Fantastic experience: One bucket list trip crossed off the list! My mom has been wanting to do a Mediterranean Cruise for a while and I may for gone to school for Travel and Tourism (I am no longer in that field). I did not have to plan a trip for us. I had a friend recommend Ruth to me, so I gave her a call and told her what we wanted. Ruth was with us every step of the way, she listened to what we wanted and delivered that and so much more. We never had a worry about anything on our trip as we knew everything was taken care of. We are already planning our next cruise and have Ruth looking into it for us! If you need an agent that truly cares, I highly recommend Ruth.

Fantastic experience: Mitch and the Trip Guy team really helped us hone in on the perfect Honeymoon. We had several meetings and they turned our needs into trip options for exactly what we were looking for. We spoke to Mitch on multiple occasions and he answered all our questions and gave us a lot of advice. The best part is that he had personally gone to all of our options several times so he knew the ins and outs very well. We ended up doing a split stay in St Lucia between Ladera resort and Sandals Grande. That way we could get both the mountains and the beach. Both resorts were great in their own ways. Mitch let us know the pros and cons ahead of time so we were well prepared for everything. As a personal touch, Mitch hooked us up with a dinner reservation at Jade Mountain which does not normally take reservations outside the resort. It was a fantastic meal and a gorgeous building. All in all it was an excellent trip and we will definitely be using their services again!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Mitch and his team from Trip Guy Travel. We communicated to them what we wanted for our Wedding/Honeymoon at Secrets Montego Bay Jamaica. From the start they were on top of it helping and guiding us through this process. We do not travel much and we're worried about the details of our trip but I must say Trip Guy Travel came through even when there was a mix up at the Jamaican Airport with our hotel transfer. Mitch was on it within 5 minutes and we were on our way to our resort. Again I highly recommend and thank Mitch and his team.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I worked with TripGuy and one of their agents, Christine, for our destination wedding to Cancun, Mexico and highly recommend TripGuy. Our group was about 33 people and TripGuy managed the room block contract with resort and ground transport to/from airport. Having TripGuy manage the rooms and ground transport bookings with the private transport company, Lomas Travel, was so helpful and took a HUGE load off our shoulders. TripGuy also provided a couple really helpful tools including 1) a flight list so we knew when everyone was arriving/ departing and 2) "Know Before You Document" for our group that was so informative and made guests first time to Cancun so much easier. Our agent, Christine, was great!!! Christine was so responsive and Christine was adaptable - helping us with all changes including last minute changes.

Fantastic experience: Mitch and His Team are Phenomenal. Our Family has been clients of Mitch's for years so he really knows our likes and dislikes. I called Mitch to book a surprise trip for us. Wow!!!! did we fall in love with his recommendation. Mitch said try Palamia the House of AIA. We asked for something relaxing with amazing food. I feel like everybody must come here to experience this serenity. Its hard to find amazing food, beach, rooms, and staff. Customer service was incredible it took 3 seconds to check in. We were upgraded to Beach front top floor. The beach was incredible clear and perfect blue color no rocks or seaweed. The spa was out of this world. It was the best massage we every experienced. The treatments were all natural even the steam room was producing steam from fire wood. The food was indescribable. The ingredients were such amazing quality every vegetable and fruit had a taste and smell. In the evening when you walk to restaurants you walk on cobble stone path that is slightly lite up and it was such a calm and relaxing stroll. They provided bikes that you could ride at any time. We have traveled and visited so many resorts this stood out and we will be back without a doubt. Thank you Mitch and your team. You exceeded all our expectations. you are the best travel agent and so happy that we get the privilege to work with you and your staff for so many years. This trip as AMAZING.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are so grateful to our amazing travel agent, Ruth DeMuth, for arranging for us to have a wonderful Viking Ocean Cruise from Rome to Barcelona. She took care of the travel details and set up a two-day extension for us in Rome. I love the way I don't have to worry about any glitches during our trip because Ruth monitors everything and she takes care of problems before we even know about them! Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing time on my honeymoon in Hawaii, and I used Melissa Patane from trip guy! Everything was seamless, and Melissa and her team were super available and always responded to emails quickly. She was especially helpful because I work during the week and she responded so fast I was able to basically set everything up over one weekend and all over email! While you probably don’t need a travel agent, I felt at ease knowing someone was booking my multiple flights and multiple hotel stays for the 3 islands I went to while in Hawaii as I do not travel often and I was super overwhelmed with wedding planning. She even sent some cute gifts to the hotel room to enjoy ! Booking excursions were also made easier by her team (Fer) who was super nice and answered all my many questions as well as looked into things I specifically asked for information on. I would highly recommend Melissa and her team !

Fantastic experience: A perfect vacation can only happen with perfect planning!! Thanks to some amazing planning from our travel agent Laura M. at tripguy.com, my wife and I just spent 7 perfect days at the Riu Tropical Palace in Negril Jamaica. Everything went off perfectly. The flights, Club Mobay, Reggie transportation, and RIU were all the best. The only thing to top them was the weather, which was the best ever! We arrived at the end of a storm and had sun and a glass smooth ocean for the next 6 days. Late on the 6th day (Friday) a new storm started rolling in and brought some unexpected and fun 4'+ waves to play in. The staff at the Riu were amazing. Special shout outs to Andre who was a mind reader and always there with our drinks on the beach just when we wanted them. Devaul and Omay at the buffet made each visit special and made us feel right at home. My wife has limited mobility, and the Riu Tropical Palace is perfectly designed so all the restaurants, pools, bars and entertainment are nearby and easily accessible. The Negril beaches cannot be beat, crystal clear and like glass! Already planning out next visit :-)

Fantastic experience: @wanderwithmelissa Melissa Patane was an absolute dream to work with. After planning a wedding, I didn't have the bandwidth to plan a honeymoon and she booked everything from the flights to the excursions to the car rentals. She answered all my emails within only a few hours. My husband and I had the best honeymoon ever. Also - she was able to get us free breakfast every day, resort credits and even wonderful treats in our room to greet us. I will forever be utilizing Melissa for any future trip I take. Fantastic experience: A friend and I booked a trip to St Lucia with Ruth DeMuth at Trip Guy travel and had a great experience! We were looking for a girls weekend at an all inclusive. She gave us some options for resorts and was able to answer our questions about each for comparison purposes. Once we decided which resort we wanted, she took care of booking everything. When we arrived back in Canada she followed up to see how the trip was. She was also tracking our flights to make sure there were no issues there. I generally book all my own travel but it was nice to know this time, someone was looking out for us and I could ask her any questions I had. Ruth is great and you won’t regret booking with her!

She was able to bundle our private transfers, stay at Atelier + insurance for the same price as if we booked Atelier ourselves direct. Communication is great and she is very responsive. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience using TripGuy to plan and book our honeymoon. We had a few ideas for location and Mitch had a lot of knowledge that helped us decide on where we wanted to go. Once we chose Hawaii, Mitch was very helpful in suggesting accommodations based on our budget. He gave us a few options and listed pros and cons of each one. We were also given a list of things to do and they were very helpful in booking excursions. Booking excursions through them is very helpful in the case that things go wrong. We had a helicopter ride cancelled on us last minute and just a simple email to TripGuy and they were able to rebook us with another company within a few hours. Overall they were very helpful and we had a great experience and loved our trip.

When you are on vacation and leave the country it is always good to have a reliable point of contact. Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about Melissa, and the excellent job she did in putting together this trip to the Beaches Resort in Turks & Caicos. This trip was very special for my wife & me, because we were taking our 3 families with 7 grandchildren, ages 1-16, and we wanted everything to be perfect. Each family had a private villa, which Melissa helped me to pick out. She had excellent suggestions, based on years of experience. She booked all the flights for us, as well. Everything went according to plan. The planning was completely stress-free for me. Several years ago my wife & I wanted to go to Italy. Melissa recommended the town of Sorrento, on the Amalfi coast and booked us into the Grand Hotel Capodimonte. It turned out to be a wonderful trip. I have complete confidence in Melissa & her staff.

Fantastic experience: Just went on a Virgin Voyages cruise “French Days and Ibiza Nights” that we booked with Mitch and Tripguy Travel and it was amazing. Absolutely one of the best cruises I’ve ever been on, probably the best. We had a blast. The food was amazing (no buffet lines here). All specialty dining, entertainment and sodas etc was included along with tips already built into the price. Virgin has an amazing attention to detail like no other cruise I’ve been on. Do not miss the Scarlet night party. Oh and it’s also kid free. Another huge plus. (Even though I love my babies). It’s nice to have some time away. Positive experience: The hotel was fine but they were trying to sell us on timeshare to get a better room. Unfortunately, we had to sleep in a small bed with 2 full size beds. We ordered a king size but they tried to upsell us. Other than that, it was a great hotel.

Fantastic experience: I used TripGuy Travel to book at family trip to celebrate mine and my husband's 40th birthday. Mitch and his team provided multiple all inclusive, family friendly resorts in the locations I requested. They were very accommodating when I changed my mind about one of the locations and provided additional resorts to consider when asked. TripGuy Travel was very quick to respond to emails and would ask for feedback on how I feel about their recommendations. Once we chose our resort, TripGuy Travel booked our room and flight with ease. They required a deposit and had a payoff date clearly outlined. Not having to pay for the whole trip at once was greatly appreciated. Our trip went off seamlessly and Mitch even checked in with me during the trip to make sure everything was going well. Definitely recommend TripGuy Travel!!

Fantastic experience: I had never used a travel agency before, but I was so overwhelmed with planning a wedding that I did not have the energy to put into planning the honeymoon that we wanted. BOLI on FB led me to reach out to Mel. Mel and Fer were incredible. I didn’t know where to start, and they asked a few questions, I set some guidelines, and they provided me with several different options to narrow down the search. I knew that the week was a popular travel week, but I never felt rushed, pressured, or stressed, and I really felt that they found the best deal for us. Our trip was perfection. We went to Secrets Cap Cana in DR and really had the full honeymoon experience; swim out, spa time, etc. I can’t say thank you enough to Mel and Fer for planning such a beautiful and relaxing trip for us. I would highly recommend their services and hope to use them again in the future - who knew planning a trip could be so simple?

Fantastic experience: We had an absolutely amazing time celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at Atelier Playa Mujeres! We stayed in a rooftop suite from June 19th-30th. We worked with Ruth Demuth from Tripguy Travel to book this trip. This was our third time planning a vacation with her and we have never been disappointed. She really listens and makes excellent recommendations based on the desired vacation experience. She is very good at what she does, has a lot of experience, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for help with planning a vacation! Everything about this resort is incredible. The food and drinks were excellent, we never had a meal we didn’t enjoy. The bartenders are very talented. The service was top notch, every employee we encountered greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to ensure guests were happy. Shout out to Miguel who waited on us at the beach. We ordered drinks once and he kept them coming. We never had an empty glass, and he even delivered to the ocean! The main pool is fun, and for the most part, there was just enough activity to keep from getting bored, but not too much to interfere with those relaxing. We enjoyed the aqua dance classes. We never had an issue finding a chair at the beach or the pool. I did visit the spa twice, once for the hydrotherapy that was included as an Inspira guest, and once for an 80-minute massage with hot stones and another hydrotherapy session. I loved the hydrotherapy, and the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. For those on the fence about booking as an Inspira guest, it is worth it! The perks are worth the extra cost and made our vacation feel extra special. The views from our rooftop suite were spectacular, the infinity rooftop pool was amazing, the Inspira beach and pool were nice as we retreated there when other parts of the resort were more crowded. Our butlers, Oswaldo and Luis, made it very easy to get reservations each night at the restaurant and time of our choice, made spa reservations, and were available anytime to answer questions and assist with anything we needed. They also left us treats in our room a few times which included a bottle of champagne and strawberries; a chocolate dessert, a bottle of wine, and flowers on our anniversary; and a bubble bath with rose pedals and wine. There were only a couple drawbacks. The first was the pressure to attend a breakfast to hear information about the resort (a.k.a. the membership sales pitch). After we checked in, the concierge sat with us to go over the resort map. She was very nice and gave us a good overview of where things were located. Towards the end she was pushing us to attend the breakfast. We politely declined but she kept pushing. We finally escaped, but she called us twice after we left her over the next two days and cornered us in the hall a few days later. It was a bit awkward, but I don’t think it happens to everyone. Our friends were never asked to attend the breakfast. The other issue was we had a leak in our room. It rained a bit off and on the first couple of days we were there (and from what I heard from other guests, it rained heavily during the week leading up to our stay) and we ended up with a small trash can in our room to catch the dripping water. At one point maintenance had to come and mop up our entire room as the leaking increased and created a small flood. Despite this, we still had a wonderful vacation and would absolutely return to this resort! It is the best all-inclusive resort we’ve experienced.

Negative experience: We reached out to Mitch at the TripGuy to help us plan our honeymoon. Initially we wanted to go to Italy and Greece and he encouraged us to only go to one country since he didn't believe 10 full days was enough time to do both. We took his advice and only went to Italy (however when we were there we met a lot of other people who did both Italy and Greece in the same time frame and didn't seem to have any concerns with their time limits in each place). We had some back and forth with the booking of hotels and flights because I was able to find better deals through Expedia than he was offering through his services. We ultimately booked our flights ourselves and decided to let Mitch book our hotels. We had problems at EVERY hotel we stayed at. The hotel in Florence was dirty and run down, the staff there were horribly rude and disrespectful. The package we booked claimed breakfast was included but there was no breakfast available at the hotel at all. Our room became infested with ants which got all over our lugage and clothes. The hotel staff blamed us for attracting the ants with the dirt on our shoes.... Mitch reached our to see how it was going and we explained our disappointment but he said there was nothing he could do (so not sure why he reached out). To add to the frustration this run down hotel was just blocks away from newer, nicer hotels that were priced cheaper online. The hotel he booked for us in Rome was supposed to have parking and it didn't so we had to pay for a public garage overnight- however Mitch did say we could submit our reciept and get reimbursed for this. The hotel he booked us in Sorrento was supposed to be the more luxurous hotel for our trip. While the hotel itself was nice he booked us a room with 2 single beds.... for our honeymoon... Overall, I'd just recommend putting in the time to book things yoruself. You will probably end up saving some money and getting better deals.

Fantastic experience: Melissa helped us book our honeymoon in Greece, and we had such a wonderful time! We’ve never utilized a travel company before and were very impressed! She was SO quick to respond and gave us different options and price points to choose from as well as some guidance, as she’s been to Greece herself a few times. We went to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini and stayed on the most beautiful properties with incredible views. All the food recommendations were wonderful as well. Negative experience: Just to put this review into the TripGuy Group that I would like to share my past trip from June 12th, 2024 to June 16th, 2024 at Majestic Elegance Resort in Cancun, Mexico. I had three children that lost their wristbands and two of my children recovered their wristbands, but the third child could not find his anywhere. It was just one more day that we will be leaving Majestic Elegance Resort, and I took my child to the front desk to ask for a new replacement, but they made us pay for the fees of $90.00 due to their policy. I was thinking that we would be honest to go tell them since it’s only one day left to see if they could give us the discount for the wristband but they still collected the full amount of $90.00. I had no complaint about the replacement fees, but I gave an advice to Misiael that was working at the counter that I would like them to make their wrist bands more secure for all the customers that come to the resort so this issue won’t be happening again in the future, but it looks like the manager was there came to explain all kind of the issues that was on their policy and the right to kick out some customers from Majestic Elegance Resort to me. I did not say anything other than giving advice for them to make their wristbands more secure, so in the future any of the customers that come to the resort for vacation or wedding ceremony won’t have to deal with this issue again. In this case of losing the wristband and I must deal with the person that work at the counter, I consider that the service is not good. If my daughter is not going to celebrate her wedding at this Majestic Elegance Resort in Cancun, Mexico then I will not visit this resort and not to lose so much money to be at this resort. Just to share to all customers that will be going to this Majestic Elegance Resort to celebrate their wedding to know that if you will be going to this resort, be careful don’t lose the wristband or you will be charged the fees of $90.00 no matter what happens they will collect the fees.

Fantastic experience: We took a river cruise on the Seine River with Viking in May from Paris to close to Normandy. It was fabulous and totally worthwhile. We had a problem with our reservation for my wife and Viking would not budge with a change. I did not get anywhere with them but when I turned it over to Mitch, he got the exception approved and it was smooth sailing after that. Much appreciation to Mitch for an outstanding job, making our trip very memorable.

Fantastic experience: We had a destination wedding in Mexico and hired TripGuy to assist with our wedding. We couldn't have been more pleased with their service. Their Chief Executive Engineer, Mitch, took the time to meet with us to help narrow down which resort would work best for us and the vision of our wedding. We ended up having 80 guest attend the wedding. TripGuy handled all of their rooming requests and transportation needs, even during our wedding weekend. TripGuy was also a great resource for scheduling events during the weekend such as a boat rental for 45 people, including snorkeling and lunch. We highly recommend using TripGuy for any of your future travel needs!

Fantastic experience: Trip Guy coordinated my brother’s destination wedding in Quintana Roo, Mexico and they did an excellent job. We were particularly delighted by the transportation they set up with Lomas travel. All details were covered and the service was excellent! Trip Guy provided us with all the necessary details to be well prepared for the trip. Finally, the resort was absolutely beautiful.

Fantastic experience: Great agency - very helpful and on top of things. I don't usually use a travel agent, but they are my go-to from now on. I had forgotten my gold necklace in the safe at my hotel in Cancun and they worked with me to retrieve it and FedEx it back to me. Priceless having that kind of support. Rockstars all of them!

Fantastic experience: Mitch and the entire TripGuy team could not have been better to work with. They booked a river cruise for us and they made sure we had all we needed to make every arrangement run smoothly. To top it off, they went above and beyond when one of our party was unable to go on the trip due to a medical issue. Viking balked at substituting another family member in the same cabin ... but Mitch persisted and was able to resolve the issue. We were most grateful to TripGuy Travel, while remaining equally disappointed in Viking. I highly recommend TripGuy Travel and look forward to having them plan more trips for us in the future.

Negative experience: I was very disappointed. Rooms were not ready when we got there. Had to wait for that. The ocean was absolutely horrendous rocks everywhere. Big rocks could not even swim so much seaweed the people were very nice. The food was OK. Set up a time for them to pick up my bags and they were almost 30 minutes late.Housekeeping did not come every single day and when they did come, they did not restock when I landed in Cancun. I bought a carton of cigarettes the gentleman that sold them to me asked if I had other cigarettes I said yes. I was pulled over in customs. They went through my stuff and like I said, I had other cigarettes plus the car in that I just bought. I was detained they held my passport until I paid them $557 American money then they gave me all the cigarettes back after I paid it. I will never come back to Mexico!

Fantastic experience: Laura Burns has been our travel agent for years. We have always had the best service and felt very confident with our travel plans/itinerary thanks to her. We recently stayed at the TRS Coral. We had an amazing experience. I cant complain one bit. The service was excellent. Food was great. Would go back again. We had our vows renewed while we were there. Laura and Gina did an amazing job making the day special for us, from the beach location, the roses in the sand and the bouquet I was surprised with. Lomas is such a good transportation company, their staff is always so welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Our honeymoon trip to Cancun all inclusive resort was incredible!!! With TripGuy everything was arranged for us and it was exactly what we asked for. I shared we wanted to relax, drink, swim and just enjoy each other. The resort they found for us was exactly that! They answered all of our questions and I felt at ease. It was amazing to just show up and have everything taken care of for us. The private transport from the hotel helped us feel safe and taken care of! The communication was great and we were able to get everything done that we wanted to do! So grateful for an incredible trip!

Fantastic experience: Melissa has truly been a dream to work with. We used her and her team including Fer (who we also have had such an amazing experience working with) to book our honeymoon in Hawaii in April 2023 and our one year anniversary trip this year to Italy in April 2024. We gave Melissa a budget and she always managed to provide us with options within or decently cheaper than our budget! In addition, she booked our train and private car transfers which made our trip genuinely stress free. When there was an issue with transportation while away, we emailed her and her team (during off hours may I add) and they answered quickly and helped us navigate the situation with ease. I plan to use Melissa for every trip I go on going forward and I am constantly referring her to friends and family who echo my remarks. Within our budgets, Melissa was able to secure stays at 4 star hotels/resorts for both trips and she was always honest about what was worth spending vs not and provided insight in prime location and how to navigate travel within our stays (We stayed in Sorrento but because of her insight we built in day trips to Capri, the Amalfi Coast and Tuscany too!) All in all, they are a well oiled machine, very responsive and helpful in adjusting itineraries, flight seat assignments, and being flexible within our budget. Thank you Melissa & Fer for making our trips stress free and helping us achieve our dream vacations!

Fantastic experience: Our travel agent put us on to this wonderful resort 4 years ago. We spent a great week at Live Aqua resort and vowed to come back the next year. However, the next year was COVID. So, 4 years later, Laurie got us back there again. And Live Aqua was even more wonderful the second time! The place is gorgeous. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, even when we got a little cranky about cabanas. The food was even better this time around. Really, the only complaint we had was that the house wine was pretty bad. I love the place, and highly recommend it to anyone who might be interested. And Laurie is the best travel agent ever!!! She has planned numerous great trips for us.

Fantastic experience: We just returned a week ago from a wonderful week at live Aqua, Cancun. The resort is so beautiful and so tranquil. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a cabana on the beach every day. The food was top-notch! Fine dining!! The wine could use an upgrade, but that’s a minor detail. Our awesome, travel agent, Laurie, Orr Made these arrangements for us for the second time!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough how wonderful Melissa and Fer were in helping us plan our trip to Portugal this April. All of the recommendations were top-notch, and the excursions which they suggested and booked for us really enhanced our experience. Fantastic experience: Mitch and his team have an extraordinary amount of knowledge resorts in Mexico. He provided us extensive information about each resort and was able to breakdown reviews regarding quality, luxury, service and entertainment to help us choose what hotel was best for our group. We utilized TripGuy Travel for our destination wedding through a recommendation from our wedding planner who resides in Mexico. They made the process very easy for us and our guests, once we made a decision on where to stay. Mitch fielded multiple calls with us and gave his objective takes on each of the resorts as he has had clients stay nearly everywhere. He was able to connect us with private transfer company (Lomas) and well as taking care of processing all our guests’ accommodations months before the wedding. There was some back and forth for scheduling the transfers, however, that is to be expected when handling ~60 guests. They absolutely know what they are doing and would highly recommend to other travelers or couples planning a destination wedding!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Melissa and Fer on my most recent vacation VIRM in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It was a milestone birthday trip and it was amazing! It was my daughter's first trip out of the country and first all-inclusive. We had the best time. They also arranged private transportation for me which was seamless.
