Rek Travel in Chicago is the largest and one of the oldest Polish travel agencies in the USA. We have been operating in the American market for almost 30 years.
We plan and organize trips for individual clients, organized groups, and companies.
We specialize in unique travel programs to all 50 states in the USA and 150 countries worldwide, from individual planning to implementation. This way, every trip is unique and tailored to the needs and requirements of our clients.

Negative experience: Crooked business tactics won’t return deposits. Now won’t return calls.
Fantastic experience: I recently returned from an unforgettable pilgrimage/trip to Mexico, and I can't recommend it enough. From rich history and great people to a life-changing visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We started in Mexico City, a bustling metropolis, visited the picturesque silver city Taxco, beautiful Puebla, and explored the ancient Aztec ruins in Teotihuacan. Our guide Magda shared her great knowledge of the history and culture providing a glimpse into Mexico's fascinating past. She helped us explore local culture by visiting nearby markets and music venues where we enjoyed traditional food and music. The highlights of the pilgrimage trip were walking the grounds of Tepeyac Hill where the Virgin Mary appeared to Juan Diego and participating in the December 12th feast at the Lady of Guadalupe Basilica. As one of the most important religious sites in the world, the Feast of the Lady of Guadalupe attractions millions of pilgrims each year, and I can now understand why. Seeing the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe surrounded by celebrating pilgrims, carrying flowers, some walking on their knees - was an emotional experience which I will treasure forever.
Fantastic experience: The trip to our mother lady of Guadalupe was successful, full of impressions, and prayed of dreams. The guides fulfilled their task, especially Mrs. Magda from Europe. She gave everything of herself. I was with my husband. I was the third time, and I recommend taking advantage. We will continue to travel as soon as our health performs. Thank you, Maria & Casey

Fantastic experience: I went on the pilgrimage to Barcelona – Lourdes – Santiago de Compostela – Braga – Fátima. I had an amazing experience. Magdalena was our guide and did an amazing job. Fantastic experience: My girls from Poland and I had wonderful time on our trip only for women (wines tested). I highly recommend this trip for women , only one day , but we won’t forget fun , relax and pretty sunset with glass of wine .Our tour person was of course lady Agata, she made our trip fun, her snacks were delicious , we got Wojtek a driver , he was a gentleman, he knows a lot about women . Duet Agata and Wojtek can make your trip special and unique.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Rek Travel for organize Labor Day weekend Voyage .it was so much fun. The title was “Back in time “ I learn history about Route 66, Mississippi River and Wild, Wild West I also enjoyed a hiking at Matthiessen State Park. We finished first day with yummy dinner cocktail, and beautiful view from Bella a tour boat. The next day i we explore the largest spoon museum in US and also went to village name, Pioneer for a festival. We finish our two days voyage with earlier dinner and beautiful view on Mississippi river. Thank you so much Miss. Malgosia our voyage pilot and our driver, Mr. Adam. You guys are best❤️

Fantastic experience: Norway 2024 Great trip beautiful country. Country of fjords , tunnels and ferries. A lot of driving but it is a big country. Hotels were good and clean. Tour was wonderful and informative. Arek and Edyta were wonderful.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing time on one day trip to wineries in Michigan. Each winery had its own charm and delicious wines. Fantastic experience: My 13 day trip, “California and National Parks” with Kordian was amazing and so fun. We all saw so many different things from over 7 states in the West Coast. The travel guide, Kordian and the two charter bus drivers, Kurt and John were organized and took very good care of all of us. I will definitely be using Rek Travel again.

Fantastic experience: I was pleasantly surprised how organized this trip was. Monika and Edyta are just awesome! They were very informative and accurate. If there were any issues we sure didn't notice because everything went smoothly. My skepticism about going with tour is gone now. The only think I'd change would be a little more down time as this was very intense especially with 2 towns in 1 day. Overall a 5+ star experience. Fantastic experience: I went on the Tuscany women's trip last week with Monika and Edyta, and it was a wonderful experience! We travelled through the Tuscany area and visited about 11 cities including Florence, Lucca, Siena, Volterra, and Pisa. We got a perfect mix of both popular tourist sites such as the leaning tower of Pisa and Piazza del Campo and unique cities that showcased the beautiful Tuscan landscape and Italian culture. Monika and Edyta did a fantastic job with making sure we had top-tier accommodations and tour guides in each location we visited. I would recommend this trip and would go again if given the chance!!

Fantastic experience: I used Rek Travel for transfers from Chicago to Ames, Iowa and back from Iowa to Chicago. I was super impressed with the service, it required very complicated logistics for many small groups of children on 3 different buses and several different pick up locations and times. Fantastic experience: My trip to Peru was planned with attention to detail. It was organized geographically with hotels close to the visiting areas. The guides were attentive and followed up on requests. Once in Peru we had additional guides that could help us, even speaking Spanish, English, or Polish. We learned about Peru’s history, traditions, culture, politics and of course about the churches. We also had free time to explore and shop in each of the cities. The best part was that I always felt safe, secure, and protected by the group activities.

Fantastic experience: This was a great experience , our tour guides were very helpful and knowledgeable they always made sure we were safe . Would definitely this trip but for sure to a younger crowd . I was ok but the rest of group were older.

Fantastic experience: Our tour leader, Edyta Sobczyk, was AMAZING in all ways from start to finish! Fantastic experience: One of the best vacations of ny life. Rek Travel agency did a fantastic job. Their tour guides ( Izabela and Rafał) were top notch. Not only organized to the tee, but the amount of information that we learned was unbelievable. They not only made the tour fun but very educational. The local guides were also very good and accommodative. Always looked out for our safety and made great suggestions towards the altitude concerns. Brought for us local plants and lotions to minimize and reduce the risk of altitude sickness. Could not ask for a better team of guides. The accommodations picked by Rek Teavel were also excellent. I would highly recommend Rek Travel if anyone is interested in visiting Peru. This was my first experience with Rek Travel and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fantastic experience: To start off I would say this was my favorite vacation of all time. The Dolomites offered me an experience with the most breathtaking ski slopes in the world. After spending most of our time in Italy skiing, we spent a day in Venice as well. This city is truly beautiful and I enjoyed every moment of it. Fantastic experience: Morocco has been on my wish list for many years. After conversation with an agent from Rek Travel, I quickly decided to make this dream come true. Why so fast? Attractive price, interesting program, 13 days. There we had two wonderful guides: Tomek and Muhammed. During the trip, it turned out that they both had a lot of knowledge about Morocco. Fantastic experience: The 12 day Morocco trip in February 2024 was absolutely phenomenal. It is unbelievable how much learning and visiting was crammed into those few days. Morocco is a country that has it all - seaside, agriculture, mountains, desert and a rich cultural history. Of course we only got a taste of it all in 12 days, but we got a taste of it ALL. And the Moroccan people! I don't think you will find a warmer group of people anywhere. Amazing. Just Amazing. Our tour guide, Mohammad, was an absolute gem and a treasure trove of information. I learned so much. Just the kindest man. And our tour facilitator, Tomasz, was an invaluable resource. He took care of all the details to make sure all transfers, check ins, meals and whatever else was included happened seamlessly. Fantastic experience: We just came back from a trip to Galapagos Islands and Ecuador with Rek Travel. Our daughters loved the snorkeling, my wife enjoyed the hikes, especially the volcano, and I enjoyed how well everything was organized. The flights, the boat ferries, the bus rides and the guided tours were all planned and we saw Baltra Island, Floreana Island, Isabela Island, Santa Cruz Island as well as Quito at a pace we all enjoyed. Fantastic experience: Returned from Mexico. Traveled with Arek & Edyta at REK Travel. They were excellent and really made for a fantastic trip. They were extremely accommodating and were always looking out for everyone — making sure that we all stayed together and that no one was left behind as we travelled to various sites and hotels. Fantastic experience: Trip with my husband to Patagonia (Nov 30th - Dec 12th) was fantastic! Beautiful scenery, breathtaking landscapes! Some are like gems that you can't see anywhere else. Our guide and group guardian Patti were wonderful! With great knowledge and passion, fluent in Spanish, Polish and English, she taught us the history of the country, the culture and customs of the inhabitants of Patagonia. She was always available to us, helpful with everything we needed. The time of every day activities was very well organized. Chosen hotels were unique styles, food was great, not to mention last farewell dinner night with tango show which will be also unforgettable. Fantastic experience: I recently returned from trip to Patagonia.It was my second journey with Rek Travel after visiting Peru last year. In Patagonia our tour guide was Patrycja (Pati), very energetic, positive nature and open minded person fluent in English, Spanish and Polish. She has a knowledge and passion for the region, its people, history and nature that only local person can offer. In addition to this she has unique ability and skills to communicate all this to everyone in the group. Local people customs, their culture, cuisine, nature around them, wildlife - we have experienced it all. Every single day felt like a different journey. What I also appreciated a lot was location choices of the hotels we stayed at. Stunning views without leaving hotel room! As I mentioned before it was not my first trip with Rek Travel. Fantastic experience: My wife and I truly enjoyed the Mexico pilgrimage we joined through REK TRAVEL AGENCY that ended today. However, our beautiful pilgrimage experience was overshadowed by the fear my wife wouldn't be allowed to fly back to Chicago with the group. This happened during the pre-boarding process, while inline with the agent checking our passports and boarding passes. The reason my wife couldn't fly, the agent said is that she couldn't find the outbound date stamped in her passport in Chicago. My wife and I were terrified in the notion of not able to fly back to Chicago, because obviously I'll have to stay with her in the event she'll not be allowed to fly. That's where the expertise of Arek and Edyta of REK TRAVEL came in who fought and argued on our behalf to save our day....and indeed the issue was resolved and she's allowed to fly back home. In addition Arek is that topnotch travel agent rep always counting and watching his clients before and after the day's trip and bus ride to ensure everyone is accounted for. Fantastic experience: I traveled to Costa Rica on November. It was a great experience. We visited many places including national parks. Both Rek Travel guide, Honorata, and local guide, Diana, explained everything along the trip. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience in Ecuador and Galapagos. The best tour guide Izabela put her heart into this trip to make sure we get the best experience ever. Snorkeling with sharks, encounters with sea lions, beautiful views, boat transfers between islands in comfy boats, great local guides, and many more. It was my 3rd trip with Rek Travel, I traveled with them to Patagonia and Mt Everest base camp tracking before, all great with very knowledgeable and caring guide Patka. Strongly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Galapagos trip - November 2023. From snorkeling with sharks and sea turtles, observing iguanas, giant tortoises and sea lions, enjoying ocean voyages, learning about Darvin, dancing traditional andian dances, stepping across Equator, and of course unique, unforgettable, unbeatable Chiva experience - this trip had it all. Our phenomenal guide Iza, led us from one adventure to the next with the biggest smile ever! All local guides passionatly shared their knowledge. We travelled by many means, and everything just magically worked. It was impressive how much care, thoughts and background work was done to prepare and lead such a spectacular trip. Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a good vacation, REK Travel made it easy. My mom went on the Hawaii trip and had a fantastic time. Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic time on the pilgrimage to Poland, it was well planned and led by our guide Edyta. Edyta was always available to help any of the group members with whatever problems they may have had, and I never saw her getting frustrated with anybody. She also made sure that everyone was comfortable with the different parts of the trip, and reminded them that they had an option to opt out and rest if they desired to do so. We got to see so many different sites in many parts of Poland, and in each district we were met with a different local guide who was very knowledgeable about the area. The locals of Poland are very nice, and almost all parts of the cities and towns were clean and orderly, so it was a very safe trip. Overall, I would highly recommend this trip to anyone, so long as they are comfortable with a lot of walking.
