Fantastic experience: I am new to this area and needed to file my taxes, so I found Sea Tax on google. I was gravitated by their exceptional reviews and loyal customers. As many of the other reviews stated, it was a bit of a wait to be seen, but it was well worth it! I arrived at 10:15 am with hopes I would beat the crowd, but there were people already waiting (given it was April 12th), making me roughly 5th in line. The receptionists were very respectful and gave me updates when asked. I was seen by 4pm and was assisted by Nelson. He explained my situation and helped me get my max refund. Everyone was personable, helpful, and respectful. I will definitely use them in the future!

Negative experience: Please avoid this location. Extremely unorganized and unprofessional, they do not offer appointments and do a poor job at enforcing “first come first serve” system. I came here on 2/2/23 and feel like I wasted my time. After sitting and waiting to even get called on and seeing them take people that arrived after I did, I left (they didn’t even notice).
Hello Ms. Escobar, My name is Nelson Zavaleta, owner of Sea Tax Service and Associates firm. First, I would like to apologize for the bad experience you had with our office during your visit. Next I would like to explain the reason for our " NO APPOITMENT POLICY". In regards to our policy; during the peak time of tax season is hard to keep up with clients when they don't show up at a specific time of appointment, so we prefer to serve as they come in. In your feedback, you have mention that we are extremely unorganized and unprofessional! I can tell you that we have work with our clients for over 25 years with no complaints about this policy! We have served thousands of clients every year, and all of our clients are returned clients, in fact, they have recommended referrals every year, we have earned the trust of our customers with our hard work, we even have clients that had moved to different states and they still work with us. We have no control over all the clients talking and walking around the office, they feel like there are all one family. I understand that someone who is new to our office may feel uncomfortable and see this from a different perspective, and it could look like we are not professionals as you mention in your feedback. Second, you need to understand that " WE DO NOT FORCE NOBODY TO WAIT AND/OR VISIT OUR OFFICE FOR ANY SERVICE" as you also mention in your feedback, that's not correct! many clients come and dropp their documents let us work with their tax return, and comeback on a different day to pick up their file, this is the trust that our clients has with our firm. We are here to help everyone equally as they arrived, if someone decides to wait hours in our office, is because they already know the quality work that we provide to everyone, so again my apologies if we were not able to meet your expectations in your first visit. We have different types of income and it's quite complicated filing but having found this place gives us such peace of mind and we always end up with a great return! Negative experience: I called to get in contact about getting a copy of my taxes, the lady who answered did not know how to speak at all she told me they would give me a call back they didn’t, I had to call back. ON TOP OF IT THEY WANT 25$ FOR A COPY OF TAXES THAT I PAID 100$ TO BE PROCESSED. DO NOT COME HERE THEY TRY TO GET WHATEVER MONEY THEY CAN OUT OF PEOPLE
To the Public: Nelson, an owner of this firm we have thousands of satisfied clients that have prepared their taxes for years and years, I have personally spoke to Ms. Claudia Perez, who was demanding copy of her prior year tax return. I explained to her that for security reason we can not email personal and confidential information according to circular 230 stablished by the IRS. I also mention that our fees to re-print prior taxes are $25.00 per set, as we have to go into our prior year files and prepare to re-print. About our fees, we are not even half way of the competitor prices. I understand that not all clients likes to pay for services that they received, even after received professional service from our firm. Please see most of our clients reviews left, to see how they appreciate the services. We are professionals tax preparer firm, that has served our community for more than 25 years. I am very sorry for you Claudia, if you left a negative review, just because did not get what you demanded, I'll be happy to get you a free copies of your prior year tax return if you visit our office, and personally speak with me.
