Negative experience: There is a reason AAA doesn’t charge for Notary. Waited approx 40 Minutes & Had to Leave without being called. Better to pay for it & save at least an hour of your time. Best to Avoid lunch Time.
Negative experience: I have been trying to reach this guy named Alex Stanford at home inspection request for I guess over 3 weeks now I tried calling him this is my fifth time calling them no reply no answer. Everything else I have to do with AAA is good just as Home Inspection sucks, covid maybe he's still on working from home. I am going to try to get hold of AAA itself and find out what's going on wish me luck!!

Negative experience: Reception seems to be permanently asleep at this branch. Cannot reach a human here after trying for over an hour this morning. Every single time I was connected to, not a human, but their virtual assistant, who would then kick me back to a call center where the people seemed also to have no idea how to reach an actual human being at the actual branch. I was kicked off hold so many times it's laughable. All I needed was to see if their notary was available for one signature. That's a question that could be answered by reception in 15 seconds. If I can't even get a person on the phone at AAA, then I am wasting my money paying for the service and insurance. If I call an 800 number, I can expect talking to a robot, but if I call the local number for a branch, somebody better pick up the phone. Very unhappy.
Fantastic experience: Coming from many years in the service industry. I believe its necessary to write a review too either warn others about our bad experiences, which unfortunately are all too common these days. I also find it, maybe even more important to recognize those individuals that are exceptional and "wow" us. I wanted to recognize the exceptional service that I received from Cathy at the Torrance branch. I came in for something that you might think was "simple" but we were getting curve ball after curve ball. Cathy managed to figure out what was going on and had such a positive attitude. I very grateful for the job that she did and that's why I'm recognizing her today. Thank you Cathy for making my day!

Negative experience: As a 52 year member of the auto club, I have been living in the Torrance area for 18 years. During this time I have had many visits to their location on Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance. Almost each and every time I check in, I an treated in an unprofessional manner by their staff. They constantly talk down to me and treat me in a condescending manner. Not only are they unhelpful but also rude and trying to pick fights with members. Apparently, there is no way to reach an executive in headquarters that really cares about their Torrance office.
Fantastic experience: They took passport pictures for my son It was fine
Negative experience: Rude young women bad attitude and gave kept rolling her eyes when we asked her a question, I don’t remember her name but she had black hair and had doc martins on I will never come here again because of her. How did she get hired?!?!?
Fantastic experience: So much easier than DMV if allowed for your situation. I went twice recently. One was for renewing vehicle registration which expired while we were out of the country on vacation, and most recently for an international drivers permit. Both times AAA took care of me very professionally and efficiently.
Fantastic experience: Mark M. helped me with the car buying service, and I am so unbelievably happy with the car I was able to buy through the program. Mark is a master at what he does with talking to the dealerships and with the help he gave me prior to going to the dealership I told him I was gonna visit. Buying a car through their program is exclusively gonna be what I’m going to do moving forward because of how painless the process was. The expectations I had with buying a car as a first time buyer was absolutely wrong because of all the hassle I’ve heard buying cars comes with. This was unbelievably easy, and I’m so happy and thankful to have used their service with Mark’s help. Thank you so much!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had been an AAA club member for a long time. Recently, I went to the auto club in Torrance office and got free tour books & maps. Being a member, you could get free towing services. Then, if you leave a key in the car & lock the door, they will open the car for you. One time, I had a problem with starting my car, and I needed to get a new battery. They had the battery services. I purchased a new battery from them. Then, they brought the new battery and installed it for free. It was convenient that I bought it from the Auto club. It was $156 with free instalation & 5 years of warranty. Then, if you have problem with the battery, they could bring you a new battery with no charge. Also, you could get many discounts on hotels, rental cars, movie theaters, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farms, Magic Mountain, Sandiego Zoo, retal stores, and many other places. I would like to recommend everyone to Auto Club membership. They offer many free services such as free towing services and battery services. Then, you can get free tour books & free maps. Also, you can get discounts from many places.
Fantastic experience: Our kids have used this driving school and we couldn't be more pleased. The are very professional, thorough, and gave our children the knowledge and confidence to be behind the wheel.

Negative experience: Total Unethical, Unprofessional, Lack of Customer Service and Integrity received via a "manager" by the name of Karla Monterosa. Who failed to keep her word after handing me her business card, and stating she would help resolve several pending issues, that AAA has failed to follow up on since I made the switch to AAA in February! Unreal how AAA is no longer what is used to be, and the horrific representation that's now taking place over the phone, via email, and at the Torrance office! Beware! You'll be paying for a service you won't receive!
Negative experience: When they try to finish fast and not getting any orders they start saying the DMV system not working well guess what my friends work there and he told me everything is fine... Stop making excuses and not correctly
Negative experience: Just called in 5 mins ago to ask for instructions of selling a car. A gentleman from business department seemed mad with my questions and hung up while I was talking, that surprised me. Called back the 2nd time to continue but he did the same thing. I believe AAA records customer's calls. Bad experience anyway. Been with AAA since 2005.

Fantastic experience: I wish I knew the ladies names that helped me today one was station #8 and the other was the last one on the right in the middle. These ladies deserve a applause. So helpful and nice and just generally great to deal with. They have a thankless job and I wanted to make sure it is known that they have restored a bit of faith in humanity today.

Negative experience: Quick and easy DMV registration renewal, but two times I've used roadside were horrible. 1.) (Needed Tow) The app chat version malfunctioned repeatedly (12 times) and the call line kept growing as I was on hold leading to me just giving up and calling assistance somewhere else out of pocket. "May get compensated" 2.) (Lockout) The chat option worked, but was grossly inaccurate on ETA, updated me of a new ETA only 20 minutes AFTER the original and when I called to get an update, got a third inaccurate ETA. I'm still waiting.
Fantastic experience: Most of AAA are good and no complaints to any. This one in Torrance is big and the clerks are very nice.

Fantastic experience: I went to AAA in Torrance to register my vehicle. The facility was nice and clean and everyone was very nice and informative. I was helped by Donny in the DMV area. There was an issue with vin # on my smog being off by 2 numbers. Donny went above and beyond to help me and when it was realized that I’d have to go back to the place where I got the smog to resolve the issue, Donny told me when I got back to just come straight back to him, so I could avoid having to wait in line again. He went out of his way to make my second visit easy and quick. 5 ⭐️ customer service!! Thanks again!!
Positive experience: No line but the guy at the counter kept talking to his co worker during the transaction. I felt as a bother to their conversation. Very unprofessional. I gotta say Ive been very happy with my past experiences at this AAA location.

Positive experience: Friendly customer service as a AAA member and it's accompanying perks, though I found the agents to move and help the customers a bit slow, they were quite chatty amongst themselves, (a little frustrating on a Monday morning as most of the agents should have moved things along quicker and I had places to be). I ended up waiting in line for over 10 mins and there was only one person ahead of me and seemingly only one agent to get my registration sticker.
Fantastic experience: Went to register my car the day tags were due. Waited only a few minutes and was called to the window. The woman who processed my paperwork was extremely pleasant which made the entire transaction less painful to write that check.

Negative experience: The young woman at the counter was very dismissive, disrespectful, and appeared bothered by my presents. I left the building and attempted to call AAA multiple times over the following 15 minutes without success from my car. I tried again about 10 minutes later, and the agent was very professional and friendly. She notified the manager of the AAA facility I had visited about 25 minutes earlier. That manager left a message on my phone, stating that she address the receptionist with my concerns, and corrected her actions towards me.
Fantastic experience: If you don't have AAA my question is WHY? I can't remember the last time I was at the DMV. Here even if the place is packed. You are in and out within 20 mins. Just don't plan on using a debt card. Cash or check only. A must have!

Positive experience: Disappointed that they wouldn’t complete a VIN verification because I wasn’t completing a full registration process. Instead I had to go pay a vendor $80 to complete a simple form and look at my new car I purchased from out of state.

Fantastic experience: Super impressed with their logistics during COVID. We got there right when they opened on Saturday, and I was freaking out a bit seeing 3 long lines full of people already. But they were so organized, sorting us into different lines depending on service (i.e., DMV renewal, title change, etc.), and a worker came to us in line to verify what we needed to do and then grabbed a form and clipboard for us to fill out while we were waiting in line. He even told us what parts to fill out and sign to make the process even quicker. By the time I completed the form, we were already at the front of the line. Then we were ushered in, literally sat on the seats in the waiting area for less than a minute, and my name was called. So efficient, and I didn’t even need an appointment! Then I had to switch from the DMV side to the AAA side, and the guy walked me over to an agent who was very patient in explaining all my options for car insurance. I dunno if AAA is the cheapest provider, but their service and the attached DMV work like clockwork.

Fantastic experience: Fast. Went to DMV section and only one person in line. Lady was very helpful and knowledgeable (unlike the REAL DMV). I've been a member for 35 years because, at 11pm on a rainy night, one call gets you a prepaid tow, jump, spare tire put on or lockout service in less than 45 minutes (usually). No brainer.

Negative experience: Went for a dmv transaction. Workers I encountered were not cordial and not completely informed of all DMV protocols and Regulations (only a handful are) They waisted my time. Very poor experience. Would not go to AAA for dmv transaction ever again. This is not a smooth process! You better off waiting a little bit more at the DMV.
Fantastic experience: Ms Trina went above and beyond to make sure my paper work was actually in order after going back and forth with different associates multiple times. But Ms Trina did it perfectly and explained the whole process as well.

Fantastic experience: Took my mom there to have her picture taken for her new passport. It was great. In and out in twenty minutes. We were able to mail it off at the near by post office before it closed.

Positive experience: It was pleasant..almost got the run around when some hipster dude acting like he knows everything without looking at my paperwork ..( he told a newer girl to send me back ho.e with new paperwork and redo all my task because it was slightly wrinkled due to age of paperwork and lots of handling...then i was saved by a more experienced aaa worker who looked at my papers and tild me ti sign certain missed spots ..she fit me over to a nice gentleman who was easy ti talk to and. Whim i can relate..we git evertging in order.. I was happy and legal.. Thank you aaa. Adults. Whi have knowledge ..not just nice shoes and walks around like he has been doing wide pull ups everyday at the gym but clearly has not.
Negative experience: Long line and little help . No one i tested in helping. Told would be at least an hours wait. This was at 10:30 in the morning on a Wednesday. AAA spend millions on TV advertising then offer really poor service

Negative experience: Their phone recordings are useless. You need to speak to a representative to answer a question and you can't get through to get any useful information. I called three different branches and still couldn't get a representative.
Fantastic experience: Got registration tags for both vehicles within minutes and a new insurance policy. Plus a roadside assistant plan. Beats going to the DMV hands down!
Fantastic experience: New vehicle and transferred old plates to the new vehicle. So much easier than trying to get an appointment with the DMV.
