Negative experience: (A Beautiful View) Worst cabin management I've experienced in my 5 visits to broken bow. Fireplace was not working in the winter, outdoor fireplace would not stay on more than 10 minutes, laundry dryer was not working. Maintenance team has no real explanation or fix for the issues but indicated that there was a known issue with the dryer. Management only response was did we call the right number, of course we did....they came to the house. They really need to get their stuff together because I feel sorry for the next people that stay there behind us with the same issues. To add to that their directv package is a joke, no sport channels, hbo, showtime, or anything people want. Main tv was locked from using Netflix or any streaming service. Not worth the hassle, when their are better providers
Fantastic experience: 6 families and tons of children..this cabin was PERFECT. Cabins are managed by the most wonderful and attentive staff. We had an issue and someone was sent straight away. As well as, this house and outdoor space was absolutely perfect. Our group will be returning to this cabin until we outgrow it, however we will continue to use Broken Bow Cabin Lodging to find our yearly getaway cabin.

Cal's Cottage is a very nice cabin in a good location. All of our cabins are walked through and inspected inside and outside prior to any stay. There were no reports of a smell or issue by House keeping or maintenance. Also, no other reports of a smell have been reported before this stay or after. Guests did in fact stay at the cabin for a 5 night stay and used all of the amenities provided. Any and all expressed concerns were addressed immediately and no issues could be found. Therefore, a demand of a full refund for a 5 night stay is excessive and borders on the legal stipulations of defrauding an Innkeeper. An error of the excessive clean pictures for the cabin were sent to the wrong guest and was resolved immediately and we apologized. That being said, stating publicly that Broken Bow Cabin Lodging is a quote (Very shady management company!) opens the guest to a legal allegations of Libel and or Defamation. We take all complaints very seriously and investigate them thoroughly. Whereas we are disappointed that the guest didn't feel that their stay was perfect, we did not find any evidence of the complaint as stated and have in fact had guests back to back in that same cabin with no complaints.

Positive experience: We had a nice relaxing time! We stayed almost a week and loved the hot tub option at Sleepy Fox. Only downfall is the road going in and out of the area. It's very rough and large pot holes along the way. Be careful & watch out for them. Nice throw back town!

Negative experience: My family and I stayed at the Bear Lodge for about a week. The area was nice; however, we came back home with bed bugs. It is such a horrible thing to go through; especially, after a trip. They were not helpful or nice about the situation at all. My husband sent them several pics with proof and the woman on the phone was defensive, non apologetic, and called it "mosquito bites." At the age of 50, trust me I know the difference between a bite from a mosquito and bed bugs. It is costing us $1,000 to have our home treated; such a disappointing experience. Do not recommend.
We were contacted by you after your stay via email. All emails were responded to and we took the complaint seriously. We apologized for the frustration and stated that you and your group should seek medical care and that we would call a third party pest control to inspect the cabin. We have yet to receive any medical confirmation of bed bug bites. We called a third party pest control company to inspect the cabin. Upon a thorough inspection, the pest control company representative brought the report to our office. There was no sign of bed bugs or bed bug activity. The report was scanned and emailed to you with an explanation that there was in fact No bed bugs. Therefore no compensation would be given. We are a rural, wooded area and there are numerous bugs in the outdoors that could have resulted in the welts shown in the pictures which we explained to you. These could have been caused by mosquito bites, chigger bites, or any number of other things while enjoying the outdoor activities we are known for. This is a fraudulent complaint and could be considered slanderous and or libelous.
Fantastic experience: Rented a house for the weekend. Super nice! The whole neighborhood basically consist of nice rental houses. I left behind an item and I called the office while I was still in town. Whoever was on the phone tried really hard to get in touch with housekeeping so I could recover it before I left but I was too late. She was so nice though and I appreciate her effort nonetheless. I'll just have to get it mailed. Highly recommend these cabins. Showers were incredible. Just make sure you clean up after yourself ect. Follow all the instructions on checkout and you should be fine.

Negative experience: You could hear music from a local bar within an earshot. The biggest problem I have is the fact they charge $100 FOR A DAMAGE FEE THAT IS NONREFUNDABLE regardless if you do damage or not. There’s $100 added right to the top of your bill, no matter what. That feels, like we are being bamboozled. I would rather pay more money and not have something HIDDEN to deal with after I’ve got back home from vacation.
Hi Bobby, the damage WAIVER is part of the reservation and is disclosed when booking. We hate this is necessary but to avoid charging every little item damaged, most companies opt for a damage waiver. I hope you enjoyed your stay and the cabin and will consider returning in the future.
Positive experience: We enjoyed an amazing relaxing weekend at The Happy Cabin! The rooms have plenty of room. The kitchen is huge! Hot tub, patios, and fire pit are perfect for relaxing and spending time with family and friends. The poop table was a huge hit for our group. We most definitely will be back!

Fantastic experience: We had the absolute best time at Hidden Pond Lodge! It was our second time there and we loved it even more than the first time! The string lights outside were the perfect touch! HPL is one of our very favorite places! As we were leaving our kids were already asking when we could come back! Thank y’all so much for having such a wonderful place for our family to create so many great memories!!

Negative experience: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Came to broken bow with my daughter for spring break, rented this “cabin” Sugar Haus. To start with I received so many emails from the management company. One ten minutes after booking saying it was cancelled because they needed documents. I called the company and poor girl on phone said they were overwhelmed and they had been asking management company to make changes, everyone is complaining. So, got her everything she needed. There were not clear directions to place. For there and code would not work for the door. Called and it took several times to connect with someone. Waited for 30 minutes for someone to come and open door. While I was waiting I notice bird poop on door. Dirty exterior, missing cushions. Lots of wasps and a band aids in the hot tub. Once I’m inside, there are hairs on the bed, floor, counters, tub everything is dirty! Took several calls and management company sent someone out. This lady reeked of some type of drug and was really rude. Tried to tell me that it was clean. Was very combative, and did not clean, just left. I’m sitting on the porch waiting for a resolution, keep trying the management company and up com, a security guy saying that the management company wanted to kick me out! It was a terrible day, and I could not believe they would be as unprofessional as they were. They claim that they are luxury cabins with the luxury experience, there was nothing luxury about it! I stay at Airbnb all the time, and I will absolutely never stay at this place again. Worst customer service I’ve EVER experienced.
We are disappointed things didn't work out. It was a brand new lock. As you can see, we had staff available as soon as possible to assist and correct any and all issues. Unfortunately Terry was not accepting of the assistance. Because of her combative behavior, we decided to give her a full refund instead of having issues with the reservation all weekend. She would not leave. Terry thought cabin was so bad but she would not leave! Our staff had to remain at the property (along with security) until after 9pm when she finally left. FYI: The housekeeping manager left to go get cleaning supplies and bedding and Terry knew that or maybe she didn't hear the housekeeping manager because she was on the phone with her VRBO friend, threw her hand up to the manager, turned her back and walked away. The cabin is several miles from our office. It takes time to get to and from the cabin. This was spring break and traffic was heavy. I'd also like to add the cabin is pet friendly and she had 2 pets with her. They were registered. This is not the experience we expect. While issues do occur, we do what we can to rectify them. Rarely, but sometimes things don't work out. This is one of them.
Negative experience: Boondock Ridge Our cabin was beautiful. We loved the space. We chose this cabin because of its 2 outdoor and 1 indoor gas fireplaces. However, none of our fireplaces worked. We called maintenance and were told they were "out of order". This was not told to us ahead of arriving and maintenance didn't come out to fix. We also had a ceiling fan hanging from a board that was coming off the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. Downstairs there was a toilet that constantly ran. We would remove the lid to stop the constant running. When replacing the lid it caught the edge and cracked the tank. We immediately reported to maintenance and the office. Maintenance never responded. The day we left we were charge over $500 for the toilet and no concessions were made for other issues. I have called to talk to management and was told by their office that the best they could do was credit me back the $100 damage waiver.
We are very disappointed you had issues with the fireplaces. The fireplaces are gas and by law we can only do certain things to repair them. A licensed person has to repair them. We were not contacted about the toilet running until after it was broken. We would have gladly come out to assist you. The crack was the entire front busted out in a v shape about 10" across! The cost to replace the broken toilet was the amount billed. It's very unfortunately for everyone when things get broken.
Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful girls trip. Loved the large porch area, outdoor dining, and hot tub. Cabin was roomy and cozy enough for us to visit either in living area or around the large dining table. This cabin has it all! We’ll be back. Highly recommend Leave It Behind.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had such a fantastic time here. It was a much needed vacation. We stayed in the Daydreamer cabin and it was immaculate. Wonderful fireplaces, an amazing bathtub, and the hot tub was to die for. Thank you for a perfect experience. We can't wait to be back! After reading other reviews, I'd like to point out that I cleaned the entire cabin before checking out. All trash was taken out, I even washed and folded the towels we used. I sure hope we don't get an email saying we owe them money because we definitely left the cabin looking basically the same as when we arrived, aside from the bed since it needs to be washed anyway.

Negative experience: Our experience with Midnight Moon cabin with Broken Bow Cabin Lodging My spouse, my 2 pocket beagles and myself just spent 3 nights at this cabin. We've been visiting Broken Bow for over 20 years and have never had a negative experience, until now. Day 1. The fireplaces inside and out would not work. Maintenance came and discovered we were extremely low on propane. There is no hot water except in the shower. I ripped a hole in a sock due to a nail exposed in the doorway of the bathroom. The light in the shower doesn't work. There is no closet or rod of any kind to hang clothes. Day 2. After many complaints to management, a propane service showed up to fill the propane tank. He discovered it was tagged as Do Not Fill. This indicated to him there is a leak somewhere. He agreed to fill the tank but had to test the whole house for leaks. No leaks discovered. The fireplaces still won't work. Another maintenance guy shows up to repair the non-working fireplaces. He couldn't fix them. At this time we discovered you can get hot water in other areas of the house as long as the shower is running. The maintenance man bled the hot water heater but it still didn't fix it. Day 3 A maintenence man fixed the fireplace in the house, but not the button on the wall that is supposed to run the fireplace. In order to operate the fireplace we had to reach into the fireplace itself to turn the knot on and off. We feared getting burned, but we're able to use it. Still another maintenance man came ro repair the outside fireplace, but didn't have any luck. As this last maintenance man was leaving, we watched him back out. His front driver's side tire was locked up, he continued dragging a pretty large trench down the driveway. We figured out that the shower light will work if other lights in the house are on. Day 4. We left Through all this, we had many upsetting phone calls with the office. They wanted us to contact maintenance and the maintenance supervisor. We even went to the office in an attempt to talk to a manager as no manager would call us back. Finally heard from the office manager on the afternoon of day 3. She was to talk to the owner and get back to us. We.haven't heard back. The cabin is near the highway so lots of road noise. It has 3 dollar store quality pictures and nothing else in the way of decor. Dirt dobbers inside the house. Due to the many comings and goings of maintenance, we didn't feel safe to leave.our dogs at the cabin. No blinds of any kind.on the home, and with maintenence in and out.. All of this limited our activies in Hochatown and disrupted our rest and relaxation. 10 out of 10 would not recommend. Question. If this cabin has ever been mopped, wouldn't the mop have snagged on the e posed nail?? Got a phone call from management today. They stated there is nothing they can do as it was not their fault.

Fantastic experience: My husband, 3yr old son and I stayed at the Happy Ever After cabin. Everything was great! The cabin is located in the Hochatown area, it was our first time visiting Oklahoma and we couldn't have picked a better spot. It was in a secluded culdesac and it was so peaceful but at the same time its close to everything in town. I wouldn't change anything about it, it was beautiful and we really loved it. We had an amazing experience! Thank you :)

Fantastic experience: My wife and I stayed at the Rowdy Racoon in late October. It was absolutely wonderful. Perfect size cabin for just the 2 of us. It was so peaceful. The bed was firm but comfortable. The pond had a beautiful colored fountain which added to the serenity. The hot tub was just what we needed after a day of exploring. Cabin was easy to find and close to town, without feeling close to town. Check in and check out process could not have been easier! We will be back!!

Negative experience: I am was beautiful. That being said, the customer service my mother in law received was awful. She reserved this rental 2 months in advance and sent in all the information needed of each guest but the day of check in she received a text saying they were going to cancel our stay and keep the deposit because they didn't have the guest information. I can understand overlooking something but shouldn't there be policies to have everything ready to go prior to the day of check-in? Luckily she found her previous email and resent the information. Gave us a bad taste and felt like it was a scam. Not a good way to start our vacation. After driving 4 hours to the cabin we just wanted to unpack and relax. Didn't notice things until the next day. At first glance everything looked clean but the closer you look it just got worse. Socks from a prior customer was still in a dresser. Popcorn and other food from a mouse in the bedside table. Pool cues broken and unable to be used. Spilled water on the floor of the kitchen and wiped it up with a paper towel and it came up almost black. Don't know when the floors were cleaned last. Hot tub was dirty. Pool was low on water which made the pump extra loud. Was not aware of the rule to notify the office of these things otherwise I would have immediately. My family and I spent most of the morning of check out and the previous evening cleaning the cabin and washing towels. The cabin was cleaner after we left than it was when we arrived. We walked through the cabin multiple times and checked to make sure everything was in order. To my surprise my mother in law received an email stating the mirror in her bathroom was broken and they were charging her $100 for replacement. That mirror wasn't broken. 100% positive it was not broken when we left. I'm guessing it was from a previous renter or the cleaning crew. Also, Damage Insurance was purchased for the rental so why wasn't it covered under that? Why charge her $100 PLUS damage insurance? Where is the accountability for this company? Please don't rent from this place. We've rented cabins in different states and have never had the issues we've had with this one.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at Heart O' Texas during last year's Labor Day weekend. Quite happy with the stay. Both our toddler sons and grandparents traveled with us. The kids are so fond of the mountain cabin (probably because of their first-time experience). The cabin is spacious, clean, and very functional. In fact, we are considering to book with them again and bringing friends with us for the upcoming fall break.

Negative experience: My family and i came to broken bow for the first time and we booked our cabin with another company. Everything was great until broken bow lodging employees sent a security kicking us out because of some problems they had with the company that we booked with. They should of talk to the other company instead of being rude to us telling us we needed to leave We payed for our stay. It’s ridiculous how they took it out on us instead of trying to figure things out with the owner of the cabin and with the other company. Also they kept saying they needed to take their stuff from the cabin, in my opinion if you see that there are guests at the time why don’t wait until they leave? Really bad customer service.
Andrea, we had a contract to manage the cabin you were in and we did not have a reservation with you and had not been notified by the owner or anyone of anything otherwise! As far as we knew, you were trespassing. You might reconsider before booking with the same company. Everything in the cabin you stayed in said BROKEN BOW CABIN LODGING, not the company you booked with! Your review should be moved to the company you booked with. Imagining, showing up to a property you are responsible for and finding people inside who were not scheduled to be there! Yes, you call security!
Negative experience: We stayed at “Ridin High” and it is not ready to be rented to people. We were excited that it was new but quickly disappointed. When we arrived after 9 pm the code to get in the door didn’t work. We had to call and wait for maintenance to open the door and reprogram with a new code after driving four hours to get there. Housekeeper left a bag of linens sitting on the dining table , not sure if they were clean or dirty. After using the upstairs shower we noticed water dripping from the ceiling into the kitchen floor. There is only a 2-3 person couch and 2 chairs in the living room. Not comfortable AT ALL! There is no internet so we could not use any of the tv’s. The hot tub is very sub par. The seats are so low you can’t enjoy sitting in it. The weeds are so high that you didn’t dare walk out to the fire pit. This cabin is not set up like any of the multiple cabins we have stayed in while in broken bow. There are no cards, board games, nothing! There is a foosball table on the back patio that got soaked in rain so that thing will be ruined in a month or two. The AC either ran non stop or wouldn’t come on. There was a roach inside the closet when we arrived. There were just several things that made this trip disappointing. We will be back to broken bow but will not stay at this cabin! The people that booked the cabin for us were very helpful and professional.
Windi we are also disappointed as we strive to created positive, memorable stays for our guests. Sometimes it's takes a few stays to get everything setup on a new build/rental. I hope you will give us another chance and we will do better next time! Thank you for staying with us!

Fantastic experience: We stayed in American Paradise (103 Sweet Gum Trl). This property was nice and have lot of room for large party. It has enough place to park your car. Every room has its attached bathroom. There were enough dishes, glasses, cutlery and crockeries. It’s a nice fit for 20+ people. There is a game room with pool table. There are system available for outside grill. The air conditioning is strong and have ample water supply. Outside deck has seating arrangement and have a jacuzzi. There is a little play area with slide and swing outside for kids. Note that one has to climb stairs in order to enter the cabin and it’s not handicapped friendly. Overall it has a nice get together with family friends who’d love to stay in this property again. Few things that are to be noticed and require management attention if can be taken care of in future. 1. There are no extra bedding or blankets which should be given. 2. Why there is only one paper towel in the kitchen - keep at least 3/4 paper towels that’ll help the guests a lot. 3. There are no aluminum foil or cling wrap or zip lock provided. 4. There were only 4 trash bags available with poor quality - at least 10-12 heavy duty trash bags should be there. 5. The wifi is very poor - almost no connection in upstairs. 6. Have very few board games and no toys for infants or kids.

Negative experience: We stayed at Shooting Star July 3-13. The cabin itself is very nice, well equipped, and in a beautiful location. However, we had issues with BBCL that all potential renters should know, that being a substandard level of customer service. Specifically, if you do not notify them of issues immediately upon check in, they may or may not take care of the problem, or may charge a fee to fix it. This is the same issue as mentioned in previous reviews. For this cabin, we discovered the hot tub was dirty and had a bad odor a few days into our stay. We did not report it at that time as we didn’t think we’d want to use it. A few days later we did some outdoor activities that had us tired and sore so we called to report that the hot tub was dirty and requested that it be cleaned. We were told that since we did not report it when we first arrived that we would have to pay a fee to have it cleaned. We have booked through Broken Bow Cabin Lodging several times. Given how much business we’ve given them, it is ridiculous that they would not take care of cleaning the hot tub, something that should have been done prior to our arrival. For their lack of customer service, we will not be renting through BBCL again, and will be sure to spread the word. To all, be warned, BBCL cannot be relied upon to provide the service one would expect. Not sure what has happened to this agency as it used to be better than this. P.S. They were notified of our concerns by phone and by email and chose not to make it right.
Oh no! Cherie! This was the 4th of July holiday week and it is a little crazy. Our policy is to charge for hot tub changes. However you should not have been charged and you should have receive a courtesy clean. We've had some staff changes and they were just following policy however, you should have received an exception. Negative experience: I was a cleaner for this company and was fired for reporting to many problems... But yet in these cabins that y'all are paying good money for they have mold lurking in under cabinets n behind commodes... I went and tried to get something done about these cabins not being inspected properly so they where safe to clean much less stay in ... But instead they fired me so there was no one complaining about these obvious issues....

Negative experience: We have stayed at a lot of cabins. Their cabins are new and nicely furnished. However you are paying the price, they are very expensive comparatively. But the reason for the low score is their horrendous customer service. When we arrived there were 4 wasp in the house (I have a 1 and 2 year old baby). We killed them (after a hour) then over night 2 more showed up inside. They provided a phone number for maintenance issues which we called who not only didn’t answer, their VM was full. We called a total of 3 times with, none of which were answered. So we had to just deal with it. I reached out on instagram, and they told me they never received a call from me. I sent them a screen shot of my call log detailing the 3 times I called and they stopped responding. Don’t judge company’s on the mistake they make, judge them on their ability to fix them. This company could care less that our house was infested with wasp. Luckily it was only that, and not an actual life threatening emergency. They wouldn’t of known the difference since they couldn’t be contacted.

Fantastic experience: We always enjoy staying here. We try to come every year. Lots to do in the park. Swimming, fishing, kayaking, boating, hiking, atv's, horseback riding, petting zoo, train rides, and good old relaxing!
Hochatown is a great place to visit with lots to do including....just relaxing in a cabin.
Negative experience: Haven’t even arrived yet, but booking with this company is tedious and not well put together. After your reservation, be aware of multiple emails asking for different information, from photo id, guest list, ages, etc. Received an email about bugs beforehand too… Called to see what I needed to provide to get my address and check in details, the lady on the phone was rude. No customer service skills. We are paying customers, and should be treated as so. There are many choices in cabins, staff should act accordingly I’ll update my review on arrival. As for now, I am wishing I stuck with Creative Escapes. Day 1: changed to 1 star. Cabin is easy to locate. Wifi in cabin did not work, incorrect password. It was not labeled in book. Tried to reach office who stated, “call maintenance,” via text. We were able to get the wifi working. However, the bed I attempted to sleep in was HARD as a rock! I ended up sleeping on sofa which had a clock in the living room ticking all night. I called the office and sent an email. Ended up going in person and stated they would have housekeeping drop off a mattress cover. TBC…

FYI: due to the increase of fraud, we do all we can do to protect our owners and our customers. We also send several emails to our guests so they will be aware of what to expect when they arrive in our area. Bugs is one of them! Always bring your bug spray for outdoor protection! Sorry, these cabins are all privately owned and the owners select their mattresses. We do not keep mattresses in stock. I hope the mattress cover we purchased for you helped!
Fantastic experience: We stayed at Garden of Eden for the nights over a weekend in the summer. Our stay in broken bow was great and this cabin made it even more special. We had planned on going out a lot more than we had, but we spent more time at the cabin than I thought. It was great. Very easy location to find and accessible to everything you need for a broken bow/ hochatown visit within 3 miles. Huge place! Nice fire pit, hot tub, very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The wrap around porch is great. It was also extremely clean when we got there. A few cabins around but far enough they can't see you and you can't see them. Easy wrap around driveway made everything seem not so crammed. A really nice house overall. Online check in, with a door code made checking in/out very easy, as we didn't have to do anything to check in! It seems at first BBCL has a lot of rules but as long as you are respectful and don't trash the place, you will be fine. Very easy to work with from booking online with super clear expectations on what will happen and what you need to do. The customer service is quick, friendly and helpful. I never talked to anyone on the phone because the email/online communication was simply excellent. Really great job on customer management. This was an easy seamless experience and will be making the trip to Garden of Eden each year.

Fantastic experience: We have stayed at multiple cabins using BBCL. We have loved all of them. They are always so clean. The staff does a great job with information on getting to each location we stayed. When an issue did come up the maintainer team was over to fix it in no time at all. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed our stay at the Cals Cottage cabin. We were very impressed by the first look of it. It was simply perfect for us. Everything thing was up to the mark, the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, the toiletries were more than sufficient. The big deck outside was amazing. The privacy was enough. Hot tub was a big plus. The backward with the fir pit was a perfect to spend evening.

Negative experience: Worst service of my life cabin didn't have a septic tank motor so the place started stinking. So mid vacation the give us 2 down graded options with none of the amenities we wanted. Wasted 2 hrs reloading and unloading stuff. New solution is to move us a second time to a cabin almost as good as the first. However that will waste another 2 hrs of the 2 nights we have left. Missed my honeymoon reservation moving the first time. Then icing on the cake they tell me if I leave they will refund the next 2 days... terrible experience been here 10 years straight after this won't come back. GO TO A DIFFERENT CABIN COMPANY YOU CAN STILL ENJOY THE LAKE AND RIVER.

Fantastic experience: Our family recently stayed at the Livin’ Large Cabin at Broken Bow, OK. We had a great time in our three nights there. It was a terrific time of year to stay in this area. The cabin accommodations were wonderful and perfectly suited our family’s needs during this stay. The location is very convenient to many local attractions. Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I just checked out from a weekend at Narrow Escape yesterday for our 4 year anniversary and I cannot tell you how incredible our experience was!!! Our weekend was literally perfect. Clean, clear and easy directions, the view and hot tub were fantastic. We will be back twice a year from here on out. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This weekend we stayed in the Magic Carpet. It’s a beautiful home for a couple or small group. Directions and access were easy and the owner was very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was up to snuff. I’ve stayed in about a half dozen cabins in broken bow and this is definitely a favorite.

Negative experience: I have no choice but to contact the BBB and an attorney. This was our first time visiting Broken Bow and it was for our family Christmas 2022 at the Lucky Bear Lodge. We came from Texas and Michigan. Bottom line we paid for a luxury cabin and ended up roughing it like we had tents in the woods. It was apparent that no one checked on the cabin before our check in time. We had no heat the first two days and no hot water for the entire stay. Not only that, the showers and tubs had no running water at all. Water was only flowing from the sinks and of course it was cold so we had to boil water to wash up, cook and clean. No, the dish washer did not work either. I Don't believe that the problem was due to freezing temps because when it warmed up there was still no hot water or use of tubs and showers. Could be a nice looking cabin with terrible plumbing. Very strange that they would email me to alert us to let the faucets drip due to drop in temperature, but they did not do it prior to our arrival since temperature dropped days before our arrival. We were there 12/23 - 12/26 and reached out to the company regarding the issues. Someone came out to bring heaters but the water issue was never repaired. Our last day at the cabin the water issue got worse. Water was only trickling out of the sinks. I wanted to work with the company and requested concessions in lieu of a refund or a 3-night stay so that we could enjoy the luxury cabin at a later date. They offered 10% off a stay and a very very very low refund. I reached out via email and left two messages requesting to discuss and never heard back. My only resolve was to dispute the charges that I paid with my credit card. The payment that I made with my checking account I must request directly from the merchant but when I contacted them again, Chelsea would not take my call and gave the message for me to not call again. This just happened on 2/10/2023. I paid a lot of money for a luxury cabin with great amenities and was not able to experience it. Our family Christmas was ruined and I want the rest of my money. I didn't want to write a negative review but with them not even giving me the courtesy of a conversation and telling me not to call them again for the rest of my money (after I have paid thousands of dollars), I am very angry. Even though we had a terrible experience, we still left the cabin very clean. I DO NOT recommend BBCL!!!!! They are not good with customer service and are terrible communicators after they take your money. Wish I could give zero stars. Leslie

You agreed to our policy which states NO REFUNDS will be issued and we recommend trip insurance in our policy, to protect yourself. It was not a good Christmas for any of us because of the weather and utility outages. Both were outside the control of our company. We did correct the heat issue soon after you notified us of an issue. You also received a partial refund and a discount offer on a future stay. Best wishes to you.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at Lone Pine cabin and it was spectacular. They had everything you could possibly want: EV/Tesla charger, hot tub, outdoor grill/TV, waffle maker, cocktail mixers, washer/dryer, ETC. Cozy and the kids loved the playground and backyard! Would 1000% recommend.

Fantastic experience: I booked the Stix n stones cabin for 2 days and 2 nights for the whole family to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. There were 16 of us! We had an Amazing stay and so much fun that we dedecided to make it an annual thing! All she wanted was for the whole family to be together under one roof!! Everything with the cabin was PERFECT except for the road going to the cabin. Pretty bad. BUT A GREAT Place!!

Negative experience: This company is pathetic, during the most recent 4 day water outage (December 2022) the owner, Karen, emailed her clients to tell them not to contact them. Really despicable behavior by a company that is supposed to provide a service. It was a water outage, she clearly could not manage the stress of the situation. My hot tub cover was damaged in September 2022, we notified them of it in November 2022 because their incompetent staff never noted and were told it was being replaced. Now it’s January 2023 and the hot tub cover is still damaged. We went for a stay during the holidays and discovered light bulbs that were out (they are paid extra monthly to replace them) and other issues that has been noted for them previously yet remained unaddressed. You DO NOT want to hire this company to manage your cabin. They do not possess the ability or the resources to do so effectively.
There is really no reason to respond, this review shows what type of cabin owner you are. False accusations are typical when management ends the working relationship with an owner. Take note future managers.
Negative experience: Where do I even begin. This is our first time here and it will be our last. The first day at the cabin, our power went out. Keep in mind the cabin did nothing to console us. We had to call them to give us fire soon because the power was off in 7 degree weather. We understand it’s not their fault but the customer service was terrible. Fast forward one day laster, the water went out. A family of 10 couldn’t take a shower, couldn’t cook or anything. Once again the cabins customer service was terrible. We had to call them to give us water and the rep had an attitude with us. We had to use water bottles in order to fill up toilets and take showers. The water is still currently off while I type this. No one from broken bow has called to apologize or give any type of response. Keep in mind this is a “luxury” cabin with a big price tag. Terrible experience. Just save your money and spend it on gifts.
That entire week was a nightmare for all of us. Actually for most of Oklahoma.
Fantastic experience: Everything was perfect! We didn't have any cleaning or maintenance issues! Everything was labeled, which helped a lot. We visited a few local hot spots (Girls Gone Wine, Hochatown Saloon, Ice Cream & Coffee shop) which were all within 3 to 4 miles of the cabin! Check in and check out instructions and the notebook with all "how to" instructions and suggestions were perfect and made our stay a breeze! The cabin (Siena Magnolia Springs) was just what we needed for our weekend getaway! The Christmas tree was a perfect added holiday touch! Will definitely be back!

Negative experience: This company lures customers in with false promises of free nights. It used to be that if they were running a special, you could check the exclusions ahead of making an online reservation. You then emailed them to have the free night applied. With the onset of the pandemic, however, they began pushing back when you tried emailing about the free night; they’d claim your selected cabin wasn’t eligible for a free night (even if it wasn’t on the excluded cabins list), etc. More recently, they’ve erased almost all exclusionary language from their website, and placed a “Call Now” button beneath the “Free Night” language. When you call to have the free night added, you’re apt to be told something like “You should have called before reserving”, or “When it says holidays are excluded, it means all days within a week of the holiday”, and so on – pretty much anything to avoid honoring the advertising. My advice would be to avoid BBCL at all costs. I’ve booked trips across the country and back, but never encountered anything like my last few experiences with Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. UPDATE: Case in point of why I wouldn't recommend this booking agency to anyone is even present in the company's response. You'll notice A) that I'm still being blamed for the confusion caused at the outset by their lack of clarity, and B) that they're attempting to turn the cancellation into some sort of heroic positive in their favor. I was within the refund window for having my deposit refunded to me; that was not a courtesy. And the plain fact is that their saying "I'm sorry" or apologizing endlessly does not, in any way, excuse false advertising, or other deceptive business practices. FURTHER CORRECTION: The rep I spoke with on their recorded line consistently insisted I was within range of being able to receive a full refund, and this clearly confused me. The policy language does indeed run contrary to that information, making clear I wasn't owed a refund of my initial payment; hence my not realizing it was a courtesy. So I appreciate the company not keeping my money after falsely advertising to me, I suppose. But the rest of what I've said stands.
I'm sorry that you did not understand our wording of "some restrictions apply. Holidays excluded". The reason we have the call now is so that guests can call to get the details of the restrictions. Because of the confusion you had we did refund your deposit as a courtesy and apologize for the inconvenience. To respond to your incorrect information in your reply. Our policy which you agreed to stats that deposits are never refundable. So there is no time frame for a refundable deposit. We did as a courtesy for your confusion refund the nonrefundable deposit.
Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Shady Shack!! This is a perfect cabin for 2. It has an amazing deck with a hot tub!!! Great view as well. We will be back!!!

Fantastic experience: We stayed at Pueblo on the Pines. Beautiful nature!!! We saw several dear around the lodge, gorgeous lakes nearby, and crisp nature air. The lodge amenities kept our 3 kids entertained at night and the hikes during the day. This is our 2nd stay and are thoroughly pleased with the service.

Positive experience: We rented base camp. The house was nice but the bed condition wasn’t as great(creaky bed springs and kids had big bites). Good for families with kids for play area behind the house.

Negative experience: This is one of the worst cabins I have rented as well as one of the worst companies to deal with. As I travel for work I have been in a lot of temporary and vacation homes. This place was infested with ants and spiders. They also had several malfunctioning faucets; as the kitchen sick was in two pieces and so forth. I will never book with them again nor do I recommend it to anyone!! They attempted to put a bandage on the issues… they stated they sent a maintenance individual out though then we returned nothing was fixed… I had to go to the office and still did not get any assistance… they have continued to place a bandage on the issues but have no resolution!!!! I have several photos and videos documenting the issue as as well…. Responding to BrokenBow… Actually according to your guest book at the cabin this has been an issues since 7/6/22…. But yet was not taken care of until today …. Thought I do not think supper glue is a true fit to broken faucet handles….
I'm sorry that you experienced any inconveniences. I see that we did send maintenance over to address any concerns that we were made aware of. Also the cabin is on regular pest control, once we were aware that there may be an issue we immediately contacted pest control. Like I mentioned in the office we can only fix things if we are aware of them. Things do happen in short term rentals, especially older economy style rentals, but we have a full maintenance team including after hours to address issues. We also will have pictures of the fixed kitchen faucet now that we are aware there was an issue. Again I apologize for any inconveniences. BBCL
Fantastic experience: We decided to have a last minute getaway for our family of five. 2 adults and 3 kids (13,10,7months and yep, you read the ages correctly ) We found Hayden’s Hollow and we are SO glad we did! It was absolutely perfect. My girls loved having their own space upstairs. Megan with BBCL was extremely helpful when we called with questions and the cabin was extremely clean and well taken care.

Fantastic experience: We stayed in the Red Cloud Cabin. It was the perfect retreat to get away from it all. It was beautifully furnished. Very clean, comfortable and in a great location. I loved being up on the porch and able to look out without looking directly into another cabin since the porch was high up. I would suggest, if you are short, to bring a foldable stepstool. The beds are a bit high. The communication with BBCL was excellent. Emails before the stay with helpful information. We will be back!!

Fantastic experience: We stayed at Bear Naked for 3 nights in February 2022 and we LOVED it! There were 5 families - 10 adults and 9 children ranging from 18 months to 9 years old - and it was PERFECT for us. There were enough bedrooms for the adults and plenty of room for the kids. The back patio was wonderful - nice having a gas fireplace out there as it was chilly outside. We all loved the firepit - especially the grates that you could put over the fire as we cooked hot dogs there. The grill was brand new and the flat top outside was perfect for making pancakes. We had a small maintenance issue (a couple nail pops in the hardwoods) but I called and maintenance arrived promptly and fixed the issue quickly (and their crew was extremely polite and helpful)! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Negative experience: We made a reservation late on 2/8/22 and had a family emergency on 2/10. I called to cancel and was told that there would be no refund. After much discussion, they offered to try to rent the cabin and if so, will refund all but the deposit. Problem is, I paid the total amount of $4779. Rent at your own risk! If it had been more than 48 hours, it might be reasonable but under the circumstances, I do not think this is a fair or compassionate way to conduct business.
As discussed on the phone, you chose not to protect your trip with insurance. You agreed to our cancellation policy which stats that if you choose to cancel within the arrival window there is no refund. We offered, as a courtesy, to try to get it rebooked and refund you everything minus the Non refundable deposit. Again which you agreed to when booking. We offer travel insurance to eliminate risks, you chose to decline coverage. We are a business and we also have to protect the property owners, which is why we have our cancellation policy. But we do believe in fair and compassion which is why we offer trip insurance and why we also offered to help get it rebooked to be able to refund 90% of your payment. Fantastic experience: I give 5 stars to the rental agency. They were responsive, professional, and friendly. We just returned from Rosé All Day for our family Christmas. We spent 4 nights there. I give the cabin itself 4 stars. There was no sound barriers between ceiling and floors or walls. Otherwise, great place. It was well maintained. It looked almost like the pictures. It was decorated inside for Christmas. The game loft was great. Outdoor space was great. We really enjoyed our stay and barely left the cabin. We wouldn't book that house again because of the noise issues but BBCL is top notch.

Positive experience: We just returned from a weekend stay at Frog’s Landing cabin in Hochatown! The cabin was beautifully decorated, immaculately maintained and very spacious! There were about 6 of us in the kitchen preparing brunch and we had plenty of room to work! Plenty of utensils, glasses, cups, pots, etc for whatever you need!! They thought of everything including a kitchen aide mixer, blender and most importantly, a cork screw!!! Out of 16 women and several bottles of wine, no one thought to bring one!!! I’m only giving it 4 stars because there were no closets in any of the bedrooms, no iron and board and the the hot tub never heated up to a warm enough temperature to use! You may want to consider at least adding an over the door hanging rack for guests like me who actually bring their clothes on hangers or stating in the description that these items are not included so that guests can prepare accordingly. Also, the kitchen only had 1 sink considering how large it was!! However, neither of these would stop me from returning to this beautiful cabin in the future!!!

Fantastic experience: We had our trip set for Dec 3-5 and unfortunately we had to change the dates last minute. Our 7 month old son tested positive for the flu. The owner was way more than understanding and let us change the dates. We will be there next month.

Fantastic experience: We have been doing a long weekend at Broken Bow for 13 years with my daughter, son in law and grandchildren. We have stayed in several different cabins but absolutely loved Southern Nights. Broken Bow Cabin Lodging group does a great job of letting you know what to expect. The house was clean and well appointed with really comfortable beds. We will definitely be back next year.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful location and all the houses in the area are amazing!! Our home was 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, pool table, game room, hot tub, fire pit, gas & electric grills, smoker, patio w/ outdoor dining for 6, outdoor couches and tv. The kitchen was fully stocked with EVERYTHING! I was shocked (yes I’m the cook)! THIS PLACE/AREA IS A MUST VISIT! Oh and the town is very friendly and busy with visitors. The closest Walmart is very small and old school. It you need specialty items for your meals or whatever, just bring them or go to the one that’s about 45 mins away.

Positive experience: Cute. Close to shopping and main road. For price was good. The beds are very uncomfortable. The hide a bed you could feel the springs. Trick is to use hot tub and you'll sleep well. Other than that had a fantastic time. Cabin is adorable . Perfect for a couple. Not for 3 or 4 people.

Negative experience: The cabin itself is great, but god forbid you show up 30 or even 10 minutes early and they will not let you in. Doesn’t matter if you drive 6 hours to be here you and spend thousands you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED until 4pm. They will tell you they don’t know the cleaning schedule so you can’t get in until it’s done, but no offense if check in is at 4pm then it should’ve been done if you’re here at 3:30. Now we are having to sit outside until 4pm and wait until a button is pushed remotely so we can get inside. Great cabin and fun time but wouldn’t recommend this company nor their customer service. We are out here to celebrate a birthday and it sucks we are told we need to wait the 30 minutes until they push a button to unlock our door.
Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the inconvenience of our check in time which you agreed to when you booked. We strive to make sure our guests are sent multiple emails with check in times to avoid anyone getting here before the cabin is ready. We do have many teams that go into making sure each cabin is ready for the next guests, for example just because the outside is clean and ready doesn't mean the inside is. Negative experience: I was very disappointed in my over all experience here. There were several issues from staying here the bedroom door didnt want to shut and the bathroom didnt want to close and lock up. We did call and reported these issues but they told us nothing much could have been done i dont mind the cosmetic damages but the overall cleanliness was horrible there were stains by the toilet, showers and on the bedcovers they were very unpleasant stains. I have called and complained about the issues but they were not very attentive nor did they cared!
Fantastic experience: We loved our cabin! It was so nice and so fun to get away! There was plenty of space for everyone and room for me! The wrap around deck was very nice! Our cabin only had one cornhole board for some reason and the hot tub jets weren't very strong but we still enjoyed it! Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic experience: We loved Zen the Woods! The cabin was spacious, comfortable, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed all the seating areas, inside and out, and had hours of fun playing ping pong. We definitely recommend this cabin and would stay here again.

Fantastic experience: I Just loved the ever changing look and feel of the tall forest surrounding Bear Hill Lodge. We loved the covered porch surrounding the house with the peaked roof over the back affording a good view of forest birds, and weather. The fire pit (S’Mores), hot tub, Foozeball, PAC Man, horseshoes, and more, added to good times for our mixture of ages. The peacefulness is awesome for us seniors, and “hopping” for the younger group with the great games and big TVs. I really loved the beautifully decorated rooms with pine plank walls and ceilings. Fantastic experience: These cabin are fantastic. Beautiful and large. Quite. Let me repeat that...Quite. Bring your problems, leave with your zen and peace. Couldn't recommend these cabin any more. The only real downside was the roads coming to the cabins, but they are in the process if fixing them. I added some pictures if the great outdoors. Let the cabin surprise you. Its worth it.

Negative experience: We had several issues with the cabin and reported them but nothing was done about the issues. The upstairs shower we could not use because it poured into the downstair rooms. A grate along with the wooden trim fell and lucky didn’t hit any of the toddlers. They didn’t respond until after we checked out with an offer of 5% off any future stays. Will not be taking them up on that 5%!

Fantastic experience: The cabin was amazing! It was very clean and cozy; it had everything we needed as far as cooking wise. The only problem we faced was a lot of spider webs which is normal due to nature, but other that that my family and I will definitely be back next year!!!
Negative experience: We booked a cabin at the beginning of COVID. Due to health concerns and the country shutting down, we decided it would be best to put the trip on hold. Brittany was so sweet and offered us a "voucher" for the full amount since we paid in full. Brittany confirmed that in the future when we booked our cabin, she would honor the current special that they had running. It was a "stay 2 nights, get the 3rd night free." There were no restrictions. When we went to book during the month of October the keyboard warrior replying to my emails were nothing short of rude. They told me they could no longer honor the deal I was promised. Their rates had increased too much and they were too busy. They did offer a full refund - which I gladly accepted but the customer service was beyond awful. I will NEVER book with this company again. It's a shame that their bottom line is more important than their honesty and word. Shame on you!

Fantastic experience: Did Same Time Next Year have any maintenance issues? No, everything was fine. Did Same Time Next Year have any cleaning issues when you arrived? No, cabin was very clean. Did you find any broken or missing items when you arrived? No Everything was just as pictured and very clean. Cabin had everything needed for cooking as well as games for enjoyment. Negative experience: Well, our stay at the cabin was fine (although, nearly $1k for a 1 bedroom/2 night stay) minus minor inconveniences. The problems happened on check out day. Check out was noon, housekeeping showed up at 11 and let us know she was there. We tried to rush, and in the process ended up leaving $400 worth of hanging clothes. A couple hours after checkout we noticed and notified them immediately. Told us they would charge us $25+shipping to return items, ok fine. 2 weeks go by, a couple attempts at contacting them just to tell me my items were not found. (Even though the vacuum was in the closet the items were left in, and housekeeping "does an inventory"...) The worst part was the way we were treated by the staff - I APOLOGIZED that I left things and we notified them the day of. They couldn't be bothered to contact housekeeping that day or check the closet again - after we took the trash out, started the dishwasher, gathered all the dirty towels (all in their checkout instructions) and mind you we paid $1k to do all this. Worst customer service I've ever experienced, every email response was terribly condescending. If I wanted to be talked to that way I'd go home for christmas. All in all, definitely never using this company again. EDIT: Since my posting, the company reached out, apologized, have since found my clothes and mailed them to me. It did take a month, but better late than never.

Fantastic experience: Uncle Bucks Cabin - We stayed here for a long weekend and I can't say enough good things about it. Perfectly located to all restaurants and only a few minutes from Carson's Boat Ramp. It was great for our kiddo with a play place outback.

Fantastic experience: We just returned from a wonderful and much needed vacation in Broken Bow, OK. The cabin was perfect with lots of amenities and the location was great. We were close to everything. We loved the cabin, pool table, hot tub, games inside and out and smores at the firepit. I hate to tell everyone about it - I want to keep it to ourselves.

Negative experience: I’ve heard nothing but good things about this cabin but unfortunately I didn’t get to experience what everyone has. I’ve booked my dates in June for the month of August “booking the cabin I wanted ahead of time”. But today I was told from my friend that our dates are unavailable and they wasn’t going to give us our refund back “we paid $138 for us to get our refund back if anything come up”. The man who owned the place sold the cabin and didn’t send us any notifications nor a letter etc. I was livid but at the same time whoever is the OWNER OF THIS CABIN should’ve communicated with US instead of giving our cabin away. (Yes we got our refund back after we held a discussion with whomever was in charge on today 8/12/2020)! I hope everyone who book with them within the last two months in contact with them to make sure your cabin is still available.
It took me several hours to find this reservation as it is under another name. We were notified of the management change at 11:26 am on Aug 12 and immediately began contacting our guest and providing them the contact information for the new management company. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. It's unfortunate when these things happen but there wasn't anything we could do. Fantastic experience: May the Forest Be With You is a super fun cabin that's well furnished and decorated! One of the best points is its location - close to 259 and paved roads, making it a quick and easy drive after a day or night of fun! My only warning for others is that the kitchen is very small.

Fantastic experience: I stayed at the Cartecay in the Pines Cabin with my family and we had the best time. We were welcomed with so much warmth and respect. When we first walked in all the tv’s were on and Jazz was playing in every room including the living room. The place was nice and refreshing. Clean inside out. I loved how considerate this owner of the cabin was, that they even had outdoor seating with cushions and a hot tub, grill, fire ground and kids playground. Just wow!! I’d definitely come back here again. Thank you so much for having us and letting us rent this cabin for the weekend. We had such a wonderful and well spent time with family.

Fantastic experience: We had a great multi-generation family weekend! Everyone loved Lookout Ridge!!! A couple minor annoyances with the cabin, but nothing that dimmed our fun! Loved having the DirectTV music playing through the house. Showers were amazing -- front porch sunset views were exceptional! The team was exceptional at communicating with us every step of the way -- emails and texts with directions, reminders and updates. Always felt that we were in good hands. During this time of travel uncertainty, it was fabulous to have a place where we could all relax, eat our meals at home and make some family memories. We were first-timers to the Broken Bow area, and found the drive from the Dallas area to be quite easy.

Fantastic experience: My family and I stayed at the Tree Top Lodge and we had a fantastic time! The cabin was everything that the website showed it to be. The property management company was excellent in the quick response to a maintenance issue we noticed once we arrived. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are returning this year in September!
Negative experience: If I could give "0" stars I would. Broken Bow Cabin lodging have 1 thing in mind, and it's their bottom dollar! We had a 4 night stay planned or early August and were very excited to be traveling from Massachusetts to visit OK for the first time. We were going to be renting a 4 bedroom luxury cabin with friends from TX. Everything seemed great and we were excited about our trip. Then Covid-19 happened. Coming from MA, which was devastated by the pandemic, we chose to not travel over the Summer. While it was heartbreaking to not see our friends, or experience the beauty of Broken Bow, we opted for our family's and our best friend's safety and health. Airline reservations were refunded as well as rental car reservations, with NO loss of deposits! I wish I could say the same for Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. Both families were charged their reservation deposit of approximately $195 each family. What could help as food or relief from not being employed due to this crisis, was kept in the pockets of the rental agency. Multiple calls were turned away with "sorry but that's our policy." Well in case you've been away for the last 3 months, policies are being adapted/changed to help and people are caring for each other and trying to get through this crisis together, not take money and say sorry! What a disappointment. Look out for this agency if planning a trip to the area.
Fantastic experience: We were very pleased during our stay at Hochatown Hideaway. They had everything we needed and the cabin was very nice and comfortable. The amount of deck space was fantastic and we loved that the hot tub was near to the fire pit so we could enjoy both at the same time. The roads were a bit bumpy and the neighborhood is right in the heart of the action which had moments of really heavy traffic, but it wasn’t a problem. There are other cabins owned by this company that are more remote if you are looking for a quieter area. It’s really convenient though, because you don’t have to drive far to get anything you might need. The cabin was nicely updated and sits on a hill as well. We even saw a deer walk by. Loved our trip!
