Negative experience: It been 3 full weeks since AAA disabled my truck and left me abandoned. I purchased a new AAA battery & when the bumbling tech installed it, he turned on the trucks anti-theft. Now the truck won't start. The dashboard lights stay on, so the brand-new battery sits dead. Angelos's towing, who did this, towed it to their shop for 5 days and did nothing but leave my window down & rummage through the back of my truck. I've waited 4+ hours for techs, sat on hold forever, and been transferred and past to every employee. NO ONE CARES... I have been a member for many years. I have 3 vehicles insured with AAA. I will be finding a new insurance carrier asap. Then they promised me a free upgrade, see pic. And they took it away after they killed my car. So, I'm stuck in the middle nowhere with a truck that won't start. My new AAA battery is dead so I can't work on it. Good Times I'm paying AAA insurance for a dead truck that's been sitting 3 weeks. A truck disabled by AAA. AAA says I'm on my own. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Very confusing when you walk in as to where to go for what service you need. I wasn’t the only one, as several people who arrived after me had the same issue. There were two people who looked right at me and didn’t offer to help with directions. Only after I interrupted did they send me to one of the people who ignored me. I am here in person because leaving multiple messages got me nowhere. The office is clean though.

Negative experience: I went to this location to get my registration renewed. The transaction was completed without any problems. AAA was having a special for members with autorenewal in place. From the associate that was helping me, she mentioned 1 yr free for another person under my membership. I said okay and gave her a name and a birthdate. She entered the information on her computer, and before I knew it, the process was done, which I was glad because I was in a hurry. A couple of days later, I wanted to upgrade my membership from classic to plus. I went online to upgrade and found the following 1) The associate misspelled the name I've given her 2) She didn't put the correct birthdate 3) The offer was good for a couple of weeks! Negative experience: I went to aaa auto club at La mesa branch.for renew registration. for my friend. he was sick and ready for surgery. I do a favor to my friend . I took his vehicle for smog. and regrister for him.because tag expired. the younger guy . refused an services. he asked my friend phone number. he said my friend not aaa membership no services and he said I should go to DMV. I am with aaa insurance and membership for 8 years. I don't think I am going to renewal aaa insurance and memberships anymore. Fantastic experience: Friendly service! Membership has many benefits including travel agents, maps for trips, multiple insurance options, and DMV services. The DMV services they offer are so convenient and almost solely worth the membership fee! I have saved so much time taking care of my DMV needs through them instead of waiting at a local DMV. The office is located on Fletcher Parkway at a light. There is plenty of parking available including handicap spaces.

Negative experience: 8:15am I called AAA for tow truck for my disabled car in city of LA Mesa, San Diego. Operator said within one hour. 9:15am I called back. They wouldn't take my call. I was on hold for one hour, and still AAA wouldn't take my call. Only recording said the tow truck at 10:20am. 10:25am I called AAA and they wouldn't take my call. 10:30am I logged in AAA app, it shows 12:20 PM pickup. I had to cancel it at this time. Fantastic experience: Usually, obtaining a new registration, or getting an auto insurance policy is a HUGE hassle. Long lines at the DMV, often times rude DMV employees do nothing but add to the frustration. The AAA office in La Mesa is much different. The employees are all knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. They really seem to know what they're doing. As hectic as it can often be renewing a vehicle registration, obtaining or updating a life or auto insurance policy, AAA in La Mesa makes it that much easier. I would highly recommend this location!

When I came out of the store I saw the crack in my windshield. i have full coverage for my car, my motorcycle, roadside assistance, motorcycle roadside assistance and renters insurance. So I call AAA to see what they can do for me. they want a $500.00 deductible. This is the second time that AAA did nothing for me. Why am I paying them all this money when they CAN'T help me? I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, yet AGAIN. TIME TO FIND ANOTHER INSURANCE COMPANY. I will call AIS and see what they can do for me. I did find a place that charged me $235.00. Positive experience: Having 2 lines was confusing people. There was actually a shouting match with people inside and outside. Inside was very different. My seat was 6 feet away from the person helping me making it difficult to hear through the plastic partition. The 2 people next to me had their chairs right up to the partition and no issue hearing. It's a Corvette and to try to meet the driving pattern is very unsafe in my opinion. Anyway, the assistant at AAA was terrifically helpful and work to save me some money and get the best fee possible for the conditions we were facing. Truly grateful for their service.
