Negative experience: THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST BUS STATION !!! Bus was late for over an hour. No care for their customers at all !! The guy at the booth was only focused on his phone. He didn’t bother apologizing for the wait or let alone let people know the bus was running late. All they care about is money !!!!! Very horrible ! You’re better off looking for another bus station in the area. At least they be on time unlike this bus station !!!!! Never again !!!

Positive experience: Could be cleaner

Negative experience: Awful bus service! Used to be a pretty good deal but now it’s $20 each way between New York and Philadelphia. The staff is quite rude and there is always someone talking loudly on the phone. Don’t sit in the last 4 rows, or you will smell unpleasant bathroom odors the whole time. There’s technically usb outlets but they sometimes don’t work or they are really loose and your charger will fall out.

Fantastic experience: Inexpensive way to travel from Philadelphia to New York 6 times per day

Negative experience: Disgusting buses and bus station. The bus station bathroom was somehow even grosser than the bus one which is a first. There is neither toilet paper or soap/hand sanitizer in either bathroom. The kicker is that despite the complete disregard for sanitation the bus driver will not allow you to bring a drink on the bus and now they are charging 18 dollars a ticket (it was 8 dollars two years ago).

Fantastic experience: Very hospitable

Positive experience: Fast travel if you want to go from Philadelphia to New York City. And when you want to return. Downside is that you have to wait for two hours for the next bus. Other than that, one ticket is eighteen dollars. Nice deal.

Negative experience: This bus should not be running, there’s no heat on the bus and my 2 year daughter is on here coughing , the bathroom looks hazardous and none functional, the employees are not welcoming

Negative experience: I used to be very loyal to Focus Travel bus before the pandemic and before their price increase from $12 to $18. Today the bus was 45 minutes late, the outlets didn’t work, and the air conditioning didn’t work. Since they cost as much as Peter Pan now and are less reliable, they are no longer worth the money.

Positive experience: Gd price, usually 2hr ride. Always leave ontime.

Positive experience: Reliable more then it's competitors hours were cut due to that pandemic use to run every hour now runs every 3 hours. Arrive early great service.

Negative experience: Their bus never on time always comes late.

Positive experience: $18 each way between NYC and Philly, can’t be beat. Be on time as the bus driver will depart within the minute and will not wait for you! Plus you’ll get a better seat if you arrive early, we were the last ones on and had to sit next to the bathroom. Make sure you don’t need to use that bathroom :)

Positive experience: Fast trip.95 mins from NYC to Philly.But more expensive now . $18 for the ride .They don't run every hour as before either .But it left right on time

Negative experience: The bus and their bathrooms are always dirty. Also, they don't do social distancing at all, as they would really force you to sit with someone else next to you, until they fill up the bus. I don't see the point of them increasing their price either. It's really not worth it to pay for a dirty and uncomfortable environment.

Negative experience: The bus from NY is always late, sometimes 45-60 minutes. They don't even keep you posted or apologize.

Positive experience: It takes from point A to point B I am happy.

Fantastic experience: $18 From NY to PA . I wouldn't say the buses are of top quality service. No Wifi. They have so that you can plug your phone to charge. If you have a usb-c to usb-c cable - then forget about it . Bring your own power bank. Decent service.

Negative experience: They claim that there is wifi on the bus but that is a lie, they are lying to attract customers. Bus smells and drivers are always on the phone while driving. Not safe.

Negative experience: Their voicemail claims the bus is running every hour. It is definitely not the case due to the decreasing travel of COVID. Be sure you call advance to confirm and definitely don't trust the voice mail system

Positive experience: Nice and convenient place, I like where they are located I can buy my ticket and still be able to get some tasty food and snacks for the trip. I just wish they would add more destinations but overall its pretty good.

Positive experience: Everything on time, even early, got to the 1st stop in NY in 1.5 hours from Philly. On the way back I was early and given a seat on the 6 pm bus even though my ticket was for 7. No running water in restroom, somebody had placed a bottle of water there to rinse your hands. Flush worked though. Also, no AC power, could not keep laptop charged.

Negative experience: It was good and cheap but bus drivers are rude , staff is rude , i waited 6:45 for my 6pm bus in the cold because to many people couldnt fit on the bus but for 12$ i went to philly from ny so u cant beat that

Negative experience: Was late twice and made a bunch of people wait out in the pouring rain. Never happened before witch is why its 2 stars and not one star.

Fantastic experience: Cheap Chinese bus to NY. Clean toilets and sitting area. Million times better than Megabus or boltbus standing area. Warm and cozy here. Dunkin Donuts nearby. Even standing in queue here is nice as the area is well covered.

Positive experience: Lowest prices around, but no ventilation on bus (mouth breathers everwhere)

Negative experience: Awfull experience, the bus is old and very small. They said that they have wifi and is a lie, the personal speak very bad english and have a bad disposicion with the passangers. If you want to travel, i reccomend dont use this awfull company

Negative experience: Philly store has terrifying front desk counter service. They told me only accept cash. Then I found there are ticket machine there to take credit card. When I requested to pay by credit card instead, they now insisted to charge me $2 for the fee! Avoid the bad manner cashiers by all means. Buy the ticket online. In person, buy it through credit card payment machine at store. The bus often not on schedule. The bus is fine. The Staffs are not pleasant.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. Came 30 mins early , bought my ticket and then waited to board. After 11 minutes after the scheduled departure time, i decided to ask the front desk where the bus was and if it was late, about how long till it gets here. The guy told me that I had missed the bus. Apparently the bus picks up on another block not directly in front of the building. How i was supposed to know that, GoD in heavens alone knows. He seemed more angry that i had the nerve to ask " you couldn't have gave me a lil shout and be like dude your bus is here" .

Negative experience: They didn't provided restroom properly, at travel office. The bus was shutting down the ac when it was so hot felt like out of air, last Sunday on Nov 10 2019 at 3 pm departure from New York to Philly. The driver talked out loud Cantonese all the way from New York to Philadelphia. For the better service need some inspections.

Negative experience: Spend a couple of extra dollars and take a different line Bus dirty and cold Zero warning the bus was 1 hour late and when enquire they were incredibly rude

Negative experience: Bus was disgusting, bags of trash, bottles rolling around and that was how it was when we got on. Bathroom was unusable. Really, scary dirty. Not worth saving a dollar or 2 but wind up with mersa. Drivers were rude when I asked where the bus to Philadelphia was (@median). Staff barely spoke English, bus scheduled at 9 but left 20 minutes early. 5 star ratings are all likely employees or paid for.

Negative experience: I want to say you get what you pay for, put this is not even worth it. We purchased ticket to Philly online the day before, arrive 15m before the schedule. They said the bus will be 30mins late. Fine. We wait in the lobby and later realize you are supposed to line up out side waiting for the bus (they did not even tell you, a random passenger saw us sitting in the lobby was kind enough to tell us to go line up or else we will not be able to get a seat) so we did. Bus arrived 50min late. There was a guy who walked around and assign everyone seat number and we got the very last 2 seats after a bunch of people who just showed up and bought the ticket on the spots because we did not wait outside in the line early enough. When we got to the bus turned out the guys miscounted, so all seats were full. So they asked us to leave the bus, go back to the line and wait for the next one for another 30mins. So if that is the type of experience you are looking for, look no further, or else try to spend a few extra bucks to save yourself from the hassle.

Negative experience: On the 9am bus the bathroom is disgusting. Stinks, toilet doesn't flush, no TP, no hand gel. They advertise Wi-Fi but there is none. On the late bus the ticket center was dirty, poor directions on where to find the bus, the bus is full if trash, empty bottles etc..unbeleivable!!

Negative experience: Was here during the week of Pride. Purchased my tickets in advance online and they canceled my bus and every bus after. They had con artist waiting around who knew the buses were never coming attempting to offer people rides home at $50 or more playing off of their desperation to get home. They left more than 50 people stranded that night and NEVER issued refunds or new tickets. I have never been back or ordered their services online since and neither should you especially on a night or evening where services out of your departure state may be limited. Such buisiness practices jeopardize the safety of passanger! In all of my years of catching buses from China Town in Philly or NY this particular experience was the worst and last I'll ever have with such companies.

Positive experience: These get they have reasonable prices to travel from New York to Philadelphia for only like $25 it's better than taking Amtrak and it still has air conditioning and they get their relatively by 2 hours location is 11th Street downtown Philadelphia

Positive experience: Cheaper fare to NY. Also the bus ride is quicker than others. I travel to NY and back to PA. Best thing about focus travel is that they are punctual with departure as scheduled.

Negative experience: DONT BLINDLY BUY A TICKET YOU WILL SUFFER. On a 90 degree day drenched in humidity, the driver from NYC to Philly refused to turn on the A/C until every seat was full and he closed the baggae compartment. 60 people building heat in a completely closed bus with no ventilation whatsoever, people yelling "i think im going to pass out" and the driver responded "$2000 for idling. $2000" as of it's necessary to idle the engine to turn on at least THE FAN. Lying to everyone as we suffered with a face of absolute disgusted contempt as if he were driving 60 convicted fellons to philly. The heat was absolutely dangerous. What this company does is let people get drenched in sweat and then ONLY TURNS ON THE FAN for the entire ride, nearly promoting cheers of relief when it is turned on The A/C was never turned on. im usually freezing everywhere always - on this ride now in a tank top and shorts, it feels like my head is going to explode in heat. If youve experienced the same, call 311 right now and file a complaint. We should all do the same, this is inhumane.

Positive experience: By looking at their office, you'd assume that they provide terrible service, but the buses are quite convenient and comfortable. Better than Greyhound or Peter pan for sure.

Positive experience: Focus Travel aka the chinese bus as it is known on the street (but not in a bad way). I would give it 4 stars but the staff don't "speak english" or speak at all. This is the cheapest way to get from Philly to NYC or NYC to Philly. Service is good and punctual. Don't expect luxary. I admit I am a repeat client.
