Fantastic experience: I would recommend that everyone come to this AAA because of the following experience. Additionally, I can tell that his Assistant Manager, Daniel, follows the same excellent mndset as well. “Mike A”: I actually requested that he be the one assigned to take care of me, because from his first “hello” I could tell that he had the manner that would be best for me in such a distressing situation: He was kind and friendly, consistently and respectfully tolerant as well as considerate. I did not know then of his extensive knowledge in the automotive field that would end up being so helpful to me. He is outstanding and can explain things well so that someone inexperienced may get the understanding needed; and he never tired of my questions - and I had several of which I was seeking in-depth responses and his way of maneuvering through each point was impressive. I am sure some of my concerns were silly and yet he dignified me, conveying that everyone is important - how nice. Mike A is absolutely excellent. In his position as Service Advisor, he is most effective. Not only does he know how to treat customers but he knows auto inner-workings so well that he can just step you through things naturally. He very quickly builds your confidence in the team of mechanics which is important too: He is a true team-player which is key in his role. This gentleman is an asset to AAA, and because of him, I will return to this location with my vehicle(s) and recommend the location to others. He deserves the highest Kudos because of his amazing personality and his expertise, professionally presented. You at AAA can know that when you leave him on the job, your customers will be very well taken care of, whether they come distraught or irate, they will leave calm and satisfied due to Mike A - and I do not flatter or embellish, he is great. Negative experience: Totally Untrustworthy, every time I took my car there to address one issue, I had to take it back for a different problem. As if they intentionally mess with other areas in peoples car so you would go back. By now I have spent thousands of dollars in this place. I learned my lesson a little too late but, never again. Negative experience: Tanya Thornton the insurance agent was very unprofessional today. I started a policy today using her as an agent and was told that all forms needed would be sent to DMV and the declarations page would be emailed to me. I specifically told her I was going to the DMV today. She supposedly sent the DMV form over around 1:30. I called at 3:50 due to not having the declaration page in my email and was told by her that she was sending it over. Instead she completely left the building and didn’t send the declaration page. Completely neglected to complete her job”s duties which was to send me and the DMV the necessary documents needed. Her co worker was very helpful I wish I knew his name. I called the customer service line and received everything I needed in less than 2 minutes. Something she could have done when I paid the down payment and signed the documents around 1:30-1:45. I don’t recommend using her as an agent.

Negative experience: My car is battery died and wouldn't jump start, so roadside service told me to this car care center. Car care center only tested my fuse box and suggested endless further diagnostic tests until the issue is found. Claims it to be a major electrical problem. I have my car towed to a local Firestone for a second opinion and hopeful actual diagnosis. Turns out, I only needed a new battery. The car care center never tested anything other than fuses. Never even moved my car from where it was dropped off to them. And charged me $158 for nothing .. 10/10 DO NOT recommend.

Negative experience: I'll preface this by saying that this could 100% have been an isolated incident. But my experience with this shop couldn't have been worse. I inherited my car from my grandfather. It had an immaculate record, and was running perfectly fine. Then, the engine just shut off. Bummer. I get AAA to tow it to this AAA Repair Shop. First, they told me it was the throttle body. $1800. If that's what it took, fine. The car is barely worth twice that, but I'll do what I have to. Then they said it was the computer and it'd be another week and another $500. Long story short, it took them OVER A MONTH to get the car running at all. Then, they tell me 4 of 6 ignition coils had melted and there was a misfire in one of the cylinders. Now, I'm no expert...but clearly, neither are they. If my car had 4 melted ignition coils and a misfire before it stopped working, it would've spat out a check engine light and a code at some point. Keep that in mind for later. So they try to replace the fuel injector for the misfiring cylinder twice. Another week. Then they send the computer back to their rebuilder. Another week. He finds a bad solder joint. They get the computer back, put in some miles, and it's working. Great...after almost 2 months, I have my car back. THE DAY AFTER THAT, with less than 30 miles driven from the shop my check engine light comes on. Both of my catalytic converters have failed. Leading cause of that? Unburnt fuel leaking from an engine misfire/bad fuel injector. This is a problem that should've been caught, anticipated, or at least checked either by AAA techs or by the 3rd party they used. I called them and said that IF THE ISSUE was unburnt fuel clogging and destroying the catalytic converters that I'd had replaced LESS THAN TWO YEARS AGO, I demanded it be paid on their dime because it was a direct result of their/their 3rd party's incompetence. I was told "that doesn't sit well with me", but that they'd be glad to take a look at it for no charge. That's like kidnapping a child for 2 months, I pay a $2,600 ransom, and I let you know that you traumatized my child, causing more damage. Then you say you'd happily take a look at my child, then charge me to fix the damage caused. Hard NO. So I took it to a more reputable shop. Turns out, while they were holding my car for almost 2 months, charging me $2,600 for it, they also: 1. Killed both catalytic converters, causing more than $2,600 in damage 2. Missed or caused (genuinely not sure or interested which) a coolant leak, requiring my radiator to be replaced (confirmed by multiple shops). 3. Missed a crack in my exhaust, causing emissions issues. 4. Missed or caused (genuinely not sure or interested which) leaks from valve covers, both of which need to be replaced to avoid further damage to engine/exhaust system. All told, I gave this shop nearly 2 months' time with my car and $2,600. In return, they gave me a car that worked fine for ~30 miles, then needed roughly $4,000 in additional repairs, some of which were directly caused by the actions of the AAA repairmen and their 3rd party partners. And when I asked them to cover damages caused by their repairs, ONLY if it could be reasonably assumed that the damage was caused by their repairs, they told me it "didn't sit well" and they had no way of telling if it was caused by them or an older issue. They actually insinuated that having 4 melted ignition coils, one (maybe?) bad fuel injector, and a misfire, might be an older issue despite NO Check Engine light ever showing before the car stopped running. I was never angry or aggressive with anyone there. I'm sure they were only working to the best of their ability, and I appreciate that much. There's your one star. But if you're out of your league with a certain car, admit it. Don't cause nearly twice as much damage as you repair, then deny responsibility. If I operated a business like this repair shop, I would be embarrassed to the point of shutting down. I've been a AAA Gold member ever since I started driving, and I'm cancelling my membership because of this shop.

Negative experience: They did absolutely nothing to my vehicle although it was still covered under my 6yr warranty. The guy I spoke to there was rude, unknowledgable and down right insulting. They had my car for 6 days and didn't have any info on my warranty even though I purchased it through AAA roadside. I did ALL the work on providing them info they already had & when I got frustrated he refused to replace my warranty covered battery and then tried to charge me "fees" when I asked for my vehicle to be towed back to my home. Negative experience: Called in for an appointment and told the lady who answered the phone I was having problems with my power steering. I had my car towed in. Got later in the day so I wanted an estimated time. The site told me that it will be next day, thinking that the work may take that long. Over 24 hours after my appointment time they call me with their diagnostic and then says they are not capable to fix my car. I asked why did it take so long to tell me that and was told that they had a lot of cars to go through. I mentioned my appointment and was told I called the oil change line. Positive experience: The manager Mike was excellent. The mechanics, not so much. I observed them spending more time socializing and on their phones than working on my vehicle. A simple oil change and inspection took 2 hrs. and I had an appointment. All the men, except one, were gathering around talking about what, I don't know. There was one young African American male that did more work than all of them put together. As an AAA member for over 30 years and my first visit to an AAA car care center, I was definitely disappointed in my first and last experience.

Negative experience: Vehicle not repaired properly and must return to correct. Service was to replace a gasket so oil would not be leaking on alternator. Shame on me for not insisting the car be checked before I left location. The engine light displayed on dash when I started car after the engine repair was completed. I witnessed how the engine light can be reset as if there are no other engine problems. I was told to bring back if engine light displays on dash. On my way to work hours later the same day engine starts to skip and engine light is on dash.

Negative experience: Took my minivan to check the tires as I suspected an air leak as I had to fill up every 2 weeks. They took an hour to look at it but found nothing. They just provided quotes for new tires. Took it to BJs tires service and within 5 mins they found the nail and patched it. Negative experience: These people had terrible customer service and are bold face liars. If I could give them zero stars, it’d still be too much. My car was towed to them via third party AAA driver on a Wednesday evening. The next day, I went to drop my keys off and the front desk clerk informed me that more than likely it will not be touched unless they had time. Cool. I was then told they would get to it on Friday for sure. I said that would be fine. Friday comes, no one called me the entire day. I finally called at 3:30 for an update and was told now they wouldn’t get to my vehicle until Monday. Not only did they not communicate their intention to push my vehicle’s service behind, this “man” also proceeded to argue me down! He became insistent that he didn’t set that expectation of time, making me sound like I was making it up. Negative experience: Been here prior but today they were unprofessional and this should be unacceptable for such a big company. Dropped my truck off at 11am for a 1 hour oil change. Called around 2pm to find out if it was ready. Was told it would be done by 3:45pm. Showed up at 4:15pm, and got my car back at 5:15pm. I missed my prior scheduled engagement. Fantastic experience: My AAA rep was great. The shop was top notch. He communicated with me, charged little labor. All of the parts hadn't arrived & it had been 3 days. Apparently the holdup was with FedEx. The parts were in Raleigh, just 2hrs away. By Fri. I had to pay a car rental from Hertz at $75/day (the 1st/last time I'll use them.) Hertz needs much improvement! They were 15 min away & said they'd pick me up but didn't. It was now 4:30 pm. AAA got me a Lyft to Hertz! On the phone, Hertz said I'd have a choice of cars, but when I got there, they said they only had one base level Corolla. There were dozen of other cars on their lot. How could all of these cars be unavailable? I got to Hertz well before 5pm & their phone rang. I heard the manager tell his employee not to answer it. They closed at 6pm. This is no way to run a business.

Negative experience: Stay away from this place. They overbook, claiming that you have an "appointment," only to have your car sit in their lot for most of the day. Then, they incorrectly (intentionally or not, who knows) misdiagnose your issue. They charged me over 1k to fix an oil leak that, 3 weeks later, still leaks "residual" oil. Stay especially far away from Mike Alexander, in service, who moves like a sloth and  has zero people skills.

Negative experience: My son called Triple A Battery 4 days ago because his car wouldn’t start. They sent a battery specialist who ONLY deals with batteries and that person told my son his battery didn’t need to be replaced it was was at 98%. Fast forward to today-it needs a new battery and positive terminal and wiring totaling around $350. Also , they told him that he needed an alignment and he just got one FROM THEM 3 weeks ago, b/c they told him he needed one then. Apparently, the technicians always put that as a “reminder”. So who’s to say he needed the one 3 weeks ago? They don’t even look at that unless that’s what your car is brought in for! They told me to disregard what THEIR colleague-the battery “specialist” said. To me, these are misleading, deceitful sales tactics designed to upcharge unknowing customers. Then they tell my son to pick his car up because it’s “ready” but don’t know if it will even start… this was the worst experience! Truly disappointed in Triple A.

Fantastic experience: I arrived without an appointment because I was having trouble starting the vehicle and I did not want to turn it off in case it would not start up again. They quickly took the car in for diagnosis and determined a new battery was needed. I was soon on my way again after only waiting fir a few minutes. Great service!

Fantastic experience: Dave Fuge helped me with my service. He was amazing. He listened to my issues and responded professionally and pleasantly ( two qualities that are rare these days). I am somewhat of a car guy and was relieved to have someone that was a trained professional car expert working on my car, not just some guy with a job, like most places. Not sure who the technician was but the work performed was excellent, completed when I was told, and didn't hit me with the usual extra expensive "emergencies" associated with most garages. Fantastic experience: Tire blew out on I-77 on a Friday night - actually AAA towing was miserable - took hours. However, they took car to this shop and I talked to Mike the following Monday morning - from afar we worked out the car did need two tires and an alignment - all done in just a couple of hours and car ready to pick up. Still have body work to deal with but much appreciated their getting the car back on the road so quickly.

Negative experience: I set up appointment for oil change, fluids topped(washer fluid) air filters to be changed and wheel alignment. Called the particular branch to get a quote on everything to be done and the oil change process, where I was told that during the oil change the tires are looked at to be rotated, balanced and or aligned as well as other request that I’ve selected to be done via online. Got the car and only thing was done was the oil change that’s it. It’s like nobody took time to look at request from online and rushed thru my work order due to appointment being set @4:30 pm on Friday and employee’s purposely committed to hurrying thru work order and ignored the fact I wanted to get a wheel alignment with new air filter as well.
