Lux2 Transfer

Negative experience: Has not returned my calls since March. I had booked a ride with them when everything was shut down due to Covid I called to get a refund or to possibly to hold my $ for when we are able to cruise again. They have not returned my call. I should have booked thru the cruise line.

Fantastic experience: On time pick up and delivery. Very efficient and easy shuttle to port Canaveral and back.

Positive experience: It was difficult to find the Lux2 representative. Once we found them, it wasn't clear how long it would take for a shuttle to show up. We were then told a time a bus would show up and depart. Once we got on the shuttle, it didn't leave when we were told it would...we had to sit on the bus a 1/2 hour. We were ok, because we had plenty of time until our flight.

Fantastic experience: Used Lux2 twice now for cruises. Convenient service, reasonable price, and very timely. Will use them again for sure!

Positive experience: The ride to the cruise was great. However going back To the airport. We thought we were on a 8am bus. We left the ship early to be on time and then we were made to wait until 830 to leave, which almost made us late for our flight.

Fantastic experience: Both rides (there and back) were smooth and on time. Both drivers (there and back) were pleasant and entertaining. Would recommend Lux2 Transfer to anyone needing travel commute at a reasonable price.

Positive experience: Let me start with the positive on this transportation company. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to Port Canaveral with ample time to board our cruise ship. Bags were handled with care and the driver was very friendly. After the cruise we disembarked and picked up our luggage. We proceeded to a transportation desk outside that was clearly marked LUX2. The lady working the desk was also very friendly and pointed us to a waiting area where we only waited a very short time before the bus arrived. The staff loaded a full bus including a handicapped passenger and all of our bags in a relatively short period of time with no issues. And then this is where my 3 star instead of 5 star rating comes in. We all sat on the bus for another 20 plus minutes apparently waiting for a few more passengers. The company states that it’s first bus leaves around 8am and then one an hour with the last bus leaving at 10am. We were off the ship at 8:30 and missed our flight but were lucky enough to catch another flight about an hour and a half later. If you’re not in much of a rush to get to the airport after your cruise then I would highly recommend LUX2. Plan on 2 hours from the time you depart your cruise ship until the time you arrive at the airport even though the drive itself is no more than an hour. Knowing all this I wouldn’t recommend this form of transportation for someone with a morning flight unless your one of the first ones off the ship. Of course there’s always another side to the story. Maybe the people we waited for made their flight because we waited instead of putting them on the 10am bus. Just my 2 cents. Again if you’ve got extra time LUX2 is a great value at 30 bucks a person round trip with very friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Lux2 Transfer did a great job. They were on time and drivers were very friendly and funny. Handles all the luggage, so nothing to do except ride. The bus is a nice smooth ride. Have used them several times now and always the same. Thumbs up!

Fantastic experience: The experience from start to finish was great. Seats were comfortable and the bus was clean. Driver picked us up at the hotel, he knew our names and assisted with luggage. My mom was sick and he was very patient and attentive. Excellent service to and from the port.

Fantastic experience: Recently took a RC cruise and needed transport between Cape Canaveral and the Orlando airport for a party of six . Lux2 Transfer provided excellent service on the way to and from the airport. They were easy to find at Terminal A ( first time at Orlando airport) and led us straight to the bus. They delivered exactly what they promised and were very accommodating as I changed our reservations within two days of travel . Will definitely use them again Dennis

Negative experience: On the way to the ship, it was great. On the way back, you said a luxury coach would be waiting, well you lied. We waited for over an hour after getting off the ship. Then, to top that off, you overbooked and people started getting off. I could not sit with my 13 year old, sick granddaughter, or her mother which really made me mad. Her mother couldn't sit with either of us, also. Would never use them again

Fantastic experience: Nice bus, left on time from Airport and arrived at Port on time. Same experience on trip from Port to Airport.

Negative experience: Communication leading up to our trip was great, they even called multiple times to confirm our transfers. Transfer to the port from our hotel was fine as well. Then when we got off of our boat we were under the assumption our bus was there waiting for us. So we hurried off to get there. We did not know the bus was picking up ALL people getting off of all of the different cruise lines. We stood outside for an hour with 4 toddlers waiting for a bus, which was then Full! We didn’t know where it was, and just left standing outside waiting for the bus. Finally one came to get us, which was also full, but luckily got a seat. Knowing we had a party of 12, they should’ve been more prepared and sent more than one bus for everyone. Apparently this company doesn’t run many buses so plan to wait to get it.

Negative experience: if i could give 0 stars i would. we waited over an hour and had yet to show up to pick us up to get to the port on time.. refuses to give a refund back and had to call an uber just to make sure we get on our cruise ship on time... HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. you will be wasting your money and time.

Fantastic experience: Made early reservations with Stephanie. She explained the entire process. Very friendly and excellent customer service rep. Called us several days in advance to confirm. Appreciated that shuttle picked us up at hotel since I arrived a day early. Needed to use lift since daughter handicapped. Both drivers, Miguel & Skip, were very professional & accommodating.

Fantastic experience: The customer service was excellent. I sent an email and got a quick response, and when we arrived at the airport there was someone right there to direct us to the bus. On the return, Jennifer from Lux called before we arrived at the bus, to see how long we would be getting off the ship, as there was a bus there ready to leave. We missed it but found Jennifer easily at the dock. She was great! Highly recommend Lux2, and they are half the price as the other transports. 2/9/2020

Fantastic experience: Lux transfer was awesome to use. They confirmed the pick up a week in advance. Called me back almost immediately to answer a concern. They were on time for both pick ups and the driver to the port was interactive with the kids and made the trip fun. Everything done from my phone. Couldn't be easier. I could not ask for anything more.

Fantastic experience: Great friendly service! We arranged to be picked up from the lobby of our hotel. They were prompt, and took care of our bags from there. We then made several stops to pick up guests from other hotels & from the airport. This made the ride longer than we expected, but we still arrived at Port Canaveral early with plenty of time to spare.

Fantastic experience: We had a great ride to the port to get on the ship Orlando is a hard port to get to Uber $79 one way taxi forget about it. This is great like $15 a head one way get round trip or you got to get a taxi oh well the bus has lots of space for your luggage it is great loved it

Positive experience: The trip from Orlando Airport hotel to Port Canaveral was great. No issues and bus took us directly to terminal. On the way back to airport the driver used his PA system to totally annoy everyone with his banter. We just want to close our eyes. But he was non stop with his bus driver license and stupid jokes. Needless to say, no tip. Aside from the annoying driver the rest of the service was great.

Negative experience: Okay so the lady that checked me in was really nice, and showed me to the seat I requested due to claustrophobia, a very real thing. I did not appreciate the bus driver looking at me and questioning why I was there. Even if that's how he felt, I shouldn't know about it. Poor professionalism. ***UPDATE*** First off, I appreciate the fact that all reviews are responded to by this company. It gave me comfort in knowing my voice would be heard. Second, they are committed to making things right. My return trip (pre-paid so I had to use them again) was 100% different, and I could tell my concerns had been acknowledged. Their commitment to customer service was proven over and over again. My return trip started with another customer begging the driver to wait for members of their party (who turned out to be elderly women) who were running behind. Uneasy about the request, the driver waited. Those 2 minutes meant everything to those customers. The driver then apologetically announced that he would have to back-track to another stop to pick up more riders. Those 5 minutes meant everything to those customers. Over and over again, their dedication to excellence was proven. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to all. 5 STARS!!! Fantastic experience: Great service! Very helpful and courteous staff and did exactly what they said they would; on schedule. Used service round trip to/from Orlando hotel to Port Canaveral. Even called me the morning the ship returned to let me know exactly where to go, which was very helpful in a very busy loading area for all the shuttles picking up debarking passengers. Highly recommend and will definitely use them next cruise!

Positive experience: Overall, it was a good experience. The ride to and from the port was smooth and quick. There were only two minor issues. 1. The bathroom on the bus was not in great shape, could have been cleaned. 2. On the return trip, we had to wait over an hour after we got off the bot for the bus to show up and there was little communication about what was going on. The drivers were friendly and helpful. No hassle to and from the port.

Fantastic experience: The service was outstanding, courteous and treated us as if we were family. The drive was relaxing and I really liked that he unloaded the bus prior to anyone getting off because it made it easy to step off grab bags and go. I will use this company again and refer my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I chose Lux2 transfer because they were one of the only services to offer a military discount. A family of 4 with 2 one-ways from hotel to port and port to MCO airport. Wonderful service from pick-up to drop-off from our cruise vacation. Very nice and helpful staff over the phone, bus driver, and personnel at the port. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Positive experience: The trip to the ship was great. What I did not like was that we were all ready to leave the port at 845 AM however the bus did not arrive until 915 and they would not leave until 1000 just in case there was someone else which there was not

Negative experience: I will never use this service again. Your tardiness in arriving at the cruise terminal compounded by your instruction to the driver that he was not to leave the terminal for the airport until 8:05 am caused me to miss my flight and upset my entire day's schedule. You can bet on it that I will find places on social media to voice my complaint toward your service. BTW your survey would not let me post a zero star. So I gave you 1 star just to enable my voice to be heard.

Positive experience: The girl who helped over the phone to set up the ride was awesome.....however, the driver on the way to the airport didn't have the foresight to make sure the a/c worked or functioned period. Had to be near 50 people on the bus and it got warm. After a few shouts to turn on the air he switched something and said "let's see what happens". .it got warmer. Book. We survived, but c'mon.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful staff and service. A lot of people coming off the cruise are using GoPort but to be honest, their wait was twice as long and their staff not very accommodating. We would use Lux every time from here on in. Got on the shuttle quick, we also got to the airport in less than an hour and when travelling with kids, every minute counts! Best shuttle service in our opinion. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Purchased our ride through Groupon. Was super easy and they were very accommodating. Quick response. For those traveling from Port Canaveral back to MCO and have early flights, better to arrange separate service versus rushing the driver. The shuttle left at about 8a and there were riders saying they were going to miss their 9a flight. Glad we planned accordingly.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, we had a group of 16 people and everything went smoothly for the transportation between MCO and the cruise port. We also considered goport, but ended up going with lux2 because it was marginally cheaper. Turns out it was a good decision as we saw a huge line for goport shuttle in both direction whereas the lines for lux2 was much shorter in comparison.

Fantastic experience: Finding the bus was easy, loaded the luggage, and we were underway in just a few minutes. Arrive at the airport in about 45 minutes, everything was great. The price was far better than any other option we found.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Customer Service! I purchased round trip transfer from Orlando Airport (MCO) to Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal and back for my Carnival Cruise. The price was substantially less than Carnival. When I arrived at my departure airport, I found out that my flight was delayed and I might not make it to the last cruise terminal shuttle. I called Lux2 and spoke to Laura. She offered to have car transportation standing by if the flight was too late. We agreed that I'd keep her up to date as the day went on. My flight arrived late, but earlier than expected and Laura called the agent at the airport and had her hold the bus for 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the baggage took too long to be offloaded and she had to let the bus go. She offered the car transport, but I had also been in touch with Carnival and was able to make their last shuttle) I appreciated the effort made on our behalf. The customer care was excellent!

Fantastic experience: Lux2 is located in a great airport MCO- in terminal A. Information desk pointed me in the right direction. The person at the Lux2 counter was friendly and checked my ID to verify it was me. Indoor seating was available with the comfort of AC. Very well organized for boarding. Busses were clean, driver was friendly, informative ( yes there is a restroom on board), and we arrived within the 45 min they said it would take. Price was competitive and well worth it. I would seriously recommend them. It runs pretty regularly but double check to see when the last shuttle runs. Satisfied customer, Brian

Negative experience: The drivers with the company are their saving grace. Both of our drivers were lovely and helpful. However, it seems this shuttle is chronically running behind. While we were insured the bus would “be here any minute (multiple times),” we waited 45 minutes for our shuttle from port to airport. Also, the buses are unmarked and unprofessional. I would not book with this company again in the future.

Positive experience: Very good service however when we left the ship to get our ride, our names were nowhere on the list. Luckily I still had the confirmation when the transfer was originally booked. The ride from the airport to the hotel was quite confusing. I’ve never heard a driver say that they hate going to a hotel because they have to do extra driving to get in and out. I’ve learned to keep my dislikes to myself. Other than that, everything was good.

Negative experience: I scheduled in July for our flight from Cleveland to Orlando in 8/19 to Port Canaveral and from Port Canaveral back to Orlando 8/24. I booked for 10, unfortunately 4 of the group had their flight canceled at last minute and did not make cruise. When questioned about a refund for the 4, I was told because I did not cancel within 72 hrs of booking I was ineligible for a refund. Really? Like I knew in July their flight would be canceled 2 hours before their flight. Then, we had to wait at airport over half hour because the bus was full and on way back had to wait because they had to get a different bus. (That was not Lux2 bus- over booked?) They wanted to give a credit- this was a 1 time flying into Orlando. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Fantastic experience: Had some difficulty with locating the pre-arranged transportation desk once leaving my ship at Port Camaveral. But once I located the desk the women at the desk were nice and very quick to assist me and my family with getting on the bus and to Orlando airport. I even felt like they went above and beyond when it came to personally escorting us to the bus and getting and our luggage squared away. I was concerned that because we showed up a little earlier than expected there would be an issue. But there was not.

Fantastic experience: There was a lady at Port Canaveral that greeted me and lead me to the location where the bus would arrive. She was very nice. The bus attendant and bus driver was great as well.

Just wanted to add to my review, after arriving at the terminal would realize my daughter had lost her wallet there. The Lux2 staff went the extra mile hope to locate the wallet and then you called us with information I'm where we could pick it up.
