Negative experience: I had a AAA account, broke down and was told I didn't have an account. I payed for a tow. I later went to AAA to get a new account and have some notary work done and found out that they had been auto paying an old account and I did have it all along. I was told oh sorry too bad.
Negative experience: Ridiculously slow. 2 hour wait for a driver's license renewal, one employee.
Negative experience: Unless you want to waste your time calling in several times, waiting for follow ups on cases that haven’t been documented or were ignored, AND having to complete tasks that ultimately contributed nothing to resolving your situation…. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I’ve been trying to transfer my title for a month and keep getting the runaround. The first time I was told they could not request my title from Penndot until I was physically at AAA, so I called again the following week to confirm the best time to come in and was told I could just have it faxed over. The person I spoke with gave me a fax number, took down my phone number and said they would call me to follow up. I called again a week later and was told they will continue looking for the faxed title and would call me back. When I called today, the person I spoke to said they don’t accept faxes. Instead of trying a 4th time to be told something else incorrect and getting no further along on this transfer, I’m gladly taking my business elsewhere.
Negative experience: I got there at 1:30 pm and the entire insurance department was on break until 2:00 pm.
Negative experience: Truly unbelievable place. Needed to get a new title for my car, went here. The person that helped me put in the wrong mileage on the title, even though the paper I signed saying everything was correct was correct. Now it’s been almost 2 months of me trying to get a new title when it was their mistake, and I’m still getting nowhere. And the car I’m trying to sell keeps going down in value because of this places mistake.

Negative experience: If I could rate this place as incompetent I would. This is by far the worst service I have ever received. I have been to this location 5 times now and every single time they tell me I need another form. I triple confirm every time I leave that if I return with the documents that I I will be good to tag my truck. I show up again and something else is needed not previously mentioned. Absolutely trash. They had to bring someone in from another location to “clean things up.” Not a single person can do their job. Do yourself a favor a drive an hour if you have to. You will save time. ABSOLUTELY TRASH.
Negative experience: Happened to Greg the receptionist as the ladies act like they don't want to help you meanwhile Greg was very attentive and helpful the last time I was here. These ladies don't want to do any basic services...What is going on, AAA?? Bring Greg Back!!

Negative experience: I should have read the most recent reviews before I became entangled with quotes for car insurance and homeowners through this office. I dealt with Darla who strung me along for over 2 weeks with a full page of one scratched out quote after another as every phone call lead to a new change or stipulation to of course....increase the cost. I'm not sure if it was lack of training even though each person at this office reminds you over and over how many "years" they have been in insurance. Or possibly AAA's training to lowball a potential customer to drag them in then hit them hard when its time to sign. I've never experienced anything like it in all my years of holding commercial, business,homeowners and auto. I am a 63 years old woman with good credit, good driving record, almost zero claims and these people seem to want your 1st born child in order to become insured at a reasonable rate. When moving up the food chain to office manager Kylie to complain of the total waste of 2 weeks of phone calls trying to secure insurance, she began to babble on in Greek on AAA's protocol as to what made my initial quote increase to almost double. She has to answer to someone who I found is Terri who did not have the courtesy to return my call request on the whole fiasco. Funny how this same lack of customer service and dealing with fast talking idiots has gotten me a full year compensation for my AAA membership after another group of morons left my family stranded after a road call which was all the result of people not doing their job correctly. Folks...AAA is not the end all anymore for auto memberships or of course insurance. I'll be switching the channel from now on with their nauseating commercials after this experience. It just leaves me flabbergasted on what a unbelievable bunch I have dealt with for weeks. A complete joke.

Fantastic experience: I had to use my Triple A on Wednesday April 3, 2024 for a flat tire this week. I used the online chat to place my service call. It was easy and a member told me by text a person was notified and they would be on their way within the hour. Needless to say the super nice gentleman was there within a half hour he was very kind and courteous and had my flat tire changed in no time. He wished me a good day and told me to drive slowly on the spare tire until I reached a place that could look at the flat one. So glad I have triple A!! Norma. P.
Negative experience: Horrible experience. Never returns any calls. Manager avoids phone calls and doesn't return phone calls.
Negative experience: Terrible attitudes from several of the people working here. Clearly hate to do their jobs and should switch careers.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional staff in the licensing area. I was never contacted (after being advised that I would be) about the arrival of my plates. Then after I called (a week later) and verified that the information arrived, I waited over an hour to be advised that my spouse needed to be in attendance (since he cosigned). Very inconvenient. On the contrary, the receptionist was very helpful and attentive.
Fantastic experience: I went here ready with my photo license card for my driver's license renewal, in the middle of the month, on a Saturday afternoon. I had my picture taken within 5 minutes of walking in the door, received my new license in only another few minutes, and was treated respectfully the whole time. No pain or hassle.
Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Went in for a simple registration renewal. Waited over 20 mins. Three employees at the drivers service section , only one was actually doing their job. About as bad as the DMV. Why am I paying for this if the service is no better?

Negative experience: Twice now I have been mis-lead by the people answering the phone at the Monroeville location with regards to titling questions. I called ahead, to make sure I brought the necessary items to get a title, and transfer a title. Both times I received incomplete information. On arrival and being denied service, I was informed " oh, that person is new". Wasted trips and time. Ended up going to other notaries that could actually assist me. Not sure why they put new inexperienced people on the phones, but they are not doing the membership any favors. My advice is go to a notary you can trust, or if you insist on using AAA, call ahead multiple times and take the best two out of three answers you receive. Best to use the downtown Pittsburgh location.
Negative experience: Went to get my license updated, they advertise they are open until 6 so I arrive directly after work at 4:10.I waited in line until 4:30 to finally get to the receptionist to check in, and she told me that everyone has left for the day and to come back tomorrow at 9am because they closed at 4:15. Even though they advertise til 6 and I was still there early they would not help me! Wasted my time and were incredibly rude about it. Do not go here unless you have hours to waste standing in line while people complain about their roadside assistance! I’d leave 1 star if it would let me.

Fantastic experience: I rarely write reviews but I just HAD to write one about Ms Jennifer Lynch so she can get the recognition she DESERVES. She is the most kind & patient agent / branch specialist I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting while at AAA! I was so frustrated with a problem with my car (after getting the run around with the DMV & insurance) but she walked me thru all the things i needed to do to handle my situation, all with a kind heart and smile on her face. After a few jokes and conversation (while waiting for things to be faxed over) my problem was resolved. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND & AAA should be happy they have her representing their company! Thanks again Ms. Lynch!!!

Negative experience: I went to purchase launch permits for my kayaks because they can print out the stickers. After I paid and stickers were printed (wrong) they said they would mail them to me. Heck, I could have done that from home. Waste of my time.
Fantastic experience: Amazing. I came to get the photo for my drivers’ license renewal. I didn’t even have to take a number. (It was 12:30 p.m. on a Thursday.) The lady taking the photo was nice and patient. She took 8 photos before we found the winner. What a great experience.
Negative experience: Wish I can do zero stars for their services. I was there for duplicate driver licenses and I paid for $15 non membership fee. Couple day after I found out I’m a member of AAA never used their service so I forgot. Anyway week later I went there to take my refund back. There is a lady on front desk says their is no transaction for that date so we can’t give you money back. ( I’m not gonna renew you membership). I will pay more money to someone else but not you guys.
Negative experience: I went in there with a buyer of a car I sold today she didn't have an insurance card. We were at the furthest notary desk near the back. I asked if I could sign and leave the ladybwas rude and said no. So I had to wait 40 minutes. When we were waited on by girl in front I told her I have to get my son off the bus she had me sign and leave like i asked other person to do
Fantastic experience: I had Ms. Reynolds and she was a totally amazing! I was experiencing some difficulties aquiring the correct documents and it carried over after 5 pm. I really appreciated that she was willing to stay after with me and that her attitude was patient and helpful even though the store was officially closed.
Negative experience: Spent 15-20 min standing in line bc they have 1 person bouncing from reception to other sections. Seems like they waste people's time by making them wait and then telling them why they cannot complete their service. Out of the five people that were ahead of me, only one actually got to get some service.
Fantastic experience: A very good experience! We went to register out of state vehicles, passport photos and start a membership. Everyone at this location was very friendly and more than willing to help us. It was a refreshing surprise to be dealing with so many nice people!
Fantastic experience: From the time I walked in to the time I left...under 10 min to get to my license photo. The girl at the front desk was very nice, really friendly and even walked me to the photo area. The woman taking my photo was nice as well. Quick service.

Fantastic experience: Their AAA membership is something to consider. I have had it for a long time. Their PLUS membership will provide a tow for 100 miles. If you lock your keys in the car they will open it & if you need a jump or a battery or gas, you call and they provide. Also for any vehicle title transfer, they are very efficient, because they are electronically connected to the state. They also have a provision for an RV or motorcycle. There are many other benefits to look into . . .

Positive experience: I am very upset with my service today with AAA. My car broke down on the road and I could not pull off and my car was totally dead. I called and was told that no one could be there for 90 minutes and that she would notify the police. The police did not come and neither did the tow truck. Called repeatedly and was lied to constantly about a truck coming. No one ever came and my son was able to push it off the road. I could have been killed sitting there waiting for their help. Why do I pay for this lousy service. My car is still sitting in an empty lot.

Negative experience: They told us an hour and a half wait so we left to go somewhere else then we got several messages 15 minutes later that they were ready for us.
Negative experience: My husband locked The keys in the car in Monroeville Mall parking lot. He called at 6:30. It is 930 and no one has arrived yet. He is stranded there with 2 small children. He just called another company. I have been a member for 25 years. The service has gone downhill so much. I trust the AAA and maintain that membership due to the fact it gave me a sense of safety while on the road. That sense of safety is completely out the door. They have no sense of urgency or care for their clients.

Negative experience: If you are one of the unfortunate souls that has to CALL this place for a general question, be prepared to make a lunch and be sure you don't have ANY other plans for the day!!! I called and listened to the automated phone line to prompt me in the right direction to have my call answered by a "profession representative" only to explain my situation repeatedly and have my call transferred by TWO other operators anyways, to the SAME department I prompted the automated line in the first place. WHY even have a automated phone line to direct customer to the right department IF it's NOT gonna forward the actual call there? Altogether a 38 min waste of time, just for the last rep to tell me that I needed to come inside the office to have my situation rectified.
Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience. I called ahead and the initial lady gave me her email and had my printed documents waiting on me. (For a title transfer) The process was nice, smooth, and professional. Before I left, Scott was able to give me an insurance quote that 1.Gives me better overall coverage. 2.Offers a lower rate to insure two of my cars vs Progressive does to insure my 1 car. He also got me a AAA Membership which includes so many perks.
Positive experience: Disapointed that all driving materials are now just available on line. Some people still prefer to read from a book and it's, easier to reference and make notes.

Negative experience: I called a day before I had to drive down there to see what I needed to take care of a title situation and I was given the wrong info and I drove 3.5 hrs to not have taken care of my issue and they told me "I don't know who you spoke to but they gave you the wrong information". I was so angry. Then I asked why don't everyone who work here know what information to give out? So glad I no longer live in pa and I would never advise anyone to go there.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were purchasing a car and realized at the dealership that his license had expired a couple of days prior...needless to say we were scrambling to get him a new license, and the DMV was closed. The dealership recommended that we go to AAA. Everyone was so helpful, and the process was very fast.
Fantastic experience: I was satisfied with the service call and service. My son locked the keys in the car. The technician arrived when they said he would and he was able to retrieve the keys with minimal problems. He was a very repeatable you man, he told me I could go back in the house and stay warm beauty it was so cold outside.

Fantastic experience: It was so lovely. Everyone was spaced out 6ft. The very nice woman who did my paperwork was amazing. I really enjoyed talking with her. She was so considerate and knowledgeable of all the AAA procedures. She filed all my paperwork and then even told me how to do it an easier way when I return to file for another vehicle.
