Fantastic experience: I had the absolute pleasure of getting to work with Jaime in their DMV department to register my out of state car here in CA and he was beyond kind, helpful and informative during every step. He made the entire process so smooth and painless, it was honestly a breeze and relieved so much stress as registering an out of state car in CA can seem so daunting. It’s not every day you can say you had a good time at the DMV. Francky in their memberships department helped set up my AAA membership and he was also so nice and made me feel very confident in the membership option I chose. So easy to get it set up! Overall a wonderful experience here at AAA, they will make it all so easy for you!
Fantastic experience: Thanks to Ashot Avakyan, I was in and out of there in an hour. Truly one of the most helpful people I have talked to, not only did he have an answer to all my questions, but he also helped right my insurance papers as there were some mistakes in the names.

Negative experience: Notoriously shameful roadside assistance! AAA Plus (gold) member here, and I spent 5h yesterday trying to get a tow after accident damage. The first assigned transport never progressed to the “dispatch” status, and then it just vaporized. The next transport promised 1h30m response but similarly never progressed to dispatch on AAA “virtual assistant”. After 2.5h I contacted their call center upon which I was promised, “They’ll be there in 20m.” This went on with several callbacks until at 5h I realized the shop where it was to be towed would be closed on arrival. Rather than leaving my car parked on a deserted industrial street on the west side, I had to cancel. It gets worse. And dangerous. About 20m after cancellation a tow driver shows up, and I see him from across the street all over my car, opening the driver door and rifling through things. I informed him that the tow was canceled as he showed up 5 hours late. He demands to tow it, and I tell him to stop. The driver is irate and angrily demands payment. He then proceeds to re-enter my car without permission and start to take photos of odometers, plates, everything, like he wants to bill or set up a lawsuit or something. I told this guy to get away from my car and to get lost (let’s just say in uncertain terms here) but he’s then walking up to me like he wants a fight. The arse then starts filming me with his mobile telling him to leave. After he got the idea that I was calling the cops he pulls his rig 100 feet down the road and just sits there like he’s stalking me or something. My car is *not* safely drivable over 5 mph (if that) but I had to figure out a way to get it out of there so that menacing clown wouldn’t hitch it up or damage it further out of revenge. The call center at AAA felt so bad earlier that they assigned a second tow company at 4h but of course neither had showed. When I canceled we then set up a tow for the next morning at 7a, and later I was texted that the truck would arrive at 712a. Different transport company but they have rescheduled to 8a and then 843a, and now it’s 820a as I’m writing, and the call has not moved to dispatch, nor even one iota past the assigned state. There’s no real complaint process for AAA Southern California. This is posted under the Glendale AAA chapter because it’s the region where this travesty is occurring. I have informed the call center of my dissatisfaction but they don’t seem to be empowered to do anything but reschedule tow jobs that never come. Imagine taking two days off work to get your car driven to an auto body shop, and the biggest problem isn’t the accident but the roadside assistance service you’ve hardly used and paid faithfully for over 15 years.

Negative experience: I register at 4:06 pm . I have two cars to transfer titles. I was told the wait time is 50 mins. At 5:20 it was my turn. I explained my need to tranfer two titles. The rep said "We are only doing one today" I asked "Why? She decided to tell me it is a two step process anyway since I do not have a smog check complete, so she said "You can return tomorrow." Oh thank you AAA, you can tell me how you are going to limit your work and then tell me what to do with my time. Is this what I pay membership fees for? Silly me I thought differently! When I decide to leave being careful not to escalate the situation, she said " it isn't a hard process." Of course it isn't - when people want to do their job. SMH. Not the AAA membership I learned to love.
Negative experience: I went to AAA Glendale because we just moved in last saturday to this city, i went there to inquire about change of address, while I was asking their front liners about change of address the lady with a very long colored hair keep saying I dont understand what you are saying, all I was asking is change of address and she keeps on saying I dont understand you. Is she a racist? Or what? She shouldnt be in reception area if she is not receptive at all... I have been to other AAA offices but she is the "worst there is" I dont even know how she got hired

Negative experience: Kept me on hold and waiting for service for over nine hours! Stranded in the cold. DO NOT RECOMMEND. They have no customer service and want you to use an app with no human interaction. Really unprofessional.

Your employees, in a stark display of sheer neglect, seem to have taken a permanent leave of absence from their phones. Despite my relentless efforts, numerous calls, and countless voicemails, the resounding silence from your end is both deafening and infuriating. But the pinnacle of your company's incompetence? Hiring the dubious Ditchey Geiger, LLC—a firm that appears to specialize in terrorizing innocent individuals under the guise of 'debt collection'. Threatening unsuspecting people with debt accumulation and, even more maliciously, driver's license suspension, is not only a new low but borders on the scandalous. It's evident that AAA Insurance has either lost its way or deliberately chosen the path of unethical operations. How can any company, especially one as reputed as AAA, be entangled with an organization with such questionable motives? In no uncertain terms: Find the lethargic, good-for-nothing employees responsible for this gross negligence. Fire them. And while you're at it, sever ties with the scam artists you've engaged. Your current trajectory not only tarnishes your reputation but also makes a mockery of the very essence of customer service and trust. Maybe, just maybe, if you address these issues with the urgency and severity they warrant, you can salvage what's left of your company's integrity. Until then, your descent into infamy seems well underway.

Fantastic experience: I really like this AAA location. They are very efficient and friendly. Just one thing I would recommend is have something to divide the lines so that customers won’t get confused. But other than that, they are awesome .

Negative experience: I would give a better review because for the most part I usually receive friendly, polite and quick service but today was the exception. Jean Marie was the receptionist, she was extremely rude and not friendly at all. I understand customer service is hard but at the same time this is your job and it is not the customer's fault if she was having bad day. Please place her in another position, she is clearly not cut out for customer service. On the other hand the receptionist that helped me with my DMV paperwork was very friendly.

Negative experience: Stay away from AAA. Terrible service. Caused more problems for me after trying to transfer title of my dead brothers vehicle. They gave me bad advice and now i have to pay fee’s and go to the DMV for an issue all caused by AAA.

Fantastic experience: I came here to get my out of state car registered and Alyssa was incredibly helpful and kind, assisting me with every step of the process that probably would’ve been much more stressful had I gone to the DMV. I walked in without an appointment and was out within 30 minutes!
Negative experience: I would give 0 stars to AAA insurance if it was an option. I called customer service and I asked if I were to remove one of my cars from my policy what is going to be my premium and they said exactly that I will save approximately $800. So then I sold my car and called to remove the car they said your policy increases $4300 yearly. I was shocked and had no words because I sold my car, thinking my payment would go down because of their word. I even told them to go back and listen to the phone call conversation since it is recorded and they go back and listen to my conversation I had but they decided to not honor their words. I’m a 7 year customer with this insurance company with multiple policy nothing happened or was changed. They just told me “sorry but we cant do anything even though we gave the wrong information.” This is not something to be messed around with and I had to go through so many problems now because of this incident.

Positive experience: I needed my stickers and to post my fees .I also needed to renew my membership fees plus I also pay for my sons membership. It gives me peace of mind knowing that no matter what happens while driving AAA is there to assist.
