Negative experience: Booked at one resort in Negril Jamaica and found later they booked us at wrong resort. Called and sent many emails to get no help. Worst customer service ever in all of our travels.

Negative experience: This hotel they sent me too was not up to par! It had spider webs in the door and in the bathroom. My daughter is allergic to spiders.we was literally in the room for 45mins and a spider fell on her. It was stains all on the ceiling where they tried to scrub mold out. We left the room and I sent an email. They responded they are waiting on the supplier. It's 2 weeks later and still haven't heard anything!! The room and the service travel up is providing is DISGUSTING. Save your money and run!!

Negative experience: I booked a room through TravelUp through the Trivago app and put the wrong check in date. I called within half an hour of booking and they are charging me an additional $99 to amend the date. They can't even explain to me why they want to charge me $99. I went back to the app and changed my dates and the price did not change. Customer service is horrible. NEVER again and I will warn everyone I know. Don't book through them. Update: the email terms of service says $44 for cancellation fee. The email I got from Bill Dawson says $44 to cancel $99 to change the date. But my cancellation confirmation says that the cancellation fee is $44 per person

Negative experience: Not happy. They should have made it MUCH MORE CLEAR that there is no refund if one cancels. I read unpleasant reviews about the hotel booked after the fact, my bad, but still.

Negative experience: I bought a little getaway weekend for myself, my wife, my daughter and my stepdaughter. My daughter and myself are Canadian citizens the other 2 are Dominican citizens. When I booked there was no questions of any nationality for me or my guests. When I went to check in today I was told that I would have to pay an extra 50 US per night per person that is not a foreigner. For 3 extra persons it would be an extra 450US but they were willing to not charge for my daughter even though I didnt have her passport avaiable...so 300 US is what they demanded to check in. Imagine discriminating towards your own nationals. I couldn't see spending that much more for a weekend. This booking company in no way informed me that you must be a foreigner to attend this hotel. I think I deserve a refund. My wife birthday weekend was ruined.

Negative experience: I made a reservation for 3 rooms for a family reunion but one of the persons I made it for canceled, so far it has been impossible to get in touch with anyone to make the change, I made the reservation with my credit card so it’s fully paid I’m afraid I will loose my money

Negative experience: Well read the fine print. Room was actually good and clean. But I paid a booking fee and “resort fee”. Then the hotel charges another resort fee triple what the original resort fee was. Don’t be fooled like me. Ask ask ask

Fantastic experience: I was a little skeptical to book my hotel with Travelup as the price they offered seems a little too good to be true in comparison to the other websites but we braved it. Jacob Miller was very responsive - even when I E-Mailed him at 11pm at night I got a response within 30 mins. We haven't left for our holiday yet but hopefully that shouldn't be a problem!

Negative experience: TravelUP was unable to process my credit cards (yes, cards, I tried 3). In the end this was sorted out with the assistance of customer support member Vimal Kishan. The above score reflect the quality of TravelUP's credit card handling software, not the customer support. Vimal was great.

Negative experience: First I was rebuffed at my reservation because it did not like my e-mail address. I was informed to use another. Then using an alternative e-mail the site froze up. Then exiting and re-entering I believe your website raised the cost which if confirmed, I would find quite disreputable. Fantastic experience: Travel up booking was fine ..but Wyndham hotel was very disappointing..first room we were given..the a/c in the room didn't work the remote for the t.v.was missing and so was the hair dryer for my wife..around midnight they gave us a room and this time the t.v. was missing and no hair dryer..the next night they gave us another room. On the 9th floor..it had a t.v. but it didn't work at all..beautiful hotel ..but someone needs to take time and check the rooms before the guests arrive

Negative experience: I will never use you guys again. My bank declined the first try because they thought it was fraud. I cleared that up. When I went back and hit the ok button to continue I didn't realize that it took my 2 younger daughters off of the itinerary. I realized immediately and called the number which was no help at all. The representative didn't help me at all. He said I could not amend my booking. It was the same price with them. Now I'm stuck in limbo. Positive experience: I just made reservations for a trip via TravelUp and I'm already cringing. Very uninformative regarding the reservation information provided. No hotel address, no hotel phone number, no hotel e-mail or contact info, no check-in or check-out times provided. They did send a PDF document which I thought would have the info I was looking for. Instead it looked like a multi-page legal document that will be used against me later. We'll see how this goes.

Negative experience: NO CANCELLATIONS OR CREDITS!!!! Beware! TravelUp will not offer credits or allow cancellations until they reach out to their supplier, as they are a 3rd party. You must cancel and incur a 100% penalty charge first and then they will contact the supplier and the hotel (which is their discretion) to potentially offer you some sort of credit. Don't lose your $$$$$. Book with ANYONE else. Use a company that can be flexible and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: I have used this service to book hotel stays three times. I always pay upfront because I plan to enjoy myself on getaways. Unfortunately my last trip was canceled due to unfortunate circumstances. I know the rules and understand the policies when booking at these great rates that I have received. Fantastic experience: We had issues as one of the agents TravelUp use for their hotel bookings suddenly ceased business and those bookings became invalid. I was contacted by Harley Winget from TravelUp who informed me of the issue and provided several alternative hotel options for us to select instead. Obviously this was not what we were hoping for but Harley was really helpful and promptly dealt with the issue and once I confirmed the hotel we wanted to book from the options provided she got the booking confirmed and sent me the hotel voucher. Positive experience: The hotel room I booked through TravelUp was unavailable due to a back-end error. Customer Service answered promptly and started working on re-booking me at another property. They were courteous. The communication could have been clearer as I had to call them a few times and they did not provide updates. But ultimately, they found a wonderful solution - much better than the initial property. Shah Rukh Shahid called me directly from UK (I was in the States) and managed the re-booking. The payment would not go through and the reason is the price for the double room went way up and was now non refundable. Fantastic experience: I wanted to review my reservation on the website and was told over and over it didn't exist. I sent a message to customer care and informed my reservation was confirmed. I was told the website was down for maintenance, which would have been nice to know upfront.
