Fantastic experience: I Found Real Irish when looking for Harris Tweed gloves to gift someone. The gloves have been delayed delivery because of a shipping service strike. Real Irish reached out to let me know of the predicament and sent a replacement pair of gloves which arrived overnight! They were so kind and sincere in wanting to help right this issue which really is out of their hands. I appreciate so much the level of customer service I have received! The gloves, now ready to be gifted are so soft and nice (yes I slipped my hand in before wrapping!)! I will absolutely be purchasing more! Thank you Real Irish and Stuart!

Fantastic experience: I have been writing about travel...and traveling...for over 30 years. So I know how tricky it is to bring all the components of a land tour together. Stuart did a fantastic job in all aspects -- not a easy feat. Not only does he design his tours, he accompanies them. He was always cheerful, even when presented with a challenge. And so hospitable, buying the first drink for everyone at our many group dinners. If you have always wanted to see Ireland, then GO now... And go with Real Irish Tours. You won't be disappointed. Fantastic experience: Just back from 12 wonderful days touring Dublin and the north and west of Ireland. So many tours all scheduled and arranged ahead of time never could have done it myself and the bus driver easily navigated roads I wouldn't want to even on the right side of the road. Accomodations and meals superb. Music, history, scenic overlooks and local tour guides giving details beyond the guidebooks. Have to do another of these tours.

We had an amazing group of fellow travelers (20) on the tour. Fantastic experience: Real Irish Travel took my wife and I to Ireland. Stuart and our Irish guides and drivers introduced us to Ireland. We toured and learned about Ireland’s rich histories and ever-visible legacies. We met the people, experienced the culture, viewed and touched beautiful vistas. We saw the cliffs, the shores, the pastures, and never tired of the color green. We toured and watched ship builders, woolen mill workers, and ironworkers. We tasted incredible food, were treated to first class hospitality venues, and of course we drank Guinness, Irish whiskeys & ales & beers. We enjoyed it all. Stuart is much more than a guide. He delivers the Island of Eire to you. During our entire stay every part of was personable and very friendly. Our group, all seventeen of us, became close and still stay in touch, due in no small part to our experiences and Stuart’s connection to Ireland and people.

We went to Dublin, Galway, Westport, Donegal, Belfast and more seeing Giants Causeway, Cliffs of Moher, live Irish shows, Titanic and so very much more. Fantastic experience: My daughter and I joined a Real Irish tour this summer, and that's exactly what it is. Although I've been to Ireland several times, I never felt I knew this beautiful land so intimately as I enjoyed under Stuart's tutelage. Fantastic experience: Going on the Real Irish tour was truly life changing. Stuart sets up a comprehensive and well paced schedule to learn the history of Ireland across locations, marvel at the natural beauty of the country, and enjoy the great food, music & camaraderie of the Irish people. The private coach was so comfortable to travel in between stops and to attractions. Also, Stuart books incredible hotels and restaurants. It was great having the group dinners on our first nights, giving us a place to start exploring. Group dinners also solidified the bonds amount travelers. I also loved how our trip balanced cities and the countryside. You’ll see more sheep than people for a while, I found it comforting. Highly recommend!

If I could make a suggestion I would like the ability to use a shipper other than the USPS. Fantastic experience: It wasn't until our daughter married a man intensely proud of his Irish heritage that prompted me to visit Stuart's store. The Guinness hockey jersey in the window may prove to be a perfect gift for our new son-in-law, but it WAS the perfect introduction for me to a store and shopkeeper I should have visited long before now. I am not Irish, but I am drawn to timeless authenticity - the gorgeous sweaters and other items in this store are high quality and authentic. Ireland has been high on our places to visit and as soon as we can safely travel, we'll be back to speak with Stuart at Real Irish. Even if you're not Irish, you'll need one of his fisherman's sweaters, beautiful hats or a scarf if you're in Michigan.

We really enjoyed the great customer service and found the amazing wool, cashmere sweaters and other great items imported from Ireland. Fantastic experience: I was so excited to find an authentic Irish store in the US. I was looking for these beautiful Fisherman of Ireland wraps and couldn’t find the colors and sizes I needed from my other favorite Irish online stores. I found Real Irish on a whim and was so impressed with Stuart’s excellent customer service and prompt replies. I was having some difficulty with my transaction online and Stuart was so personable and kind helping me complete my transaction. I ordered two of the wraps and they are beautiful, warm and perfect in every way. Real Irish sent me my items very quickly and packaged perfectly. I will definitely be returning for more beautiful items. Even though I live in NC where the winters are not too terribly cold for very long my husband and I both prefer all of our Irish Wool sweaters, scarves and wraps over any of our other winter garments. The quality and workmanship is well worth the price tag in the long run and nothing keeps you warmer or stays as beautiful as timeless Irish wool. You will not be disappointed in this stores selection or customer service.

Fantastic experience: From the urban streets of Dublin and Belfast to the rugged Sliabh Liag Cliffs and Aran Islands, Stuart custom-designed a fascinating tour of Northern Ireland that kept our group enthralled for the entire ten-day experience. Moving at a very comfortable pace, our days were filled with breathtaking scenery, exploration of the countryside which included small villages, castles and gardens, and a haunting tour of the the National Famine Museum. In addition, we enjoyed interesting city tours of Dublin, Belfast, Londonderry, and Galway. The planning and execution of each day's schedule was meticulous, yet we had opportunities for spontaneous adventures like an unscheduled stop at Nancy's Bar, (sadly, no relation!), where we all had Irish coffee. Throughout our travels, we learned extensively about the history, culture, and politics of the area. In every way, Stuart provided a memorable adventure that reflected his love of his native land.

Fantastic experience: Our Irish adventure began in a small coffee shop in Brighton Michigan when we met Stuart Marley and started discussions for a trip to Ireland. We had some ideas about things we and a group of friends wanted to see and do in the northern and western parts of Ireland. After listening to specific places we wanted to have included, Stuart started with one of his regular tours and customized it to 'fit' our group by augmenting it with many wonderful ideas including places and activities known only by someone who has grown up in Ireland. Our group of 12 arrived in Dublin where we met Stuart, our planner and guide-in-chief, and Gary, our driver and commentator on everything Irish, from bicyclers in Spandex to the National Bird of Ireland - the thousands of construction cranes in frequent view. It took us only about an hour to recognize the knowledge and sense of humor that would accompany us for the nearly 2 weeks we were in Ireland. During our visit, we were: -Exploring Dublin, including the Book of Kells at Trinity College -Engaged in the history of this unique nation -Gaining understanding of the conflict between the North and the South for hundreds of years -Exploring small places where you can't possibly go with a large group -Standing on the edge of the North Sea wondering if we could walk across the Giant's Causeway from Ireland to Scotland -Taking walking tours in numerous charming small and large cities -Meeting locals through Stuart and Gary who seemed to know everyone in Ireland, -Looking at the beautiful cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean, -Staying 3 nights in a 5 star resort near Donegal called Harvey's Point -Experiencing several stops in local restaurants and pubs -Having a nice balance and pace in our sightseeing and free time -And visiting the Aryan Islands. The entire tour was a wonderful joy and we hope to be able to join Real Irish, Stewart, and Gary again some day. Jo and Skip Blunt

I can honestly say that this was the best organized and most enjoyable tour that we have ever taken. Stuart had everything superbly organized and his knowledge of Irish geography and history made the experience quite special. His tours are small so that everyone on tour gets to know everyone else. I can also say that the accommodations and food on the trip were well above expectation. We really hope to take additional tours with Stuart as soon as this virus is behind us. The shop owner is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and my partner has found plenty of wonderful gifts for his mom, who is first generation Irish-American. I’ll continue to give my business... and just a note for folks who would rather order on Amazon: you can’t put a price on being able to support a local, actual Irish business run by actual Irish people. You can’t put a price on being able to touch and hold the items, hear their stories, and learn about Ireland from the owner. Spend the extra few bucks and purchase in store!

Fantastic experience: I just received my"newsboy"style,tweed hat by Hanna hats and I love it.Perfect fit.I purchased another a year ago that was identical except a different color.I was hoping to buy another but the store (in Ireland) discontinued selling the Hanna brand hats.I bought a hat thinking I was buying the same hat but boy was I wrong.The hat I purchased looked like a big,fat,tweed bag sitting on my head.So was really happy stumbling on to the "Real Irish"store online and being able to buy the genuine Hanna hat.Shipping was fast and I couldn't be more pleased!I'll be shopping again at "Real Irish"and also taking a closer look at the tours you advertised. Fantastic experience: Awesome store, worth the drive even if you are far. Visit here and then go in any direction for lunch and drinks, like two minutes away. This place sells great hand crafted items from Ireland, the way things used to be made. They last a lifetime. The gentleman is really friendly at the store and takes the time and has the knowledge to tell you about what he sells. A store like stores used to be, an experience instead of a robot with a rack full of junk. I will definitely visit again. I have an employee working for me who was born and raised in Ireland and she knew exactly the items I purchased and proceeded to tell me stories of her mother making clothes like these by hand 80 years ago. Fantastic experience: I bought a Mucross Weavers scarf back in 2014. Loved it! Unfortunately, I lost it and I was devastated. I did an on-line search for the scarf and found it at The Real Irish here in Michigan. The Real Irish quickly and efficiently processed my order. Fantastic experience: I am very happy with my Real Irish experience. My wife loves the Innisfree perfume (and I love when she wears it) but it’s sometimes hard to find and can be very expensive. Real Irish had it in stock and at a great price. My order arrived very quickly and now my wife is happy again. I will definitely be ordering from Real Irish again.

I've been in Ann Arbor for year,s and never knew this jewel was right around the corner. After visiting Ireland this past March, I have had an 'itch' to get more apparel and items from the area. It was a pleasure coming to the store to buy gifts, and chat with Stuart about Irish history, music and his touring services. Great customer services, and amazing products! I will be back again, and highly recommend to anyone in the area or passing through Ann Arbor.

Fantastic experience: My experience was outstanding with Real Irish! I often shop online but it is usually a very automated process, not at Real Irish, although I am many miles across the country my experience was very personal and felt like I was shopping with a local merchant! I received the hat I purchased for a Christmas gift and it arrived quickly and inside my box it was packed inside a gift box with tissue ready for wrapping! I will definitely recommend this shop to all my online shopper friends! Thank you Real Irish for helping to make my Christmas a little more sparkly and happy!

Fantastic experience: Visited Ireland, N Ireland, and Wales with Stuart and Real Irish Travel in Fall 2019. Wales was an amazing surprise and we loved it more than Ireland (which is saying a lot since Ireland was pretty wonderful.). The small group made much of the difference, especially in Wales with smaller roads and sites. First class hotels all the way. Transfers and luggage handling are no worries. No surprises on what is covered or not in the price. Bus was first class, clean and roomy (vans in Wales.) Loved the thoroughly-vetted local tour operators/drivers and the well-known, lesser-known, and unknown stops Stuart includes on the itinerary. This is a busy itinerary and is not for late sleepers but you see ALOT! Overall, a no-worries tour we would certainly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I purchased 2 Mullingar pewter pocket watches. One for my father of Celtic decent & one for my irish significant other as Christmas gifts. They arrived promptly & well packaged. I am getting them engraved as well. I am eager to see their reactions to these gifts!

Fantastic experience: We recently had one of the best travel experiences of our lives, on the East to West Ireland trip. Expectations met: sense of security and ease with a seasoned coach driver; all details taken care of by Stuart and Gary (tickets, meal reservations, luggage handling, thoughtful restroom stops, etc.) and carefully chosen sites to visit and learn about Irish history and culture. Expectations that were far far exceeded: the warmth and camaraderie quickly formed within a lovely group of people, created and encouraged by Stuart & Gary; the beautiful accommodations, usually within walking distance of many shops, pubs & restaurants; the reasonable daily expectations of activities rather than trying to see too much in a short time; the mix of castles, gardens, museums, urban areas, and incredible outdoor adventures - a great combination for indoor/outdoor experiences; the coach that allowed for a little elbow room and such pleasant drives; and just the right amount of free time for us to explore each city as we wished. We cannot recommend travel with Real Irish highly enough. It was magic.
