Fantastic experience: I am revising my review. I was having issues with the DMV sending my car tags that I paid for back in Oct in which I never received. I had called AA several times but finally spoke with a wonderful woman who told me that as a member, I could come down to the Hemet office to get my tags and registration. I did and there was not a wait and I received my tags. I will NEVER use DMV again to get my tags. I will be a AAA member for life! So simple and so stress free
Fantastic experience: Fast ! There DMV service reps aree well Informed up to date professional and courtious ! Great staff! Positive experience: We've never had any luck at the CA DMV so we try to take care of our DMV needs at a local AAA office. Hubs and I applied for our Real IDs but unfortunately this was not a participating branch. Thankfully vehicle registration can be taken care of at AAA. The lobby can get a little busy but once we're checked in it seems like everyone's called back pretty quickly. For many years, Mary was the gal who checked everyone in so we got to know her, and it was nice being recognized since we only need to stop in 1-2 times a year. Friendly staff overall.
Negative experience: Endangered my family!!! Despite calling three times, and assured someone would call they lied. Tillie Tillman never called despite leaving messages. Horrible service, that harmed me financially. Going to Good Sams or Geico. Cannot trust Triple A anymore. I have been a loyal customer with Triple AAA for over 18 years and have always received prompt professional service for my entire family throughout the years, and my grown son and daughter have been loyal customers too.July 12th, 2024, 7:30 p.m.,car was having engine problem,car had to be pulled over on Gilman Springs Rd,Riverside County.This is a dangerous two lane road that has had many terrible accidents and many deaths on it. Drove to where car was at/traffic was busy.Called AAA Roadside Service Number at 8:00 p.m., utilizing App on the Phone and were advised that a tow truck driver would be dispatched within 45 minutes.Daugher,her husband,6 year old daughter and I,waited an hour on side of dangerous,unlit two lane road. App showed tow truck had not been dispatched. Second request submitted by app again,it stated it would be 45 minutes wait. Hour passed daughter called again,spoke to rep/told her we had been waiting over two hours and still no tow truck driver. She called Tow Company Wind and Sea,Moreno Valley,herself/was told an another hour.Waited hour,no tow truck driver.Daughter spoke to the rep told her we had been waiting over 3 hours.Put us on hold,she called Tow Company and told us no one was answering,placed her on hold.Daugher told lady we had to get off dangerous road and take 6 year old daughter home.We stated would call back once we got home, which only 15 minutes away. I got home called AAA, told her we had waited three hours/no truck dispatched. She would contact the tow company closest to us/it would be 12:00 to 12:30 arrival. Watching app instead of hour arrival time,it changed to 1:53 a.m. App stated arriving at 2:16 a.m. App said different tow company Desert Towing, a tow company in our town of Hemet. Another update stated towing company should arrive at 3:58 a.m. Received a phone call at 2:30 a.m. by the original tow truck company Wind and Sea and the Tow Truck driver said that his tow truck company was the only one authorized to pick up our car because of where it was located. He stated that he would meet me there at the car's location at 3:00 a.m. Drove out to Gilman Springs Road and when we got to where the location where the car was at, it was gone. I immediately called the tow truck driver and told him that the car was gone and he stated that the Highway Patrol or Riverside County had the car towed by Pirots Towing in Hemet. Went to the Tow Company location on Saturday morning and the tow yard was closed and was not due to open until Monday morning. Called the Owner of the Tow Company and told him what had happened and he stated that it would cost $700. to get the car out that morning, I told him we were poor and could not afford it, he said not my problem, get another car and hung up.I called your representative Tuesday, as I had a medical appointment Monday and was not able to speak to your representative. I relayed the information to your represenative told her that it was not our fault that Triple AAA did not provide the towing service requested and asked if the company if they had insurance for circumstances such as mine, if they could pay the car tow fee and returned to us. She stated someone would call in three days, no one did. So I called back and spoke to a friendly young lady and she stated that the person who had took our numerous calls the night of the initial request and we had been waiting so long, she stated what she had done in that instance, was tell the customer they had the options to pay out of their pockets to have the car towed by different tow company, I told her we were never given that option. She stated she would put the request in but based upon experience, it is not the responsibility of Triple AAA to get involved with tow yards and only possible reimbursement if any relief was provided.

Fantastic experience: Always happier to be here than the DMV! Tho it has gotten busier over the years (as to be expected since that is the case for everything)... really enjoy how pleasant the staff remain even despite some rude people displeased with wait times. I've utilized the roadside membership, travel services and also motor vehicle coverage. Satisfaction has always been 100% and why I will remain a customer. I also really enjoy the upgrades made to the location over the years especially the gated parking lot and general seating area. The location is always clean and well kept, free of any riff raff, lots of parking, free parking I might add, also wheelchair accessible and multiple handicap spaces for both parking in the lot and sitting I'm the waiting area, waiting area is always kept cool and everyone tends to be mindful of reasonable volume levels.
Negative experience: Employees are rude. Went in to pay the membership fee and encountered two rude employees. One at the main desk is LOUD LIKE A BUSTED CHAINSAW! The other at the DMV services desk. AAA is trash! Stranded on the side of the road for 4 hours...no towing company (Wind n Sea Perris) showed up! Ridiculous!! Preposterous!! Inconceivable!! Not sure who to turn to now. AAA's slogan is "We're always there for you". Only good thing about the day was the view...
Negative experience: AAA CAR INSURANCE IS BAD, THEY DOUBLED THE COST. THEN WHEN YOU CANCEL, GET NEW INSURANCE. AAA CHARGE YOU EXTRA. DON'T USE AAA INSURANCE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.
Negative experience: Rip off!! Read your policy!! They charge you an APR like a credit card! My agent never disclosed this and it was 15%. SO after making my monthly payments for a year, I’m actually paying $285 more than quoted premium!!! Also, if you want to cancel within the first year- they CHARGE YOU 11% of TOTAL premium!! Avoid AAA…, they used the old bait and switch on me Big Time!!

I used to go here for years before the pandemic but ever since they rebuilt and revamped I gladly go to the DMV instead and I'm canceling because everybody's rude except for two people that work there and they can't carry the responsibility of the whole place.....
Negative experience: I stopped in Friday September 22 at 3:30 pm to pu my Dmv tags, YOU need to apply for a Credit card, no thanks Pushey women wouldn't GIVE MY TAGS I PAID $ FOR ! THEN YOU NEED LIFE INSURANCE , NO DONT NEED IT! COME OVER HERE TO THIS FAT GUY WOULD DIDNT EVEN LOOK UP TO HIS CUBICLE, FINALLY PUTS MY tags on fatties desk. I grab them and walk out. What a SCAM !!! PUSHING THE SIDE BUSINESS due they make nothing on Dmv. I could be in/out in 5 minutes but it took 30 minutes FOR HER PITCH LIFE INSURANCE, CREDIT CARDS! Imagine the seniors; others who they Force to sign up ! Another Hemet Scam !

Positive experience: The lady at the front desk was very rude and non-cooperative. Once I got over to another lady she took care of what I needed done. She was very polite. They need to get the lady at the front desk at another job. This was Friday, September 1 approximately 2 PM.
Fantastic experience: Got an international drivers permit there. I was in and out in 15 minutes for $30 bucks without being a member and they didn’t even try to sell me on any of their services! So impressed!!!

Negative experience: I been a member for two straight years now, I had them for many years previous but things happen so I had to let them go. However, I am informing everyone to check their insurance rate but mine with up. I called an asked why and I was told, “ Because AAA lost money last year they rated the customers rate to replace their lost. Next they are charging customers a “ Finance Charge.” Correct if I am wrong but don’t “Finance mean provide funding for ( a person or enterprise.) So my problem is What is AAA is financing for us? Therefore, how can they be charging a finance charge? This got to stop! We are paying them they are not financing nothing for me or you. Please call and check for your rate of insurance and what is your finance charge. The lady told me that they only applying finance charges to those who pay monthly.

Negative experience: The worst insurance company ever. You pay a premium for full coverage including underinsured insurance for when people who have bad insurance hit you. Fast forward and now I was involved in a car accident and they refuse to pay for anything that they promised when I signed up. I was 100 percent not a fault and now have medical bills from a back injury and still they are not budging on following through with what they say they will do. My advise is this company lies to you and please take your money elsewhere
Negative experience: The worst service ever. I highly recommend not to get AAA, no, no, no, no! Biggest mistake you could ever do. Get different service if you know what's good for you. I promise you, I've been waiting for 2 days for my car, still not home.

Negative experience: Visited office today to pay membership renewal. No signs directing activity. Stood in line for 10 minutes and found I needed to go to a different counter. That counter could not accept payments because their computer had a problem. A waste of my time and gas. I don't call this good service at all. Deal with these people via mail, you're better off.
Negative experience: I waited forever to discover they never put me in the system after checking in twice. This is the 2nd time I may as well went to the DMV. I went to an available clerk and she said my name wasn't even in the system and that was the 3rd person I talked to. the only person who really works there is the guard I guess
Negative experience: My son and I paid registration fees on his motorhome last April, there was some late fees and the total came to a little over $400. This would give him 2022 tags good until July 2022. The AAA clerk, named Valerie informed us that if we payed $130 more, we could register it until July 2023. We agreed and payed approximately $530 to Valerie. We still needed to get a smog certificate so we had the smog check done right after we left AAA. It passed and he went back to AAA to get the tags. He was helped by an Asian woman who gave him 2022 tags. My son has gone back twice to resolve this matter only to hear that they don't have a record of him paying for 2023 tag fees. This is so unprofessional and has caused my son a lot of trouble with the police threatening to tow the motorhome for expired tags. Very disappointed with the AAA and won't be renewing our memberships.

Negative experience: Aaa should be called aaaaaa for every hour they didn't puck me up. Don't ever buy aaa or ever aaa premier which I have. It took over 6 hours just to get a tow truck and I didn't even go through aaa to get the tow truck. I was denied over 10 times for the tow truck. I was stranded for hours at a place I barely knew. DONT BUY AAA OR AAAAAA BECAUSE THEY WILL NEVER PICK YOU UP.
Fantastic experience: I was prepared to separate from AAA. Mark happened to reach out to me about my policy expiration. I could tell from his message that he had done his homework and could speak about my specifics. He was very helpful and through his professional demeanor he convinced me to stay on with AAA. I feel he is a valuable company asset and I hope this business realizes his worth. Truthfully only by his customer service skills did I decide to stay with AAA.

Negative experience: If I could give no stars I would I'm not one to write reviews but after being a 3A plus member for 17 years. I decided to go and register my vehicle at the Hemet California office. I showed up at 9 am when they opened the lady that greeted me at the door asked what I needed to do. And before I can finish what I was saying she rudely cut me off and proceeded to argue with me saying they could not complete the transaction there well after being arguementive with an attitude rudely says we will see what we can do. So I waited for my name to be called and went to the window and guess what not a single issue with the process
Fantastic experience: If you think waiting at AAA for your DMV services is long, think again. AAA may have a bit of a line, but there is a good parking lot, waiting room, and bathrooms. AAA provides good variety of services, and are very efficient. Service dogs allowed.

Negative experience: Do not book with AAA. The worst agency to book a flight with. Booked a flight through AAA website from Atlanta to Palm Springs. Received an email that said confirm but not ticketed. Boyfriend went to the airport and they told him ticket was canceled. Called AAA they said they said it was canceled because I didn’t call them within 24hours of receiving the “Action Required” email. I called them immediately after I got that email but the voicemail said it was after hours, so I waited until 8am to call when o spoke to an agent they said the ticket was canceled. So my boyfriend is standing there with the ticket agent telling him he can’t bored. But yet the next day they charged me $346.21 for the flight they said they canceled. This is the worse company do not book flights with AAA.

Positive experience: Always, clean, friendly people. But the only thing was, it smelled like incense was being burned. I have COPD and I had to use my rescue inhaler ,which I only use during times which the air has strong orders. This is NOT the norm in most AAA offices

Fantastic experience: I went there on a Friday morning in the summer for travel info. It was extremely crowded. Some people waiting were getting upset to have to wait so long for different things. But the staff was very pleasant & helpful. They kept everyone moving along as quickly & easily as possible. I got everything I needed from a very nice & helpful woman named Jeannette.

Fantastic experience: I visited the Hemet Branch of AAA.....Great place to handle DMV. Among other things. Today I had the pleasure of being assisted by Jeannette in DMV. The BEST experience I have EVER had there! Here is a woman who really knows and understands DMV and the varying nuances. I explained my situation and she got right to getting everything I needed. Very polite, understanding and a great listener......OUTSTANDING......(previous visits have NOT been so productive with other staff members)!!! Thank you Jeannette.....You made my day....my year! and she even thanked me for being a 26 year AAA member! Awesome.....

Negative experience: The experience was horrible. I call AAA, I have a valid membership and they have the nerve to tell me that I CAN NOT TOW A MOTORCYCLE.. FYI. A motorcycle is easier to tow on a flatbed than a car is. I can't believe that I pay for AAA and I had to come out of the pocket 180$ to get my bike home.

Fantastic experience: We have members of AAA at the Hemet office for amost 30 years. And there has not been a time that I was disappointed with the service. We have been in some pretty interesting mishaps where we have had to call. From the first "You have reached the Hemet Automobile Club to the. Help is on it's way" I have been treated with concern, professionalism and reassurance. Also, have never had a rude or inexperienced tow truck driver. I would recommend them to anyone I care about. In fact when our mother's were alive we made sure they had and our daughter too. We have the premiere membership and our RV too. Today I needed a trip tik and car rental. I was taken care of right away. Didn't even have to go in. All emailed to me. A special thanks to Natalie in Travel.

I contacted our agent multiple days ago, no response as yet, I hope he isn't sick from covid. Trying to learn out how to exchange our vehicles DP Disabled Plates & yearly Placard - as we are moving from 1 State to another.

Negative experience: I'm a 35 year year member and customer service has never come into question. But recently, as I needed their assistance with policy changes and spoke to several staff I received different answers which were inconsistent. It took me two days to add a new vehicle to my policy bc the agent wouldn't answer her phone or return my emails in a timely manner. While enroute to pick up my vehicle I had car issues and needed a tow; come to find out I didn't have the 100 mile tow service pkg I had signed up for(another clerical error). I had to pay out of pocket.. This is unacceptable and frustrating. As for me and my family we will be shopping for a different insurance company.

She told me they were closed for DMV because they had a 40 min wait. This is poor cs if you get there before they close they should help you. When you go into a store before they close they let you get your merch and check out even if someone has to stay and get overtime poor service
Negative experience: I AM AAA member in which I am HORRIFIED that AAA is contracted with DESERT TOWING of SAN JACINTO CA.. NICK and MARIA AGUILAR attempted to STEAL a vehicle located in my residential driveway under FALSE pretenses!! I will BE revoking MY membership due to the professional relationship AAA of HEMET CA has with DESERT TOWING of SAN JACINTO CA.
Fantastic experience: Kathleen was awesome. Very helpful and informative. Made sure I understood everything every step of the way. But all the staff here is great.
Fantastic experience: In n out quickly. They have always been very good to me. Way better than the DMV.
Fantastic experience: Went Monday morning 1st thing. Pretty big line, but it was orderly. Took an hour to get DMV tags. Service was good though.
