Positive experience: This is always an awesome experience. Captain Brad gives a great tour and takes time to give interesting facts and back stories on the different things you’ll experience. All the staff is extremely nice and helpful, except the older woman who sometimes works the front desk. She’s usually angry and rude which otherwise would make this a 5 star experience.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, these guys were closed however, it was really neat to walk around and stretch my legs out. They have some great water toys, and you can tell that they take pride and keeping their place clean and organized.

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful place, we chose capt Mitchs everglades tour becuase it felt more intimate and not flooded with crowds & touritsy flash. It was the genuine experience of touring the everglades, very upclose and personal riding thru the small channels that the bigger air boats can't do. Saw Alligator and the winding pathways were breathtaking! Our captain was amazing with talking to us about things very knowledgeable about the gators in the area and where they like to hang out. The sweet girl at the office was amazing with helping us make our reservation and making us feel welcome. I highly recommend checking them out for your airboat tour for the real everglades experience!

Positive experience: Cashier was so rude. We were a few minutes late for the 15 minute arrival time; she mentioned our lateness no less than 5 times during our cash out. Would not accept $10 coupon because we initially forgot to “verbally” mention it. Giving 3 stars bc the boat captain was funny and knowledgeable. With so many other air boat choices close by I recommend trying another one.

Negative experience: The boat ride and boat captain were great! It was the crabby woman at the counter who convinced me to find another airboat operation next time. I’ve always taken my family to Capt Mitch’s in the past and we all had a great time. Businesses should never expose customers to miserable people like her if they want to stay in business!

Fantastic experience: We had a big party of 21. The accommodated us easily and professionally. We brought our own coast guard approved lifejackets and they checked them to make sure they fit the standard. This is one of the only family run airboat tours down in the Everglades and was probably the best I’ve been on. We saw 3 gators and I learned so much about the area. Truly an amazing experience.

Negative experience: I don’t think I have ever experienced this bad of customer service before. Over the phone spoke with two different ladies on two different days and they both were extremely rude and unreasonable. The first lady we spoke to while making the booking was very inconvenienced by our phone call, extremely impatient and rude to me while making the booking. The second, was just as rude while I was inquiring why we were charged more than agreed upon by the first lady. Apparently, if you don’t mention the discounted price offered on their website AGAIN at check in, they will not honor it (even though agreed in the pricing when we booked). Anyways, after we were charged we noticed this and they refused to honor that- referring to the small print on the website about the additional mention on check in. Anyways, I get it, but who has rules like this to claim a discount and the customer service and lack of professionalism is what really did it for us. Despite being kind and trying to talk it though, she immediately went into defense mode and was argumentative, raising her voice. Will not be booking this company again and do not recommend as there are hardworking, kind and respectable business out there we would rather support.

Fantastic experience: We had an absolute blast! Brad, our captain is very knowledgeable about the alligators and other wildlife in the area. He made it fun to learn all kinds of cool things. AND We got to hold a two-year-old alligator!!!! I highly recommend going on one of their tours!!!!!!!!!

Positive experience: No thrill ride here, not very warm and welcoming and friendly. Not given any clear instructions after purchasing the ticket, but you stand around outside and wait for somebody to call your name. Not really any thrill or real excitement...just a laid back mediocre airboat ride through some mangrove trails. They don't open up the motor and really do anything too thrilling. A decent thing is that the guide stops sometimes and discusses some of the nature and details around us. Just middle of the road tourist airboat ride trap.

Fantastic experience: Captin Darrell, was an excellent guide we found plenty of gators big to small. Watched a gator catch a fish. Learned about the ecosystem would definitely take this tour again!

Positive experience: Driver went very slow compared to others we have experienced. I almost fell asleep at times because he was going so slow and there was nothing to see but trees. We did see a couple of alligators when we started out, but I would not choose this airboat ride again.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience! Fun 1 hour trip, saw a few alligators and birds and fish. Water was so clear! Mangroves looked healthy, fun to see the walking trees. Captain Adam is wonderful, told us a lot of history and info about the Everglades. Close to Naples, and Everglades City is right down the road!

Positive experience: Nice boat ride on the Everglades. Fun if you've never been! Great history of the area. We didn't seem to travel too far into the glades. There was highway traffic nearby and one canal was right next to the gas station. Saw one gator. Great for families and little ones that don't want to spend hours out on a boat ride. Small area to buy drinks and snacks while you wait

Fantastic experience: Renting the unit was easy, and Dawn was very helpful and pleased to work with. The price for a large climate controlled unit was surprisingly low. I am very happy to switch from where I was previously renting. It is also very clean.

Negative experience: Save your money boat never went on plane you'd be better off watching animal planet if you want to learn about the everglades 0 thrill compared to other companies and do not sit in the front you will end up as wet as the water it's self boats need a grass flare

Negative experience: Boat went about 5mph, never made it on plane and the group in the front got soaked. Saw more gators at the dock then we did on the boat (2) have been on other boat yours and this was not even comparable. The boat even broke down which I understand happens but was icing on the cake

Fantastic experience: Great experience on a Sunday morning excursion. Just the 3 of us with a knowledgeable and kind captain. We've learnt a lot on the everglades, it's alligators (we saw 4), a manatee, birds and also the snakes that became the invasive specie after the last hurricane. We've done another boat 7 years ago but was not as good as this one. I would come again for sure !

Fantastic experience: Dwayne was an awesome captain! We saw nearly 10 gators! It was beautiful. The scenary was great, company was awesome and definitely highly recommend! The boat was loud but understandable since that's the engine to get around but was not a bumpy ride. Very smooth ride.

Negative experience: Office staff were absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t give them a dime. Go to one of the other airboat tours, don’t give them your money. Captain Dwayne was amazing it’s too bad these people ruin it

Fantastic experience: Captain Gesehen was very knowledgeable. He obviously loves his job, and the critters as well. He took time to afford us knowledge of the ecosystem and the residents within. He demonstrates an attachment to both. The staff at the dock were friendly and knowledgeable. The equipment is tight, and safety is paramount. Our one hour airboat tour was the highlight of our vacation. A comfortable ride for all ages. Can’t wait to go again sometime.

Fantastic experience: This was a bucket list activity for our Florida trip and it didn't disappoint. We arrived at 9:50 am without reservations, with a party of 12 and we were on the boat by 10am! We saw lots of gators and birds. Very reasonable price for the experience! The kids even held a baby gator after the boat ride!

Fantastic experience: Awesome ride with captain Hunter today! Our girls (5 and 7 yo) loved it! Felt save and saw the baby gator afterwards (they got to touch it!). This company is family owned and it feels like it’s very private (less touristy than the others..), very friendly people!

Negative experience: we just seen 2 alligators closed to the pier then nothing for 45 mn and at the end,no baby to hold as described in the ad

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed their Airboat drive. Captain Dwayne was excellent. We saw quite a few aligators in and out of the water, and even a family of Manatees, parents and a baby.

Negative experience: Not ONE single gator was seen. There are no microphones on the headsets and they are simply earmuffs. The whole point of this tour is an airboat ride and to see gators. We went in Earls airboat tour and saw dozens of gators. Considering it's almost $50US each, for a 40 minute airboat tide only, that's WAY overpriced. I own a 19' bowrider boat at home and know the costs of fuel an upkeep for a boat. We would NOT recommend this tour . Go 10 minutes further and you're at Earls. Earls was similar priced, was a 50 minute ride, PLUS the price includes holding two small gators, seeing a dozen alligators and crocodiles, plus a lion and tiger. We would not do Capt. Mitchs again. I wish I could get my $100US back!

Fantastic experience: Did my 1st airboat tour on Monday November 13th. We had the first ride of the day and had the airboat all for ourselves (me and a local friend). Captain Hunter was very knowledgeable of the area where he grew up in. He gave a lot of info about the area and the different kind of animal species that live in the Everglades/Big Cypress. Since it was the 1st tour of the day he needed to explore where the animals were. Got to see 1 alligator up close (believe her name was Daisy) and lots of birds and the beautiful nature! Would definitely recommend and come back one day.

Fantastic experience: We had a very good time at Captain Mitches airboat rides. Our Captain was very funny and stopped frequently to give us a little history. He was able to call a few gators over to the boat to feed a few. They seemed to know him. lol We also got to hold a baby gator that they had on site.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience! I’ve been on multiple airboat tours throughout my life in the Everglades and this one was by far the best. Only me and three other family members on the boat, very interesting personal stories about the Everglades from our guide and lots of cool animal sightings! I would highly recommend taking a tour here. We just called them the day of and they were very accommodating. They also have a very cool resident gator!

Fantastic experience: This was a great experience! We wanted to do an airboat tour but didn't know which company to pick because there are so many to pick from. This tour was 1 hour long and full of adventure. We are so glad we picked mitch! We called while driving towards the tour, and the girl who answered the phone was wonderful! She was kind and able to get us on the next available tour many people had private tours - it just depends on how many people are present. On the tour we saw tons of wildlife, including alligators, a snake nest (but no snake thankfully), lots of birds and fish. The tour before us saw manatees but we just misses them . Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and told us tons of stories about his adventures. At the end of the tour, we got to hold a baby alligator! Great airboat everglades experience.

Fantastic experience: Just finished a tour with these nice people, the weather was great and amazing views. However, make sure to take the airboat when there is little recent rainfall. This will increase the chance that you see alligators on the boat trip. It is possible to view the alligators from the dock (almost garenteed because the water is deeper there and these animals like that).

Negative experience: Drove almost two hours to take my son tk see some gators which was on our “to do list”. U fortunately didn’t find any so was pretty disappointed I spent over $100 after tip etc. prob won’t be back. There are other airboat tours that guarantee to see a gator or money back. I’ll try them next time. My five year old was really bummed. Guess I just got a bad day….

Positive experience: Had a good time on a really nice day. It was just my wife and I on the boat. Our captain was a good guide. Unfortunately I can’t recall his name. Saw a few gators even though it’s not the best time of year to see them. Lots of fish and fowl too. Just nice to be out there cruisin around on a low humidity day.

Fantastic experience: The team at Capt Mitch's were excellent from our arrival. The check in lady was engaging and helpful while Dwayne (boat captain) ensured he showed us all the wildlife that was in and flying around the swamp. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Had family in from out of town & all were excited for this new adventure. When made reservations, both ladies were very nice & helpful. Got there & liked seeing the gators by the dock. Our guide was nice & didn't talk too much & enjoyed the boat ride. Did see 2 more gators & some birds on the ride. Know there's no guarantee on the amount of critters you see, but, felt a little rushed through. Had to wait for another group to get on the boat so started 10 minutes late & we were gone only 45 minutes. Felt like when you go on a horse ride & going out is kinda slow, but, when you turn around the horse races back to home base. Would have liked the 55 to 60 minutes that we thought we were going to get. A little disappointed, but, overall we did enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Very enjoyable airboat ride. Our Captain was courteous and informative. He took time answering questions. We saw several alligators up close as well as many birds. Lucky enough to see a roseate spoonbill. We went in the morning and had a calm day so it was warm but not too hot. This company does not use headsets for commentary but stops along the way to highlight areas of interest. Would ride with them again

Negative experience: Sooooo boring. Hardly thrilling.. Guide was unbelievably dull. Brochure lies. Guide did not give any insight into what makes the Everglades unique and special. Don't waste your money.

Fantastic experience: Great tour! Our captain’s name was Brad. He was very nice and funny and explained what we were seeing. They are also great drivers and go through some amazing mangroves and wildlife. If you get lucky, you might see an alligator in a nest. I unfortunately was not able to, but I still had a great experience, and loved holding the baby gator at the end. Such a classic Florida thing to do.

Fantastic experience: Today was a perfect day! The mangroves are awesome & saw lots of gators! Capt. Dwayne was great as our guide & told us that more of the birds would be back in Feb. Will return with our grandson!

Positive experience: The airboat ride was fun, educational, and worthwhile. I would have given this experience a perfect 5/5 stars if it weren’t for the poor conditions they kept a baby gator in inside their store. This was very disappointing to see.
