She kept us all on task and was able to wrangle an entire bus making sure to improvise our itinerary with the rain and to see certain monuments at night when it is more impactful. She shared and exuded her love and passion for the city and the history. Thank you Kathy for a wonderful DC experience!!!!

Fantastic experience: We had the most amazing time, everything was well put together and thought out for that many kiddos! All of the monuments and memorials were amazing to see and really put into perspective. Arlington and the Pentagon 9/11 memorial all I can say is wow.

Fantastic experience: Great experience we loved our tour guide, Bill and our bus driver Alex!!! Only thing I would change either eliminate some museums (like the Army museum) or add another day crammed a lot into a short trip. Some memorias would have been nice to see during the day and not at night. Made it easy to make payments and to pay for the trip and quick to respond to questions.

Fantastic experience: Nation's Classroom organized my son's 8th grade trip to Washington DC in conjunction with our local teacher chaperone team. It was organized, the payment plan and trip insurance made it easy to pay for, and gave us peace of mind. The trip itself was organized, a much longer trip than the typical 8th grade adventure - they visited all of the highlights, meals, hotels, busses and drivers, as well as admission to all of the memorials and museums they visited were included. As a travel agent- I found this to be well organized, thorough, and thought out. It was planned how I would plan a trip for my clients. My son enjoyed the trip with his friends, the freedom of his first trip without us and the adventure of a lifetime. Thanks Nations Classroom!

Fantastic experience: Our experience was excellent. Our guide, Danielle, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. Tickets were always prepared, lunches well organized, arrivals/departures went smoothly. Danielle did a wonderful job adjusting our itinerary as needed to keep us perfectly on schedule. Meals were substantial and the group always had snacks and water available. Overall, the entire experience was great and I would recommend to others.

They told me how their tour guide was apparently the best they have ever had (according to the chaperones who have been doing this many years), super informative, engaging and knowledgeable. It sounds like they made learning a lot of fun. The whole trip seemed very organized. The buses were very nice, clean and had chargers.

Positive experience: My daughter enjoyed this trip a lot. She described it as both fun and educational. The only negative point that our family had with the arrangements, was the arrival time of the airplane which was 10:40 pm. Too late for a school night.

Fantastic experience: Steve at Nations Classroom was absolutely wonderful. I chaperoned a Washington DC trip for very large group of middle schoolers, some of whom had medical and severe dietary needs. When the airline dropped the ball and left many students’ luggage behind in our home city, Steve and his team worked through the day and night to get important medicine to our students in time and to get our students’ luggage delivered to their hotel rooms. One of our students has a severe gluten allergy, and Steve’s team went out of their way to pick up and deliver safe food to our student at the scheduled meal times. He was always friendly, helpful, patient and made us feel well taken of. Our students had a wonderful, educational, and meaningful trip to the beautiful sites of Washington DC through Nations Classroom.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and sixth grade class had a wonderful experience on their DC trip thanks to NationsClassroom! She learned new things, experienced more independence and had a once in a lifetime trip with her junior-high friends!

I wish we could have dropped off and picked up at their school but it was not put into the budget. Every parent had to drive 1 1/2 hours to and from LAX twice in one week. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Very well run tour! Shout out to Danielle who is very knowledgeable. We got to see a lot of Boston, NYC, and DC is a short period of time. Lots of fun stops! I would feel very comfortable sending my child on this trip alone. All expenses were included and well worth the cost.

They did an amazing job, bringing all the students down and bringing them back. They were very helpful with their customer service when I had issues or problems leading up to the trip! The trip was well-organized, with seamless transportation and comfortable accommodation provided by Nation's Classroom. Our days were packed with exciting activities, yet everything flowed smoothly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience without any hassles. Beyond the educational aspects, the trip was incredibly entertaining. We laughed, learned, and bonded as we navigated the city together. Whether we were marveling at the monuments or sharing stories over meals, there was never a dull moment. Overall, our DC adventure with Nation's Classroom was a perfect blend of fun, organization, and entertainment. It not only deepened our understanding of American history but also created memories that will last a lifetime.

Negative experience: The bus 3 chaperones were not kind or friendly towards the kids they were yelling the whole time while bus 2 had a good time singing music and having fun. The bus experience was just not great. One of chaperones was very unkind, was yelling a lot, if they did not like the kids they should have not went, and they did not even let the kids talk a lot because they wanted to sleep. Very disorganized and multiple times they could not count the kids. The kids did not get to the hotel until around 10 pm and it was not organized right.

Negative experience: My daughter did her 8th grade class trip through this company. While the tour did let the kids go and see a bunch of really cool stuff in Washington DC it was ruined by the tour guide that my daughter's group had. He was rude to the girls and clearly had no patience for middle school aged children. If you're going to have a job like that you have to be able to deal with children. There was a point when he told the girls hurry up I have to get home to my son that is not something they need to know nor is that their problem. Super unprofessional and disappointing especially because this trip was not cheap. National classroom needs to do better with a hiring of who they have guiding our children

I wish every child could experience this type of trip!! 5stars are not enough to explain how amazing the teachers are. They learn so much!

Fantastic experience: Our school and our group had a fantastic experience. Our guide, Jodi was very knowledgeable and prepared us for what to expect at each stop. Other bus guides were jealous of the experience we were getting with our guide. Our only suggestion is to have water available for students each day on the busses. The first day our students went all day (besides lunch) without any water breaks.

Fantastic experience: My daughter went to DC with her 8th grade class for 3 days. She had a blast!! They went to just about every monument, memorial, or museum and I felt they were safe and secure. I'm so glad she had this experience with her friends.

Fantastic experience: Due to unforeseen circumstances, my son missed his flight. Nations Classroom was so accommodating and incredibly helpful allowing us to arrange for him to meet up with the group later in the day so he did not have to miss the trip. I would recommend Nations Classroom and this trip 100%.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great time on her 8th grade class trip to DC. While it was a jammed packed schedule, the logistics (flights, hotel, buses, museum entries, etc) went smoothly. No complaints, and she loved the rep that was on the bus and the sights with the kids.

Positive experience: While my son enjoyed his trip he did point out a couple things he wished were different. Their trip was to DC and when he got home he said the meal vouchers ($20) regularly came up short by roughly $5 each time and felt they should be increased by $10 not unreasonable when you consider the area. Second he wanted more time in the museums adding he felt rushed trying to stay on tract with the itinerary. Finally he said the Tour Guide had a tendency to deviate from the itinerary leaving them rushed to make it to dinner.

Positive experience: Tom, our tour leader, was exceptional. He shared so much information about the locations we visited. Days were jam packed and exhausting, wish our hotel was better (broken shower heads/handles, cockroach in hallway, rude front desk staff, mislabeled staircases) AND in VA where we ended two nights and started one morning. Really didn’t make sense to stay in Silver Spring but guessing the Hotel Silver Spring was inexpensive (it certainly appeared that way).

Fantastic experience: Washington DC was a great way of ending middle school for me, I had experience with my friends and gone places I've never seen before with other people and also gotten a lot of pictures. I also remember other schools coming to DC to end as well. It was a lot of walking but it was nice to walk in the warm weather and take photos of amazing things.

Fantastic experience: Our school just had the best experience, with the BEST (could be because she was our) tour guide Iesha. The amount of information she shared and the enthusiasm with which she shared about Washington D.C. was amazing. The school bus of 40 teenagers were engaged at all times and loved asking her questions. When she would get asked an 'out of the norm' question, she was very comfortable in letting them know that she would get them the answer and then happily followed through. NationsClassroom was very clear with instructions and reservations, which allowed for consistency throughout the trip. Negative experience: Lack of coordination with school providing sufficient notice of required forms. Complaints from kids about lack of sufficient funds for food. Several participants borrowed money to supplement meals. I received several reports of excessive speed and hard braking while my child was being transported by bus. My child’s return flights was changed and moved up by an hour and the only notification I was supposedly received was by email.

I’ve been both on the parent side and the teacher leader side of working with NationsClassroom for the last 11 years and their customer service is second to none. As a family owned business, they have dedicated themselves to focus on quality trips instead of just seeking volume. I could not ask for more from NationsClassroom and they deserve 10 stars!

Positive experience: I had a wonderful experience, but my friend didn’t. That is why I knocked down one star. The person I had was named Sarah who I highly recommended. She stated the stright facts, and she still kept the emotion behind it. She allowed us to do everything we wanted to do, and she was very kind to everyone in my group.

She even took the time to research how our hometown is connected to some of the things we saw on our trip. I recommend them to any school contemplating a class trip to DC!

Fantastic experience: I experienced the DC tour with over 200 junior high students over a 4 day period. The groups were broken up nicely for more manageability, the itinerary included every highlight I expected to see in an organized and timely way, and the tour guide was very well informed, flexible, and engaging towards our students.

Fantastic experience: Our guide Rose was phenomenal!! Genuine and caring. Got us the best tickets and so much story telling! Our bus driver was cool too. She kept us safe! What a great educational trip for me and my 8th grader and his classmates. It was both our first East coast trip and I’m glad we could see so much! Even if it did feel rushed at some stops. Did want more time to explore Smithsonian’s…..but we lucked out and got the best weather while there in DC area. I will recommend your company

Positive experience: Staff was amazing (emails prior to the trip, tour guide Rose, & bus driver). Some things weren’t available as promised (no on call doctor/nurse, pool was closed at 2nd hotel). But, everything went according to the scheduled itinerary and it was a blessing to be a part of it all! Food cards worked great too and meals provided were tasty.

Positive experience: Our tour of Washington DC and parts of Virginia was overall wonderful. We saw sooooo many things that we will never forget. Our tour guide, Rose, was lovely and helpful throughout the whole trip. We just loved her! So why the 3 star review? We were so exhausted that it was hard to enjoy it. Our itinerary said we would be getting back to our rooms around 9-9:30 and that we would begin our day by 6:30-7. That seems totally doable. Well, we didn’t get back to our rooms until 10:30-11 most nights and then add the jet lag on top of that and we were worn thin. I’m glad we saw all we did, but I would gladly pay for an extra day to spread things out and get more rest along the way. Also, the food was not always accompanied with fruits and veggies so we weren’t filling our bodies with sustaining nutrients. This led to many people becoming sick by the end of our trip. More rest and healthy food choices would have made for a more enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: This was a trip of a lifetime!!! It was so well planned every location and museum or landmark we visited was strategically thought out to flow well. Rose, our tour guide was phenomenal. She had so much knowledge and tied everything into the truth of God’s word she was obviously experienced and knew how to do her job well. But she engaged so personally too. Cassandra, our best driver was professional yet fun and engaging with the students. This entire trip surpassed my expectations I was so blessed to be on the trip
