Negative experience: ❌❌ Please don’t get fouled when you get attracted from those offers in Facebook or other platforms, especially if you really in need for vacation or looking for a getaways offers. Because you gonna go through a lots of back and forth calls until you get tired and lose your temper with no result just to finalise your booking. Then you will be robbed half what you paid easily when you ask for a cancelation and refund. Also you’ll be questioned for so many unnecessary personal details to provide, while you just need to do a normal booking process and get a confirmation as every travel agencies do. Stay away from those third party and book directly with hotels or well known travel apps, at least you’ll be clearly dealing with reservations if you have any issues. Clear and accepted! By the way! don’t foul me again by saying that, the reservation is with different company. If you’re interested to help the customer or to improve your services you should accept complains and provide service recovery to the client. The picture down is from one of the emails you sent and has proof of my purchase.

Negative experience: After confirming our itinerary etc, including the address of Tahiti Resort with lazy river, we were still placed at wrong resort and unable to change. I feel the agent only wanted a quick sale. I would not recommend.

Negative experience: Terrible, I had to sit through a presentation for the membership details and then after I decided I didn't want the membership I received nothing that was promised to me. No trip, no gift card, just a waste of my time and money.

Negative experience: 9/21 Purchased package via Facebook for Westgate - Las Vegas ($99) Apparently, after the phone screening, we didn't qualify per their qualifications, that wasn't included in the original ad. ♀️ Immediately, requested refund less than 48hrs after the purchase. They transferred us to an agent that , said we qualify for a different vacation certificate that requires $150 refundable deposit Well, that's nice, tho we don't have & don't want. She sent it anyway, so we called to reiterate that we only wanted the original package or a refund. They only offered us 50% return from $99 Why do we owe you %50 of anything, you said we didn't qualify, so We owe you for the telephone call They wasn't rude but for sure pressing, I spoke perfect English _ I Said REFUND _ she transferred me & submitted an alternative ; that supposedly is non_refundable because {Asking a Question} while Listening to their pitch _ Means that you ACCEPT their offer, is Exactly what the lady said. She said when they send you an email that that activates the package & therefore no refund. So, if you want a refund don't ask any questions, don't listen to their responses (she really is screening) cuz they are not listening to you. Keep saying refund , repeat until you see the email that says refund. Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!!!!!! Yes, the offer is good, but the customer service sucks! We booked back on June 25th for a 4 day/3 night package in Williamsburg. Our friends got one of their packages as well and booked for the same time in September. Their tour is Sunday, ours is Saturday, both at 1 pm. I tried and tried rescheduling to match theirs so we don’t waste a whole weekend (we’re doing Busch gardens tomorrow) and they simply refused! They don’t care about their customers, AT ALL and it shows!!!!!! If you don’t do the tour, you’re charged $660 plus tax for your stay of the room!!! THIS is not how you run a business. Whatever happened to making the customer happy VacationVIP, you will NOT get another dime from me, ever over this. What a waste of a weekend for TWO families that bought into your scams. PEOPLE, trust me when I say, RUN!!!! Do not get scammed by them. I’m currently on hold for the fourth time and no one can ever find our information when calling in… it’s oversees humans who don’t care and everything is read from a script. RUN!!!!

Negative experience: I saw an ad ran on Facebook and purchased a package to travel in September. I also purchased the vacation protection plan as well. Once my travel dates got near I called in to reschedule, due to schedule changes with work. I was then informed that I no longer qualified for trip and I could not even be rescheduled at a different location. The representative stated that the qualifications changed, but she was unable to list what the new qualifications were. When I asked if I would be refunded for the package I was told no. The rep stated that the package was non-refundable. I was transferred to customer service to see if they could answer some of the questions I had and she could not. She did refund me my travel protection plan, but she would not refund me for the vacation package. I then asked her why you are able to purchase the package if you aren't guaranteed to be approved. This is not right! You should not be able to purchase something with the hopes of traveling and not being able to get your money back when you get denied. If you are thinking about purchasing a package with them, don't!

Negative experience: Where do I start? I know this was a timeshare package. While most people don't look forward to them, I was actually interested. Charged an additional amount due to "holiday time." Take your money, then tell you there is an income qualification. From the moment we got to Westgate, the check-in staff did not direct us on where to go, and we ended up carrying our bags from one place to another then a guest explained to us how it worked. We went through Vacation VIP to book this and were promised Waterpark tickets after the presentation. We showed up 15 minutes before the presentation and found out that someone had "dropped the ball" at Vacation VIP and Westgate. Find out our tour was not until the day before our checkout, and we had paid planned excursions that day. Spent one and a half hours talking to Vacation VIP and guest services at Westgate, which did absolutely nothing. Jacob from VacationVIP told me I "wouldn't be punished" for them dropping the ball, and they will honor the rate I was given without having to do the presentation ( well, see about that). After I've spent nearly 2 hours in guest services and on the phone with Vacation VIP, SMH. We ended up buying tickets at the waterpark gate if you want to call it a water park. Where guest services wanted me to pay the "Owners rate" of $13 each, at the gate, it was $5 each. As a "resort" this along with the other amenities should be included. I stayed at airbnbs that offered better amenities than this so-called resort. At an Airbnb with condo association by Myrtle Beach, we had better amenities for free on the property, and the beach was five minutes away. Westgate in Orlando was an awful experience. From the staff to the room. Outdated, TV not smart, furniture, bathrooms, kitchen appliances, kitchenware, staff, and the list goes on. Buying a timeshare at Westgate is out of the question, with the experience we had, was not worth the money. I hope they read this and consider addressing the issues. As for Vacation VIP goes, I hope the are more transparent when booking and communicate with the resorts more fluently. I hope to hear from both, so something can be done to turn this awful experience around.

The are basically for upselling at the time of booking as well as at the time of when you actually call them for reservation. Dont wast your money. I had a prepaid vacation and called them to make a reservation and they told me that we are party of 5 and must upgrade and it will cost you $450 more. What a scam!

Negative experience: We saw the cheap deal on Facebook, thought that it would be a good gift for my daughter's grad. Paid $197 upfront in January for travel in July. Knew it was a tour as they asked for our income and they said we qualified. Paid an extra $39 to change the dates. They said just confirm a week before hand. Which I did and was asked the same questions. My husband already booked the time off from work. We booked 3 flights! They also promised us a $100 gift card. The flyer showed a fun waterside park. When we got there to the resort, they said the Waterpark is not included. We aren't doing a tour, we have to pay resort fees, as we are not doing a tour. I said what about the$100 gift card? He said it was a third party website that booked us. I said don't they work for you guys? He said yes, and perhaps you don't qualify, as it's pending. I said you didn't know we were coming? He said we knew, just call the Welcome center. So we call and the lady says she doesn't know, and I can talk to the manager. She put me on hold forever. We go down to the Welcome center stand in line, and ask to speak to a manager. The lady just talks to the manager and I asked who the main manager was, which was the guy that was busy. The girl says she can get us the incentives but we can't do it until tomorrow. My husband was upset as we wanted two days and only would have two days left. So the lady had security give us a number to call. I called and the guy said talk to our broker which was Vacation VIP again, and I got a strange recording. I call back customer service and the guy was nicer said he would fix everything. He told me to go back to the Welcome center, there were two tours we could go to, we went back and the manager, said we can't have a tour. Tried to say we were aggressive. Oh brother. Long story short we flew a long way, didn't get what was promised, took time off of work, and no gift card or Waterpark!

Negative experience: I'm fine with going on to a 2hour timeshare intro what I do not agree is at the website they do not inform you that you must qualify for this deal and the only way to qualify if you make $60,000 plus a year. They will ask you these personal and more detail questions when you call to make reservations if you do not answer or you do not make that much money you automatically can't reserve because you don't qualify.

Negative experience: SCAM. They send you terms and conditions AFTER you’ve been charged. Keeps passing me from rep to rep trying to burn me out. Although the T&C’s they send you state you can cancel within 30 days it’s a lie My CC was charged on 5/22 and I’ve called over and over and keep getting disconnected and hung up on. Intend to file with Florida Attorney Generals office. Ignore the BBB rating as the BBB is a subscription membership service. Will be notifying Bank of unauthorized charges.UPDATE. Negative experience: They promised us a nice resort in Fort Lauderdale. I booked with them and called several times to give me the resort name but they said I need to wait. I was there at welcome centre and received the information. The place they offered us was so bad that I even don’t book it for an over night stay on a road trip. It was a motel not a resort. All truck drivers there and not a family place at all. I wish the management reach out to me and explain why they did this to my family. We did come all the way from Canada to stay in a dirty motel. I am so upset. I complained to welcome centre but they told me I need to reach out to vacation VIP for any complaints. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: So at first I thought this whole set up was a scam right? Because they call from different numbers with different accents talking about all these deals that seem too good to be true. Honestly, this will be the second vacation I've taken practically for free this year outside of travel cost and I love it. You have to make 80k a year to qualify for the deals and attend presentations but it's totally worth it. Give these guys a chance. VACATION VIP is amazing!!!

Positive experience: I found that it was very difficult to get in contact with anyone for quite a while. They have you call and it tells you that your number eight in line on the phone for an hour on hold to get to number one in line then it sent me to a voicemail to leave a message for a call back. Did not receive a call back so I called again and was number four in line and it also tells you that you can have them call you back and not lose your place in line if you press these numbers so I did that and never received a phone call back for over 2 hours I waited. Called again and I was the first person in line still waited on the phone for an hour on hold went to voicemail again. I did try calling again yesterday and I actually got through and got answered and everything was taken care of in 5 minutes but they really do need to follow up when they say they're going to make a phone call and return it or hold your spot in line I actually spent six hours waiting on hold and waiting for a phone calls to come in.

I have really never had this experience with any representative before. It's not like ok I'm here to book you and here is what we have and you are on your way, no! Never booked my vacation even though i was on the phone with them for over an hour, only to find out the following week that it wasn't booked and they claim they could not refund me. Negative experience: Biggest scam ever!!! Do not buy anything from this company! They will give you a 30 day return policy, but not tell you about it(just put it in some fine print), then give you the run around for 30 days so it will pass your allotted policy timeframe, so they can just keep your money. I will make sure to give them a 1 star review everyday, until they return my money.

Negative experience: Purchased a package , went to book and were told part of the package did not exist anymore. The tickets were not part of the package anymore and that was it. Supervisor got on the phone eventually promised us another couple nights stay to use at a later date. That turned out to be a line of BS as it did not get included with the notification sent to us, nor is it in the system. Be cautious and be sure you immediately get in writing what you are promised, even that did not help with the tickets as we had that in writing. I have the supervisor's name but of course no one has heard of her.

Negative experience: Horrible Experience. I paid the money to book a resort and participate in a tour. When it was time to book it, they said I did not qualify but referred me to bluegreen vacations. The same representative talked to me the entire time but never told me she was booking me for a HOTEL ROOM not a resort. When I called bluegreen vacations I get the run around and no clear communication about cancelling or re-scheduling and how much it would cost or what the fees would be. They told me I needed to "call this number" yet the number kept sending me right back to them and they said I would need to pay extra to upgrade to the resort yet thats what I originally paid for. I asked if I could reschedule, they said I would cost me an additional $99 since it was so close (I only booked it a few days prior). I keep getting the run around and have never had any clear communication. Now instead of the nice resort I thought I was booking, they put me at this cheap hotel that can't even fit all of us and tell me I have to pay additional to cancel.

We reviewed the calls you had with our agents, and found the agent who assisted you did a superb job in explaining the terms of the swap and making sure you understood the terms before agreeing to them. We investigated your booking and found the following: you initially purchased a package for two adults and two children but later requested accommodations for three adults. However, due to not being qualified, which is required to qualify for the exclusive highly-discounted vacation rate, the request for an additional adult was not feasible. During the conversation, you inquired about the specific hotel, and our representative informed you that the accommodations were in a standard hotel room. It was also mentioned that the hotel had transitioned its services from Westgate to Bluegreen. You were offered rebooking protection, which would have provided flexibility in case of any changes or cancellations, but you declined the offer. Our representative then explained the cancellation fees to you. Since the booking was made close to your travel dates, cancellation would incur a fee because we are charged by the hotel for late cancellations. We hope this clarifies any confusion. Positive experience: You get what you pay for. I bought a package online for $99 and upgraded sometime later (I can't recall the amount paid, but it was $100 or less). I booked my vacation for my son's birthday to Orlando in October 2022. The weeks leading up to that vacation, we were all on hurricane watch. Days before, it was a hurricane warning. I called to move my package to Myrtle Beach, SC due to weather. I explained all of this to the woman I spoke to. She confirmed my package... We drive 3hrs+ to MB, only to find out there is no reservation. Caked them and they tell me, nope, there's no way she could've booked it because the package was for Orlando only. I said since you all record calls, please have a supervisor check the call and I'll wait. I waited and they came back with the same dumb response so I asked to escalate it. They did, new person said they listened with their supervisor and apologize they heard when I explained what I wanted and why. So for my troubles since I can't stay in MB, they'll upgrade my room even further, still give me my $100 GC & Waterpark tix, just call within xyz time to book. I called in March 23 and was then told, "Well, they just made changes and can't accommodate my previously confirmed upgrade". After refusing to accept yet another unsatisfactory response, they extended the package for 2 more days so I ended up with 1 week's worth of vacation. Their customer service is poor honestly and I'm assuming they're probably trained to just say no from the get go instead of truly fulfilling the customer's need. Anyways, you get what you pay for. And don't forget the brutal timeshare presentation you must go thru for the package (this I was 100% ready for). I do hope they read this and do better for their customers.

We found out it was not all inclusive after contacting our resort directly...oh and finding that they onsold the booking to another party. When we spoke on the recorded call, you agreed to swapping your package to another resort partner. Negative experience: Please do not book with this company. I booked a 8 day/7 night land and sea trip through VacationVip, which I found out is a subsidiary of Take A Break Travel, Inc. Keep in mind that there are no terms and conditions listed on the booking page. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the terms and conditions. It was at this time I realized the trip was actually book through Take A Break Travel. Based on the terms and conditions (which includes a ton of hidden fees), I decided to cancel the trip. The terms stated you could call the number provided or send a written letter to the address provided within 30 days to cancel and receive a refund. When calling the number provided, I was informed that they only handle reservations and was given another number to call to cancel. I then called that number, and that representative gave me another number to call to cancel. This phone tag went on multiple times, which each person telling me they don’t handle cancellations. I then decided to put the cancellation in writing and mail to the address provided before the 30 days. Afterwards, I called the company again, and was told by a representative that they would not be refunding my payment because it was now after the 30 days, and they hadn’t received my certified letter regarding the cancellation because “everyone is working from home and no one is in the office to check the mail”. This is a very long and lengthy way to say, if you want to avoid a headache and inconvenience, PLEASE DON’T BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Negative experience: We will follow suit and report to better business bureau and leave this Google review. Do not book through them. They take your money and you get the run around and no follow up when trying to refund the trip. Each person we’ve talked has told us a different story and they’ve hung up and put us back in the cue each time we try to resolve the situation. Negative experience: Company contacted after I left negative reviews on Google and BBB. They did refund money as they should have, but somehow i feel as though the negative customer service i experiences calling will not change. The behavior of the agents that i spoke with treated me with so much disregard its like it was second nature to them. Thanks for making things write but please train your Front line reps to not play games with peoples time and request. Being transferred 6 times in a row is unacceptable.

Negative experience: Made the mistake of booking through them. I bought the package for $100 but paid an additional $300 for upgrades and additional days. They were super sweet during the process to take my money. I called tonight to cancel my reservation as there is a chance that Florida will be hit by a hurricane next week. I'm pregnant and do not want to risk being stuck in a hurricane. I can't reschedule as I'm having a baby and this was suppose to be a baby moon. I explained this situation. To two different representatives and all I heard was you're canceling last minute and we are about to close and it's not refundable because it's last minute. I kept explaining that it's last minute because I didn't there will be a hurricane until now. The response was, well the hurricane us two days away and we are about to close so you can cancel and reschedule but no refund. The rudest agent ever with no care for the customer. WILL NEVER make the mistake of booking with then again. They just want to make money. They could've offered a return for the upgrades I made but no, they were closing in 3 minutes...

Our customer service agents, and reservations department that assisted you stated the terms and explained that we can cancel your reservation as well as get a refund for the upgrades, but the package itself is nonrefundable. At that time, you agreed to keep things as they are on the original reservation and even though you wanted the upgrades for hurricanes if it came near by, (cancellations aren’t allowed anytime before check-in). At the time of your call, the hurricane had not been confirmed. You contacted us during the time that the resort partner had closed, which is why you were unable to change your reservation. Following our communication, it appears you have kept the reservation as is. We are deeply sorry about this matter, but we hops this helps to clarify any questions you may have had. We appreciate your feedback, and will pass this along to the appropriate team.

Negative experience: Super frustrating experience. I referred several families to a deal that VacationVIP was having and they told me as a result they would upgrade me to a booking with a plunge pool and a kitchen. I arrive to Mexico and check in and they front desk tells me my booking will not include those items. I spent an hour on hold and talking back and forth with vacationVIP and some other confused company called advantage services. They were all confused and kept transferring me back and forth because they couldn’t find my booking. (#904792) I referred business (several families) to vacationVIP and they didn’t hold up their end of the agreement. I am currently checked in to a room that doesn’t match what was verbally promised. There is still time for them to fix this. If they don’t make this right, I will never be using or recommending there service to anyone in the future.

Negative experience: Super negative experience with these guys. We were supposed to receive an upgrade to our reservation for referring several families to one of their deals. We arrived in Mexico and to our surprise, the reservation wasn’t even close to what they said it was. After being transferred with their customer service (5 times with some pretty confused representatives) we were unable to find a solution that matched what we had been originally told. Not only will we never use VacationVIP ever again, but we can’t recommend it to anyone in good conscience. If you can’t take good care of a customer that refers you business, then there isn’t much good to be said.

Negative experience: I have been promised to stay at a hotel with all inclusive and by the ocean... this is the only vacation for me this year and I wanted it to be relaxing and wonderful. When I arrived, the place was Not what I was promised and described over the phone at all!!! Not only that when I called they were rude and didn't want to even meet me half way to make my vacation better, they completely ignored my attempts to ask for refund of another package I have left with their agency. they also make it mandatory to go to a Time share presentation! Otherwise it's a 450$ fee that they tell about later after you purchase the package. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! Use travel agents or even Expedia is better)))

Negative experience: These guys are super friendly up front, but the second they have your money, they ghost. They've had my money for over a year, and I can't get anyone to turn my funds into a vacation. It takes a while to get a human on their toll free number. Once I do (and I've wasted dozens of hours trying) every last one of them promises they will be the one to make it right, and then I never hear from them again. If you value good service after the sale, find someone else
