Fantastic experience: Fast check in. Nice big room. Tea and coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Easy to find off Interstate 84 and near the airport. Free hot breakfast. Rooms are clean, modern, and reasonably priced

Negative experience: Very disappointed in this hotel. Carpet in room had many stains and was very dirty. Bathroom floor was also very dirty. I had to cover the chair in the room with a bath towel to sit on it. Lots of food grown into chair. Yikes may want to avoid. Hot breakfast wasn't too bad. Also had a footprint on the ceiling ? Many better choices in Boise for same price. I travel all over West coast and stay at many hotels and this is one of the dirtiest rooms I have seen.

Fantastic experience: Truly a gem! Got a room with 3 beds and it was perfect for my family! I honestly slept like a baby - the beds were so comfortable I have truly never slept better in a hotel than I did there. The breakfast was super good, loved the biscuits and gravy! Will stay again if I'm in town. Excellent price for everything.

Negative experience: Drove 8 hours from Oregon where the website says it allows Pets allowed 2. Go into the lobby and it says NO CATS We have a cat!! The lady at the front said “we will be cancelling your reservation” That’s all! Then when we said “this should be on your website” The lady at the front said “I’ll let the GM know” Ridiculous! Negative experience: i am not sure why this place is so highly rated, it was honestly disgusting. without a doubt the dirtiest hotel ive had the displeasure of staying in. floor covered in huge stains and cigarette burns (the hotel claims to be nonsmoking?), dirty bed with stains on the blanket and pillowcase and hairs in the bed, recliner was so dirty that it was discolored, and the tub was so disgusting i couldnt use it, covered in black stains and lots of hairs. why does this place have 4 stars?? the people working there were nice but seriously the room (ground floor room 29) was so, so disgusting. wish i hadnt paid for such a nasty place, i probably would have been better off at the motel 6 next door.

Positive experience: The smell in this hotel is not “bad” but, if you are sensitive to smells, is very overly deodorized. It gave me a headache. The freezer in the mini fridge is broken, so, no refreezing my ice packs. Burned out bulb in the one lamp and no lamp by the bed. Also, you have to park far from your room. Honestly, it’s not bad for the money.

Fantastic experience: This hotel was perfect for what me and my family needed. I have a newborn baby and although I didn’t use it, they have complementary baby beds that was offered. There was off so complementary hot and cold breakfast available every morning. Amber cleaned my room and she was so awesome. The front desk clerk, Lisa is the best if you go tell her I said Hello make sure you ask for her.

Negative experience: Price is terrible, tried to get government price and it was 60 bucks above online. We firefighters were just trying to get a goodnight sleep after 21 days on the line close to airport. Side doors not even working effecting fire code for sure. Carpet was disgusting and hot water barely got hot in room 127 making it barely able to stay. Will not be back!

Fantastic experience: My daughter’s going to BSU so we’ve been back and forth to Boise numerous times. This is the absolute best value for your dollar!! Cute lil pool outside, not a fancy breakfast but really good (we frequent holiday inns and embassy suites, you basically get the same breakfast without the glam) small quaint rooms but very clean. 5 star review because we drive from Portland and got in around 1030/11 and they let us check in since they had a room ready. We often check in early (noon-2) but never 10/11 something. That was really nice. We will definitely be back and may have found our new Boise place to stay when visiting the daughter

Negative experience: Staff at the desk especially Nathan were wonderful. The cause for my low rating is the price per night & the lack of quality checking rooms after cleaning crew marks them ready. Bathroom tub was clogged, looked like it had never been cleaned and there was a rancid vomit smell in the bathroom the minute I walked in. No other rooms were available so front desk staff did what they could but for what they’re charging a night the room shouldn’t remind me of a old school nasty truck station shower room First time here & probably my last time based on this first experience. Again none of this is directed at the front desk staff they did all they could no doubt. Owner needs to address this with his cleaning crew or charge appropriate pricing for this ghetto experience

Fantastic experience: This place was so nice for my stay! I came into town to visit family and from the front desk service, to the complimentary breakfast, and super clean rooms, everything was perfect! Definitely a great stay!! Shoutout to the front desk, Lisa, she was so sweet and helpful. She provided me with recommendations on places to eat, visit, and shopping while in Boise. She was so helpful, warm, and welcoming. They have complimentary coffee all day as well. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you always have everything you need to additional towels, bedding, soaps, anything. Positive experience: Easy check-in, friendly staff. I could hear the freeway, but didn't hear the planes inside the room. Pool was fun for the kids and chairs, tables, lounges, umbrellas are available. Breakfast ends early 6-9am, but the selection was nice with waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits (depends on day). Other quick options are also available. Room had enough blankets/pillows/towels and was comfortable.

But I have only done it in case there has been a tragity or something that has caused all the staff to either be rude or sad.most seemed very melancholy. Negative experience: We liked the rooms and the location but we were left in the snow by the shuttle at the airport at 12:30 at night. We were told that they would come back and we waited for 45 minutes in the freezing cold and they never showed up. When we called again, all we were told was "sorry they must have went home early, we can't help you." We paid for the long term parking and were told that they would be there for us, what a joke. I will never recommend this place for leaving my handicapped father and I in the snow.

Fantastic experience: They are excellent for the price point. I stay here frequently for work, everything is kept up. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I feel safe. Negative experience: The website is deceptive, bordering on false. My son and i stayed here solely because because we had an early morning flight for a weekend trip. The website mentions several times that there is complimentary parking, including several long-term spaces for traveling guests, and a free airport shuttle (they use Lyft.) Apparently, the complimentary parking isn't true. When we got to the hotel late the night before our flight, the clerk informed us that we would be charged for long term parking. When I told him what the website said, he offered to cancel our room if we wanted to go to another hotel. When we returned from our trip, we called the hotel for a Lyft back to the hotel and our car. We waited and waited. We called the hotel again. Again, nothing. Eventually, my son and I walked in below freezing temps back to the hotel to get our car. Fortunately, the hotel is relatively close to the airport, and we are young enough and fit enough to do that. The hotel itself is appropriately rated as 2 star. It's nothing special and probably over priced. If your looking for a Boise hotel near the airport, there are probably other better options with real free parking and airport shuttles. Edit: Also, note that the hotel did not respond to my review until 3 MONTHS after I left it! Just another sign of poor management.

The rooms (we stayed 2 separate nights) were clean and well equipped, with outlets by the bed, fridge, well proportioned and thought-out rooms, with a good layout and sink outside of the bathroom. The hotel is minutes away from the airport and i-84. The rooms were quiet and affordable. The breakfast was much better than expected for a breakfast-included-rate and there is an outdoor pool.

Negative experience: Checked in very late this past Thursday, checked out early Sunday morning. We were in town for a tattoo convention so each day we got back to the room VERY late, night person had no idea what I was even talking about when I asked for a follow up. Each day I informed the front desk that the AC unit in our room was EXTREMELY loud and wasn't blowing cold and needed to be looked at, got no sleep. Friday morning, was informed someone would go look at it, received no follow up. Said something again Saturday morning after another night of no sleep, was told there are no maintenance people working on the weekends and they would call someone. Received no follow up. Said something again on Sunday morning at check out after a 3rd night of no sleep from the noise and the heat of the AC not working, was informed the AC condenser was going out and there was nothing they could do. I asked why we were not informed or moved to a different room. Was told by Christy at the front desk "I have no idea." Also informed them that the tub in our room did not drain and we had to shut the water off in between washing our hair/bodies to make sure the water didn't flood the room so we weren't able to properly take a full shower and feel clean. Main reasons people get a hotel room are to get sleep and to shower, neither of which we were able to do during our stay and no accommodations were made, we were simple told I don't know. Very unprofessional. At check out I requested a refund for at least 1 night of our stay, I was told by Christy "You will have to speak with a manager" I have called a couple times, and have been told each time that the manager is not available and now my calls are not going through leaving me to believe they have blocked my number. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

Positive experience: Service was excellent. My only complaint is that our room only had 3 towels and 3 pillows per bed. We booked a room for 2 adults/2 kids. After using the hand towel in the shower I realized there were men's facial hairs weaved into it. Yuck.

Negative experience: Checked in about midnight and there was globs of hair everywhere. I asked for them to vacuum all they did is pick up the big globs of hair. When I pulled the blankets back there was hair and the pillows smelled. I was tired and I'm disabled I just wanted to sleep and get out of there. I showed the front desk pictures of my room the next morning they just said sorry they are short staffed. I've been calling for 3 weeks and no call back.

Negative experience: Had high expectations going in as the front desk people were super friendly and nice, but when we got to our room that all went away pretty quickly, the blanket had stains on it, the fridge in our room smelled, and to top it off the ac unit in our room only worked half of the night.... When we woke up in the morning we tried showering and brushing our teeth and the water was off... when we asked the front desk just for a partial refund, they refused and made us feel bad for even asking for one, when our water and other things we paid for didn't even work.... Not impressed.

Positive experience: Definitely a decent place. Basic, but affordable. The bed was comfortable and place was quiet. The only downside was the room smelled a bit like old cigarette smoke, and the shower head jetted water intensely in every direction and wasn’t adjustable. Needs replacement badly. But overall, not a bad place if you’re on a budget.

Positive experience: The room was very clean and comfortable. I couldn't hear any highway noise over the fan and TV. The bed and pillows were soft which I liked. Breakfast was simple but would have been satisfactory had we ate there. We chose to go out for breakfast before we ever came. Staff was very pleasant and helpful during check-in and checkout. It was also in a good location with quick access to anything. A working dryer would have been nice and a clean open pool.

Negative experience: Not the greatest experience. We arrived after dinner and the gal at the front desk didn't even know we were there because she was engrossed on her phone. When we got up to the room, my door was ajar. My husband checked the room and tried calling down to the front desk to make sure it truly was my room. No answer. I was stating by myself so my safety was important to my husband. I asked for an early morning wake up call. It did not happen. When I went downstairs to the front desk to let them know, the new guy behind the desk was very helpful. He checked to make sure the shuttle ride I requested was happening. He asked if I received a voucher. I had not. So basically I would have had to pay for the shuttle if he hadn't ask. Overall in the room, the bed was not comfy and the water was not very hot.

Fantastic experience: Could not be happier, I just landed in BOI on Christmas Day and called for s shuttle...Melissa at the front desk was so amazing, she actually send her husband to come pick me up as the normal shuttle was not available, Then I wanted to purchase the banana and apple I saw at the reception as I didn't have any dinner, and Mellisa just told me to help myself and simply take it with some coffee or tea...I was just so touched by such kindness...anyway...Thank you so much you made my Xmas after long day of traveling...rooms are nice and clean...all I needed, thank you thank you

Negative experience: I checked in last week to room 201. Two nights ago. 730pmish The wall unit for ac/heat sucks. I was up and down all night messing with that thing. No matter what I set it in (69,72,) it was either freezing or too hot. I had to open the window —and this is November— because the room was too hot and the ac wouldn’t turn on. Then randomly in the middle of the night, it would blast cold air and damn near freeze us out of our room. One little bottle of shampoo and conditioner is t enough for a two bed room. You guys place two beds in there, so assume there is minimum two people sleeping in there (I brought four). They only give you one bottle of each. So I called the front desk, no one answered, so I went downstairs…. No bell, nobody at the desk. I then proceed to look out the side door and see the two women workers smoking. Thinking they saw me, I stood there for a second. Guess they didn’t. So I reached to open the door myself and then she saw me. She proceeded to open the door and then tell me “thanks for interrupting my smoke break” Unbelievably rude.

Fantastic experience: I like the front desk staff, she is very nice and accommodating. The lady that works in the kitchen in the morning is really nice too. She lend her help and making sure that everybody gets food in the morning. It is not a fancy hotel like marriot but boy the cleanliness in our room is very welcoming, a nice comfortable bed, soft pillows, shower is great and a nice hot meal breakfast in the morning makes a biiiggggg difference from a long travel. Me and my husband were able to rest and replenish and ready for a road trip in the morning! Thank you so much! We will come back again next time!

Negative experience: Never staying at an America Inn again. Front desk person should not be allowed around customers, she’d probably be better suited working in the laundry where she wouldn’t have to interact with others. The room had carpet that was so filthy that we had to put our sandals on just to go to the bathroom. The bathtub took 15 minutes to drain. Guessing the housekeepers never noticed that.

Fantastic experience: For the money you can't beat it. Great service. Clean room. Huge fridge and freezer. Better-than-expected breakfast. A bunch of electrical outlets by the bed. Simple location yet quiet enough. Did I mention the friendly staff? The shower head is extra-high, and plenty of closet rod. At this price probably the best you'll ever get.

Negative experience: The pool was green and filthy, the TV was super finicky and kept flashing. There are no gym facilities, the rooms are more cramped than most. The only saving grace is the breakfast is decent as well as the beds, neither is anything particularly nice though.

Negative experience: Room was dirty. Stained carpet, dust caked all over, toilet seat was broken. The beds were super uncomfortable. Only reason we stayed after seeing room is we were ridiculously tired otherwise would have left. Breakfast was meh, bagged omelets and bagged bagel sandwiches, with off brand yogurt. Some cereal choices are your best bet. Don't believe it when it says newly renovated! Also sketchy elevator, def thought we would get stuck in it.

Negative experience: Bedbugs!!! Bedbug bites!!! When I complained they accused me of having a dog which I did not. They offered me another room which I accepted because it was 4:00am. But honestly, if bedbugs are in one room they're in others. I requested a refund (which was not honored) .They compensated me for a night, but I was there for 5 nights. Didn't discover the bugs until day 5. Disgusting!

Positive experience: For less than $100, surprisingly Inn America was very good. Clean rooms and convenient location right off 84. They let me check in early. I was a little skeptical the next morning when I saw that the cheese omelets and bagel breakfast sandwiches were pre-made and kept in plastic bags. But after a 2 min microwave they tasted very good. Coffee was good. Pool area was clean. I would recommend this hotel for budget purposes.

Negative experience: First room they gave us smelled like dog urine. They gave us a new room. Walls were paper thin so we could hear our neighbors. Toilet was dirty and the tub had a lot of hair from the previous person in it, so we had to ask for cleaner and scrub out our own tub so we could use it. Carpet had big stains all over and when we went to breakfast they were out of knives and spoons. We had to eat yogurt with a fork and there was no knives to cut the waffles with. The staff said they had ran out the day before. Why not authorize a trip to Walmart to get some? The only plus side was the staff was super friendly. It made me feel bad for them.

Fantastic experience: Excellent value at this place. Free continental breakfast with a waffle maker. Rooms were nice and cool (adjustable AC) and TV with directv was nice. Mini fridge and microwave were super convenient. Good location. Pool looked well-maintained. Staff was extremely nice! Was the perfect place to crash for the last leg of our road trip.

Negative experience: I’m writing this while waiting in a restaurant for my room to be ready…. We knew I’d be sleeping early and leaving early so we booked this hotel based on the 3pm check in. I attempted to check in at 5:40pm and was told it would be “At least an hour before a room was ready. I explained that I really needed to sleep after having driven 12+ hours and that if they couldn’t accommodate the early check in, we should have been notified or at least they should give a discount…? The woman at the counter was condescending in her tone “there’s not a room available..so “ Then why are you booking rooms and advertising 3pm check in?? She was not helpful in any way. She acted and looked as if she didn’t know how to interact very well with CUSTOMERS. I will never stay here again. Terrible customer service! Update** after our hour wait we went back to the hotel and they “couldn’t find” my reservation… even though I had a confirmation number and receipt after 20min of that I ended up purchasing another room… only to walk in and find that the bed was broken (headboard was a foot lower than the footboard) and it had a large yellow stain on the top of the comforter they ended up giving me the “suite” and that was ok. But all around not a good time

Negative experience: Our online reservation (confirmed via email, with confirmation number/pricing printed and in hand) was somehow lost. Front desk had no record of the reservation in their computer (made directly on the Inn America- Boise website). Dirty rooms, limited breakfast offerings (cereal, stale pastries, stale bagels...) Bedding in first room was stained. Asked for new bedding down at the front desk. Front desk person said she was the only one working and was too busy to help with bedding- she would simply "upgrade" to a different room. Upgraded room had blood stains on one of the beds, a dirty towel (with pink streaks) was hanging on the hook on backside of bathroom door, and the bathroom sink faucet was dirty/spotted- not clean at all. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone concerned about a measure of cleanliness.

Fantastic experience: Had reservation for Thursday evening to catch an early flight out of Boise on Friday. We checked in late and expressed we would be leaving before breakfast. Brandon was VERY accommodating and sent us to our room with some breakfast items. He made sure we were taken care of. Upon returning on Sunday late evening we stayed another night and was greeted by sweet young gal who also accommodated us way past hours. The next morning we went to grab some breakfast and it was over. Brandon was at the front counter. Once again, he was very accommodating and made us all feel at home. Thank you both for making us feel at home. Your customer service was wonderful. We will be back.

Fantastic experience: Great place to stay! Even though it is located near the airport, we did not hear any planes above. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and the two double beds were comfortable. We stayed Saturday through Sunday. The breakfast was nicely presented and there were many options. I will definitely stay here again.

Positive experience: It's a nice little hotel in Boise. The room was clean, the bathroom sink was outside the bathroom which we found a little strange, and we loved the big California King bed. The pillows are mediocre and the mattress doesn't feel as thick as other hotels, but for one night it did just fine. They do offer a small breakfast but nothing like a buffet, and they have an outdoor pool and hot tub. I feel it is a little overpriced for their rooms, but other hotels in the area were even more.

Negative experience: The Inn America says it's "pet friendly" but doesn't allow cats. It was loud all night with people yelling in the hallways and in their rooms. The lights from the outside of the hotel were so bright that our room was hardly dark even with the curtains drawn. I will say, it was clean and easy to access from the highway.

Negative experience: We have two homes quite a distance from each other. We travel with our cat between these homes. Since finding that “Pet friendly” hotels only mean dogs, we always call a hotel directly to confirm they take cats. This is exactly what we did with Inn America in Boise when we made our reservation. So we show up after driving for 10 hours only to be told, “We don’t take cats!” They pointed us to Motel 6 next door. We were too tired to try to find other accommodations that time of night. I know many people won’t be affected by this review but Inn America really let us down.

Positive experience: A little over priced. The rooms smelled bad. Also the general manager was very rude. We checked in late at night, and were offered a 10% discount by the employee working that shift. When were checking out the next morning and were ready to pay, the general manager argued and wasn't willing to honor the discount. She even said that the girl working the previous night was only a week old and didn't know her job. Like seriously. Also she claimed that that room normally goes for $195 and it was already discounted although it was stated in the room that the maximum price for this room is only $149.99. Finally they had to honor what they said that, but this incident should not have happened...

Positive experience: Had a last minute stay here on a road trip after our reserved hotel canceled on us. There was limited availability for the night, but we got a 2 bed room for about $150 (includes tax.) The beds were not very comfortable (felt like the mattress was sagging in the middle), but the room as a whole was decent. The best part of this hotel is the free breakfast. There is a very good selection of breakfast foods served from 6am-9am. Check out time is 11 am. Pros: can get room on short notice nice sized rooms pool free breakfast Cons: beds worn must be 21+ to book room

Negative experience: Clean room...? Inn America does not know what that means. The staff seemed to be bothered every time I would ask questions about the room. One of the things that was worse, was that our room only got serviced 1 day out of the total 5 nights I stayed there. Despite hanging the service signage on the door, rather early in the morning since I would go out around 9:00 am and coming back later in the afternoon like at 7:00 pm and the room was never serviced. I spoke several times with the service staff, asking them if they could please service the room, they would always say that the room I was staying in was not on their service list, but they would check with the front. This went on for like two days, and the room was never serviced, and I never received fresh towels. After, I went to the front desk and asked them to please service the room, It was early in the morning, and they said they would send someone up to service it, but it was a big lie. I got back to the room again in the afternoon, and the room was still not serviced. You would expect at least some decent clean up service and fresh towel, specially if you leave the sign out saying you want the room serviced but that was not the case. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more money in a better hotel/inn that will take care of its guests and provide a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Needless to say, I will not be staying here ever again.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with this hotel. My dad had made reservations with a neighboring hotel and when he arrived at the other around 5pm to check it the room wasn't ready. He walked to Inn America and they were able to accommodate his last minute needs and even helped him cancel his reservation at the other place. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean, overall fantastic place!

Negative experience: We had to make an planned stop in the area so the one good thing I can say is after calling 10 plus hotels this one was the only one with availability. The only room they had was a single so we agreed to make it work for my husband, myself, and our 2 kids. We asked for a cot but they don’t offer those, we asked for extra blankets but they don’t have those either so we got a stack of sheets. We made the room work. Let’s talk about “breakfast” old fruit, off brand yogurt that tastes more like the plastic container it comes in then the actual flavor, frozen sausage patties (I guess your supposed to microwave them yourself, the worst watered down coffee I’ve ever had (guessing since the coffee 24/7 it’s been there awhile) and waffles (which the manager told the staff not to plug in for whatever reason) I’m thinking at $165 for a single bed room I could at least look forward to a gym but nope they don’t have one.

Negative experience: There was food pushed under the bed amd the floors were not vacuumed. There was someone else's coffe and drinks left in the refrigerator. It was a dirty room and were suppose to be in a pandemic.
