Negative experience: Disappointing 11/12 license renewal visit. After my 140P appointment was delayed 30 minutes, I was failed for not being able to complete the color test. Couldn't because of equipment failure of some sort. The clerk insisted the problem was me and that I needed to go to a LensCrafters to figure out my sight problem. Instead, I scheduled another test at the Burlington AAA which was on time and I passed in 5 minutes!!!!!! You need to do better.

Fantastic experience: My mom who is quite elderly was freaking out because she was one day late renewing her drivers license. One the way back from running errands she drcided to stop in AAA to renew. Initially we were in the general AAA customer service line. An AAA employee would periodically ask if anyone was in the office for RMV issues. When we said yes we were politely shown the correct line. It must be said that the RMV traffic (I know, let it go) was extremely light. The customer service rep noticed how nervous my mom was about the whole situation - we came in on a lark with no paperwork or anything prepared in advance. Or paperwork at all for that matter. She calmed my mom down, worked her through the application, explained everything clearly concerning the temporarily license and expectation delivery date of the new license. She took the photo, asked my mom if she approved and took a few more until mom did approve. Overall, it was a great visit. Reviews concerning RMV visits are usually horror shows and i am glad to break that trend. Based on this one visit I would highly recommend AAA for RMV business.

Negative experience: I was at the Saugus office month ago at 9 am , specifically drove to get the passport photo done before my appointment at the post office in Marblehead at 10.30 am Post office denied photo that was made at your office because the color of the back ground wasn't white, but gray! So don’t mention trouble to drive from lynn and back to your location i have to pay out of pocket 15$ to get right service! Negative experience: This branch has given me a horrifying experience. The branch manager Jennifer condones her employee Pammie’s actions . I had notified the branch manager and customer service of Pammie’s disturbed actions yet I have not heard back on “disciplinary” actions that will be taken towards Pammie. During my visit, I had to fill out a hard copy of an application that I had completed online which I had no problem doing so. However, Pammie was hostile towards me when asking me to fill out the application that I have already completed prior to my appointment. Pammie continued to ball up my application and unravel to hand off to Kevin to shred my application. Seeing my horrified reaction she continued to ask if I was having a bad day with a smirk. Jennifer, the branch manager, condones this behavior as she has not returned my calls. I thought my experience at AAA Saugus would’ve been better than going to the RMV however I will not be returning to this office.

Negative experience: I no longer recommend AAA before I loved it today I hate it now , AAA before took a maximum of 40 minutes now it's the second time it takes 3 hours to get to my car the last time I had sunstroke dehydration because it was a very hot day and it took a while 2:30 and today it's taking more than 3 hours this is ridiculous it's time to put more people to work on the tow trucks

Fantastic experience: I HIGHLY recommend Silvana Comeau for any travel planning! I wish I could give her a million stars; her service and follow-through, and pleasant demeanor are so outstanding. She went above and beyond in planning our trip to Aruba this Christmas. She offered several options, shared opinions, and helped us to make a perfect choice! Silvana followed up with us to ensure we did what we had to do (although she did most everything)! I don't know why more people don't take advantage of their AAA membership and book travel with them. Fantastic experience: AAA makes their customers lives so much easier in so many ways. I’ve been a member for over 10 years and I can say I’ve gotten my monies worth and then some. I also been able to help others because their membership allows you road side assistance for any vehicle, not just yours. I recently had to get an International Drivers License and it was the best experience I’ve ever had. I walked in the Saugus, MA branch on a Saturday at about 12:15 PM not knowing what to expect considering that that closed at 1:00 PM Not only did they help me with any questions I had but they also took 2 passport photos and completed my application for the International Drivers License, but wait, I didn’t get to the good part yet. They did everything at NO CHARGE, that’s right FREE. When I asked why it was FREE they said because you are a premier member with AAA and it’s complimentary. Wow, it definitely pays to be a AAA Member and I Highly recommend it! One more thing… Compliments to the entire staff working at this location. They where all so friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful!

Negative experience: I needed a flight to Thailand on 9/6. After a week and 1/2 I called again and talked to Kim from Rhode island and I needed to change the dates to save money. Saugus called me while I was on my way. Very disappointed
Negative experience: Poor passport photo service. How can a photo service center be so inflexible for taking one extra click if the clicks taken were with poor posture and lighting? And how can they not differentiate a clearly pale greenish background instead of a much required standard plain white background?? After this experience, we checked with Peabody AAA service center and they happily helped us with not just better quality photo click, print and cutting in no time but they also did not charge so as to compensate the bad experience we had at Saugus..

Negative experience: Bad experience if I found zero I put 0, nobody pick the phone, not help ful, when I did quote,they gave me higher one payment higher than the expectation, AAA just bright name for nothing even I have membership with AAA, they asked me to pay $5000 once , I asked if I could make monthly payments for the low income families, she said no you have to pay the whole amount , seriously!!!! That's is not fair especially at that time everything went high. Fantastic experience: Had appt for Real ID. Their process was great. First a person reviews all your documents to ensure you have what's needed. Then you go to the person that takes your picture and produces a temporary Real ID. I rec'd the permanent in the mail the following week. Great process and great service...a winning combination!

Fantastic experience: I love this place. If you are a AAA member. It's amazing how quickly you are I'm and out of this place . The staff will always take time to explain things to you if you need it and they ard always friendly. Bonus, with the time saved going here as opposed to waiting hours in line at the RMV, you can aalk across the lot to Applebee's for lunch or dinner afterwards. There is plenty of parking too so there will not be a great deal of time wasted just searching for a place to park.

Negative experience: Why get AAA when you need them , they just don’t help? I had a flat tire that I couldn’t fix by myself and asked help at 5 pm on 24th I’m with a 7 yo kid with me and now is 12:15 am and nothing , no one is here to help , just call once 3 hours ago saying my service is taking more time than normal. I’m 10000% frustrated with this company, this is not humane, it is 56 degrees in Boston my battery died 4 hours ago due emergency lights on , anyway I hope , at least they get my car and tow it back to my house.

AAA needs to give these ladies a raise to make sure they stay. They actually cared & helped me out so much was an absolute breath of fresh air from dealing with regular customer service. Positive experience: Excellent service. If you are a senior citizen or even a high school senior that needs to insure a car this is the place to go. Ask for Heather. This woman is amazing. She did all the complex stuff for me. She gave me information for the DMV that was right on the nose. Hints that I found easy to follow and found me a price that was only for what I needed.

Negative experience: I'm not sure where to leave a review for AAA as a whole, but my family have been members for 14 years and their service has become absolutely abysmal. They likely aren't paying their people enough, resulting in ridiculous wait times. Another clue to this is their new call answering system. Where before you'd get to talk to a real person who knows how to help you, now you need to jump through hoops over the phone and online to wait an hour to maybe get a call. Their premium service is now the only one worth anything... if you actually ever need it enough to justify the premium price. All in all, extremely disappointed and will be rethinking my plans to become a subscriber myself. I will be telling people I know to cancel their subscriptions. If you actually need help, just call a tow truck company first. Don't waste your time and money.

Jackie took in my documents and when I provided my license and AAA card to her, which admittedly I gently tossed onto the counter, given we have to stand back from the customer service counter, she walked away saying "just throw it at me, Jesus Christ", and I overheard her and asked, "did you just swear at me" to which she responded "you threw your documents at me". I have been in customer service myself, and even if you think something bad about the customer you don't SAY it out loud. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. The rest of the staff was great.

Fantastic experience: In and out in less than 15 minutes. Best experience renewing my license. Staff was great from the gentleman at check in to the young lady processing my renewal. Booking my appointment online was easy as well.

Fantastic experience: My license was about to expire. I had my original birth certificate but it wasn't good enough for the rmv so I had to order a new version at city hall and because of covid it was going to take weeks. I didn't know what to do because my new birth certificate wasn't going to come in time and my appointment with the rmv wasn't for another month. Someone suggested the AAA in Saugus MA could help. I doubted it but went anyway. Within 5 min I had a 90 day extension in my hand. The whole office ran around to help me. Because of this experience I went back to get my license when the birth certificate came. I have to say it was a fun experience! They all remembered me and were genuinely excited that I finally got the birth certificate. I just loved the registry lady. What a personality. It was a super great experience! Best part in and out in 15 min. If you are a AAA member go here for anything you can registry related. You will not be disappointed

Fantastic experience: Great visit and I imagine it would be so every time. The staff is helpful, cheerful, quick to help and very accommodating. Don't wait in line for the DMV go to AAA! Simple and easy and very quick. I strongly recommend this office for any and all services they have to offer.

Positive experience: I lost my license somewhere so I had to replace it... went to AAA became a member and walked out with a duplicate license half hour later... the employees are very polite and the service is excellent...( hint) show up early
