Fantastic experience: Everyone there is really helpful and friendly.
Negative experience: This company has definitely gone down in all facets over the past 12 years, and this office in particular likes to play shrewd smoke and mirrors games. About 13 years ago we replaced our slab plumbing and put the pipes above ground. Within five or six years, they sent us an overinflated premium and when I called to ask about it, I was told that there had been a lot of claims for slab leaks that year in my zip code (zip code profiling at its best). I then told him that we replaced our pipes and always paid out of pocket for slab leaks and asked if we could get a discount for our pipe replacement. He said yes and to go find the receipt. When we turned our receipt over to the underwriters there, they then said that our receipt was not acceptable. Another case of cat and mouse and going down the proverbial rabbit hole. After that, I went to this office and spoke with an older gentleman agent about my situation, who stated that it was not true about slab leak claims in my zip code (another lie since my zip code has houses all on slab) and that they do not give discounts for repiping. He then said that they can give a discount for a new roof. Just this past October, I called about an insurance policy renewal for another home I have to manage, and the person on the phone told me that I can get a discount for a new composition roof, which had just been completed in my own home, but the discount would be lower for composition and higher for tile. I just received my home insurance renewal with a 29 percent increase in the premium, with no history of filing a claim with AAA in the over 20 years I have been with them. I went down to this location to inquire about this and now I have been told that they will give me no discount for my brand new roof that cost $46,000 to replace. This is just another example of a scam that this company is pulling, and hopefully the insurance commissioner will see to it that auto club and the rest who are playing these mind games with customers get the stiff punishment they deserve!

Negative experience: Absolute trash of a company. Zero starts if I could. Never showed up, then gave me attitude and hung up on me for asking when they would get there. You've been warned.

Please review every paper before getting involved with this company and this branch in particular, and with the customer service of this company that leaves customers for hours without responding to them. Fantastic experience: Thank the lord I went to this place instead of the DMV! Heather was the one assisting me throughout the whole out of state title transfer and she was so patient and informative! Her colleague Jordan was super nice as well! It made my whole experience so much better! Heather was so sweet and she made me feel right at home. I hope I go to her for any future auto stuff. She is truly the best!
Fantastic experience: Went there to renew our 3 car registrations. The staff were awesome and took great care of us. Seriously didn’t expect things to go so smooth. I messed up filling out the forms for the DMV. They helped me fill it out correctly, no problem. Left very happy with the servise. Honestly, there were some really grumpy customers there and there was a line with about a 30 minute wait. But the staff were awesome. I was very impressed. I would just avoid late afternoon when they are the busiest.

Negative experience: We went there to pay our car tags. The person who took our information. Said you don’t take ATM we have to use cash, check, or credit card or they will charge us a fee. First of all our ATM card has a Visa logo, so it could be used as a credit card. I spoof arguing with the person. We went and got cash. When we got back they announced that, their computer’s went down. So not only were we put out of our way th get cash, we hit back and stil couldn’t get out transaction done!!! Aside from that the person checking us in.asked in a kind of accusatory tone said. “Do you.have your smog done.!” I have been a member since 1984. And I gas e never been more disappointed in AAA in my life!!
Fantastic experience: Ashley at the reception was able to answer my dmv registration questions and fees owed. Joshua Lee my agent also helped me with my questions on rental coverages in my policy. Great experience last 47 years.

Negative experience: AAA is A joke my catalytic converter was stolen off my car in downtown LA I called for a tow at 3:15 AM I did not get picked up till 6:30 AM downtown LA and on top of that I was charged extra fee for the tow that I did not have they would not waive it. The service supervisors that I spoke to were both in different states neither one of them are from here I am so confused with the services now I’ve been a AAA member for over 25 years this is completely unacceptable.I became irate because I’m tired of being lied to by this company enough is enough
Negative experience: I could give them more but I won’t because a big reason to have AAA is battery service. But I found out today that batteries you purchase through them is only covered if there is no power left in the battery. So if there is a leak (like I have) or it catches fire, erodes or anything other then dies, it isn’t covered with their warranty. The customer service for getting help with the battery is horrible and not worth the headache. I will never buy another battery from them and I warn you if you need a battery to try someplace else. I now had acid around the battery that has burned through the metal and dripping all over my driveway. And the spots are right under where the battery is. My mechanic checked everything and the engine was fine. He did say the battery was leaking. So now I’m frustrated and AAA will not help.

Negative experience: I've been here before and it was fairly easy. However, my husband went here and Kiesha Brown (gave us a card) added his vehicle to my policy, after he only requested a quote. I called to speak with a manager and she answered and said "Awww, no, you can call in the morning, they are not here". I then called customer care and asked who could make changes to my policy? They said only the policy holder (me). My husband wanted to get a few quotes first, and we are happy to switch all to AAA, but it will not be done by Kiesha.

Oooo yes sorry but yes I definitely would recommend doing all over again especially with my wife she tried making me go to the DMV !! They definaly couldn't any harder than my first wife ... Fantastic experience: I love their consistently excellent service. We went there to transfer a car title for someone who had recently passed away. Due to a mandated waiting period we could not complete the transaction but regardless, the person who us set us up so after the waiting period, we take the paperwork and everything will be done.

They also take credit/debit cards now. If you drive, you should have an AAA membership regardless because it's the best service for roadside assistance.

Positive experience: Unfortunately, I arrived an hour before closing time and had to fix my expired membership before getting done what I had gone there to do in the first place. That was a bit of a bureaucratic annoyance with three different waiting lines to finish. I kind of got lost in the shuffle to get my purpose in going resolved and actually didn't get helped until after closing time. But all of the tellers were pleasant enough and professional and I did get help even though it was after closing.

And when I called to the office, the guy who was on the phone, literally hung up on me when I asked "Hey I have a question regarding my policy". It was so rude and I was shocked! Poorest customer service that I've ever had!!!

Negative experience: I've been here about 4-5 times and every time they can't help me. And my questions are simple like looking for a DMV driving study booklet. I have several more one was a title change another was registration they aways tell me to go to DMV.

Negative experience: Apparently COVID is transmitted over the phone lines now. AAA is no longer using real people to answer questions. Instead they use a "virtual assistant" with extremely limited resources to answer questions that don't apply to you. After going through multiple prompts and reroutes, I asked for customer service several times just to be told that due to COVID, a real person is not able to speak with me. Maybe I should've put on my mask before calling. So long AAA. It's been..........,disappointing.

Negative experience: It is great Insurance, but the employees could use lots of training, in all areas. At the location in Jurupa Valley on Limonite Ave, The female who assisted us needs to learn some courtesy in public relations. She was rude and snooty. At the Huntington Beach location they need to listen to the consumers request. And get it right. I asked for full coverage 3 times on my Dodge 2500 mega cab diesel, and still 9 months later found out I never had full coverage. When I cancelled, after so many more screw ups, because of switching companies (And for years in the past I was with AAA without a problem in Newhall, Ca)they still billed me and turned it into collection. Needless to say I will never be insuring my vehicles with them. There is so much more to my issues with them, but need I go on. I tried to get things resolved but was ignored after being told by another employee I would be called by two managers because things didn't sound right. I never received a call. And when I called that employee back, he said he was on another call and would call me back. That never happened. I never received any call. Sadly, a good Insurance company being tarnished by ignorantly rude deceitful employees. I'm a talker and I share my experience with many, as many as I can. Including strangers if I get the chance. Like I said, so much more had taken place. I have 2 SUV's, a Truck, a Travel Trailer, Dirt Bike, and 2 Harley Davidson bikes to Insure. Plus Home owners and now I have added Pet Insurance. Their loss. Yes, the Insurance is great, but the employees and so many of them really do harm to the Company. So disappointed and very unhappy. I only gave 2 stars because it is great Insurance coverage.
