Fantastic experience: One of the best AAA locstions. Saved me a bunch in registration fees that another location was trying to fraudulent make me pay for. Would highly recommend.
Negative experience: I am very disappointed in how AAA handled my issue over the phone and in person. I have been a member of AAA for over 2 decades and have never had an issue with them until now. AAA withdrew from my checking account 3 times for the same bill, which resulted in 2 overdrafts. AAA sent me a check for the 2 extra charges. I went back and forth with AAA for over 6 months first. In person, they told me the overdrafts were not their issue but my bank's issue. How is it not your issue when your website allowed the withdraw 3x!? If it I paid the first time, why would you allow it to continue to withdraw from my account? I got a notice that the charge didn't go through 2x so I processed it...3x. The notice said if I didn't pay it on time that I will lose my insurance. Make it make sense! I told them to fix it so this never happens to anyone else.
Negative experience: Absolutely waste of time/money I have a AAA member that's worthless.. the employee i met with today named Johnny was so jittery he was making me uncomfortable I do not recommend such poor services and will not renew my membership next year I threw my membership card in the trash
Negative experience: They have a horrible attitude and will do anything to make it a complete pain to get your handicap placard. I got rejected twice because my application was a day earlier than the new version and because the doctor didn’t put a date down. Went to another office and had 0 problems

Fantastic experience: Johnny Tran is truly an amazing AAA customer service rep! He has helped me on 2 separate occasions and he is always so friendly. I would recommend this branch solely on his kindness when he interacts with customers.
Negative experience: Someone bumped into my car and I got their AAA insurance info. The AAA adjuster ghosted me, never picked up my phone calls, and later blocked my number I believe. I have to call AAA many times and was told that my case was closed, even though I was never able to speak to this adjuster at all. How can file a complaint against this adjuster? Does anyone have similar experience with AAA?
Negative experience: Very disappointed at the notary service of this AAA office. They misunderstood the basic Power of Attorney form and the Chinese speaking staff does not know how to properly conduct the question as a result misleading the customer to the wrong answer. They asked why the itemized field in the POA form was not lined out when the last box of all of the above box is already initialized by the principal. Then, the supervisor came to reinforce the mistake that was made, and if anyone attempted to make correction, it is in violation of their operating procedure. Bottom line they don’t know what they are doing or they don’t really want to provide such legal service because of their incompetence.
Negative experience: We went in to apply for an IDP and had the displeasure of working with Maria Elena Morales. She was condescending toward us from the moment we sat down. She nitpicked at our application criticizing my husband’s handwriting (and my husband’s penmanship is beyond excellent btw) and was very short with us for god knows what reason. When we asked her to clarify the instructions she gave us, she disdainfully stared at us and repeated herself condescendingly at us, all the while still unclear with her answers. She was not thorough in her work that after we had paid the fee and when she was literally handing over our permit, she insisted she could not because our drivers license was expiring in a few weeks (even though we had proof that it had been renewed). We went through the process of a refund and did NOT get the passport photos we brought in returned. She told us that we could come back and the photos could be taken there once we bring in new drivers license. Naturally, we were curious if we needed to bring extra cash to pay for the photos that was going to take for us. When we asked her, she scolded us and responded, “I JUST TOLD YOU THAT I WOULD TAKE THE PHOTOS!” Which, of course, did not answer our question. I’m not one to write a review for subpar service but this was on another level. We decided to write this review so that others who come here can avoid being patronized by Maria Elena. It was more upsetting to us in hindsight that we kept politely answering all her questions with all our stupid “pleases” and “thank yous” the entire time she was “helping” us. What a complete waste of time!
Negative experience: I've been coming here for years and never have I seen front receptionist act in a mean way. When I first came in I had DMV services to take care of and then was asked cash or card, I told her (young lady)that depends how much it is. she told me I don't know how much it is (in a very rude tone) ...like if I asked her the exact amount. I know she's just a receptionist Uncomfortable the whole time I was there this was on 3/9/24 10:00am
Negative experience: The employees at this location are extremely rude and mean, especially the supervisor. Endless wait time and staff are just sitting there but not helping customers at all.
Fantastic experience: 5 star service, not a long wait and comprehensive services available. Went for new plates and registration renewal. In and out in 35-40 minutes. Alfred and Zita were warm, understanding, and so kind. Give them a raise!

Negative experience: I am visiting my insurance company to submited an application for disabled placard . Clerk checked my paper work and tell me to wait for my name to be called. 20 minutes pass by and I approached the clerk for her to tell me I still have to wait more time . Meanwhile other members just walked in and do their transactions. I expected more assistance for disabled people.
Negative experience: I come here each year to clear the insurance requirements for my cars. I have a cash deposit instead of insurance, which is perfectly legal. The first year they accepted it and issued the renewal but ever since then they never even try to help me. I’m not sure why I’m still a member since help with registration is one of their main services.

Negative experience: I visited the Alhambra branch this Saturday morning to pay my home insurance and DMV registration. Both cashiers were quick, friendly, and courteous, with the DMV clerk outstanding (her name is Savannah, a new hire). I've been a member for 15 years. AAA Alhambra has always had good customer service and maybe an occasional blip, but that's ok. Unfortunately, today, when I decided to ask about travel services, the customer service wasn't ok. After I completed the transaction for DMV, Savannah remembered I had asked what AAA offered for travel and promptly placed me on the call queue for travel services :) After a very short wait, the agent called me up. She appeared friendly and looked the part. Upon hearing my inquiries on what excursions AAA had to offer, she immediately replied, "You may go online and check out the website. Look for the place where you are going and everything will be there." ??? I left. Apparently, she didn't want me there.

Negative experience: The membership and customer phone center is horrible . How can i know my membership is when thier are email or text notification about it instead calling still not my questions . They rip off since primary member no longer still membership beyond ridiculous . The reason for 2 stars , is the the front desk does a good job DMV and registration services .
Fantastic experience: service is relatively quick which is pretty cool, but even if they are slow they are still faster than DMV. I still can't wrap my ahead around why they don't take debit card but twice I had to drive to an atm because of this. They take cash, check and credit card. It's a Triple A thing so I can't fault this branch. I get my registration done here and also title transferred a vehicle here too so I'm pretty happy with the place.
Negative experience: My parents went in today Sat July, 23, 2022, and their regular agent was off. They were handed over to either an Erin or Erik…. who treated them extremely bad, lost his patience just because they were asking questions. Mind you my parents are older and did not deserve this horrible treatment!!!! You need to train your agents to treat older people with respect. Manager needs to step in. Discusting so upset…. left my mom shaking!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had AAA membership for 20+ years, and I’m always generally happy with the service I receive. But the experience this time was exceptionally excellent and definitely worth a google review! I live in different city but was in Alhambra to visit relatives and take care of a few things, including some paperwork for DMV stuff, so decided to give this AAA a try. The staff that helped me was Araceli, and she’s the reason I’m writing this 5 star review. She was very friendly of course (which is a given with AAA staff), but what set her apart from others was how attentive she was. She was stationed at the handicap window so there was no chairs at the window and the counter surface was very low to accommodate wheelchairs. She noticed I was bending down a lot to fill out the form and before my back even started protesting and without me saying anything, she cleared out the adjacent and taller counter space for me to use! That might seem like a small gesture but I was really touched. She was also very patient and detail oriented. I ended up needing smog check before paperwork could be finalized, I somehow was able to get it done near by and made it back to AAA before 5 pm, and Araceli saw me and greeted me right away and helped me finish the paperwork without needing to check in again and waiting in line twice. She even remembered my name! Just outstanding customer service, and made my day that much better. Thank you, Araceli, and keep up with the great work!

Fantastic experience: Alhambra AAA was awesome they helped when i was put in a jam by Monterey park police department getting my car towed away because of registration being expired. I didnt have to wait very long as i waited i was near by in my seat amd heard another customer getting set up for a wonderful trip to paris that was enjoyable to here next time i go into AAA it will hopefully be for a nice trip like PAris not DMV issues. Place was well set up many employees to help us customers pleasant visit recommend the yearly fee for all the services you could get with cordial respect.

Negative experience: I went to Alhambra location and tried to get a registration extension for my wife. Paul told me to make an account for my wife so I did. After when I tried to pay, he told me then that I could not use my card to pay for her. She was at work and I spent so long doing this only to be told that it was a waste of time? Worst service ever.

Negative experience: Wait was long, they didn't page me like they said they would, and won't do any DMV transactions if there was any DMV activity on the account within last 30 days. The only good thing was you check in and then you can wait in your car, they are supposed to page you (they didn't page me).
Positive experience: O took my Son Jesse Jr to get his first vac for the Covid-19 the second vac to follow.. See he works for of Walgreens North San Gabriel Store. He's a SFL shift manager. Been with the company for going on 13 years. He was called and asked if he wanted to get the vaccine, so we went to the So. Lake/ Del Mar Walgreen's. So walked in and were greeted very well. I enjoy walking in to other Walgreen's stores to see their set up. Which means where things are located and the different mark downs they have. That was our stop in Pasadena CA today.
