Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at AAA Culver City, today, I had to write. Shout out to "Jackie," who was so energetic, late in the day, womaning her station near the door, but also running around asking people if they wanted water. I mean, she was happy, pleasant, and somewhat insistent, "Sir! Would you like some water? Cold or room temperature?" I said, "cold," thank you. Then, she asks me -- while I was waiting in a line that was moving rather slowly -- why I was there -- and when I told her "VIN Verification" (not bragging, but I just bought a 718 Porsche Spyder -- in Mechanicsburg, Virginia -- shout out to Eldar and Josh -- paid $150,000 cash money -- it's good to be financially stable in one's older age - 75), she re-directed me to the CA Highway Patrol and had me take a picture of their address on my phone). I'll get the VIN verification tomorrow. (OK, I was bragging; but driving a Porsche is a true thrill ride and the mortgage on my $4 million dollar house has been paid off for a few years now.)

Negative experience: Horrific customer service from girl with foot attachments. I bet that was karma! ManAger did Nothing about it and just allowed her to be rude to customers or members as we are referred to. Maybe not expectation for good service is a better solution so you don’t have to assist members finish a transaction.

Negative experience: Travel agents are awful. Bluff their way through transactions and make you believe they are working on your behalf. Not true. Beware.

Negative experience: Today I went in and did a simple change of ownership and asked for a simple 30 day extension because somebody stole my catalytic converter and was told to speak to the manager she told me I needed to go get a smog check and pay for failed results. So I drove my van to the smog station without a catalytic converter, almost catching it on fire because the manager told me she wouldn’t give me an extension without a smog and so I tried to do what she said, and brought her results that show the vehicle is not passing smog, and they still wouldn’t give me my extension. They have no clue what they’re doing. They have no clue how the law works And you would think the manager knows these things. Stay as far away from this place as you can they don’t have a clue what they’re doing specially the manager.. Absolute nightmare I had the worst experience with this place if I can give them 10 zeros that would give them 10 zeros. it is 100% their discretion if they want to give you a simple 30 day extension it’s really no big deal you’re not asking for anything illegal you’re just asking for a simple 30 day extension because so many people are getting their catalytic converter stolen and can’t afford to fork out thousands and they just don’t get it better yet. They just don’t care whatsoever like I said stay away from this place go to any other AAA, but stay away from this place. Trust me.!!!

Negative experience: 10+ AAA member. After waiting 2 hours for a tow, called and asked if another tow service was available. AAA canceled my original request and ended up having to wait 6+ hours for service. Hopefully Uber will add a tow service and give AAA some needed competition

Negative experience: The call center has very poor customer service once it's getting close to closing. They answer the phone ask how they can help and hang up acting like the phone disconnected. Very unprofessional

Fantastic experience: I was recommended by Friend ‘s to get AAA membership and car insurance. I did. I’m leaving a comment to say how amazing the customer service was. I spoke to Steven and he was professional, informative and kind person to work with over the phone.

Negative experience: purchased what i thought was a family membership to the aquarium of the pacific by nicole at aaa and was assured that that's what i purchased when in fact it was a dual membership. when i arrived at the aquarium i had to pay the difference (discount not applied)

Negative experience: The absolute worst service I have ever received. The service is so bad, I’m actually looking at other options through my insurance company. AAA is a joke and highly overrated. I have not had any good experiences every time I have requested roadside assistance. Once this problem is handled, they lost this customer forever.

Fantastic experience: I came in to renew my registration, expecting service similar to the DMV but I was blown away at the incredible customer service and efficiency! Highly recommend if you are a AAA member - Never going to the DMV again!

Fantastic experience: As a new driver, I was a little intimidated at the thought of car insurance. But AAA has been so helpful. Especially at this location. I was able to transfer the title on my car and get my stickers in half an hour :D including the wait time! So glad I went with them.

Fantastic experience: Went to pay for car registration which was done on few minutes, then went to take out my ex from my policy which somehow got added this year. My yearly insurance was 1600 I paid few payments and balance is in higher 800. When the agent took ex name out policy amount went to 2000, when I asked her how did this happened, she said no changes. I have last months papers, now I will go Friday with old papers to show and get it fixed. "Update ". Fixed the mixup.

Negative experience: Checked in for insurance and sat waiting. Watched crowds of people come and go and there i sat. I finally decided to go to a different location with better reviews because I felt hopeless at this location. I went back to the person who checked me in and who I had been sitting across the entire time. She had no idea who I was, asked if I was checked in already then said you are not Jose. I was so disgusted. I will never go to this location again and am reconsidering why I pay for AAA services.

Negative experience: AAA offers a great service. What makes this office difficult is the high volume of customers coupled with insufficient number of employees. The wait was 2 1/2 hours when I went. DMV actually takes less time.

Negative experience: This office is the worst customer service including the Manager Emily. Lack of professionalism. The front agent has better skills and outstanding communication skills. How sad this office used to so great and pleasant to work.

I always get what I need and the wait is not that bad. It’s definitely longer now because of the pandemic but if you get there a little before they open to start lining up or right when they open, you won’t have to wait too long.

Negative experience: The receptionist was very rude I came back 3+ times the first time I waited in line for almost 2 hours just to be told that they couldn’t help me because they close at 5 and the next time they told me they could not help me because the registration was suspended and then they finally told me that in order to surrender the plates that I needed my partner to be there. I speak and understand Spanish more and they told me every single time that there was someone that spoke Spanish that could help me so that my partner did not have to come inside as well. I find it very discriminatory that everyone else that spoke English fluently came and went while I seemed to be pushed to the side. PLEASE DO BETTER!

Fantastic experience: I just got vaccinated and luckily just in time to register my car. AAA did a great job to keep the public safe with a line outside limited amount of people to enter the building and while in side had a sign for disinfected pens ️ hand disinfectant and plexy glass dividers. The personnel is always helpful and courteous. I felt very safe and comfortable.

If you have AAA, they do out of state registrations for CA and while there was a bit of a wait, there is someone outside helping people on the line fill out their paperwork while they wait. Fantastic experience: In light of everything related to modifying operations during this Pandemic, AAA is still doing one heck of a job. The wait might be a little longer but they get the job done.

Negative experience: Don't believe them when they tell you you can come to the office to get something taken care of. Make sure they have as much information as possible before letting them tell you to come in. I waited an hour and a half in line after calling to verify they could take care of my issue only for them to tell me I have to go to the DMV instead.

Negative experience: Wow! I literally call in to just to get a quote. A male rep asks for my address after a long and awkward silence. I gave him my zip code and said that I didn’t want to give out personal information I’m just shopping around and he automatically hangs up on me. I guess AAA has never had anyone shop for insurance. Well AAA, it’s a thing that people do, so get with the program.

Negative experience: Checked in with my phone #, immediately get a text saying my wait time will be ZERO minutes. There were 8 people in line & now, after 30 mins, there are 6 - and that's because 1 guy left! This MIGHT be worse than the DMV... I've been to many AAA offices over the years & never had to wait more than 10 minutes for anything! Seriously, do you only have 1 person working? I'm giving you 15 more minutes...

Fantastic experience: They were so instantly helpful! I had a weird situation because of a screw up from thr DMV, and they were polite and quick to help me get it fixed. (Honestly, I'd not dealt with the problem for way longer than Inshould have, because I didn't want to deal with the DMV, so I was thrilled when I found out they could help me.) I'd highly recommend them, and intend to go back. They also seemed to be doing great with Covid safety.
