Negative experience: Registered for plus membership, and needed same day towing service. However, they don’t tell you the membership doesn’t “kick in” until a week. So, only the basic was applied, only 3 miles. PLUS A $99 FEE. Overall, I had to pay $5.60 for the membership I selected that wasn’t even applied, $99 fee, plus $155 of the towing service. It is absolutely ridiculous and this should be explained first. Absolute waste of money and no explanation for anything. It’s so ridiculous

Fantastic experience: AAA Tech: Eliezer is the reason i am a AAA member. I woke to a dead battery. Called AAA, the lady explained there were two repair calls ahead of me and that a technician would be calling me. Eliezer (AAA TECH) called me to let me know he was on the way. Eliezer was extremely thorough. He tested my whole charging system. Explained everything he was doing. He changed the battery at a very reasonable and affordable price. Negative experience: Went to the Providence office today to obtain a copy of a car registration. There was no one there waiting. As I approached, I was told by a worker that I needed an appointment and he could not assist me with out an appointment. Again, there was no one there. I asked if there were any available appointments, he proceeded to tell me they are booked today. He was rude, refused to assist me. This is extremely disappointing as I pay for a membership. I understand appointments are preferred, but again there was no one there. Not sure I am going to renew my membership after this experience.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I booked a trip from a woman named Angela who handles all the travel plans for AAA and she’s based out of Rhode Island and I believe in the province area well, I’m gonna tell you right now. I’m not a big fan of AAA cause it’s all about making a profit, but I’m gonna tell you straight out Thanks to Angela who works in the travel part of AAA Rhode Island. My wife and I had the most fantastic trip ever to Florida she is an awesome young lady. She is the best representative that AAA does have in her company. She is dynamite and if someone’s looking to book a trip to travel somewhere, I highly recommend going through Angela. She means the world to my wife and I had a special level because we could go on a honeymoon through the COVID-so thanks to Angela for half years later we had an awesome trip thanks to Angela. I cannot repeat that enough. She is a person that you can trust in AAA if she recommend somebody whether it be a life insurance or something else this young woman I can tell you right now you can trust if you’re looking for a beautiful trip you can count on Angela to give you the best. I highly recommend her also manager who hired her for position. I’m very grateful that he did because she knows how to speak to people she knows how to treat people the most respect and we are very blessed. We will be booking another trip with Angela in a few more months to go somewhere else and this is the only person we trust is Angela from AAA so if I could give her a 20 star rating, I would do it she’s dynamite! She said she was praying that Paula and I would have a great trip. Well we did thanks Angela like I said we are gonna book another trip with her sometime after March if she is interested in setting it up for us because I know my wife knows we can send her like family. That’s what a young beautiful person that says that works because she still doing her job but she cares about people very much. She’s a credit to AAA And she treats us the way she wants to be treated other members that work for AAA should learn from the young lady cause she’s the best.

Negative experience: I purchased a battery earlier this year. My truck had a tune-up to prepare for the winter. My battery had to be recharged a few times in a couple of months. My friend had a battery tester. The tester displayed battery is reading 64% power capacity. I'm on a disability budget. My truck goes through a full tune-up yearly. It is dangerous for me to have my vehicle stranded on the road. I need to have this battery changed. I have bought batteries from AAA in the past. I never had a battery lose power so quickly. Please rectify this issue. I have been trying to reach a manager or supervisor. The call rep has told me three times. A superior would get back to me 3 times. No one has contacted me once. I only want you guys to be transparent. Show your customers. you value their patronage. You will provide the best service whether they are paying or requesting to honor your warranty.

Negative experience: I have had two absolutely horrific experiences with AAA Northeast. AAA put me at risk through the negligence of their assignment and arrival reporting system. And perhaps most horribly, they won’t even hear your complaints. When I tried to make a complaint through the number an agent gave me the night of an incident, I was bounced between different branch phone numbers, with no branch willing to take responsibility and hear my case. Someone finally told me they would have the correct number call me back later. I never heard anything back. I emailed member relations: nothing. I will promptly be telling everyone I know to never renew their membership. I have heard so many other stories just like this: improper reporting of response times, leading customers on, completely useless calls with representatives after long waits. My family has been a member for over a decade and we pay more than $250 a year for a useless service. I would have been better off without calling AAA when I got a flat tire at 11 pm. When I suspected no one was coming at 1 am after waiting until the arrival time, I called a representative, and he told me to walk to the nearest hotel. Which was 8 miles away. I am a young woman. I was coming back from a wedding and was wearing a cocktail dress and over shirt, nothing else. I wound up scared and alone at night by myself in multiple locations where I did not feel safe as I tried to navigate your negligence. If I didn’t have your service, I would have sought help from a friend while they were still easily reachable at 11 pm. Instead, I thought, “I should use the service I pay for.” At 2 am, a AAA representative called to tell me she was in touch with local police, and they would use their tow company to help me. When an officer arrived, he had no idea what was going on, and they had never called a company. I spent four hours trying to get a tow through AAA before my family reached a private company after we lost hope. This is the second time this has happened to me, the first being two years ago, and thankfully earlier in the evening, so after waiting four hours as an arrival timer ran down and reset over and over, a friend picked me up. You’re better off without this service. AAA does not offer 24 hour roadside assistance, and they do not care about your safety. I have read the accounts of customers who ran into much worse situations due to the same false response time situation. I will be pursuing this further, even if it means contacting the Massachusetts Attorney General, since you seem to have no care for your customer service. You have a monopoly on this industry, and you are taking advantage of it. Your CEO John Galvin speaks of being drawn to this company for values such as helping and serving others and treating its employees and customers with dignity and respect. From the customer end, this is far from the truth, and I would guess internally as well, based on the disorganization of your branches and networks. You are harming your customers! That night left me afraid for my physical safety, and moreover, it left me heartbroken and destroyed my trust in service corporations. You’ll be hearing from me!

Negative experience: Worst Insurance EVER!!! Had an accident with a vehicle I had purchased less than 5 months prior.I tried calling the adjuster, phone was always busy.I received a letter 2 weeks after it was dated, which means it sat on their desk for at least a week and a half before they decided to mail it. Adjuster decided to total the vehicle ( had 80,000 )miles . Adjuster did not take into consideration the condition of the vehicle or the mileage.Should have never been totaled!!! I lost over $4000.00 It has been over a month and a half and I am still waiting on a check. Last letter I received said my claim remains open pending on a settlement for the total loss. They totaled it!!!! they still can't figure it out!!!!! WORST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Had to have a private towing company tow my motorcycle, after I have been paying the extra 65.00 a year for the plus plan...after 4 hours they call and say we have no straps to secure your bike..HAHA HA HA HA...sideshow....THEN corporate calls and said they will reimburse me for my tow...it was 120.00. Negative experience: This is the office i dealt with last night, i confirmed by checking the phone number. I was continuously lied to for 8.5 hours that a tow was on its way to me. I was also put on hold for over 30 minutes and hung up on on 2 separate occasions. At 4pm i was told to stand outside so he can see me and find me. I did this in the cold for 45 minutes before i sought shelter again. I then got told at 7pm (the initial call was at noon mind you) that "they really mean it this time, they're in Route" they didn't show up for 2 more hours. I hope no one needs to experience waiting 8. 5 hours by themselves in a broken down car for a tow. I've had AAA for over a decade. I'll be looking for a alternative company to get a membership with today. The complete lack of disregard for my safety, my life and my job that i completely missed a shift of, was absolutely egregious and downright cold and heartless.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a breakdown where I had to glide onto the side of the road after transmission failure. I called AAA and it gave me a link to put in a road service call. It was the easiest way to do it. They quoted me 1.30 hours. I sat there for about 20 minutes and the truck pulled up out of nowhere. I was so happy to see it arrive so quickly. The driver was very kind and sympathetic. I highly recommend using the link (or app) for road service. Thank you AAA for such prompt and courteous service.

Negative experience: I requested a tow through AAA on 8/26 for my car on the side of the highway and the tow driver’s negligence damaged the rear differential by placing it on a wheel lift when my car is AWD. Despite placing a claim through AAA as soon as it happened, I was without a car and forced to pay out of pocket for a rental for almost a month as my car was repaired by 9/25. The repair itself took less than a day to complete but my car sat at the shop for that whole time due to AAA and the tow company refusing to pay for my car to be repaired and for AAA dragging their heels with the claim, blaming me for the delays when I had everything they needed as soon as it was asked for. The member service representative, Adrienne West, was unresponsive to multiple email and call attempts and was unhelpful in resolving issues with the tow company. As a paying member, I am very disappointed in the service I received for calling AAA to tow my vehicle and I will be very hesitant to use them for any future roadside assistance.

Negative experience: I recently broke down in no providence I called aaa the service and the truck arriving was ok but that’s when it all went wrong I had a 300 lb snowblower in the back of my truck the driver Cody l gets out walks to me and and arrogantly said the blowers got to come off when I asked why he stated “if I hit a bump it can pop out of the truck” so I told him it’s strapped down which it was he again said has to come out so I called Arlington towing the service was ok but cost me $100.00 to go 3 miles so unless you really don’t need aaa don’t bother with the membership

Negative experience: Car stalled out at 6:30 pm and I called for roadside assistance as I was blocking traffic from a mall garage exit. At 11:30 pm they finally told me they could not come help and to call a private company and pay out of pocket. 5 hours I’m a dangerous place! They could have told me 2 hours in that they had no one to help. I don’t recommend this place and think my years as a member was a waste of money I’d like back. 7 years I’ve been a member and this was the worst experience of my life.

Negative experience: Wish there was something less than one star because AAA Providence is the worst. After paying for a package of driving lessons, couldn’t get any classes for my son for a month. Called to cancel and they tried to charge me a fee for canceling. Supervisor called back and convinced me not to cancel. Now I spoke to this very rude and rep about the road test- she didn’t like that I corrected her so she calls back and said they can’t accommodate my son for the road test. Suddenly their calendar is filled. Asked to speak to a supervisor and I’m told they only have one and she’s on vacation. For the amount of money AAA charges for these lessons, they should use some of that to train their reps on better customer service. My other child will NOT be using AAA driving sch that’s for sure. Shameful!!

Negative experience: Frustrating experience , I called for a tow Saturday @7:30am and the representative called me back and asked me if I would leave the vehicle unattended because they wouldn't be there for 4-5 hrs and they would tow it later due to a lack of drivers ok no problem. 12 hrs later 9:30pm I receive a text message saying the truck is on his way and 15min after that the truck is at the vehicle all good they got the truck I thought . The next day 27hrs later still no vehicle ? I called the service line and a representative said the service call was closed ? I still don't have my vehicle and she asked me if I checked in front of my house ? so my question is how do you not know where my truck is or if the service was completed or not ??? you should have it documented in the system where the tow truck took the vehicle ?. Now she wants me to call the state police to see if they had towed my vehicle or is it still on the side of the highway ( one would think that would be AAA's job to do not the customers ) to make sure that the service we pay for is completed . And why if the driver had bailed on the towing service and cancelled it why didn't he follow up with AAA to say I cant complete this service you need to send another truck ? that should be a common procedure. So here it is 32 hrs later and I am forced to track down my own vehicle because AAA doesn't even know where it is or nobody thought it would be important to follow up with the customer to inform them there was a delay and we are working on fixing the issue because they don't even know if it was completed or not . This is really bad customer service and hopefully it can be adjusted to keep this from happening again .I usually have had very good experiences with AAA service this was a complete disaster.

Negative experience: In the last two months, I had the unfortunate experience of having to use my AAA benefits. I had a new transmition installed in my van under a Chrysler warenty. It failed while we were 3 hours away from home and on a lonely country road. My wife and I are both in our 70s, and after calling AAA, we were told they would be there. 2 hours and 30 minutes into our breakdown, they told us no one would be coming until morning, and its now pouring. After several more phone calls, I finally convinced them that someone needed to come. 3 1/2 hours left on the side of the road in the rain Two weeks later, vehical is fixed or so we thought. Called AAA again from the middle of nowhere, and again, for 4 hours, we called getting one arrival time after another until I asked to talk to a supervisor who, after 4 hours told me no one will come untill morning. So what do 2 older people do in the middle of nowhere and no transportation or safe place to go. You have AAA as an insurance for situations like this, and they were not and did not car!

Negative experience: I'm basing my review on the website and the utterly mindless loops one must navigate to get information, such as to obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP). AAA website says that non-members should go through the RI DMV, however the DMV has confirmed they offer no IDP services. Every interaction I have had with Northeast DMV (4 years running) has been very frustrating. And calling their offices (when it is even possible) hasn't gotten me anywhere.

Fantastic experience: WOW! Who KNEW it would be so painless to renew a driver's license! Even "upgraded" to a REAL-id at the same time. As long as you have all your paperwork with you (per the DMV website), you're all set. Total time to renew was maybe 25 minutes?? Definitely glad I have a AAA membership.

Negative experience: Let me say since Covid shutdown I've come to expect a lack in customer service but never have I experienced such unprofessionalism, impatience, and disregard for a stranded customer as I did today...The customer service from Jennifer and 2 others were so dismissive and POOR. I'm in my car waiting for member to get vehicle picked up writing this review while on hold. I've made my concerns and disappointment known with this office supervisor, Mirkella . Jennifer and 2 others (I didn't get names bc those calls were handled by the member in need) were totally horrible. Clearly wasnt listening, had zero patience and very dismissive. AAA already takes up so much time getting call out to tow companies and wait is way too long. Today was totally RIDICULOUS. Hopefully Valley Towing gets here soon bc it will be dark soon because there is no source of light where we are waiting. There goes our Friday Evening..

Fantastic experience: They were very helpful. But wouldn't have been there had AAA had not left us stranded on the side of the road Saturday morning in 7 below temperatures. They did not even get back to us until 7:30 that night and this was at 9:30 am. We had to call the state police who in turn called Sterry towing from Attleboro, Ma. He assured us that AAA would reimburse for all charges. Well this is not true. They do not reimburse for impound fees. Which they charged us 3 days worth for even though we paid the bill at 10 am Monday morning. So apparently we have to eat that unless we want to fight the state for it.. Which by the way was supposed to be $35 every night the vehicle was there. So I would not encourage anyone to use Sterry towing.

Positive experience: It's good to have for road emergencies, they offer good discount on a variety of locations however they need to hire/find/contract more tow truck drivers so the estimated time of arrival on each emergency/service call can be significantly reduced.

Positive experience: I write this review with a heavy heart. If you look through the reviews of AAA Northeast you will see many names. The most recurrent name you will see is mine, Robert Thrasher, a Google Guide and many times reviewer. I review this firm as a former employee. I waited eight months to write this review because I am a professional and I wanted to temper my review and not be a reactionary reviewer. I cannot be labeled bitter former employee! They have many internal management issues and I am sure they will figure it out. But there is something about working for the New York group versus the Rhode Island group. It seems the RI group gets to cherry pick inbound calls, has different standards and overall if you decide to work for AAA, always opt to work for the RI group.

Negative experience: Specifically told them I needed the flatbed for my car to be towed and twice they sent a regular tow truck who had no idea that they were supposed to be bringing a flatbed. The operators do not listen or pay attention when you tell them things and there is almost no communication between the drivers and the operators. I honestly have no idea why I keep paying for this service.

Negative experience: A license renewal and real id, the clerk kept insisting to update my voter registration despite me telling the clerk that it was all set because I haven’t moved, my address was the same. Then she wouldn’t accept my lease because it was month to month but nowhere does it says that they won’t accept month to month leases, it says they won’t accept handwritten leases. Did the survey and got an email back but it was pointless because they just copied and pasted what I already knew and what was on the proof of residency checklist. Bring more than 2 proofs of residency just in case from within the last 60 days to be on the safe side and bring your voter information card too.

Negative experience: Waiting over 3 hours in the hot sun just to get my car unlocked. They tell you a time and your still waiting hours and hours is ridiculous. I'm literally down the street from aaa and they still take forever!

Negative experience: I just called aaa because I believe I ran out of gas. I was told that I exceeded my calls until my renewal. I was unaware there was a limit if I was paying for a membership. It is 1:30am. The only option is for a female to walk home for about 15 minutes at this time of night. I hope I don't get abducted in the process of simply trying to get home

Negative experience: What trash of a company. We once thought AAA was a smart choice. Wow were we wrong! Vehicle damaged by the tow truck and AAA acting like it's not their fault for us and the tow truck driver following their instructions to leave the keys in the glove box and the vehicle locked. Good luck calling them. You'll need to take the day off work just to go through their menus and hold times. Everyone should look into road side assistance through their auto insurance companies. You'll get better service and pricing. Seriously. AAA is a scam and should be shut down.

Negative experience: On 6/8/2022 at 7:30pm my vehicle was stuck and would not drive. I called AAA for a tow to a repair shop. AAA told me there was a long wait and asked me to lock my keys in the car and their tow truck drivers are equipped with locksmith capabilities. I questioned that and they told me it would not be a problem and they have many people lock their keys in the car. At 9:08 PM I get a phone call from the AAA driver (AAA Technician C645-Justin S.) and he asked me why the vehicle was locked and I told him AAA told me to. I told him I am five minutes away and can be there with my spare key. He told me he was trying to open the vehicle but could not. When I got there I unlocked the car for him then he towed it away to the repair shop. I picked my car up the following day from the repair shop and noticed my vehicle was damaged from the tow truck driver trying to open my door. I contacted AAA and they are refusing to pay for the damage to my vehicle. I got an estimate at a body shop and I was told that the estimate seemed high. I stated they can choose a local body shop for me to go to and I will go there to get an estimate and they still refused. I am looking for AAA to repair my vehicle that they damaged. I would like to settle this out of court if possible but if need be I will seek legal counsel I also asked AAA if I could get a copy of the audio from the phone conversation where they specifically told me to leave my key locked in the car and their drivers have locksmith capabilities but I was told they could not provide me with the audio unless it is subpoenaed. Stay away people. AAA is a joke. You're just a number. They don't care about you. All they care about is your money. They will NOT stand by you. Read all the complaints on BBB

Fantastic experience: This was a really good experience for my first time using Triple A's services. My car had brake pad issues. Rafael who towed my car was the best! He was early to pick me up, very knowledgeable, and explained the situation in detail. I took a ride with him to my mechanic his charismatic personality made me forget the stress of the situation. Fantastic experience: On March 15th 2022 My truck lost it's belt and I got stuck on the side of the road, I spoke to customer service and girl was so nice on the phone and sent help right away, I received my text from the driver #9923 Bradley S. that he was on his way and he would be there in 5 minutes....I can't say enough nice things about him, he was knowledgeable and very professional we were are the road to the mechanic shop in minutes and got me there safely. Negative experience: I placed a call at 10 AM this morning for my car to get towed when I lost my brakes. ​They canceled on me at 7:17pm after waiting in my car almost 9hours I had to push it into someone's driveway with the help of others to get it safely off the road. Negative experience: Do not use. AAA seems like a good idea untill they repeatedly charge you seventy five dollars twice a day and lie about the fees they charge. I was charged two seventy five dollar fee's for service I was told was ten bucks and shockingly they are outright lying about it happening which I am honestly stunned about. Negative experience: This is my first time writing a bad review. Recently I was stranded as I was trying to tow a car 40 miles to the dealer I bought it from for lemon law repairs (car profusely leaking coolant). I tried to call AAA in Danvers, MA; no issues. They booked my car and it was on the way. I was followed up with a call from the providence headquarters by a representative named Jocelyn, who told me that I couldn’t tow my car because it “wasn’t registered”. I told her that I had already received a tow for the same car two times in the past 3 days of these issues, and she acknowledged that. I also told her that my car is still under the grace period for MA car sales (10 days) and that I had bought the car a couple days ago and the registration was in way at the RMV and that the car was insured. She refused to work with me and just kept repeating herself instead of trying to help me in an already inconvenient scenario. I then had a friend of mine who’s a premier AAA member, come by and attempt to help give me a tow where it’s a part of his membership benefits. Jocelyn then called my friends phone number after my attempt to receive a tow (pulling up information from a separate tow order), and said she was cancelling the car because she “knows it’s unregistered”. She also started to raise her voice at my friend after me being stranded for 5 hours. It was only after 10 calls that we were notified that they can do the tow without the member being on sight. I originally made my first call at 12:00PM, I finally left after 7 hours and 20 minutes of sitting around being mislead all over the place. Thanks AAA, this is what I pay money for.

Fantastic experience: I've been here 3 times and each time was pleasurable compared to the DMV. You may not register a new car but takes minutes rather than hours to use several registery services. Rhode island DMV is a nightmare, even worth it for a one time 'quickpass' for $55. Very happy when they include free notarization with membership for free when I needed it at some point.

Negative experience: Worst experience of my life. I think the teller was not helpful at all and got feeling she was prejudice against hispanics. Will never go there again was a DMV tell. Tellers in Cumberland are very helpful and sweet. I was just trying to bring plates back for my son who was deployed to Texas and turned his lease car in. I wads told to step outside in cold 3x. I finally was able to return plates left crying and she did not even warm up to a mom who was already emotional because first time my son leaves far for a long time and as a mother I was helping him out since he gave me power of attorney letter notorize that woman said she did not care very very rude. Negative experience: On or about Friday 2/5/21 AAA was called to tow a 2007 Subaru [vehicle], dead on US Rt.1. Located on the south bound side of the intersection (more or less) of US Rt.1 and Rt. 216 (Ross Hill Road) at or near Shirley Drive, Charlestown, R.I.. One single female [Aleka] was stranded and requested AAA to tow her vehicle to Fix-Rite Repair, . After an hour or so, AAA came and took the vehicle to the garage AND left this 60 wife alone on the highway; explaining that because of the pandemic AAA was NOT allowed to give her a lift, with her vehicle, even to the garage [ Aleka had a proper mask]. She had NO prior knowledge that she would need to find her own transportation On Monday 2/8-21, Aleka got a call from the garage, informing her that she needed to tow her car home; since it required too much money to be worth fixing and the garage needed the space because of the fallen snow. On or about 12:30 p.m. 2-8-21 Aleka booked AAA to pick up her vehicle and take it the 0.9 miles to her home. At NO time was she told she needed to be at the garage when AAA tow truck arrived. The Garage personnel was alerted, by her, that AAA was on the way to them. Meantime AAA informed Aleka, a few times, when they would be arriving ((at the garage)). Again, Aleka was NOT told she had to travel the insipid short distance to be at the garage, by AAA. Aleka waited outside on her front porch until nearly 3:30 p.m. with out any subsequent call from AAA. She called the garage to apologize that AAA had net yet (to her knowledge) shown up at the garage. ONLY then did she learn from the frustrated garage owner, that the AAA tow truck arrived and then left without her vehicle. She learned from the garage owner who spoke to the AAA driver, that this driver said he was waiting for Richard to show up. Richard is husband of Aleka; who are both Premium members but with different AAA card numbers. We were all bewildered why the AAA driver expected Richard ((or anyone)) to be at the garage. The garage owner phoned Aleka of this info, and was asked to give the AAA driver her 401-348-cccc home phone number to call. However, by the time the owner went back to speak with AAA, the driver had driven off. The garage owner was livid, and made the point of how dumb it was to ask/expect the owner of a NON functioning car to somehow get to the garage; which broken car was merely going to the owner’s home. This was especially disturbing, since we were that day informed, AAA’s “policy” of not given people, in need, rides. Aleka had NO ready available ride to the garage, so she called AAA to come jump start her husband’s car. Aleka asked AAA dispatch if this AAA person could also go and tow her vehicle home from the garage. NO said AAA; Aleka would have to make two individual AAA service calls. The AAA driver to jump start the car, went to the wrong house. Upon his final arrival he convinced her she had to pay some $185 for a new battery. By the time of day, on Monday 2-8-21, the car was up and running for her to make it to the garage and meet another AAA tow truck to arrive; the garage was closed. We felt that this might be the case, i.e. too late and when booking AAA for the jump start asked AAA to inform the “battery” AAA guy to please get what ever signature was needed, from Aleka, then and there, to save her the trip to the garage. AAA said NO. Note: the garage was only 0.9 miles [Google Maps] down the same road Aleka lived on. Next day 2-9-21, Aleka booked another AAA tow of her vehicle from the garage to her home; she also managed to meet the AAA tow driver at the garage. The driver delivered the non-functioning vehicle up into a plowed blacktop alcove which was just to the left of the entrance to the residential driveway. AAA did not get the vehicle as far in the alcove as desired, it was never the less not blocking the driveway entrance. AAA drove off. Date 2-13-21 the disabled vehicle parked by AAA, has moved to completely block the entire residential driveway. We are asking AAA to URGENTLY unblock our driveway.

Positive experience: Not very happy. My mom tire blew out.. Called AAA. They came no spear. So she called for a flat bed. Then she called me. Took a while for the flat bed. Finally he came by took my moms keys. All together at least 3hrs. My mom is 79 yrs old. It's a good thing I went to go get her. How would she of gotten home

Negative experience: Took me 4 calls for someone to get me in the system. Everyone was rude. Lady got angry with me said i can't hear you on speaker she was on the Normal phone mic... than my scheduling was entered with the wrong number. I had to can back 3 times after to get someone out to me. Seemed deliberate. The 2nd person never even helped. Answered left me on hold for 12 minutes. Took 45 minutes of phone call to be scheduled

Negative experience: Social security card in my correct name,tax bill,license,paycheck in my correct name.Birth certificate presented with my birth name still not enough.Marriage license presented in my correct name since 1987 not good enough because it is an abstract stamped with seal of the city and signed not good enough.Should not have needed marriage license at all unless I had social security in another name from what I read. Passport is so easy which should not be in my opinion.Feel like a criminal trying to get a renewed license at 75. AAA northeast did not contact me at all.It was all for show.I now give them 2 stars for their lie

Negative experience: Called AAA on Aug 11th, 2020 at 8:38 pm for roadside assistance as my car was broke with passenger side axle and it's in between the road blocking both side traffic. So after all the detailed questions and answers with the agent for 18 min on call. However, she was rude to me & I'm not satisfied with the service. She gave me an estimated time of wait till 8:49 pm. Nobody showed up till 09:25 pm and no message of tracker or pickup EST. Called again at 09:25 pm waited in the queue to get the update for another 13 min which is ridiculous just to get an update. The new agent said that there is no update as nobody has picked up my request so I have to wait more and I will get a text of pickup tracker. After some time out of sudden, a AAA truck showed up saying it's for me I got surprised and scared if it's for real for a scam. However, I believed in him and the truck driver had a very good knowledge of how to take care of such a situation and helped me an appropriate way in both pickup and drop off as well. Highly appreciate his help in these circumstances. But I am very disappointed with the AAA customer service. This is not the first time I have called AAA for help, but this was the worst ever. AAA's service is always perfect without any issues but this time I was not expecting such a careless service from them. I totally understand the situation with this pandemic as we follow all the rules and regulations from AAA. However, I wouldn't suggest this type of service from AAA to any of my friends and for sure I have to think before renewing my service account for next time. Please call me so that I can explain it better about this scenario to maybe improve the customer service in the future. Thank you.

Negative experience: I have been to this location 3 times for assistance in the past few months Each time I have found the person working the table to be very rude and acts as if I am bothering her by being there needing assistance I had called in to confirm what I needed before I had gotten there and what I was told on the phone was completely wrong. I had tried to explain to the person working the table out front that I had done what I was told to do by the person that I had spoken to but she didn't want to hear it. I find the people working at the registry of motor vehicles to be easier to deal with and will do so in the future.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with Dylan from the Fleet department from the Providence Fleet, after other towing companies did not or were not able to get my car in the flatbed Due to the Xdrive DYLAN went out his way on the pouring rain and was not satisfied until the job was done and the car was drop off at the mechanic safe and sound. This guys deserve a 10 STARTS. So glad he was the one that came and was able to talk To me thru all the steps he was goin got do and why. Great guy great service 100%.5 STARS! ⭐️

Negative experience: The young lady that was the DMV rep helping people was extremely rude and uninformative! There was the same issue with 4 customers before me, which made it so she could not be of any help at all. Causing myself and the 4 before me to have to go to the DMV anyway....so it was a complete waste of time to go there. Thinking you could avoid the DMV riff raff....not so much! My issue was cut and dry, proof in my hand and because it was incorrect on her and there is nothing they can do? Some people don't have the time to "just go to the DMV and they'll straighten it out". That's the whole point of going there in the first place. I never had these issues at other locations, i moved and that was the closest so i figured it'd try out. Bad idea

Negative experience: My second visit to inquire about travel protection insurance- again awful! I’ve been waiting 1 hour and a half for service! Why is there only ONE person in this entire place able to help? Terrible customer service to say the least - unbelievable

Negative experience: My experience at Providence AAA branch was poor I came in to ask two questions no direction on how or when someone would assist me even though there was no one waiting I waited 20 minutes realizing no one is assisting me I had to go ask someone to help me and wait longer neededtosregister
