Negative experience: Never sent vouchers for Disney world. The morning came we were supposed to be at Disney and the office was closed and when you call it says to message on Instagram or Facebook but nobody responds. I wouldn't recommend!! They ruined our vacation and took a day away from us.

Fantastic experience: Silly me booked wrong vacation (Disney in CA instead of Orlando). Amber Cole helped me out in weekend 1 day before my trip. Can’t believe it. Best travel agent I have been with.

Fantastic experience: We found out about Get Away Today Vacations by watching Provost Park Pass on YouTube, with that channel being one of the best Disney park blogs. So we thought we’d give Get Away Today a try. The first time we tried to use them was a couple years ago for Disneyland Paris. Unfortunately, due to some system glitches on Disney’s side, Get Away was able to help but not book our itinerary. Despite this, the person helping us (Brooklyn) provided amazing and prompt customer service. So when it came time to book a new trip to Disney World, we reached out again. This time we worked with Brooke on our plans. We had an idea of what we wanted but Brooke was able to chat with us and provide a variety of options. In speaking with Brooke, we could tell the company has a good handle on all things Disney. But the icing on the cake is the help we received by using their concierge service. The team was able to secure all our requested restaurant reservations and lightning lane bookings without us having to get up extremely early. All of this was done with great service and a friendly demeanour. So many thanks to Brooke, Brooklyn, and Ella for helping get our family ready for our trip!

Fantastic experience: We were booked at the Clementine Hotel & Suites from 9/15-9/19. We had never stayed here before but could pass up the price we got. After checking into our hotel room today, we soon realized my autistic son was able to reach the lock on the door and elope. He was able to do this multiple times no matter what we did to stop him. It was almost 7pm at that point and the phones for getaway today were closed. In a panic I decided to head to instagram and saw the getawaytoday account as active. I sent a message and explained the situation. Erica was so kind and understanding and was able to get us a full refund from the Clementine Hotel and waived the cancellation fee for us to change hotels. We did not purchase the peace of mind plan this trip like we usually do so being able to have that fee waived was a blessing. From one mom to another, I am able to sleep soundly tonight knowing my child will not be able to open the door lock at the hotel we are at now. I am literally in awe of how amazing her customer service was! She didn’t have to waive the cancellation fee, but she did. Traveling with a special needs child is not easy by any means and Erica helped relieve that anxiety for us. We will be forever customers!

She changed my tickets to a cheaper price when the sale started after the initial purchase. Will use them for future trips.

After looking at reviews I went ahead and booked our trip through get away today. The process was seamless. The communication was excellent. We didn't run into any snags. The instructions on how to book your reservations with Disneyland were clear. No hidden fees or surprise charges. Get away today took care of everything. We just paid and showed up. We have a family of 6 and we need every discount we can get. Get away today allowed me to have an unforgettable family vacation at a reasonable price and will be a staple for vacation planning moving forward.

Positive experience: We booked some Disney tickets somewhat last minute and had issues with the payment card. But once I got in touch with Amber on a Sunday, in need of getting it sorted urgently she responded very quickly and we had the problem solved within about 5mins.

Fantastic experience: I needed to buy tickets for Disneyland. I had used a different site several times before, but Get Away Today proved to cost a little less! On June 2nd, we noticed a credit card charge more than it should be. Some quick research found the problem (it was my fault), but looked like it should be easily solved. Next morning, I called and waited on hold for about 15 minutes. A very pleasant lady (I unfortunately can't remember her name) finally answered. I told her my dilemma. Within 10 minutes, corrections were made and the problem was solved! Ta da. I even got a conformation email telling me so. I mention this because the invoice also showed they waived the cancelation fee! Will I use them again? Pretty sure I will!

Positive experience: Don’t expect to save much unless you are spending a lot and bundling with hotel stays. For a family of 6 to go to Disney for 2 days with Genie Plus it would cost close to $1200. If we use Getaway Today to book the tickets we save a whopping $12. They are however an honest company with a good reputation so I gave them 4 stars.

Positive experience: Got Disney tickets from them for spring break... However when I went to try to make reservations for Disney they were sold out and the parks were both not available. Not the websites fault but I do need to contact them to see what I can do about these tickets I couldn't use.

Positive experience: Great place to get hotels and tickets for high demand places like Anaheim and San Diego. The prices are higher than they used to be, but that's true everywhere, so I guess they can't be faulted for that.

Fantastic experience: Planning WDW trips are daunting. Normally I book everything myself, but with WDW you have to be careful you’re not missing anything. Get Away Today took care of everything for me. Once I booked the trip, there was another layer of questions that evolved. Their concierge service is what made the difference for me. Brooke was awesome; she explained the bus system, the services, the hotel, and most importantly, the tech issues. She walked me through the app, magic bands, and reservations. She went through everything step by step as I actually input everything while on the phone with her. She didn’t make me feel incompetent and never rushed me. It felt like you were talking to a friend. A very patient friend. Travel agencies are everywhere. But ones that personalize their services are rare. Fantastic experience: Erica was beyond wonderful. She helped us when we were scrambling, one day before our trip to Legoland Florida. She was very professional and prompt. She was also very knowledgeable. There was an issue with my tickets and she was kind enough to help me right away. She even adjusted the price of the tickets for me due to a glitch in the system. Tickets were delivered right away and I had no issue at the counter. The tickets were one of the lowest price I could find online after doing days worth of research. Fantastic experience: I've used Getaway Today for two Disney vacations so far, with another coming up. The first two were to Disneyland; the upcoming is a cruise. Across the board, GAT agents are efficient and courteous. When we had to postpone our 2022 trip due to Covid, our agent was very gracious and patient to help us change our trip dates. For our cruise, Makenna Smith has been a solid agent. She has fielded all of my questions in an efficient and gracious manner. I will continue to use GAT for Disney trips. They make it so seamless.

I used them for my Disney World tickets and had a teeny tiny issue booking and they were so quick to help me fix it and make it so easy. I love the discounts, the customer service is unmatched, and as a Disney adult who doesn't get to go nearly as much as I would like, they really take the hassle our of buying tickets. I also booked a room at one of the resorts for a couple days before our park tickets and I was able to chat with Erica who got me set up in about 10 minutes. Positive experience: They are a good company that my family has used in the past. Just booked a trip two months away and found out that you can find a better deal on hotels they aren't partnered with. Tried to cancel the hotel part and keep our tickets, but it's $250 even though it's still two months away. Is it partially my fault? Yes. That's why I'm still leaving 3 stars and not 1. Forcing people to stick with you through stupid fees isn't going to want them to ever use you again.

We arrived at our hotel and they gave us the wrong kind of room and said we can’t switch it so I called and spoke to David at Get Away Today and he said he’d call the hotel and see what he could do, he promptly called me back and said there was a mistake that couldn’t be fixed but he would refund my Peace Of Mind trip insurance which to me was worth more than the difference in hotel rooms that we originally requested. I highly recommend these guys for your Disneyland vacations if you have no clue what you’re doing and want an easy booking process,

Fantastic experience: I love this website! I’ve booked through them a couple times, and it’s always super easy, and at least a hundred dollars cheaper than using the Disneyland website! If you call they’re really friendly too! I always buy gift certificates throughout the year as savings, then apply them towards my vacation when it’s time to book, I love that feature and it makes it MUCH easier to make my vacation actually happen lol.

Positive experience: I have used Get Away Today for many years. Their team is amazing. Here is what I have found as someone who travels to Disney 5+ times a year. They are not the cheapest in all cases. If you go through Costco, and or the Disneyland/World website. I have typically found it to be cheaper through those other sites. Please do your due diligence and research- I have not found GATV to be the, "Best Prices" in all cases. Great company and great service. Just shop around in my personal opinion if you are looking for better pricing.

Negative experience: My sister and I both booked a cruise through Get Away Today Vacations. We each had a guaranteed balcony room which apparently means you get an obstructed view. We both called and she was able to get moved to a better balcony room but I was told there was nothing that could be done without upgrading and paying thousands more for both my husband and I. We will never use this company again.

Negative experience: We booked with Getaway today 8 years ago and were so pleased with their service! We got our tickets sent in the mail with lanyards for our tickets and other goodies. It was so convenient to not have to do any planning and trust in their services. Fast forward to the trip we booked before Christmas...we had absolutely no services rendered for us. We booked online. Had to print out our vouchers ourselves and then TODAY, days before our trip, were informed we had to make park reservations on our own. Apparently we got an email detailing this but as I read through THE INCREDIBLY SMALL print it didn't make much sense to me at all. I think getaway today should have made it abundantly clear we were supposed to do this on our own. And to add to our problems, of course the park is out of reservations for the days we had booked. Absolutely ridiculous. I am really not pleased with Getaway today and will not recommend their services anymore. Honestly, we could have gotten the kids discount on the Disneyland website. What a joke.

I had already booked a stay at Disney World and when a 30% off promotion came up they immediately applied it to my reservation for me saving me over $360. I really appreciated that because I otherwise wouldn’t have even known. I highly recommend booking through Get Away Today

Negative experience: They do not care . I called with all the issues we were having and was told too bad that’s not their problem. See photos of the conditions of the hotel we were put in. You are better off finding another agency to get Disney tickets and go online for Hotels. The Hotel did get us a different room that was in a bigger wreck then the 1st however the water is not black out of the faucets. DO NOT USE GET **** TODAY. The are in Ogden Utah not a good company have a video of the black water GROSS

This company smashes Costco out of the park for what they offer with their packages. We appreciated the emails along the way to remind us what we needed to do in advance. My only small suggestion is not to affiliate yourselves with the ART transit service for Disneyland packages, the ART is unreliable, horribly organized, and comes nowhere close to the level of service you provide!!

We’ve used Get Away Today more than a dozen times over the years and each time it’s been a wonderful experience—we won’t buy Disney accommodations or tickets anywhere else. I used them again today to book Disney World and had a small problem related to the date we requested for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party—their website showed the date we wanted as available, but unfortunately that night was sold out once they requested the tickets from Disney. Erica bent over backwards helping us get tickets for another night we’ll be in Orlando. She was super responsive through their text option (including after hours by almost an hour and a half) and was proactive finding a solution that met our needs. We recommend Get Away Today to everyone we know and now to Google as a whole .

Positive experience: I've often found great deals for Disneyland here and would recommend it for a Disneyland vacation. However, when it comes to disney world, I find better deals from disney directly and usually can do layaway and plan easier so I prefer to book directly when going to Disney world.
