Negative experience: 1st 10 days they downgrade you to basic and stack a $50 fee on top of it. You can tow from shop to dealer if due to warranty but not the other way around. Trish out of Northampton was determined to leave my car stranded. She will use her satellites to ensure you are not at a dealership before sending a tow truck out. But someone else came through (A Hero without a cape) and saved the day after being rerouted to agent after agent after agent.
Negative experience: Have had numerous run ins with an employee named Sabrina Smith. Don't know what her problem is but I always have an issue with her. She tried to destroy my ID two seperate times and gives me a terrible attitude as well as acts like a child while trying to condone business. Will definitely be talking to a regional manager and corporate about her.
Fantastic experience: Employees are helpful the amenities are many maps, travel guides, and luggage tags too many to mention something for all the travelers

Negative experience: Totally worthless....left us stranded today for 3 hours (after telling us they were sending a tow truck) then texted us and cancelled....not even a phone call! We had to find our own towing service...even the police said they were unreliable!
Fantastic experience: Randy is the best service technician I have ever had! We were lucky enough to have him three times for problems with my old car. He has helped me out of some pretty rough situations with my car - but his dedication to service goes far beyond that. He always comes with an amazing positive attitude and a smile that brightens up the whole rest of my day. No matter how miserable I feel when my car breaks down, when Randy arrives - I feel like I'm seeing an old friend again! Not only does he impart expert advice for me to take better care of my car, but also comes with free life lessons to help me through the day. I am so lucky to have met Randy, and because of him, it has made calling AAA a fantastic experience and has totally removed all of the stress and apprehension from the process. Thank you again Randy!
Negative experience: Driving home from work on my way to Dr's. Appt on 22 boom! Tire blew. Called AAA Northampton County call sent to road side assistance had me on hold then disconnected me. Called back the woman answered I explained was disconnected her tone hold on.... got disconnectedx2!!!!! Called back said how I was disconnected 3x she ok hold on with such an attitude! I said never mind a good Samaritan helped me out! Her reply was ok what ever and hung up on me!!!! AND I'm sorry why do we pay for AAA!!!! I Have been a member for 38 yrs!!!

Fantastic experience: Robert VanDenHeuvel was extraordinary. He literally showed up 5 minutes after hanging up the phone with our operator. When he arrived I had only requested for my spare to be put on. Upon removing the wheel with the flat tire; Robert was quick to see that it could be fixed with a patch. He did it for me and got my vehicle safe to drive again all within 10 minutes of arriving. He also gave me a lot of useful information as I’m a new AAA member. As long as people like Robert represent AAA, it’s safe to say I will be a member FOR LIFE. Thank you again Robert for you excellent customer service and efficient work flow! 10 of of 5!

Negative experience: They are worse than USELESS. **The Northampton TRIPLE A CLOWNS.** They always look for ways ((NOT)) to help me. Looking for loopholes/conditions in coverage that may apply to my situation. Long waits to get ahold of people, preaching to use app. They are satisfied with leaving you voicemessages instead of actually speaking to you. The more inconvenient the time, so after hours and weekends, the more inclined they are not going to help or give you a hard time. The "reception assistance", the individual recieving phone calls have little to no knowledge of their own policies or general knowledge of cars, they are usually confused and again are looking for a way to get off the line with you. TERRIBLE WORTHLESS "Service", I hate calling them a service because they are not a service at all. They inconvenience you in times of need and only add to frustration and anxiety. You have a better shot at getting help by waving people down, knocking on doors, calling 911, or garage/towing services your self. Save the money and don't waste it on these triple AAA CLOWNS.
Fantastic experience: Robert arrived within a half hour. He was determined to get my tire plugged for me and although it seemed impossible he got it done. He was also very polite and courteous.

Negative experience: The woman I spoke to over the phone was extremely rude, screaming at me over the phone. I requested a tow to my job because I pooped my tire on the way to work. I work in an environment where I cannot be on my phone due to being a forklift operator and asked nicely if they could notify my security. They did not and in fact left, I called when I was able to leave for the day and the woman over the phone refused service to me, due to the fact that I was a little upset over the phone. They are now forcing me to leave my car in a location that could possibly be towed, or they offered for me to use a "private tow company". Why would I do that If I pay for AAA. Definitely will be switching plans and never using this service again. And I do feel bad for those that have to go through the last I did, she hung up on me when I asked her name.

Negative experience: Been a AAA member for 17 years and found out recently that they can register vehicles for a discounted price due to being a member. I bought a used vehicle from NJ from a reputable dealership and got brought the NJ title in for a simple transfer. The dealer provided me with all the documents needed including a notarized power of attorney along with the nj title. Arrived at the AAA and the clerk claimed that the power of attorney paper work with the title is filed out incorrectly. Even though it was already notarized, dated, with the name and everything was legit. Clerk claimed vehicle can't be registered. I just left AAA and went to another reputable tag and title place 10 mins down the road. Got it registered and out of the place in 15 mins. AAA was not helpful at all. Seriously debating whether or not to cancel my membership. What is the point of the membership if I can't even use the benefits?

Negative experience: I needed my name notarized, and they would not do it because it was not dealing with a car. My name is my name, and I have a government ID to prove it. I had to go somewhere else to verify my signature. I can get emergency road service from my car dealer. What am I paying for?
Fantastic experience: Had to register my car in state... service was quick and efficient, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Why go elsewhere and wait in line? Very recommended. They sell luggage, travel accessories, and lots of other stuff you had no idea you needed, too!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, we were met with 2 uninterested, unkind staff. The girl at the front desk appeared to be "busy", when in fact, she was on her cell phone, thus, not even aware I was standing there. Appointment? Yes. It appears the fact that I had an appointment was not even something they could verify. Upon reporting to the appropriate person, I was met by a person who did NOT have a pleasant personality and was, in my opinion, difficult to deal with. We ultimately were taken care of by a lovely young woman. Upon leaving AAA, again, more staff noted on cell phones. AAA offers wonderful services. Having staff with a smile on their face, greeting you pleasantly would appreciated. It is never good to see employees clearly on their cell phones not aware of customers waiting for their attention.

Negative experience: All I can say is DO NOT bother to book a cruise through this place. My s-i-l begin this process with Mary. This was quickly passed off to Pamela. My s-i-l and I met with Pamela and she seemed to listen to our requests, took our info, and assured us she would get working on it the next day because, coincidentally, their "system was down" an hour before closing. We heard/received nothing since the next 2 days she was not in the office. On the 3rd day, we finally get an email with staterooms options that were not available anymore. Saturday we had enough and called the cruise line directly. This was a great move on our part since Pamela was out of the office yet again. We also got a better deal on staterooms by booking directly. It's pretty sad that customer service is so definitely lacking here.

The guy thinks it's okay to talk smart to you, and after proceeding to tell him how rude he is, he denies it, and continues to be rude when I had a simple question for them. VERY BAD! YOU SHOULD NOT BE WORKING THERE AND DEALING WITH PEOPLE.

Negative experience: Went in for a title and tag transfer for a vehicle purchase. We were assigned someone right away and it took the girl waiting on us over a hour and ten minutes for something that should have taken 15 minutes tops! Ridiculous!
Negative experience: Without having to write a "book" here do yourself a favor and pay the extra money and use notary services somewhere else. This has been the most awful business experience I've ever had! And they charge members for services. IMO if there was a question asking if someone had hair on their back side they'd want to count the hairs! They treat their members like you are a criminal who is trying to make them your next victim! My Dad has been a member for 55 years and probably used them one other time in his life! His and my memberships will no longer be renewed! When police officers, mechanics and lawyers tell you to use any other notary but them, listen to their advice!!!

Negative experience: My wife and I booked a vacation to Aruba. Ten minutes before flight it was canceled, of course not AAA fault. Nonetheless, after rescheduling our own flight the next day we contacted our travel agent, explained situation,she said she was handling it.2 days no response, then an e- mail stating she would be out of office next two days. She did nothing. After contacting her manager, we got some help. She was helpful Still waiting for response from insurance. I would never recommend “pam” from AAA in Easton again.

Negative experience: We have been AAA members for quite some time, but yesterday I had the worst experience and my stress level is so high because of it. My car broke down and I had perishable items in the car, very long story short, I was told a tow truck would be out in 45-60 minutes. I called back in an hour and waited on hold, only to be told the call was never processed the first time. I waiting on hold for 45 minutes to speak with a supervisor and then the call was disconnected. Called back again and was told once again that the call was never placed. My husband called to get to the bottom of this and they tried to place the blame on the driver. Then they told me the truck would be there in 5 minutes. Never came. I was fuming as it was very humid outside and I was stranded. This all started at 2:30 yesterday afternoon and a tow truck driver finally called me at 7 telling me he will not be able to get there until 9:30. I was so angry by the end of the night, I have elderly parents who need my attention to care for them and I was just strung along all day when they all knew a driver would not be on the way. I told them we better receive a refund for our membership and I was told they can only offer $50 off of our next year membership. They should give us 2 years free for all of the randomness that went on yesterday. I worked in customer service for many years, UNACCEPTABLE.

Fantastic experience: I went to AAA on hecktown road for a triptik and it was completed within 10 to 15 minutes very happy with the service as usual. The office is very nice.
Positive experience: I have mixed feelings about this company. They have left me stranded during snowstorm,and take up to 4+ hours to respond to deatress calls when busy. I would say they have a 50/50 negative and positive rating. I have personally invested in added coverage through my car insurance company so, i have better change with not getting stranded again because AAA cancelled distress call. They are reliable when they aren't to busy getting motorist off highways due to winter storms and accidents.They help with situations like be involved in accident, battery, tire changes,and running out of fuel.

Negative experience: I’m not sure where the counties or areas split, but I have never waited over an hour for a tow until I had my car shut off in the Easton area. I waited for three hours calling several times with annoying transfers just to get status updates. Estimated arrival time seemed long off, followed by a they should’ve been here over an hour ago. I had to call and cancel my tow as I could no longer wait and had a friend follow me hoping my car wouldn’t shut off on the way home.
Negative experience: I bought a used car and went with the seller to transfer title and to get plates. The young girl we had to work with wasn't very pleasant. She acted frustrated at everything she had to do and continued to sigh throughout the almost 45 minute process. She should not be working with the public for she was miserable and made me feel uncomfortable sitting there. Next time I will pay a little extra and use a Notary for my title and tags.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. I have paid my membership in full for years and have never called or needed a thing. The one time that I call them and need something I get a sweet girl who assured me everything would be fine and a dispatcher would arrive within an hour. We told her three times that the vehicle had all 4 wheels stolen and is sitting on cinderblocks. She assured us that would be no problem and someone was on their way. After the call, we were still concerned and called back to double check. The new person that we spoke said there was absolutely no way they could help us because there are no tires. We tried to discuss in more detail, yet he simply stated sorry we will just cancel the request. So rude, so short and absolutely no apology for our wasted time. The people that answer the phone should be educated and understanding to not only new members but long time paying clients going through a terrible situation. I will absolutely be cancelling this service... total waste of money and so unprofessional.
