Negative experience: STOP PAYING PREMIUM INSURANCE. I HAVE A CASE WITH MY SON AUDI AND THE INSURANCE AS DELAYED TO FIXED, more than 2 months… I pay $7k a year for my cars and for this is not working. I never have any kind of problem and when do I need it is not responding. Bad insurance partner with European Collision.
Fantastic experience: My great grandmother passed on her 26 yr member ship to me and I am more than grateful for the peace of mind that it provides also I was able to provide AAA to my fiance. I cannot believe I ever considered another company for insurance. 4 free 100 miles tows is better than a lot of these other insurance services can say for themselves.

Fantastic experience: My family has been loyal members for over 50 years. We appreciate the customer service here. The lines or wait time is never long and the staff is friendly and helpful. I've been here to purchase amusement park tickets and for passport photos. Looking forward to booking future travel plans. Convenient location and lots of parking. I also like that they offer complimentary water.
Fantastic experience: Went to renew my registration at dmv section of autoclub..Dennis was great and very courteous he even ordered me a another membership card because I misplaced mine..my experience with Dennis left me leaving happy....hes a great guy...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Negative experience: I been a member for 28 year .. the pass 10 year triple A roadside service has been shitty I am very unsatisfied... just Now I been waiting for 3 plus hours in a 114 ° weather and I have been passed around to 5 different tow companies this has happened multiple times in the pass 10 years . Triple A roadside service needs to work on some new things ..
Negative experience: Been here third day in a row because their systems go down and they say it can be “down for 10 minutes or down for 5 hours” and then grumpy lady checks me in but it doesn’t go through so I sit here for 20 minutes before they tell me I have to check in again? It’s like going back in time with their old office and balloons and old systems and computers. Avoid it.

Fantastic experience: It only took 10 minutes to pay my truck registration and receive the tags. I could not do that thru the DMV. The staff was courteous and fast to service me. Thank you for turning my dreaded errand into a success.

Negative experience: I will never do business with AAA insurance. Their agent Richard Pacheco is terrible and refuses to return calls and provides false information . There are many other options , I’d suggest you consider those .
Negative experience: Went to this brunch and was helped by Derek knight. He was very rude and not helpful at all. When I asked for a manager he said that there was no manager on site and started arguing with me at this point he also threatened me. This was an-unpleasant experience and horrible customer service. I pay so much money each for my vehicle each month to be treated this way.
Negative experience: Would not let anyone into the lobby until 9:01am even though we were in a torrential downpour & getting soaked. Also, refusing payment by credit card ~ cash or check only. Ridiculous. Will be canceling my membership. Their customer service used to be great, but it has gone downhill.
Negative experience: 12-18-24 8:10 pm. I have waited for 1 hour and 25 minutes for a jump start from Finish Line Tow. They have still have not arrived. I would give a zero rating, but it is not selectable. This level of service is not acceptable for AAA. And AAA has not found another provider to jump start my car. Totally unacceptable. Update, it is now 9:19 pm. First, the tow was for 9:23 pm, now the ETA is 10:36 pm.

Fantastic experience: AAA Driving School was a pleasant experience and very helpful in the process of educating and guiding my student Great access, and times made it easy to complete as well as the knowledgeable instructors which were always, prompt courteous and helpful Would use again if needed, this was my second child using the driving school program and the on-line classes were also helpful on providing the necessary guidance knowledge and info to obtain DMV permit
Fantastic experience: Was a bit hesitant about coming here to get a international driver's permit based on the most recent reviews, however I decided to take the plunge anyways. Overall, it was a great and smooth experience as I was checked in by the front desk reception, told to wait for about 15-20 mins, and was helped with getting that permit. I was out of there in less than hour, which was super duper awesome! I did come here somewhat earlier in the day at around 10am so not sure if that played a part in it, but still super satisfied with the hassle free customer service for the service that I needed.
Negative experience: Quality of customer service has gone really down. People sound rude and disgruntled on the phone like they're force to be there. What ever happened to quality of customer service? I guess they're hiring younger folks now who feel entitled and lack empathy and training for the classic customer service we use to get. AAA has the audacity to give out diamond ratings when they probably should evaluate their own employees and customer service satisfaction.
Negative experience: Been 2 months trying to resolve an issue with their tow provider damaging my car. (Caught on video) Andrea Black has completely ignored numerous calls and emails. Her mailbox is almost always full. However, if you do leave a message she isn't going to respond. Furthermore, whenever attempting to contact a customer relations manager I am met with absolutely zero response from anyone on the triple AAA team. This is absolutely horrendous customer service. Looks like I'll have to come in person to rectify a problem that should of been rectified 2 months ago!

Negative experience: Mu father went to go make a change in his policy , they had him sot and wait for 2 hours and when he finally asked when he would be helped they gave him a card and call . So unprofessional . Never recommending this place

Negative experience: I have had very good experiences with AAA but on this particular day, it was bad service. My vehicle needed a battery and I called and requested one. The dispatcher said they do not have any. I will reach out to others and see if they have one. I waited a long time and cancelled the call. They sent me a survey and I gave my input and it asked how old are you? What does this have to do with your bad service?
Fantastic experience: You know I just resigned up again with AAA and I have been with them or not been with them or whatever but I'm about to plan a trip but I'm looking forward to going in there and getting all the help that I need to make it smooth so I like AAA
Fantastic experience: Passport photos were needed, so I came to my closest AAA branch in Long Beach. There was a bit of a wait, which is understandable for a Friday...waited at least 25 minutes, and a AAA Employee came up to me to offer a free reusable bag. I let her know that I had been waiting, and she immediately assisted me with taking my pics for my Passport. Ashley, newly employed, went above and beyond for me and provided nothing less than superior customer service and care, and it's things like this that I really appreciate ... Thank you Ashley for your time and assistance .
Fantastic experience: I was able to take care of two different things while I was at AAA. It took less than a hour to do both things. Very one I talked with where super friendly and very helpful. Thanks AAA.
Negative experience: Hoping for a competent manager to reach out, as my representative Dimetrios and his managers Venessa and Adam are impossible to get a hold of. This entire branch needs intensive training on the customer support experience. I will update this review with the entire experience shortly.
Fantastic experience: We have used AAA So Cal travel agents over a 25 year period and found their non commissioned salaried agents extremely helpful. Pam Harden at the Long Beach office helped us through the multiple cancellations on foreign travel during 2020 2021 due to COVID…saved us lots of money. Think of how much resolving AAA travel clients issues means to tour companies. Do think that travel companies care as much about your small independent agent’s request to resolve an issue? Negative experience: After 31 years of paying on time. They would not let me register my car cause the policy expired and they needed 27$ to help me out. Them pretty gold cards with all your years of paying in a big red number have no value to the Automobile Club of California. Bye
Negative experience: I cannot express enough how immensely disappointed I am with their insurance and dmv division after my first insurance renewal. The fact that I paid my full year of insurance a month early, and registration early, in April when it was due in May...well here comes the end of June and I have to take time off work (unnecessary lost wages) to drive to this location to pick up tags that have still not been sent to me, I get pulled over for expired tags in the AAA driveway and given a ticket for expired tags. Long Beach court wants me to pay 25 dollars to fix it. Because you AAA failed to send my information over in a timely manner to get my tags, I am willing to cancel my entire year membership and ask for a full refund and take my business elsewhere because I absolutely refuse to pay 25 dollars for a ticket I never should've received and I absolutely refuse to lose more wages to go to court to pay this fine. So, how will this be fixed? What's up? You guys dropped the ball and I have paper trail proof you did.
Negative experience: I am no longer sure about triple A membership or any of their services. They contacted a tow company to toe my vehicle. the driver refused to take it to the destination that was request by meself and noted by the agent. The driver took it to another place without my permission. When I called the next day and told the company I wanted to have my vehicle towed out if their they said if I did bot agree to have it fixed at their shop they would charge me storage fees for every day it was in their yard. When I asked triple A for their help and to reimburse me for that ransom that the autoshop.was extorting me for the agent said it was not her problem. I should not have it towed their. However if she would have looked at the notes on the call she would have known the details, which I explained anyway. She still refused.the next day I called another number of a different supervisor.she was more understanding amd said she would investigate and see what she could do and was goingto try and help me get the vehicle back without having to pay the rasom. However we got disconnected near the end of the call and when she called back I missed the call and her voicemail said to call the 800 number. All I had was her first name (Brenda). As helpful as she was no one else at triple a has seemed to be as helpful. One person st the Long Beach branch did offer some help and advice but he said unfortunately I would have to pay the auto place to get my car back even though this was not my fault. I did not choose the towing company or the mechanic. Teiple A who I trusted are the one who hired the tow truck on contract and it's on them when it turns out that the company does not have reputable drivers who cheat unsuspecting individuals. It's a scam.done by some shops wherethey offer kickbacks to tow truck drivers to bring them cars instead of delivering them to other shops even if its against the request if the vehicle owner. So far triple A has not been very helpful and in many ways they have been more hurtful. If this is not rectified I will be looking into legal recourse.
Negative experience: 5/19/22- AAA did not provide road side assistance regarding a flat tire. Initial call 5:30 pm. 3.5 hours went by without a courtesy update or general safety concern check-in. Several calls to the So-Cal AAA agents were made by both my husband and I, the feedback was he was put on the urgent priority list and/or truck driver didn't have the proper equipment. Each call placed to AAA during this timeframe lasted on average 25 minutes. My husband's life was in danger as he sat on a dark, busy highway. He ultimately made the decision to drive on a rim to a safe location. Contact with supervisor Marx was initiated by us at approximately 9:00 pm. Marx stated, "the tow truck driver who picked up our call inexplicity stopped working." He gave a rather dry apology and directed us to call the customer experience department, but failed to provide us with the number. 5/23/22- contact to AAA at approximately 8:15 am was initiated by myself. Supervisor Brenda took our complaint and offered a compensation apology and upgraded us to a premium plus membership for May-Jan. She stated the cards would be mailed out soon. We inquired a true full years premium plus membership at minimum for their lack of customer care and AAA leaving my husband on the side of the road helpless for over 3 hours. Brenda stated she would ask her supervisor for the full year plan and get back to us. 5/26/22- Brenda has not reached back out with any updates. 5/26/22- At approximately 4 am, my husband unfortunately got another flat and called AAA. He waits over 2.5 hours for a tow. The tow truck driver discloses that AAA did not put the call into his que until 6:45 am. Again, no courtesy call update or safety check-in by AAA. During this time I notify my husband that our plan online still reads classic membership. We realized he needed to make an immediate call to AAA explaining once again the incident that took place on 5/19 and this morning, and get a supervisor to over-ride the classic membership mileage coverage and grant the enhanced premium plus mileage coverage, authorized to us by Brenda. Ultimately, the mileage needed to get his car home was granted. 5/26/22- My husband called AAA after the morning incident to file another roadside complaint regarding the 2.5 hour wait time. He called in, while I listened. He was put in touch with Noemi. She disclosed she was working from the So-Cal Long Beach region/city. Noemi said that both complaints will be handled by a case counselor. Per Noemi a case counselor reviews documentation, complaints and compensation. They have more power than she or Brenda to make decisions. Noemi said a case counselor needs to be assigned before our cards can begin to be processed. As of 5/23 a case counselor is still pending and has not yet been assigned. Brenda neglected to share any of this information on our 5/23 call with her. We asked Noemi for her direct number for any future support, or the case counselor departments number, but she adamantly stated, " I am not authorized to give you that information." I inquired about being provided a point of contact e-mail to a helpful supervisor or case counselor, but again she rejected this. 5/26/22- My husband realizes he needs to get a rent a car to commute to work. Under the premium plus plan that Brenda verbally authorized, is a free day rental. However, because our account still reads classic member this posed another issue. My husband made a call to AAA, and after being on hold for over 30 minutes was denied a rental car. There again was no further solutions or support. I made contact with Lakeisha at the Long Beach branch at 9:47 am, and explained the entire AAA roadside assistance history issues again, and requested that she please help get us reconnected to Noemi or Marx. After being placed on hold for 40 min, Lakeisha said Noemi was the emergency roadside service supervisor and who I needed to speak with in regards to possibly working something out to get my husband a rental. She said, "Noemi will call you back within 5 minutes." I have not receive a call or message.

Negative experience: This grade is based upon a certIain employee That is a insurance Adjuster by the name of Brittany Garcia She is very rude and has no customer service skills she never answers her phone and when I leave voice-mail she says she didn't receive it she needs to be fired or retrained.
Negative experience: I am so done with you guys!!!!! I can’t believe no one is able to help me run from location to location and there is no claims department! The person you dedicated to my claim had the most horrible customer service her name is Jennifer Keatley and after all the money I pay monthly for yours services never been late never complained always follow what you said to do and I am done.

Negative experience: Called the travel department and spoke to Jenna. I explained I was in a few months ago to get a trip planned out for Florida. Was told at that time to call back and get road conditions before I hit the road. I called today but Jenna was no help said I needed to look the information up by myself. I thought that’s what her job was to help us out when needed.
Positive experience: Good, fast service. They do not take credit cards or ATM cards but they have very misleading signage that says they do. And, why don't they?
Negative experience: It turned out that my Car registration/ insurance was never completed on their part. Meaning, the whole time I was driving my car with my paper with PROOF of insurance, it would have never qualified because it doesn't show on their end. This also goes for Triple AAA in general, after getting the home owners insurance ... IT WAS STILL NOT COMPLETED.
Negative experience: One thing I hate is waiting when there is no crowd. There were lots of people standing around doing nothing while people were waiting. After twenty minutes I approached the counter someone helped me, I wonder if I didn't go to the counter my wait would have been much longer.

Fantastic experience: Southern California Automobile Club has a great facility in Long Beach. My only criticism is that it seems to be understaffed. A simple printout of a DMV document took less than a minute, but the wait to see the staff person took 25 minutes. The staff is wonderful and quite helpful.
Negative experience: DMV service was over an hour wait 80 minutes to be exact ,was picking up some personal license plates turns out to be they weren't even there another permit extension , They claim it takes almost 10 to 8 months .

Negative experience: I made an appointment at the Long Beach office to get a Real ID. They sent me an email (not a text) less than an hour before the appointment, telling me it was canceled. So now I am waiting 2 hours at the DMV because I need it right away. Very bad business behavior. If they had any competition they could not behave in this manner.

Negative experience: Just not what it used to be. Not as friendly, professional or speedy. It's almost like waiting at the DMV, honestly. There's no sense of urgency from any of the employees. A lot of the insurance reps are on their personal phones taking extra time between calling clients and they're walking around like they're bored. Miss the old ambiance and service.
Fantastic experience: This AAA is alway knowledgeable and helpful when you go in to do anything having to do with the DMV. I appreciate the quality of employees who are always pleasant with a good attitude. The air conditioning was perfect today so I didn’t mind having to wait a little bit. Got my new trailer license plate and off I went.
Positive experience: We received excellent service from the very professional rep who helped us with travel planning, who was wearing his mask, but the wait was extremely long till that point, and the majority of customers waiting in line and sitting down in the waiting area were not wearing masks -- a few were coughing. We need to go back this week and are reluctant to go back because of this. The first customer service rep we talked to wasn't wearing her mask and when we remarked we were surprised that most of the people inside the offices were unmasked, she chuckled like it was amusing or something, then pulled her mask back up as if only to appease us. My mother was on a ventilator and almost died from COVID so I don't think anything about this pandemic, or the Delta variant, is worth risking your life ... and none of it is amusing on any level.

Fantastic experience: Cannot and won't do without AAA! I've needed them for a slashed tire and a battery jump in the past year! They have always responded promptly and given me the best service. On my move across country, they helped in mapping out my stops and final destination. Even though I have a cell phone, just in case there is no signal....AAA is a wonderful backup plan for directions.....and its included in Member Services! ALL females should have AAA!
Negative experience: Its all about covid control here...The people inside are fine...it's the Karens in the outside tent acting like tyrannical cow herders who want nothing more than for you to just shut up and listen to their Gestapo tactics or just go away...if you enjoy being rousted and long waits then this place is for you... otherwise go to the DMV, you can thank me later.

Positive experience: AAA has implemented some COVID safety procedures,such as temperature checks & check-in customers outside, sanitizer dispensers, and sneeze guards installed. AAA recommend to wait in the car, and when your appointment is ready, you will receive a text. Overall, I feel AAA has done everything to protect its customers, & employees. I just wish they could pick up the phone. I wanted to make sure that I am brining the right documents to avoid going back again. Sadly, no one at the branch answered the phone. (I do understand, with COVID, everyone is shorthanded though)

Fantastic experience: I had received a fix it ticket two months ago for not having a front license plate. I sent a request into the dmv for plates right after receiving the ticket, but never heard/received a thing from them. I walked into AAA, told them what I needed, and they helped me right away. I walked out with new license plates withing 10 minutes or less. Great, quick service with 0 complaints from me. Needless to say, my visit was a pleasure.
Positive experience: Went to renew my registration. Today is the deadline. Sign outside says u can pay with cash, check or credit card. Personally, no longer use checks, but i know if you go online to most places, you can use ur routing # and account #. Not possible with AAA. Oh well, had to leave, get cash and return. Came back and had to fill out paperwork that i did not have 2 on the prior visit not twenty minutes prior. Again, oh well. But would love 2 hear the same rules and implementations from any worker. Playing field should always be the same. Not 2 much to ask 4.
Fantastic experience: I had a problem with my car registration. I had tried to resolve it but couldn't. I had paid the fee and a parking ticket but received nothing. The kind and professional AAA staff person checked into the problem, found out what was needed: a few dollars resolved it. About 15 minutes later I walked out with my tag!
Positive experience: I have only gone here to do most of my DMV stuff like renewal. The best place to go instead of actually going to DMV and waist most of my day.
