAD per passenger has already been refunded to the original form of payment. Also, a request has been raised by Chris to refund the remaining amount of 783.40 CAD. The refund was raised on 7th June 2023, it may take up-to 2 billing cycle to reflect on your card statement. Bought fight ticket 4 weeks ahead , however on day of my flight they called m to notify me that I had no flight reservation ..no apologies , they don't care for customers.t Thus couldn't fly. Negative experience: Very disappointed with my experience. I booked a flight in January through this agency and about a month ago they called to tell me the flight was canceled. When they asked if i wanted to reschedule a flight i asked them to send it through my email because i wasn’t sure yet. I never received an email so i called a day after and they never had the flight. Then i asked for a refund and an agent said that she will send me an email for the confirmation. Ive been waiting for that email over 2 weeks now. They told me that it could take 1 to 2 months for me to be refunded and that they’re waiting for the airline to get back to them. I’ve even asked to speak with their supervisor and no one was available at the time. I feel like I am being scammed.

Negative experience: The flight was not a good deal and I was not allowed to make any adjustment, although the seat I wanted was available. Very inflexible, and for no real benefit. Not worth using this service. Better to book through the airline. Edit: They can refer to the price I paid for the airfare as "discounted," if they like, but it is not true that the rate I paid was lower than the airline's advertised rate at that time. It is also not true that the airline was unwilling to change my itinerary.

Negative experience: I went online to purchased my tickets though compare fare which turned out to be travelcation !!!! afterwards I received a call which they tried to charged me extra $36 for unknown taxes or fees. Stating they will cancel my flight !!! It’s a scam !! You’re better off purchasing your tickets through the airlines to avoid and other charges !!! They didn’t speak English correctly and it was hard to understand them. They must be based in India !!!! They cancel my flight after I refused to pay the extra $36 fees.

Negative experience: Beware Fraudulent company! Cheap is always too expensive! Do not make the mistake of booking with this company! The worst customer service I have had to experience! If you book no need of booking the insurance you pay for something that’s not working! Dare to write an email requesting some help with your booking, and you’ll get a phone call in the middle of the night (2AM) by someone who does not respect nor listens to your indication, on top of that they will even cut you off and explain you should have learn to read better! The flight they propose are the worst flight I had to experience! Honestly it pains me to share such an awful review I prefer to underline the good stuff in life but I cannot in good conscience let anyone go through the lack of respect and disregard of human behind numbers go unnoticed. I feel like a warning is the least I can do! The only good thing is it confirms why such company’s will disappear in the next few years. Negative experience: So this is a scam. Here's how it works. 1) You try to book a ticket 2) They call you back to say the original ticket isn't available and offer you an increased price for another ticket. 3) You buy it 4) Travelcation then book the ticket with the airline and send you an itinerary. 5) Travelcation then cancel the ticket without telling you and collect the credit from the airline. 6) If you don't travel within your dispute timeframe then you lose. Don't fall for this!
Negative experience: I hope you didn't already buy the tickets. Stay very far away from this company. Please do not waste your time with this company. Please check BBB and Reddit regarding this company first. I cant believe this company exists in the US. I've wasted so much time on the chat, waited days for the ticket and ended up paying more than the quoted price. They never answer the calls. Customer service people are not very professional. Positive experience: While my initial efforts to work with this company were extremely frustrating with online booking efforts that could not get processed without explanation followed by phone calls that got dropped or were disconnected by Travelcation, I finally got to an agent named Aurelius who worked diligently to get the booking done for me including seat assignments, frequent flyer numbers. etc., double checking everything to be sure it was correct. It took hours of effort but we finally got ticketed on the flights we wanted. Their phone number came into my phone as "Suspected Spam" so their calls to me were getting blocked by my carrier Xfinity.
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with these guys. My boarding pass arrived in my inbox within about 3 minutes of my purchase. I logged into the carrier's website and confirmed it was legit. I saw that others had issues with not getting boarding passes, so this was a concern of mine. From start to finish the communication was amazing. They kept me updated about the status of my flight. I felt like they really had my back. I had to call customer service at one point. They were helpful. And their price was lower than Google Flights. I will definitely book with these guys again!
Negative experience: After booking a flight to Portugal three months in advance AND GETTING A CONFIRMATION EMAIL from Travelcation, I tried to select seats with the airline a week before our flight only to be told then that Travelcation had cancelled our reservation!!! Called Travelcation and they told me that the airline cancelled the reservation… they claimed they notified me by email, but I got no such notice. Luckily I was able to re book directly with the airline on the very same flight! ( but at an increased cost) I am convinced the travel agent was offering a fare that was not available when they had confirmed to me it was booked.. —Do not deal with this travel agency/ booking service. They confirmed a ‘lost leader’ airfare as booked and did not properly notify me when this booking was later canceled !!!
Dear Mr. Boonstra, Greetings from Travelcation! We understand your concern here and we did try to accommodate you for the flights that has been reserved on 03’Jan. However the booking was cancelled as the verification could not be completed and the tickets had to be cancelled by the airlines. On the same date 03’Jan, a cancellation email was sent to the registered email address in regards to the booking. The amount was auto-reversed to the same account used for the reservation.
Negative experience: do not trust this place, all positive reviews are fake. This place is a scam centre. They will forge documents and have you believe your flights are booked, when you call to check with an airline, they'll inform you that your reservation is opened but not paid for yet, because these guys are waiting till the last moment to rip you off. Fantastic experience: Let me tell you, Moses went above and beyond when it came to finding me the perfect ticket for my trip. Even with Covid situation and ticket change needed and rebooking our flights, Moses was very empathetic and took care of everything we needed and went above an beyond to help us with the new dates. Fantastic experience: We booked our first flight through Travelcation and the experience was seamless! The service representative, Sofia Willson contacted us shortly after and provided us with more travel options with no extra charges and helped us select our preferred date which we could not do earlier by ourselves due to the fare difference. Overall, an amazing experience and will definitely do my bookings with them in the future!
Negative experience: This place is a SCAM! Check the Better Business Bureau!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. They change your ticket information and then lock you into a contract. Their customer service was TERRIBLE! They gave me the run around saying they couldn't help me and that it was up to the airlines when I had already contacted the airlines for assistance and the airlines clearly stated that it was up to the 3rd party site Travelcation. They're phone number frequently didn't work. They passed me off from coworker to coworker tying to buy 60 days of time. They refused to help us on a simple fix on a ticket, that i truly believe they created and then tried to charge us to fix it. Do not book with them.
Fantastic experience: Moses was EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating. One of my flight times changed and made it impossible to get to my layover, so they worked with me and got me exactly what I needed with no extra fee or cost. I am now on my way to Japan thanks to Travelcation! Thank you!
Positive experience: Bait and Switch. Booked a flight to Asia. Within 5 minutes I received a phone call from an agent telling me the flight was overbooked and for $500 extra I could still get the trip. It was an emergency. I paid. When I got on the plane it was 80% full at best. Don't let this happen to you. As for the 5 star reviews....I'm a bit skeptical, decide for yourself. If they try to scam you contact the Attorney General. You will get a refund. ----- UPDATE 03/17/2023--- -After my review I was immediately contacted by an agent asking me to remove my negative review. When I am issued my refund as promised and within 24 hours as I have requested I will be much happier and will most certainly be in a much better position to write a positive review. Until then my review is true and factual as written. ----UPDATE 03/20/2023----- My refund was credited back to my card. I'm very happy about that. (I had to fight hard for it). This gives me some confidence that the site can be a valuable tool and trusted to a degree. They offer low prices which we all want. I am skeptical about overbooking and upcharge phone call from the agent. If you get a phone call you may want to reconsider. I did have one of the quickest flight times to Asia I've ever has even with two short layovers which was excellent. Coming back I had a 15 hour layover in Seoul. Negative experience: do not use this site. it almost a scam. first i booked with very good price. then i received a call from them next day say that flight is not available. they booked me on another flight FOR few hundreds more. it was booked that i can change it if needed. I tried to modified my reservation with no luck at all. if you have to change reservation or had flight cancellation( like i did with snow storm). then you are out of luck . MY ADVISE RUN AWAY FROM THIS WEB COMPANY, IT IS THE CLOSEST THING TO A SCAM.
Negative experience: Have to say that this second review is as bad as the first. We had to cancel our initial flight and had a terrible time with their customer service group. I just tried to use our credit and started the process on March 3, 2023. I was just called today on March 9th, after i sent 10 emails. Surprise - the original trip we wanted wasnt available and the cost was double from what we had looked at a week ago. IF you book with this company and have a problem, you will regret trying to save money. TERRIBLE Experience!

After investigating the details of the reservation, the future credit for your reservation was valid until 03rd Mar'23. We did receive an email from you the same day to rebook the flights however, the flights and the business class requested by you, comes with the fare difference. As per the conversation details with one of the supervisors, I also understand that the fare difference was denied by you. We spoke with the airlines to check if the extension of the credit was possible so that you could have rebooked later when prices were bit reasonable. However, the airlines denied the same. Unfortunately, the airline would not waive off the fare difference. Travelcation always strives to offer the best rates as possible in terms of new reservation however changes on a reservation, applies as per the airlines policy. We apologize for the same as you were not able to get a reasonable difference of the flights.
Fantastic experience: From the beginning of the conversation, Moses listened attentively, working diligently and patiently to meet my needs. Although their were delays because of the slowness of my computer response,,he was patient,reminding me that he would not end the call. Several times ,we were disconnected, with Moses immediately calling me back . He diligently and patiently went thru each step of the process. He also was attentive to my needs for comfort while traveling due due to handicapped status. Although there was not a comfort seat available, he placed me in an aile seat to provide additional leg room. Whatever problems presented, Moses worked to resolve the obstacles. Negative experience: Stay away from them. Here is the story: - I found good roundtrip tickets and 'booked' them with travelcation. No e-ticket was issued nor luckily credit card was charged. - in two days!!! I was contacted by them with the info that outbound flight was no longer available, and they offer another option 40% more expensive - I expressed my disagreement and asked to cancel the whole booking. Had to repeat this multiple times, as they would not listen. - They wanted to charge 'cancellation fees', which I refused to pay as there were nothing to cancel. - In the end just hang up and withing a few minutes got a cancellation email and no charges against my cc. - Happy end: the seats on the flight I was lied about being no longer avail. were still up for booking, and I reserved them directly with the airline.
Negative experience: fake price post online. They will call you in a few hours after booking telling you that "the price have gone up, and you need to pay extra to confirm the booking". If you refuse, they will give you a discount in in extra but still. However, if you keep monitoring the same flight, you will see the price actually never changed.
Negative experience: Booked a flight through travelcation twice, the 1st time got the email which not successed in 2 days. The 2nd time price goes up by GBP170 with the same dates, but still booked. However received an email to ask me call me. After telcon, they need to charge me GBP600 higher than the original price! I rejected and they promised me to check another dates with airline top keep the original price, and will reply me in 2 hours. However, no one contacted me, so I contacted them again via online chat and hold for 2 hours, the result is they need charge me GBP800 higher than the original price. Much Much higher than in the afternoon. Such a waste time and 100% WON'T BOOK any tickets from Travelcation!
Negative experience: They offer you a price online (YYZ-CDG $849), then they call you and say it’s actually $400 more. I would have booked directly with the airline if I wanted to pay that price. It wasn’t until I said to cancel the flight entirely and book with another company that they applied a voucher as a « first time booker » and it went down to $894, still $45 more than the original price. They also don’t send you a confirmation of your flight until you write a review. If I only got the voucher bc it was the first time, I definitely do not feel confident booking with travelcation a second time. Shop around.
Negative experience: I booked 2 tickets for Phillip and Ann, 2 booking reference numbers but the same credit card. One went through, the other one is not. I try to called them more than 10 times, but nobody pick up the phone, after I email to them, then they called me back, I try to explain to them that I booked 2 tickets, not 1ticket. But they kept send invoice for Phillip. I feel they careless for customer.. I am still waiting for them to respond because we are going to travel same place.
Negative experience: I booked a $478 flight. Unexpected things happen in life sometimes and plans change. Unfortunately I have to cancel my trip and can't get a refund for my flight, not even a flight credit. It's unethical for a company to keep almost $500 of my money for a flight that I will no longer be able to go on. Not to mention, Travelcation never answers their phone and I had to send multiple emails until I received an answer about my flight cancellation. I'll never be doing business with this despicable company again.

Negative experience: ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE I booked a flight online with Travelcation for my trip to Viet Nam. I gave my credit card number and completed the online form, just as I’ve done when booking on other travel websites. A day or so later I got an email saying that my booking wasn’t compete and I needed to contact them. It took several calls to get through to a customer service person, who checked my file and said he couldn’t find any issue. He said he’d look into it and call me back. I never heard back so I assumed the issue was cleared. When I got to the airport to leave for my trip, I found I had no tickets. I called Travelcation and talked to a rep (in another country) who then offered me some very expensive tickets, but wasn’t even willing to quote me an exact price. I still never learned what the issue was with my original booking, which tells me the thing was a scam. I gave up on them and after several hours of research, booked last-minute tickets with another travel site at a cost of $2,300. extra which was more than the original $1,600. for the tickets... TCBUS91706 I've contacted Google about allowing this site to do business on their travel site in hopes they will be banded for bad business practices. Bottom line, Travelcation is clearly a scam. Save yourself the headache and avoid at all costs. Others have posted the SAME experience which is enough to tell ANYONE to steer clear of them. Now, if Travelcation wants to admit publicly of what they did and have done in the past AND refund me the $2,300 EXTRA I had to pay to fly that day, than I will do the same to say they made right by this!! Travelcation even contacted Trustpilot to try and get my review and comments removed, please follow up on those requested to make sure they are NOT deleted.
Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! I booked an international flight paid all my money. Got my flight confirmed and even a confirmation email with details just for them to cancel the reservation on their end 3 days before my flight because they overbooked with the airline. Not only was their customer support impossible to reach over the phone, the only option they gave me when I was finally in contact was booking me a new ticket (not even the same ticket or layovers) for the updated ticket price which you could all imagine how insane 3 days prior. I requested to speak to a manager since the mistake was an internal operations issue and I just keep receiving emails that managers are busy even after explaining my urgency.
Negative experience: I have travelled to Asia since 2009. I would book flights about 3 to 4 times a year. This year's first trip, Travelcation came up as a place to purchase tickets. I found the flights, entered credit card information and clicked purchase. I received an email saying the flight was purchased. Later I received an email that said the prices was $300 more. Then another email that said to disregard. I called anyway because I didn't see the charges on my CC even though I had a confirmation number. The number was fake. I called and spoke to an Indian person. They preceded to explain how the original price was a limited offer and I can't have that price. I asked for the agent that sent me the email, it was a fake name. I paid the extra, had to email and ask for my e-ticket because they still didn't send. This is an India-based travel agent that specializes in bait and switch.
Fantastic experience: It's the first time I'm using Travelcation site for my international travel with kids. Gustavo Lonazo from Travelcation was very helpful , patient enough to answer all my questions and also helped me find a good deal for my travel with less duration hours of the the flights. Thank you Gustavo for all your help to book my flight tickets with a good deal on the airfares. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and will be using them again in the future.
Fantastic experience: Last month I booked a trip online using the company's web site. The process was smooth, and all was good. The flight was for a couple of days ago, and I had yet to receive any notification from the airline. So, I called the agency the night before to follow up. It turned out that the day after I had booked my flight, the airline had cancelled the ticket and I had missed the email from them telling me so. My shout out goes to Jordan S. who spent more than hour with me on the phone to find a solution. He booked me on the same flight, and he tried his best to find the best price given that it was now a last minute booking. He also sent me a follow up email the next day, which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend them if nothing else for their customer service.
Negative experience: SCAM BAIT AND SWITCH COMPANY - Don't believe the fake comments to boost their rating! This company will offer you a low price, give you a fake confirmation, and that's where the scam takes off. They will ignore your attempts to contact them. After about a week they will get you on the phone and say your flight has gone up to an ABSURD price and they are working on a "deal" for you. They will transfer you around, wasting your time, and then say they have a great deal but it's not as good as the previous deal. The deal? Still HIGHER than booking directly with the airline. This is a BAIT AND SWITCH company and should not be advertised by google flights.
Negative experience: I had a similar experience to others here. I booked my flight through Travelcation and immediately got a confirmation email from them that said I should receive my e-ticket within an hour. When I didn't receive it for several hours, I started looking at reviews of the company and realized it's probably a scam. I tried calling them, but the number wouldn't connect. I was able to connect with a live agent through the website who told me they couldn't confirm the booking because the price had gone up. I asked them to cancel the booking, and immediately put a hold on my credit card. In their defense, they did cancel without any pushback and I got confirmation of the cancellation. I'll be booking directly through the airline instead. I submitted Feedback to Google asking them to remove Travelcation from their Booking Options, and encourage others to do the same. This will continue to happen if Google is funneling people their way.
Negative experience: They canceled my flight the day of. When I called them to see what happened they were trying to charge me an extra $200 to get that same flight. But then I went online and it was the same price that what I paid for and they didn’t even give me that option and it was from their website and they were trying to charge me $200 more through the phone. The price you see on Google Flights is always WAY LOWER than what you will be charged.They put a very low price to attract you going through the booking process. After you enter all the information the service rep will call you telling you that sorry but not sorry we need to charge $100 more otherwise we need to cancel the booking. Ridiculous!
Positive experience: Booked flights for my upcoming travel in March. The advertised price was not accurate, I had to pay slightly more. The price I paid was the same as if I booked directly with the airline. I was kind of expecting this as airline prices fluctuate day to day. From what I understand, unlike larger booking providers (Expedia, etc.) they do not have the actual tickets when you purchase from them. They have to confirm the pricing with the airline before you get your actual tickets. So they are more like a travel agency, as they do not buy large blocks of tickets to sell them at a discount. I did have to follow up with a phone call the next day but I did get the tickets. Make sure you read the fine print! Also, if I had to travel immediately, like within the next couple days, I would likely book directly with the airline or through Expedia or other large travel platform to get immediate confirmation and have my tickets issued right away. Overall, it all worked out for me, no issues
Positive experience: I first received a msg from Travelcation saying my return flight was booked for about 1130CAD. Next day, I got a msg saying that the company (Lufthansa) was not accepting the departure flight. I was asked to call Travelcation where they asked me to talk to Chris Morris. He found another departure flight, for a new total of 1594 CAD. I accepted the deal as it seems to still be cheap. Chris Morris send me the URL of the Lufthansa website so that I could check by myself that the departure and back flights were actually booked. He took many minutes with me over the phone so that I could make sure. He always remained calm, patient and with a pleasant tone of voice,
Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. I would give zero stars if possible. Minutes after booking a trip for two passengers this morning, we received a call from Chris Morris at Travelcation telling us that only one seat could be confirmed at the price listed and the second seat would cost an additional $500. We needed time to think this through and called him back after 15 minutes to discuss our options and ask how it's legal for them to do this. Chris became frustrated with us and said we had to decide right then and there if we were going to keep the flights, essentially forcing us to spend the extra $500. We asked for everything in writing via email, and asked for some time to investigate our options. He agreed to give us 30 min because I guess something changed and now he was able to do that? My friend and I ended up making other arrangements AT THE ORIGINAL RATE WE WERE GOING TO PAY WITH TRAVELCATION through Expedia and cancelled our flights with Travelcation. We are waiting to receive the cancellation in writing as it was just done over the phone. This is a scam through and through. The lack of ethics here is ridiculous. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.
Negative experience: Found them on Google flights and decided to book through them because it was cheaper than purchasing directly with the airline. I got a call that the price had now increased (by about $300). I really should have checked Google flights before agreeing because it would have been cheaper to book directly with the airline at that point. I think their business plan is based on posting a lower price that they never intend on giving you and then calling you to say the price has increased (to the price it actually is). They call you instead of sending an email about the price increase so you have less time to make the decision and price compare and are therefore more likely to agree (especially if it's a last minute flight). They also insist on you posting a 5 star review before they give you the eticket. Very scammy.

I booked a flight and got a call that the price was "an error by Google Flights" (not true, Google Flights redirects you to book through TravelCation's site itself, where the price was also listed and confirmed) and no longer available. I would have to agree to a higher price to get my tickets. The customer service rep was extremely rude and aggressive as well. Book through somewhere else.
Negative experience: I purchased 2 tickets with Travelcation and it was successfully done... I purchased them because it was the best price but not the most convenient, direct flight (shorter time, no transits). But: The next day I received an email that my purchase had been cancelled. I called Travelcation and learned that, sorry , no seats were available for this price, the price increased by almost 50%. Itinerary did not change. Due to the urgency of my travel, there was no time to reschedule with other options. It seems the Travelcation is selling what is not available and than charges more. I asked for the Claim Department / Manager's data to claim the price but was not given any info, just statement that I had agreed to pay the new price. I did, given the circumstances, but I would purchase for the same price the direct flight... Shame on such practices (it looks I am not the only one experiencing them), shame on Travelcation. I was not able to make check-in on line. I wrote to the Travelcation support and they just adviced "no warries, you are good to go". But I had to rely on seats' availability and make line at the counter and appear much earlier at the airport due to these "no warries"... Definitely I do not recommend this travel agency.
Negative experience: This is the absolute worst company to plan a trip through. I’m supposed to be on a plane to Montreal two days from now and upon trying to view the flight on the airlines site, I found that my booking was not there. I contacted Travelcation and they told me THEY CANCELLED MY BOOKING AND NEVER NOTIFIED ME. They told me they “called me” and when I asked further, they said that they don’t leave messages because other customers typically answer 1-888 numbers. Needless to say I am outraged. I can’t afford the flight now because it is 10x more expensive and they won’t give me a travel credit. They said it is my fault for not answering the phone when they called me a few days after booking. No email, no voicemail, nothing. I will never use this company again and would tell every person I run into to never use them. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

Negative experience: Do not book a flight here. I booked a flight through Travelcation for an air transat flight. 3 days after booking, they email me that my reservation has been cancelled and that if I want to rebook the new fare is $70 dollars extra. I could have just booked through transat reliably had I know my reservation would randomly get cancelled and they would refuse to uphold the fare I originally booked at. Please do yourself a favour and book through the airline or a more reliable service, as going through previously Google reviews it seems like this is a pattern and a way in which they make extra money on reservations.

They are all poorly trained (I unfortunately talked to 4-5 agents) and will not give you any meaningful help. Its tele phone system is very poor too and certainly is using web phone. Worst of all it has very poor quality and most of time hardly to hear each other.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with Travelcation. I booked a flight through them and received a confirmation email stating that my booking was successfully completed, only to find out three days before my trip that the booking had been cancelled due to issues with the airline's pricing. Travelcation did not actively inform me of the cancellation, and I had to find out by calling them to order special food. This caused me to have to book a new flight at a much higher price, and it could have caused me a lot of problems if I hadn't called them. The customer service I received was also unhelpful, with long holds and unreturned calls. I would not recommend using Travelcation for your travel booking needs.
Negative experience: Be aware of bait and switch! We booked the tickets and received a phone call saying the ticket class we booked was sold out, and we need to pay ~$100/person more for the upgraded class. We negotiated down to ~$40/person, and received a confirmation. Nevertheless, 12 hours later, they cancelled the tickets claiming couldn't verify my payment info. That's a clear lie because the same credit card was charged successfully for the rental car I booked around the same time.
Negative experience: Support is horrible. Remember that your ticket is not confirmed once you book with them. They will confirm it to you later. I booked with them and tried to call them to confirm my ticket and their support is just unreachable. Phone support will never get you to an actual agent and chat agent will ask you to talk to a phone agent. If you need a confirmed ticket urgently, don’t go with them as they will only give your more anxiety.
Negative experience: STAY AWAY!! dont be Fooled by 5 star reviews written by employees!! This is a bait and switch agency with booking agents who give themselves fictitious names. Dont believe me? Look at the pics on their website and you will realise what I mean. They show you cheaper rate online and once you book, the wait starts to recieve your Eticket which never arrives. Then you call them 24 hours later they will reply and convince you that the ticket was not booked and you need to rebook it but guess what? The prices now are not the same, they have gone up by 15-25% and you are forced to book the ticket at a higher price and I realised that they do book the tickets at the cheaper rate and they charge you a hefty fee (Difference between the original price and what they charged you through convincing that the ticket was not booked originally and that you should pay more or you risk paying even more as you wait longer). I saw 2 charges on my credit card, one for the price that i locked in when I booked my ticket and another that is a charge by this agency which is likely commission earned by the booking agent called (Ana Garcia) who promised to send me a credit back but never did after waiting 25 days I decided to add this review as they do give you a run around. So My advise, stay away at all cost and dont get scammed by these offshore booking agents who are likely going to get shut down as I have filed a complaint with the local authorities as well about this incident.

Positive experience: After booking a flight to Europe through Travelcation, I received a confirmation but did not receive my tickets. Called customer service several times. First attempt I was disconnect. Second attempt I was placed on hold and again disconnected. My request was resolved on my third attempt by Chris Morris who was quick to respond and send over my tickets. Chris was pleasant and efficient. Thank you.

Called to tell us that the ticket has gone up to $3900. The called dropped every time we muted the phone and they kept calling back which made us very suspicious. Negative experience: In August, I bought a September ticket on travelcation, worth about $3300. However, due to the COVID restrictions, I was not able to board the plane. I called the customer service of the airline—Eva Air, and asked about the refund. Their customer service staff the ticket is fully refundable and they will only charge a handling fee of $270. After that, I communicated with the travelcation customer service staff about the refund. My ticket price was about 3300, but they only refunded me about 1100, and deducted about 2000 more. ever since, i was pushed from department to department and no one was replying my phone call. I called their company customer service many times to discuss this problem, but their customer service staff said that they needed to communicate with their accountant, and each time they said that the accountant was busy, and someone would call me within 48 hours, and still no resolution thus far. It's January 2023 and i am being completely ignored by travelcation. I would suggest to avoid them all you can.
Negative experience: Decent if you don't need to change your ticket. But if there is a remote chance you may need to change your plan, then by all means avoid them. I had to change/or cancel flight due to some unexpected situation. No matter what option you choose, you will loose a big chuck of your money. In my case, I paid about $2,600 for the original airfare, and I had to pay at least $1,000 to make any changes to the ticket. I end up cancelling the ticket and got a refund of $1,100, meaning the penality and loss add up to $1,500, which is rediculous.

Negative experience: Mike Wilson was very helpful after I made an error booking he cancelled within 24 hours with a promise to provide a full refund. However I've since changed my review of this business because they essentially blackmailed me to leave a positive review to receive my refund. This business operates in a grey area whereby they take your money and wait until the last minute to buy your flights. That's why you never get your booking. They are hoping to make money on the difference if prices change and that just wouldn't work for my situation as I needed to confirm well in advance that my father was getting on a flight and the rumors about them canceling and not refunding any portion got me worried. In the end they did refund me 100% but not before pressing them to do so. The credit card company is aware of this firm, but does nothing to mitigate it and Google Flights actually referred me to book through them.

I originally booked a flight to leave Aug 08 and then return Aug 09. It was a short trip so I wanted it to be cheap. I was sent the confirmation email and everything looked good so I thought I was set. The next day however they changed my return flight to come back the same exact day I departed. I tried getting into contact with Travelcation for 2 days after this. First by phone, I was put on hold for hours so I gave up. I tried by live chat, again I was put on hold.... on a live chat.... I waited an hour and gave up. I eventually had to make other plans because I knew this flight wouldn't work for me so I called again the next day to get the whole thing cancelled, and guess what happened? They charged me $177 and then changed the flight back to the original date, when I had specifically asked to have it cancelled. After I emailed them about the new charge, Travelcation passed me around to a few bots asking me to share sensitive information and trying to refund me for more than the amount I paid? Yeah.. scam. I'm out almost $300 and no flight. Stay far away and save yourself money, time and headache.
Negative experience: Travelcation misled me, which cost me $150. I'd recommend avoiding and instead using another third party booking site, or the airlines themselves. I booked a flight on Travelcation's website. When I noticed after about an hour that no money had been taken from my bank account, I called their helpdesk to be told the ticket would be confirmed within the hour. The next day, still nothing had happened so I called again. This time I was told that the flight was in fact not available at the price it had been sold at. I ended up booking the same flight but the price at risen by $150 in the day that had passed.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking. After paying for my ticket, they called to say they need my ID. They didn't tell me they needed it within 30 minutes. I did not have my passport on me. They canceled my flight and say the refund will take 10-14 days but will keep a service fee. I took a call recording of this and listened back. At no time did the agent explain the urgency or that the ticket might be canceled.
Negative experience: Airline changed my flight and is asking to confirm the details via travelcation folks. I am waiting for 3 days to get an answer from travelcation. The customer service line is always busy and once I got hold to them and they said they'll work on it. I am yet to receive a reply since then. I hope the airlines doesn't cancel my flight because of the delay from travelcation folks.

I booked and called within the same minute (MAKE SURE YOU'RE CALLING ABOUT A NEW RESERVATION TO GET CONNECTED) and they told my my flight went from $500 to $800, WHILE THEY WERE STILL "SELLING" $500 TICKETS. It's only after you book that they require you to pay more to get the actual ticket. In order to get your booking cancelled, call the business number and select 1 for NEW RESERVATION. Only then will they pick up. The option for an existing reservation didn't work.
Fantastic experience: Chris Morris has provided us an immediate help with correcting the payment of our booking. He was above and beyond helping us rebooking a flight from Toronto to London. He is a great example for what is exemplary customer service should be. Thank you Chris.
Negative experience: SCAMMERS DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. There should be something below 1 star. I booked on Dec 2nd and received a confirmation email from Travelcation.On Dec 3rd they sent me an email to the wrong email address saying my flight was cancelled. I didn't find out that information until I emailed them asking for my ticket confirmation a week later. Once I emailed them saying I didn't receive anything. They advised we sent to the wrong email address however here is a confirmation we cancelled it because there weren't enough seats. After phoning and waiting in queue for quite some time I am told that the flight at that price is no longer available. If I still wanted that flight, I would need to pay double the price as that is now what it costs as of today. I made the reservation and purchased it at the price advertised. The supervisor was unable to do anything for me and basically just said I’m outta luck. Corporations typically have insurance for these issues. This seems to be a common them with this company with shady practices. They are not willing to take accountability for their mistake. How do i get the confirmation email but the cancellation email is sent to the wrong email. Scam DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.
Negative experience: I booked a return flight to Lima. They called later saying the flight wasn't available and they can't give me the flight they promised and they were going to raise the costs for me. Unfortunately by then the price had gone up on other websites and I ended up loosing ~$400 in extra costs for the same flight. The whole interaction felt very scammy. I ended up booking with Cheapoair but the price had gone up by then. Atleast I got the tickets and confirmation right away.
Negative experience: They messed up our flight start to finish, didn't tell us the time was changed to nine plus hours later. Didn't realize until we went to check in to the airline. As a result of this, we also couldn't fully check into the flight, were left as standby, couldn't choose seats, lucky to get on the plane. When we contacted them to let them know the flight had changed they basically their hands in the air. Stay away. Do not use them if you want a smooth process with the airline.
Negative experience: Upon booking and paying, this company called me to tell me my fares have changed and went up by nearly $200. I was absolutely blown away that they would allow you to select a flight, book and pay, and then immediately call to try to get more money out of me. After an extensive conversation about the ethics behind that approach, they finally honored my original rate that I booked. THEN, I had work plans change and needed to push my departure date back. They're trying to charge me 2x the amount the airline would charge me and every agent who has talked to me promised follow up and I received none. Today I've been communicating with them again and they're very pushy about paying right away without giving me my solidified flights. 'm really frustrated with this agency, and will NOT be using them in the future. I don't recommend.
Negative experience: Don't trust this website, fraud, I purchased ticket for about $1500, got confirmation email, had some emergency travel plan. Waited next whole day, didn't recieve any ticket, tried calling them and upon 3-4 attempts managed to talk to someone. She said that ticket is not available anymore, so how I purchased it then? Then she said I can give you same plan for $2500 (1000 extra). So if no availability then how it's available for 2500? She was arguing and not accepting their fault. They didn't charge the card and didn't bother to contact me to inform about this. Don't risk your travel with them.

Negative experience: Booked airfare with them and then agent called me and told me there weren’t actually any seats left so I had to pick a new flight which was more (even though it was their fault). On my vacation and contacting them via their 24/h helpline. I wanted to change my departure date. They told me they would email the airline over the weekend and get back to me Monday (I don’t understand why they could not call immediately and get the problem solved). I was very patient with them over the weekend. But it’s the due date today and they still have no answer. If I could call them I know I would be easier but I can’t because I’m on vacation. Maybe it’s just their online help chat that isn’t the best.
Fantastic experience: Hi I just want to thank scarlet woods for her amazing service. We missed our flight and no one in the airport was willing to help so I called her in grief and pain and put my stress on her. No matter how long it took she stood by us all the way and never gave up by rearranging our flights! Such a lovely hardworking girl she is. Positive experience: Charged my card for more than stated on the receipt. Support team is quick to reply. Although they said they'd provide a refund, it didn't process until we reached out again months later.
Fantastic experience: We were in contact with Chris Morris who has been extremely attentive to our issue. Airlines cancelled our tickets and we were waiting to get the new reservation for 6 months. We were very frustrated and worried, Chris helped us to get the new tickets within couple of days after calling. He was very patient and kind throughout our conversation. Thank you Chris :)
Negative experience: **After looking at other reviews it seems like they purposely put cheap flights to entice buyers but then call later to charge more saying that the flight has been booked or the airline had gave them the wrong price. I am not the first person to have this issue, and will definitely not be the last.** Don't book with Travelcation. They are untrustworthy and have appalling customer service. I booked a flight for myself and my friend from North America to Europe. She tried her card three times but it wouldn't go through (despite their being excess funds and the bank confirming that there was no reason for it to not work) so I ended up booking it through mine. The next day I received an email saying that they tried to call me several times (I had no missed calls) and that they had to change the flight itinerary. I called them back and was moved around to several different representatives without explanation and at one point was sent back to the main phone recording asking me what I needed. Eventually I talked to someone and they said that the flight had changed and that there were not enough seats for the two of us. They said they would need to change our flights to a different departure time with a 9.5 hour layover and that we would have to pay an extra 200$ each. I said I was not interested in paying extra for a worse flight on a date I didn't want to depart on. I asked if the 200$ cost could be waived since this was an issue on their end and the representative told me that it was not their fault and the airline had just cancelled their seats and had no extra room. I then asked to speak to a manager and was told that I would be called back to get a resolution. I did not get called back but got a an email immediately afterwards that said my booking had been cancelled. I looked online and ended up booking the exact same flight with the same date and times with Expedia (for only 40$ extra). Do yourself a favour and avoid the headache. Don't book with Travelcation.
Negative experience: These guys are completely falsifying Information. They send me an invoice for one amount and try and charge another amount completely at an additional $2000 plus dollars. The agents on the phone would not even listen to my issues, they were rude and aggressive and just hung up the phone. I asked to email them a copy of the invoice that was sent and instead of listening to me one I sent it they canceled my reservation. Way better to pay a little bit more and go somewhere else. All their positive reviews are their own people. STAY CLEAR OF THIS SITE NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. Now I have to call my credit card to dispute charges for a flight I don't even have. This is absolutely crazy. Only reason I even tried booking with them is because they are listed on Google flights.
