Negative experience: So you’ve paid a $50 deposit from a nicely dressed employee claiming they’ll give you free dining vouchers, show tickets, etc. here’s how it works: You go to a property 15 mins off the strip and check in at the desk. There’s seating like at the DMV where you wait for your name to be called by your dedicated salesperson. You were told the presentation is at 9:30am, it’s actually at 10. You have a light breakfast (granola bar/pastry, orange, yogurt) and your salesperson makes small talk and asks you questions about travel/vacation. Your salesperson will give you a guide of the property for 2 hours and bring you to a room with small tables to present pamphlets/booklets. They will ask their manager to quote you a price. The manager comes with a quoted price (ours was over 11k) it’s a ‘today only special offer’ (12/21 was the last day of their special close out or so they say). You decline. They leave to let you think about it, you decline again when they come back. They take you down to an exit survey area. In this area you are presented with an even more discounted price after you tell them what you were offered upstairs (ours was $4,900). You decline. They give you an exit slip of paper and you go to another room to receive your gifts. At the gifts area you sit at a cubicle with another employee who gives you vouchers and coupons for your agreed upon gifts and who processes your deposit refund. All in all be prepared to be there for at least 3 hours, it’s not any faster the more interested you are. Be prepared to say no and be firm about it, it’s a high pressure environment and they build it up a lot to get you to cave. It was interesting seeing the south point casino but ultimately I’m not a fan of their deceptive sales tactics.

Negative experience: Sale man at the Strat hotel is very very rude and so annoying person. They try to sell me the ticket and I said that I’m not interested right now I need to check in first. So make he so upset. Then he make the stupid joke to us and he said “ YOU GUYS SO FUNNY TO ME”. They will tell you you will get free items, casino play, etc AND that your length is “based on interest” - NOT true. Negative experience: Scam, scam, scam, as soon as you walk through the doors of the Excalibur Hotel you are ushered off to the side to what you believe is check in, they sell you tickets at a discounted rate for Vegas shows and tell you to pick them up from a new Hotel that MGM are opening and this is their promotion. They are not affiliated with MGM and fail to tell you that in order to get the tickets you need to sit through a 2 hour time share presentation. This is misleading and they are lying about their intentions, you don’t find this out until after you have paid for the tickets. When you ask for a refund you are told to go to the other location as they can’t refund you onsite, but will happily take your Money. This is fraudulent and they need to be held accountable. Refund my money or I will keep posting about this fraudulent activity.

Negative experience: They sold a vacation for us in October 2023. The lady said multiple times, we can cancel our trip anytime and we will get a full refund. When we called them to request a cancelation then I got the information I should cancel it in 30 days after I paid the vacation otherwise there is no refund. Negative experience: Horrible, one Bradford Palmer in MGM gave us what was supposed to be $200 gambling coupons for Casino Royale, in exchange for a 2 hour Wyndham Vacation pitch. Guys, please save your vacation time, Casino Royale is a rat and roach infested place, where those supposed $200 vouchers can only be used inthe most defunct, oldest slot machines in that hellhole of a place. Also you cannot win playing on tbose machines, it says so clear as day that you would not be able to be cashed out even if you were ever to win. Save your time, save your vacation and give Brad and Wyndham a wide berth! The sticky, dirty carpet and the sewer stench will leave you regretting your life choices. Furthermore you will not be able to order an Uber or Lyft out of there, you will have to walk to Harrahs or Venetian because the place is no longer recognized on the map.

Negative experience: Wanted to give them zero that too a big one.. I planned a trip with my family few months back through vacation vip take a break travel. I was supposed to check in on 2nd June 2024 and duration of my stay was supposed to be for 4 nights 5 days. I paid them and reserved everything in advance. I have a proof of that. I tried to contact them on the given number but on weekends office was closed. I can’t describe the trauma we faced. This is pathetic. They have ruined our vacation. Then we booked hotel by ourself which was not upto the mark it was so stingy so had to leave that in 3 hours then checked in to another hotel that was more than expected cost. So basically we were spending money on Uber and different hotels rather than visiting places. Then on Monday I called them several times but they keep transferring my call. They literally refused to book hotel for us and also refused to give us refund. This is my worst experience ever. Till date nobody from them called us back for being sorry and neither for refund. Shameless company. Or I must say they are fraud….. this trip was the most disastrous trip of my life…

Negative experience: I haven't even taken my trip yet but the resort that they tell you you're going to stay in is the exploria express it has five pools and then they call me and tell me that I'm staying at the Comfort Inn. Negative experience: I was a guest for someone that had booked a trip with Take A Break. Melanie, was beyond a jerk, and I only use jerk because I can't use stronger language on a review, didn't care what problems we were having, criticized us for our trip and timing, and refused to escalate our issues to someone that could have actually help us. After sharing our difficulties with the visitor center in Fort Lauderdale, the manager their said her attitude was beyond ignorant, what she said was a lie, and she should have absolutely escalated our problems. As for the company, the hotel they booked for us in Orlando was convenient but not great, and for the money spent for the vacation package, we could have gotten a cheaper room in a nicer hotel booking on our own since you are on the hook for the fees and taxes you still have to pay for. Speaking of fees and taxes, the rental car they booked for us was through Budget Rental Car, and the taxes and fees were $900 extra for eight days. Again, something we could have gotten significantly cheaper on our own. The company and reps didn't know the times for the cruise we were supposed to be taking from Florida to the Bahamas, so us and 15 other travelers were turned away from the gate because "we had showed up after they had closed the doors". Use Take A Break at your own risk.

Negative experience: This is a scam, they promised us a 4 star resort when I booked the vacation and instead gave us Comfort Inn, which is a nasty hotel lacking minimum basics! The carpets smell so nasty, there are cockroaches in the floor and the shower was not working. Take a break travel guys promised us a 4 star hotel and gave this dirty place instead! Positive experience: So far I’m not extremely happy with Take A Break Travel. After two months of having this vacation booked, I spoke to a lady yesterday who informed that the place we are supposed to be staying (in 4 days) was heavily damaged by last years hurricane. My experience with their representative, Yesl, was extremely frustrating. Not only was Yesl unhelpful, but they also lied about management contacting me. Positive experience: Timeshare we looked at was disappointing. The resort we stayed at (club Wyndham) was better than the one we came to see. (Weston). The only issue at Club Wyndham was the charge for parking 20.00 per day and the $250 incidental charge , which we are suppose to get back in 5-7 bus days. But.. we'll see. Take a Break travel should let you know this ahead of time. And the Margaritaville Cruise was ok, but should be called a Booze Cruise. And the ship is in no way as pleasant as Carnival Cruise.
