Negative experience: A complete rip off, spent over 4000 dollars checked in 2 days in advanced to make sure tickets were viable and they were up until the day of the flight, left me and my family stranded a few days before Christmas

Negative experience: I was sold a standby ticket. No advice check-in, no seat selection and nothing but hassle at the check-in counter. I was lucky to get where I was going. Buyer beware but I saved some cash but not worth the hassle.

Negative experience: They made me pay an extra $1000 from what I paid online, called at 5am on a Saturday and then called 2 hours later after charging me half to say I need to give them my debit card info as they don’t take Discover. But the airline lists Discover as an approved card and they already took out a grand! She was so frustrated that I wouldn’t do it, she hung up on me. Absolutely awful experience. If the price is too good to be true, it’s a scam.

Negative experience: SCAM!!! The old bait and switch tactic just as described by the 1 star reviews... BEWARE and STAY AWAY. After making my purchase online, I received a call from them stating that the flight is not available but have the option to pay DOUBLE if I wanted to upgrade to an available seat on the same flight. I then asked them to cancel my order, which they refused. I had to call my credit card company and block the charges from them.

Negative experience: I bought a ticket and they immediately called me, said I couldn’t get that low priced ticket, nor could I get my money back. He then gave me the new higher price for the same flights. Said that if I didn’t want that one, I would just lose my money. I argued an hour, made no difference. Negative experience: Scam. Booked plane tickets to belize for $470 each. Went through check out. There is no option for insurance or luggage. Should've been a sign. Got a call telling me I had to upgrade my tickets, and it would be $3500 each. Asked to cancel and they refused. I hung up. They called me 9 times and left vioicemails saying they would lower the price. First to 1900, then 1100 each. They texted over 9 times. Threatening us with fines and fees for not buying the upgraded tickets. They called and texted me telling me I had to upgrade my tickets. Called my bank and had to cancel my card. Beware. They don't respond to negative reviews, which tells me they don't care much or it is a scam. Reported to the BBB and state department. I'm not sure what operation this is, but not looking good with so many negative reviews, no replies, but yet still in business. Usually companies like this have other avenues to make money and don't care about people across the world. They are not in the business of selling tickets.

Negative experience: AVOID this SCAM!!!! You will find a cheap ticket, book it and immediately get a call. Read all the reviews, it is happening to EVERYONE. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews and fell for it. BIG MISTAKE. DO NOT book with this company, it has been a complete nightmare. All the good reviews are fake.

Negative experience: Same as the others. They offer cheap tickets and get your credit card information. Then call and say your choices are to either pay more or forfeit the original amount. I hung up on them without making either choice. 12 hours later, after receiving a dozen phone calls from 4 different numbers, 6 text messages and one emai, I canceled my credit card. No legitimate company operates like this.

I purchased a flight ticket through their website at what seemed like a reasonable fare. Just five minutes after booking, I received a call from their team informing me that the fare I bought was no longer available. When I asked for a cancellation, they refused to provide a refund and instead offered only an e-voucher. It's clear that they are baiting customers with low, unavailable prices to trap them into using their service. This is highly unprofessional and feels like a scam. I strongly advise others to avoid Travelo1.com at all costs – you might end up stuck with no proper solution and waste your money!

Cant seem to get any kind of confirmation for the flights I supposedly purchased and am now struggling to get my money back. I reported the charge and intend to notify the BBB as well. Was linked over by partner site booked and didn’t hesitate got that call automatically felt suspicious checked the site reviews as the agent was talking and the conversation went left such and such was no longer available so it was gonna be way more and they can’t cancel etc. luckily blocked it all out on time so I guess I was a lucky one. They called within seconds of booking it which gave me the opportunity to lock my card so they would not take out the money. I told them do not charge my card and I am not confirming do not charge my card. They have called me at least eight times and will not stop as many times as I have asked.. They show attractive tariffs and minutes later they call you to say that they do not have that class and they force you to take the next one above. Negative experience: I book a flight for a certain rate, 2 minutes after booking they called and said that flight wasn't available and I would have to pay triple what they had posted on their website. When I said I wanted to cancel the rep started yelling at me and saying I wasn't able to cancel, just get airline credit in 3 to 5 business days. When I told the rep to stop speaking to me in the tone he was speaking to me, he increased his attitude with me. Worst customer service. Obviously, this company is fraud. They post the rate when flights are first released and not current rates or flights that have availability. They called me in the morning and that everything is clearly stated on their website, but that is not the case. Finally found the disclaimer about their rates and flight info buried in the middle of their terms and conditions on the smallest print ever.

Negative experience: I booked a flight through Travelo1, only to receive a call two minutes later, telling me there were no actual seats available at this price and I was on standby. I could not get a refund. My only choices were to keep my fingers crossed with standby or pay almost double the original price to upgrade my fare. My guess is that any positive reviews on this site are fake -- if you are willing to sell seats on an airplane that do not exist, you are certainly willing to write fake reviews. Don't be fooled. You will be scammed.

Negative experience: I bought a plane ticket through these people originally for $150 and they called me to say there were no more seats available and that it is nonrefundable. I had to pay another $200 to get the ticket I wanted and when I checked my flight on the delta website it was a different day then what I had told them so they made me pay another $138 to rebook it to the correct date. Don’t waste your time doing business with these people. Their customer service is terrible!

Negative experience: This is a dangerous organization. They are very much like the call centers in India that try to extract personal information from Americans in order to commit identity theft. This is not a travel agency. They will claim that they are an airline (British Airways, American airlines, etc.) and charge you ridiculously high prices for international travel. Other airlines have contacted me and stated that this is a fraudulent company who have tried to book tickets in the past while impersonating those airlines. Credit card companies also flag their transactions. Charles and Tom are two of the people that work here. It appears that the entire staff is comprised of Indians. They need to be reported to the New York authorities. AVOID.

Negative experience: Absolute Fraud. I purchased a ticket and twice they changed the reservation on their own and billed my credit card without authorization. The flight I booked $350 8 hour total flight time. Now I’m in a flight $558 27 hour trip.

Negative experience: I booked a premium economy airline ticket for $1100–my reciept from this company shows confirmation of the same. They actually booked me a basic economy ticket which I could have done myself for $550, but still charged me $1100. Upon calling them, they tried to deflect to the airline, a new agent who “made a mistake”, and then just told me I should have known better. It took dozens of calls, different agents saying only the original agent could speak to me, the original agent being unavailable, and then finally the rudest supervisor who told me the original agent made a mistake, but that I should have known better. She told me my only recourse was to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Honestly, worst customer service I have ever seen and downright fraud—I bought one thing, which they admit and provided documentation for, and gave me something else worth half the cost.

Negative experience: Bunch of filthy Indians running a roadside scam from their basement. They'll steal your CC info and charge random amounts that you won't be able to recognise in your bank statement as well. STAY AWAY! I repeat STAY AWAY!

They tried to scam me a few months ago, I bought a cheap ticket and then they called me saying the flight is overbooked, and then when I tried moving my flight they said it would be an increase- kept changing stories. I finally got fruturated and tried cancelling but they don't let you cancel w/o a flight. We were about to get another flight and then they said we can't check any extra bags in the airline but you can check in your bags at the airport quite easily. We tried cancelling. One of the ladies tried to threaten me and my mom, told her she'd have to pay them credit. Thankfully we are not naive and we hung up before we confirmed our flight. But then they called again and again and again with different people who were trying to make us look dumb and then I just blocked their contacts. You're better off paying a couple hundreds then dealing with this company; I hope they shut down cause all they do is lie and I don't even think they are real. Just scammers.

Immediately after booking on their website they call you and say this fare does not include any luggage or seats - if you say that is fine they then change the story to the fare is not available anymore. Negative experience: I booked my flight with them. After completing my payment the message popped up they will confirm in 24 hours. The next morning they called telling my my flight costs increased from $700 to $1,200 because the seats were no longer available. I was polite and asked them to cancel at which point they stated I cannot cancel because my reservations class does not have a cancellation. I called my credit card and blocked their payment. I am going to report them to consumer affairs. They are selling a product for a price that is not available and capturing your personal demographic information including Date of birth and credit card number. Then up selling the product that they did y advertise. Be very careful to am surprised they are able to operate I. The United States. I also want to add they get very rude when you tell them you do not want to purchase.

I bought a ticket to Punta Cana on the 15th of March. I am to travel today 14th of May. I tried to check in at midnight but the airline could see my reservation. I contacted United Airlines, and they said my reservation was for the 13th of May. I told them I have an itinerary from the agent for the 14th of may. They said I have a flexible ticket that cAn be changed and only the agent can do it. I started calling their customer service, from midnight, I couldn't sleep. They did not pick up until 6am. And they lied to me until 8pm that they were working on getting me a flight for today. I ended up buying another ticket. I plan to sue this company because they caused me so much horrors. They are a bunch of liars. At some point, these Indians would speak Spanish when I call, pretending to be spinach when 7mI know their accent. I called over 30 times. If you use them, they are bad luck. Be careful

Negative experience: PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ARE VICTIMIZED SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. They sell you an economy ticket, you get an email saying your ticket will be confirmed in 24 hours. An hour later a well wisher calls you that you need to upgrade for $1100 dollars or your ticket will not be issued because “all the seats in economy class are sold out”. These people speak in thick accent and don’t have any regards for consumers’ rights. Easy fix is to call your credit card company right away and block the charges after explaining the scam.

We got a confirmation number and got a call about 2 hours later from our agent saying our new price was almost 800.00 with only one stop instead of two. Told them to cancel my wife’s flight. Negative experience: This is new level of scamming! They ask for all of your details and claim that there are cheap flights, but then they will call you saying that there are no flights that they can book at this price and you have to buy something that costs minimum 2 times more than your initial price. If you say that you are not interested, they will say that the only way they can return the money is e-money on some travel booking platform. It doesn't make any sense, because the booking cannot be completed if the tickets we were interested in are not available, but they claim that noo booking is completed and we cannot return money. All kind of psychological pressure and efforts to make you overpay for the tickets that you are not interested in. Please don't waste your time on these kinds of stuff and book it directly from the airline's website. They will not leave you in peace and bother you with any kinds of phone calls, messages and emails knowing that you are not interested!

Negative experience: "If it's too good to be true, then it probably is". This is a classic bait & switch. After you purchase your ticket, they will call you & inform you that the ticket is not available for whatever reason but they have availability for more money if you upgrade your ticket. If you try to cancel within 24 hours they will tell you they can only give you credit, not a cash refund. Ron and other representatives then proceeded to call and email me for days trying to "process my ticket". It's a lie they are unable to process your reservation. I wouldn't be surprised if they wrote the good reviews themselves.

Negative experience: Like many others, I was scammed too. They went so far as to doctor documents with United’s logo confirming business class- when I logged into united it was economy. Repeated request for cancellation and refund ignored. Oh and besides my paying united directly for economy tickets ( they logged in with my information to airline website, confirmed with carrier) they put a charge from Travelo1 for $3700. Bait and switch! This is fraud and it is illegal. I could have booked myself less $3700. Do not attempt business with them. I plan to report them to FTC and BBB. They should be shut down and fined- if not jailed.

Negative experience: Please be aware that this company is a scam, I booked a flight with them for a friend, the transaction came through as Delta and whatever fee travel01 took for themselves. Upon reaching to the airport my friend was notified the reservation # was not his but someone else, he was not booked. We tried calling travel01 as they are the booking agent but they keep hanging up. They are Indians with English first names and no last name. We later realize that they had scammed $985 for trip booked in December in heights of the Christmas season for an international flight, leaving my friend the only option to buy a more expensive ticket to travel. We were not successful in getting a refund. THEY ARE SCAMMERS! This has taught me to only book on airline sites or reputable agents such as Expedia.

I bought a ticket for a reasonable price in the web, but later on a representative of this company call me and try to change the price of my ticket for $1000(just one way trip... a bite and switch scam)... was very annoying they made me waste my time, also lie to me in my face, impersonating his supervisor changing his voice in English.. later on they continued to bother me even through WhatsApp call... threatening me that my reservation can't be canceled and they are getting that money but I had already canceled my credit card... I don't know how a company like this is regulated in united states they made profit taking advantage of the wealthy of American people.

I booked my flight with them, and in few seconds after I booked the flight, they called me saying, they don’t have that airline, the airport or the day available, I asked them to cancel the ticket, they told me they can’t, they also told me I can’t pay for my bag at the airport. They tried to force me to book with them any flight available, I had to call my bank and cancel my debit card to prevent them to take the money from my bank account. The person who answered the phone was an Indian guy who pretended he didn’t speak English, please avoid this agency, they traumatized me. This is a FRAUDULENT BUSINESS!!!! I booked 2 tickets for my kids on a one way ticket from Trinidad to Ny in October 2023 to travel in February 2024. I had booked with a different agency for them to go down in February cause my husband and I went down earlier for carnival so they were coming back with us from Trinidad When we got to the airport the receptionist at AA Airlines say our tickets was not confirmed. I tried to get this agency couldn’t get them. We ended up staying another night down there and had to pay a lot of money to get back to NYC. They blamed AA airlines but I gave Travel 01 my money they don’t want to give me my money back. I paid them$1160.64 and I paid over $1800 to get back to NYC Was sick with frustration. It’s better if you go to a different agency and pay a little more . At least you won’t be paying a whole lot more like me and the stress.I got a lawyer.I WANT ALL MY MONEY THAT I GAVE THEM BACK

Negative experience: Stay away from those scammers. Fare rates on their website are fake they will call you immediately after booking to get more money from you.

Negative experience: Scam company. 'Booked flights online', gave credit card details then received 3 calls afterwards saying those seats were no longer available and trying to get me to pay more. Booked elsewhere.

Negative experience: Buyer beware. Absolutely DO NOT use this company. They are highly unprofessional and unethical. They charged us for an itinerary that we did not agree to and wanted to take almost $800 of our money because of it.

I booked a flight with them gave all the information about my credit card Ticket price was $247. Soon after booking I received an email that the flight I booked is sold out now I gotta pay the double price for a new ticket and not even getting my departure Airport I have to travel NYC to catch the flight. I asked them I don’t like the itinerary and wanted my refund. The lady was super rude accusing me for nothing and flatly refused to refund. It’s a nightmare. I was shocked how they can play this game. Simply stay away from it. Buy your tickets directly from Airline or trusted website.

Positive experience: Didn't appreciate the "bait and switch". First price was tickets "not in main cabin" and absolutely no bags. With that said the agent was very helpful and worked with us for a couple of days. She continued to follow- up and find the best airport, times, and price. Would definitely recommend.

I have been going back and forth with them since 4 weeks now, no refund has been made. I am interested in filling a class action about this people.
