Positive experience: Always a great stay when it comes to the comfort of the rooms, view, location, cleanliness, evening activities and bar staff. Their daytime activities didn't happen because apparently a staff member quit without notice. There was no effort made to resolve the issue and they seemed very unconcerned. The staff at the check in high pressure sales area (where they give the wristbands) were extremely unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: The place was just as beautiful as advertised on the Airbnb website. The themed decor resonated thru the entire space which added much charm and coziness. Immaculately clean and well kept. Views from the balconies were insane gorgeous! The beach was perfect with soft white sand and clear blue green waters. There were chair/umbrellas rentals available right on the property. The company we rented from is named Real Joy. Top notch to work with. Would redo again in a heartbeat!

Positive experience: Have always had a great time here. Clean condos, close to everything, and not too crowded. Been here in March and October and every time has been fantastic.

Only one person that I encountered the whole week.That was kind of rude she was on her phone (earpiece) talking to whoever And just nodding answering questions for me so it was a little difficult to get a straight answer out of her other than that, everything /everyone was helpful It !!was great! Nice and clean!

Positive experience: The room was great, service was great, but corridors leading to the room need cleansing or pressure washing asap, and elevators were slow. Went for party weekend. Deceitful sales pitch ruined trip. Sales person (Erika) who first said she was only ruining an in-house credit check, later informed she ran a hard inquiry. In addition she stated she could switch us from Wyndham to travel leisure and it wouldn't require any funds out of pocket. Later she stated payments of 379 would start in 45 days. I am requesting that a manager contact me and remove hard pull. I have been there for 10 years and I've never experienced this type of sales pitch. Thx

Positive experience: Emerald Beach Resort/Wyndham Good place to stay! Our kids love it. Having two pools and the view for the Ocean is Beautiful. Perfect place to stay and watch Fireworks!! The bartenders near the pool have attitudes. If you ask questions , and/or don’t get what you pay for. We were told this year he had to have enough for everyone. You should get what you pay for. We always have good experience with Alex. Alex is a very good bartender plus has a good attitude. He welcomes the kids too.

Positive experience: Good facilities overall. The beach service was a significant disappointment. Don't come here if you want a good beach experience. The facility does not provide any beach services to paying customers. Their beach is owned by a 3rd party organization. They charge $45+ just for lounge chairs and umbrellas. Plus they take them away at 5pm. We have stayed at other PCB properties that provide this service free of charge to paying guests. A significant black eye to an otherwise good resort.

Positive experience: Very nice resort right on the beach in panama city beach. Rooms are clean. This place is very kid friendly with 3 pools including kiddie pools and hot tubs. Parking is in a deck across the street with a skybridge that takes you across. The only problem i had with this resort id with elevators taking too long. There are bike racks at level 1 parking which is a plus since traffic can be a mess in the middle of the day also alot of places to eat and play within riding or walking distance. I would give it a 4 star only due to the elevators which u will spend atleast an hour of your day waiting on them to where we started taking the stairs with 2 young kids.

Fantastic experience: I'm about two weeks late with this review, but I have to say I enjoyed my stay here. I came to celebrate my birthday!! There are a handful of restaurants within walking distance, Alvin's Island is nearby, easy access to the beach, and many other attractions within a short driving distance. The property was clean and inviting. There's some walking to do, but a little exercise won't hurt anybody I was on the 15th floor, and the views were breathtaking!!!! I would definitely stay here again!

Negative experience: My poor rating of this resort has little to do with the property or amenities. Wyndham is notorious for high pressure sales pitches. They basically hold new privileges ransom. If you do not attend an “ information session” you lose out. Currently the new perk is to have the ability to use extra points used-at a number of other properties in PCB or wherever you happen to be staying. A checkbox needs to get checked… The staff has called us literally every single day of our vacation to get us to attend a meeting. The promise is an hour, but that’s a fantasy. Why, if this new opportunity is due any owner, are we required to attend. It’s more of the same game. We paid far too much for the number of points we own, to sell them back. It is pennie’s on the dollar. I see that ee will simply need to reject calls and forfeit any new opportunity for point usage. A huge mistake on our part to buy into Wyndham. AND the mid range hotels are a hit n miss with regard to maintenance, location and flat out desirability. .

Negative experience: Avoid if possible. They do not care about you, just your money. They will lie to you to get a sale. Location is nice and rooms when clean are OK, but the views are nice.

Negative experience: Hi I left emerald beach today. I was rather disappointed, there was a roach in the kitchen, our door frame was broken. There were stains on our sheets one side of elevators were broken half of our stay (5 days) our water did not stay hot for a whole shower. The escalators were broken the day we left which we needed to use multiple times. Besides that there was a Starbucks which was nice, an ice cream and pizza shop. And nice access to the beach.

Fantastic experience: Love the rooms, facilities, pools, amd location. Beautiful beach and water. The pools are awesome and clean even with poolside family friendly entertainment. The rooms are very clean and have everything that we need. Staff is helpful and friendly. We will defiantly keep returning to this property and area. We had a wonderful time on our vacation here. Many good restaurants in the area as well! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Greatest Resort in PCB. 3 Pools, Tiki Hut, Skybar, activities, spacious, clean upscale condos of all sizes. Great vacation spot for singles, couples, families as well as group getaways.

Positive experience: We had a beautiful condo with a beautiful view. Only complaint I have is they really don't have any ementaties. The Tiki bar was rarely open and the snack shop was closed most of the time

Fantastic experience: Great hotel. Great location. Love the ocean view hotel I enjoyed the view. I had a few problems with this hotel. If you stay at the second third or fourth floor it’s partially noisy at night time. Also most of the time the elevators are broken or out of order. Overall I give this hotel a 5 star rating, there weee a few minor issues but this is a beautiful vacation hotel.

Negative experience: The parking garage is a nightmare! It’s not made for the bigger, longer trucks so it’s very tight. You also have to take a total of 3 elevators to get to your condo from the garage (if you don’t park on the 3rd floor, then it’s 2). If your loaded down, like most folks… it makes it very bothersome. Now for the condo. We stayed in 2330, the view was amazing, but with the furniture they have out there (way too big for the space) you can’t enjoy the balcony as it should be. Looked like the flooring in the main areas was newer, made it very easy for sand clean up. Which, again, if you’ve got gear, you will have sand since there is no place to actually store your stuff. All of the closets were full of broken and unused items from the condo. So the dining area became our holding spot. The beds were comfortable enough but we had to go out and buy pillows - the ones in the condo were awful. We also had roaches. The fridge wasn’t working properly but they replaced that during our stay (that’s another story!) They do have walkways to the beach but no ramps (that we saw) for wagons. You will need to carry that down the stairs! What!!?? My opinion, there are way better places for the money and location… just keep looking and do your research. I will say, a week if perfect beach weather just about made up for the condo!

Positive experience: We're staying on the wyndham side of this resort. Great view from any room. Fast elevators. Only drawback is the parking garage being on the other side of the highway. At least they have a sky bridge connecting the hotel to the garage.

Negative experience: Roaches This is a nice place. How ever they do have ROACHES. Gave it a 1 star because of the roaches and the fear of bringing them home in our luggageYou see them at times but in the morning when you get up and turn on the light is when you see the little ones. We spent all the next day after getting home cleaning all our luggage. One person with our party did have them in their luggage. We found them 1st day their and cleaned all the drawers and cabinets, under the stove and refrigerator. Found them inside the dishwasher & toaster also. It was a very nasty kitchen. We also bought roach traps and put out. The roaches were in all rooms. Big small & medium sizes. Parking garage was nice, pools were nice and the staff was friendly. Good beach access with plenty of rental chairs and umbrellas. Plenty of room for tents also. Other than the roaches and the dirty room this is a nice place. Very convenient with good places to eat.

Negative experience: This was the curtains going out on the balcony, the ceiling had black mold in it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. The couch that made a bed was nothing but springs. The bag of laundry that they brought us was still wet and not folded. Very disappointed in our stay. And will never stay here again.

Negative experience: Horrible experience , floors were not clean, there were so many spiders, bath tub was not cleaned, dishes were not cleaned before we got there, Horrible would never go again

Negative experience: My family stayed on 20th floor Parking quite far, we had to take 2 elevators to our condo ( I wished they had mentioned about parking ) The lobby smelled discussing!!! Could be cheap cleaning solution? But it smelled bad Our bedroom window was covered in bird poop ! So NOT OK !!! I could not enjoy my ocean view,very upset about it . Beds comfortable and clean Kitchen cabinets very loud ,other all furniture crying for update!!! And please GER RID OF THAT NASTY COUCH !!! From parking your car to your condo you will sweat it's so humid no fans!!! Elevator wait durable .... 5 minutes Oh and on third day of our stay there was very loud construction noises.

Fantastic experience: It was an amazing experience. Everyone was so nice and the condo and property were amazing. Only down fall was on our side only 2 elevators worked and for 1 day we only had 1.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE THE RESORT WAS BEAUTIFUL HOWEVER OUR CONDO HAD ROACHES BADLY AND 7 days gots $2100 and they would only refund $350 and wouldn’t move us

Positive experience: Great place for family vacations. Lots of attractions near the building, a tiki bar, shaved ice vendor and 2 pools on the premises. Amazing views, many seats on balconies for larger families. The only problem is there is many elevator issues right now. My best advice is renting a condo that isn’t TOO high so you can take the stairs most of the time. If you have a problem with stairs or waiting on elevators, this place is not for you in 2023. Still a good place though.

Positive experience: We rented a condo for a week. Great location and amenities. Staff was very professional but not overly strict and uptight. Very relaxing crowd. We were especially impressed with the bartender named Alex. He went out of his way to accommodate our evey need and question. Alex even help us with our bags when he was off the clock and made sure our vacation was top notch. Security team was friendly and attentive. They shut everything down early so thats why I give it 4 stars. There is plenty of nightlife walking distance if that's what you want. This is family resort. We will definitely stay here again.

Positive experience: The resort was nice, but it was dirty beyond belief. Sink was clogged the entire time we were there even though they said they would fix it, and the shower head had black mold on it (they did replace that in a very timely manner. The condo that we stayed in was well put together and did come with some things like a sun shade and other beach fun toys, so that was nice. I would stay there again in hopes that the cleaning would be better the next go around, but I'm not saying I wouldn't look anywhere else first.

Positive experience: The elevator situation needs to be resolved. Multiple elevator banks not working during peak season on a 25 story tower is really frustrating. Our unit was really nice and comfortable, but the property needs better maintenance.

Negative experience: This whole building had the most awful smell. It was like rotting garbage and wet dogs. Half of the elevators were broken so you have to wait about 10 minutes to get one. Our condo had black mold on the ceilings, shower curtains and in the ice maker. Patio had broken furniture and a dirty, sticky table. Washer was broken prior to check in and Vacasa did not divulge this. So we spent about 4 hours of vacation time making phone calls and waiting on repairman to come and work on it. Ultimately, it could not be fixed. We were told to use a laundromat! This facility is very hard to navigate. Parking deck and one pool across the street from the building connected by a bridge. Bridge level doesn’t have elevator to rooms so then you must take escalators or elevators down to lower lobby and over to other elevators. Such a pain. I will not ever go back again and will never use Vacasa to book a vacation.

Negative experience: Pretty nice place to stay with family. Great location beautiful views. Our condo definitely could have been cleaner. Definitely don't use any dishes without washing them first. Also they only have 2 out of 4 elevator's working and a LOT of people using them, so you wait a really long time. After checkout I was charged $40 with no explanation as to why, I called them they say I was given 6 bracelets and only left 5 in the room. Which was not true my trip was for 5 people not 6. I probably won't ever stay here again for that reason. Edit to add that every morning when we woke up the floors were wet from condinsation and all the food we had out was also ruined. A bag of sugar some cookies and other things. Everything was moist

Negative experience: The common areas and elevators smell horrible! It is the biggest turn off.... I will not be back. I can't handle these smells. I have other reasons for 1 star but if the resort starts with some better cleaning and automatic scents at least I could look past the other stuff.

Negative experience: Our room was disgusting upon arrival, linens had not been changed from previous guests but were made up like they had been, crumbs and hair were in our sheets so we had to wash everything our first night, washer and dryer were still full. Floors were dirty as my toddlers feet were pitch black after an hour of being in the room. Dirty utensils in the kitchen put away as if they’re clean. Elevators were slow and broken. The breezeway was filled with hot trash smell from the trash chute. We got stuck on an elevator with our toddler while leaving. 2 stars for the pool across the sky bridge which she enjoyed.

Fantastic experience: Amazing location!! Our unit was oceanfront, steps from the beach and very spacious for a one bedroom, 2 bath unit. There were 5 of us 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The children had the bunk beds and pullout couch, spending most of the time in the evening on the balcony enjoying themselves and the sound of the waves. Location was perfect, close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment, many within walking distance or a short drive. Beach and pools were amazing, great getaway!!

Positive experience: In my opinion all PCB condos are great as far as looks. Some have more amenities than others but for me the elevator situation is what makes or breaks a condo. Emerald beach has 4 elevators on both ends so the wait times were very favorable. Only two were working on the beach access only end is the only reason they did not get 5 stars. Even with only 2 working the wait times were only bad when there was a mad rush to get off the beach when a storm rolled through. All other times the wait time was minimal. They have a crew on check in/out day to assit with keeping everything moving. It's expected to be chaos on those days but the staff made it manageable and we're super friendly and helpful the entire time. A nice young man working there actually rolled the cart that my wife was pushing. They have a sky bar for adults, ice cream and Starbucks for everyone. Had a great experience here and will be staying here again. It's in walking distance to the best place in PCB, Funland, and hidden lagoon mini golf and go karts.

Positive experience: Nice place. No covers or blankets of any kind. Bring plenty. Not a hotel. Wash your own towels and such. But great pools for kids. Nice beach area. Love not having to walk across road to get to car.

Positive experience: Only 1 of 4 elevators are working on East Side of Resort. Parking Garage is across the street and is Mayhem. The gates is wide open. I Parked 1st level saw 2 guys walk thru wide open gates and the 4th time they took something out of Truck and left in a hurry. Supposed to have printed Parking Tag on dash but some don't. Some cars are doubled parked. Our condo is right beside the buildings Air Conditioners 50ft x 50ft Very Loud. Sitting on Balcony and started feel rain but NO Clouds. it was someone on upper floors cleaning their balcony with water. Wind pushed the water inside to the slider Door. Lounge chairs $30/day (per person) and $5umbrella came with Condo but you must get here super early 6-8am to get closer to ocean. to get chairs & umbrella That will be your chair for the rest of your stay. Beautiful area warm ocean. Earlier the better. They start collecting Chairs @ 3;00 pm must be out of chairs by 4:00 pm.

The view is immaculate so beautiful. We saw dolphin early in the morning at shore.. I highly recommend this place!

Positive experience: Our unit we stayed in was nice and the beach and the ocean view was great. However every time I tried to sit outside someone nearby would start smoking and that ruined it as I have no desire to sit and breathe in second hand smoke. Also the area around the resort is pretty run down and not very walkable with no sidewalks. And the beachside pool is very overcrowded, it would be wise to put a second beachside one in. We will not be back

Negative experience: Reception service was awful. There's a lady called FRANCES, who shouldn't be working there, or shouldn't work with people at all... She's very rude, and obviously hates kids. This place is just not for her, she needs a more quiet place than a beachfront hotel reception, with lots of families with kids...

Positive experience: Condo was very nice, spacious kitchen, comfortable bed. Front balcony view to beach and ocean. We went in December off season price was great. We enjoyed because beach and restaurants were not crowded. I would like to go every year at that time.

Negative experience: Very please with room, however, parking is very tight. Response from resort employees very lacking. Security response and communication concerning hit and run terrible.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful area of Panama city beach Florida. We enjoy staying on this end of the beach. There is plenty to do just steps away yet far away from the hustle and bustle. Wonderful condos easy convenient parking garage .

Fantastic experience: The staff was very professional but warm and inviting also. The only downside was the fire alarm went off 3 different days requiring us to vacate the building, but it was due to some faulty equipment. We felt that should have been addressed sooner.

Positive experience: This is a nice resort in a great location. We enjoyed our stay and our condo was beautiful, as were the views. The elevators had some issues but we found this to be common with these high rises. The pool and tiki bar were great and we would definitely stay here again.

Negative experience: They put us near the roof, 19th floor where they where working very loudly all through the last 2 days. Couldn't hear the TV or nap as I am here to relax. It was the roof they were working on. I feel like we could have been told about renovations as it would have made a difference.
