Tornado Bus Company Atlanta

Negative experience: The worst bus company made us transfer 3 times and we still didn't even arrive in Monterrey. The bus they changed us to in Nuevo Laredo was in terrible condition, it smelled like Moo and dampness, the seats were super dirty, it was literally like a minivan, and there were cockroaches!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: My parents are elderly. They traveled from Mexico to the United States, and the staff in Houston assisted them with mobile communication by activating their Wi-Fi. Upon arriving at their destination in Florida, the driver called to inform them that they arrived before the scheduled time, and the driver was kind enough to wait 5 minutes until I arrived to pick them up, even though they were inside an establishment. Excellent service! Trip from Rioverde SLP to Florida on December 4, 2024.

Positive experience: First time in a long time traveling with them, and they are still very good alternative to flying. And cheaper, might I add. The seat could be more comfortable that is the only thing. Then again, you are sitting for a long time. You do have plenty of breaks to stop and stretch your legs. All in all, it was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: The staff in Atlanta is very friendly; if you have a question, they help you. But in Houston, not so much—the drivers I encountered were very arrogant. It was a very bad experience, but in Atlanta, the service was excellent.

Positive experience: A very cost effective method for traveling, not just nationwide but internationally as well. These busses run from Canada to South America and they do so while providing the utmost comfort and luxury on their top of the line double deckers and smaller shuttles for more local services.

Negative experience: The girl who serves in Doranville, GA makes mistakes with the destinations and one has to pay for her errors, and the worst part is that she doesn't accept it. I paid an extra $55 for her lack of attention in selling a ticket. I bought my ticket with 3 other companions; we all paid the same amount, and in the end, she wrote my destination wrong, and I had to give her an extra $55. Bad service on her part.

Fantastic experience: I purchased at bus ticket in North Carolina and my destination was Atlanta, G.A. the ride was exceptional. The temperature was good, and all the passengers slept. We arrived on schedule and got to watch movies otw. I would definitely ride this bus again! No wifi was available Available. But still thumbs up.

Positive experience: The trucks are not very comfortable... and sometimes the place where you charge your phones doesn't work.

Negative experience: The service is very bad. I had a departure at a certain time and when I arrived and approached the window, I was told that the departure was 3 hours later. But this is already the second time I have had to wait up to 10 hours. It's not fair; you should notify if there are delays in the buses.

Negative experience: My 80 year old parents purchased two tickets directly to their destination. The bus driver took my parents to the wrong city and told them to get off. The same bus driver said the new tickets will be free to their destination. They were sitting and waiting for the next bus until the following day. So, the next day came and the new driver took my parents to their destination for another fee. By this time mom and dad were feeling ill, vomiting, and had some other flu-like symptoms. Tornado's new bus driver told my parents to buy more bus tickets, and my parents told him, that Tornado's first bus driver had made the mistake. The new driver said he doesn't know anything about the first bus driver's negligence.

Negative experience: NEVER AGAIN AM I USING THIS COMPANY EVEN IF ITS THE ONLY BUS COMPANY, First off me and my family bought tickets to Atlanta to Querétaro and it took an hour for everyone to board when I was in Atlanta and then whenever we would stop at gas stations they would take many hours waiting another thing is that my mom and younger brother got seat number 45 and 46 but there wasn’t a seat 45 and 46 on the bus..? Instead seat 45 and 46 were on the floor So when more people came on board the bus they had to sit somewhere else on the bus since seat 45 and 46 were on the floor. Once we made it to a bus terminal where all the buses were the bus driver didn’t tell anyone sitting in the back of the bus “hey we are gonna wash the bus!” Instead the people who were sitting in the front of the bus only heard what the bus driver said, so me and my family had to ask someone who was kinda sitting close the front to tell us what the bus driver said. Last thing, me and my family are having to use this company again to go back home in atlanta because my dad couldn’t take us home by car since he brought people from somewhere to mexico and he’s gonna have to take them back to wherever they came from. When my dad bought the tickets I realized that my younger brother was sitting by himself (he’s only in first grade) it was either me or my other younger brother sat by himself, which me and my other younger brother didn’t want to sit by ourselves since one obviously we don’t know if we are gonna be sitting next to a kid or a elder, and two the employees who we bought the tickets from simply told us to talk to the other people on the bus and find a solution. Ok last thing I wish there was more space on the bus like what happens if I accidentally knock someones elbow into my elbow? Now me and my family were supposed to leave at 5:50 but nope the bus took so long that people thought the bus was gonna come tomorrow and never did the employees advise us that maybe the bus would be late. When the bus arrived someone was already sitting in my assigned seat which was seat 26 and also another person a daughter and mother was sitting in my moms assigned seat which was seat 27 and a person who was sitting in front of the mother and daughter simply told us to sit in the back even if more people might possibly come, and guess what? The mother and daughter pair supposedly bought four tickets and the 2 people didn’t show up. And the person who was sitting in seat 26 was someone’s niece and was in the bathroom. Basically this has been a whole mess with this company to the point my mom and the mother and daughter pair and another person who was the aunt to the niece were arguing with the bus driver, guess what the bus driver did? Nothing much only simply telling me and my younger brother (second one not the first grade one) were old enough to sit by ourselves and that nothing will happen on the bus. Overall this bus experience was terrible and I hope the bus driver who took me and my family to Atlanta to Querétaro and the bus driver who is now taking me and my family back to Atlanta step on legos and slowly go bald (by the way the bus driver who is taking me and my family back to Atlanta is already balding) Anyways to the people who took the time to read my review, thank you I know it’s a lot to read but in the end I could have possibly saved people from buying from this company :)

Negative experience: I won't travel with them again, I already told my relatives who are coming back from Mexico in January not to travel with them and there are quite a few people. Due to serious, really serious health issues, I can't travel neither this December nor January and February. I bought 2 tickets, for my son and for myself, the doctor prohibited me from traveling, I need to seek treatment. I explained to Tornado what happened and they didn't refund me the 560 dollars. They didn't care at all. If Delta Airlines is a much better company that charges for cancellations but returns part of the money, these inept ones don't. Well, keep it. GOD TAKES CARE OF ABUSIVE AND UNJUST PEOPLE.

As the bus journeyed westward, each mile carried us closer to dreams realized and new horizons embraced.

Fantastic experience: The most awesome bus company Atlanta from start to finish. They only stop and say place is usually owned by the company. And when they do stop the food is delicious very clean bus stations bathroom clean. Drivers are friendly and the people get on the bus and it's all agreed. Everybody's quiet for the ride I love it. I will never take any other bus.I went from Atlanta to Lapiedad they take care of their passengers. Update June 10 2024.I don't know why this bus is rated 3.5 I am on the way to Lapiedad again and the service is awesome I caught the bus in Gainesville Ga .We stopped in Doraville exceptional service the bus station was clean well staffed. Our Driver was Victor. He was amazing and took good care of us to Houston. Bus was exceptionally clean and comfortable.Going on to Lapiedad Michoacan Mx.

Fantastic experience: I recently traveled with this company, it’s okay, they leave at the time they say, the bus is clean, and I traveled to Mexico without any problems, although the journey was long. They also have charging ports for your phone on the bus. It’s also cheaper than flying, almost half the price.

Negative experience: The parking lot is very dirty, there is no organization with the luggage, and they almost want the payment to be mandatory in cash.

Now they have them at a station waiting 4 hours. After taking FOUR STOPS and now they won’t get here until tomorrow afternoon. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !! I will be contacting someone about some type of refund! This is unexceptionable!! How did ONE stop become FOUR And not they have to wait at the station for OVER 4 HOURS with no explications . Please save you’re money. They are TRASH

Negative experience: Worst service for traveling to Mexico. My parents bought tickets for the trip and at the last moment he couldn't travel and wanted to see if they could change his ticket to my sister's name but they didn't want to. It wouldn't have cost them anything to do that but they preferred to steal his money and my dad had to look for another bus line with much better service and much cheaper. Be careful with these rats that just want to make money by robbing people and reselling the seat.

Negative experience: We got stuck at a gas station, two patrol cars and a tow truck arrived, they made us get off the bus to free the truck and we lost 2 hours of travel, on top of that, we were already delayed. I was supposed to arrive at my destination at 1 PM, it's 4 PM and I still have one hour and 40 minutes left to go, not to mention the people who are still up to 12 hours away. It was an office mistake to let a person with a different destination on the bus. The driver diverted his route and this happened.

Negative experience: My father in law bought a ticket from Texarkana to Tennessee. He has to travel urgently because he has an immigration appointment, the bus was scheduled to pass by the restaurant at 10:40, he arrived at 10;15 waited until 11:40 and the bus never arrived. Now we are calling to the office trying to know if he can travel today, nobody answer the calls. I have 40 minutes waiting for an agent answer my call, my husband Called a lot of times in the morning, and the same thing happened to him. We are worried about his appointment and very disappointed with this company as well. I hope someone from this company read this.

Positive experience: Everything is fine. People need to remember that they do not come alone and to have common courtesy towards others. 'Drivers announce' headphones for phones while listening to the chatter of people for over 15 minutes on the phone, showing no respect on the plane. It caught my attention immediately; we should respect one another.
