Fantastic experience: My fiance & I came to triple A Wake Forest for a wheel alignment, unfortunately when we left the shop the problem was not fixed! We met with the manager Duane Sayaloune, he was awesome, very understanding and wanted to resolve the problem. After listening to our concerns he refunded our money! Fantastic experience: I appreciated Duane Sayaloune and his team during my recent car servicing appt. They were on time, kind, and professional. I have a 2020 Tahoe that needed an oil change, cabin filter replaced, and new wipers. Would recommend.
Negative experience: Dropped off my vehicle for a complicated heater core replacement. On my vehicle you have to remove the entire dashboard to access the heater core for the replacement. Due to complications that could have not been AAA's fault, they had the vehicle for 8 days. I received the truck back and noticed a series of items that weren't working that were working before AAA got the vehicle: the driver's door lock and unlock button no longer functioned, the back up collision warning alarm no longer worked, and the fan that heated and cooled the truck's cab ran on full blast and could not be turned off or turned down. Additionally, there was a large gouge in the paint on the front passenger door. I returned the truck to them the following Saturday and told him I'd be out of town and would be back on the following Thursday, which is today, I just got off the phone with them and the truck is not ready for pickup. I found this very disappointing. I found room to excuse some of the small errors made reinstalling the dash in where some of the functions weren't fully restored. However, having the truck an additional 4 days and not being able to address these issues is unacceptable. Note, I'm leaving this review before I'm in possession of my vehicle knowing that these reviews can be amended. In the end they had the vehicle for an additional 7 days, Saturday to Saturday. It was difficult not having the truck for the 14 or 15 days they had it in total. Everything appears to be working properly now. And during the period of this repair, the shop changed to a new manager. He's an experienced gentleman and he seemed like a relatively good fellow. He didn't charge me for an additional repair they felt they needed to make and I wish them luck in the future.
Fantastic experience: Nice office with tons to offer. Not just discounted tickets but they also have a full auto repair shop attached. AAA members also get a discount on car services. Services are comparable to other shops but after the discount it usually ends up being cheaper. If you need anything for your car make sure to come and see what they have to offer, you won't be disappointed.

Positive experience: I appreciate the quality of work and customer service. However, I dislike the fact that they operate like dealers--always finding additional things that need repair. You won’t be pressured, but it can be stressful hearing that this newly discovered issue MIGHT become a problem. Ultimately this is a business practice driven by AAA not staff. It’s upselling or suggestive retail. Each repair includes separe labor charges. Labor costs are usually more than parts so this is where shops make their money.
Negative experience: If you have a AAA towing membership it is absolutely useless they take hours on end to even give you an idea of when someone’s will be there you can speak directly to a representative without first being on the phone for 20 mins and they have even canceled my service while I’m stuck on the side of the road and didn’t notify me of anything so I call back and place yet another request and I’m stuck at the same place I started if I would recommend any other towing membership over them

Negative experience: How do you rate customer service in a place where there isn’t any? I called the office to see if I could walk in and get my passport photo taken, another office answered because no-one at this location answered. The other Raleigh office told me I don’t need an appointment. I show up at Wake Forest and basically was shoo-ed away, being told “the other offices don’t understand we are understaffed”. Literally there were 2 people in travel (one playing on their phone) not a customer in site, and probably another 4-6 people from other departments also not dealing with customers. Clearly it doesn’t sound like they’re too busy to help customers. This is easily the worst customer service I have ever seen.
Positive experience: Lady I spoke to on the phone was rude and not helpful, never had issue with customer service before with them.

Negative experience: AAA wanted to charge $120 to polish headlights to pass inspection. Took my car elsewhere & it passed w/o needing to polish headlights. Years ago I took my car to AAA and they tried to perform unnecessary repairs back then. Looks like they haven’t changed. Im not going back to AAA auto repair ever again. Sorry for the negative review but this is my experience.
Fantastic experience: Thoroughly tested a new battery that failed to start my car after it was garaged for almost 3 weeks. The testing indicated that the battery was good but there was excessive current drain from the car after it was turned off. The service advisor was aware of a possible problem with the bluetooth unit in the 2005 Acura. I verified this the next day since the unit was warm even after the car sat in the garage all night.

Negative experience: We have used AAA for towing and it has been great! But I do not recommend bringing your vehicle to this AAA. They have been unkind, overpriced, and it seems trying to find ways to get more money out of us than necessary. If you are wanting a place that cares about their customers and treating them fairly you might want to try somewhere else.
Negative experience: I used them for all of my Auto needs since I moved to Wake Forest 6 years ago. About 1/2 years ago they changed managers and I have had issues with all of them. I am very disappointed with the replacements. This last time, I was disappointed at the way I handled a disagreement and do not plan to request their help in the future.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding! They dispatched a service to come unlock my truck when I locked myself out while hunting. I was way down a dirt road in a wooded area well off the highway. The AAA dispatcher was able to find my location on a map and send someone to help me. I highly recommend AAA Wake Forest.

Negative experience: They have disappointed me more than my parents did by telling me about the Easter Bunny. Last straw was the oil leaking out of my car onto my driveway after my oil change.
Negative experience: I had AAA replace my ignition lock cylinder, after my key kept getting stuck in my ignition. 2 days later, my car completely shut off as I was making a turn, and I ended up running onto the sidewalk (thankfully there no pedestrians on the sidewalk.) Then, when I returned home, my key was once again, stuck in my ignition. When I called AAA, Glenn informed me that I would need to bring my car in and pay another $400 to have it fixed. I took my car to another mechanic and he told me (that in his professional opinion) my clock spring, behind my steering wheel had been messed with. It is my opinion that this was intentional as to create more unnecessary mechanical issues, in order to charge me more $$$. I ended up canceling my AAA membership due to this experience. Egregious customer service and poor quality of work. AAA Wake Forest = Grade: FFF
Positive experience: Well, the technician Kyle was exceptional in explaining and trying to be as helpful as he could under new policy. The girl at the front desk however, kept trying to sell me an entire AC system from my initial phone call before agreeing to any service. That should have been my indicator but I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt. After speaking with the manager about a misdiagnosis, it was brought my attention that the new policy is the driver behind the counter womans plight. Seems like bad business practice to sell a customer a $2500 system over a $300 part and service to fix a common issue. Since AAA is now owned by an insurance co, I guess they need to make up for losses elsewhere including in several smaller sales and happily serviced customers. I guess we will have more folks becoming backyard mechanics and dumping freon into the atmosphere and going in for an AC charge only. Doesnt sound like a good revenue plan to me since I can get an entire AC kit for $500 + the $189 to charge it back up and a couple of hours on a weekend morning. I used to go to them for the ease and convenience as well as the honesty. I will go somewhere else now that sales numbers is their big driver. I refuse to be a sheep and accept sub par service.
Negative experience: I have used this business on multiple occasions. Flat tires, engine repair, oil changes. Never a problem with and without appointments. This past Saturday/5/21, I arrived at 10am for a tire fix. The response I received form the counter staff is that they are booked and can not take any one else. I further inquired about the cut off time for walk-ins and the response was 8AM. The shop opens at 8AM. She was quite happy when I left. So remember no walk-in business after 8am Saturdays.

Negative experience: DYWANE... IS THE MECHANIC, I dropped off my car to have ONE AND I REPEAT ONE PROBLEM FIXED! I was charged 1,488 and received my car back with exact SAME PROBLEM! I'm thinking they'll fix it as it was the SAME PROBLEM OCCURRING. NOPE TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER 1,300 TO GET SAID PROBLEM RESOLVED. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN HAD! I have 2 pages of things supposedly fixed.And the things they called themselves fixing did not have a issue!!!I'm disappointed and feel like they're getting over on women. Don't take your car here unless you're rich and have money to burn!!

Positive experience: Brought my vehicle in after being stranded in the middle of the night. As a AAA member, I was afforded a discount on the service but more important my vehicle was ready in 48hrs. Thinking it was a fuel pump issue and it turned out to be the O2 sensor along with the MAP. They cleaned the throttle body, spark plugs and test drive the vehicle just before the storm. I'm more than happy to have my girl back up and running. All parts, service and labor are covered under warranty so any future issue they take care of it. More than please to have it diagnosed and remedied.
Fantastic experience: I called the shop after I had my truck towed to the location, so that I could fill them in on the malfunction that I had observed; the rep. listened carefully, then informed me that it will be about seven (7) days before he will be able to pull it in the bay for diagnostics. However, two days later he called to inform me that diagnosis has been done and the preliminary cost for parts & labor, which I then authorized, and he also sent me a complete bumper to bumper diagnosis & recommendations (per the vehicle manufacture), for my awareness only (no attempt to up-sell / up-charge). At the end of all this; I was surprised to receive a call on Saturday morning (before I was even out of bed); four days earlier than initially promised diagnosis date; the call was to inform me that the repairs are completed, and my vehicle is ready for pickup (at a discounted cost), I could not have been more satisfied.

Positive experience: They do good work, but they do not understand what an appointment reservation means. Took automobile in for a 7:30 reservation, it did not get looked at until 3:30pm, and not returned for another 24 hours. When I make a reservation, I foolishly expected that the automobile would be looked at around 7:30am. When asked what was taking so long for a basic diagnostics - I was told there were other cars that needed to be completed before mine - which I understand. This was also the excuse on why the car took 24 hours to be put back together - this I did not understand. Work we have had them do in the past was good - but the same issues with the reservations. We will just need to learn that AAA DOES NOT take reservations as represented on the their web site.
Fantastic experience: My experience with the Wake Forest store was very good. they took care of the problem (with a new battery, which is all I wanted )The problem was with AA Carolinas. I explained (to several people) That I wanted a battery delivered to my house , and installed. They sent a roll back with instructions to 'jump start', that was not what I needed nor wanted.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment for 12:30, when I got there they said they didn't have me down until 1:00pm. Then they asked me which oil change package I wanted, starting at $49.99. When I made the appointment they said the oil change and tire rotation with synthetic blend would be $34.95. They stated they didn't even do synthetic blends anymore. They were unapologetic and unwilling to make things right.

Negative experience: My truck broke down on the side of the road and AAA towed it into AAA Car Care of Wake Forest. AAA diagnosed the issue as an issue with the transmission and the rear differential. They quoted me ~$8000 in repairs including replace the transmission and rear axle. The value of the truck was between $4000-$6000. So I sold the truck to a certified ford mechanic who worked on transmissions. He spend a few hours of labor and a $4 part to fix. If you get an estimate that you don't feel is right, I would recommend taking somewhere else.

Negative experience: They are currently understaffed and did not even start work on day of appointment which was made well in advance. Very disappointing after 5 years of good service. Why are good employee's leaving?

Fantastic experience: In my 30 years in the United States, never have I been able to give this whole hearted review. They were simply professional, no up selling, courteous and most importantly, job well done. If you are interested to know the price, they charged me half of what I paid for my previous oil change, for synthetic oil!! Tyre rotation was $30...but for whatever reason, they removed the changes!! Needless to say, I did not ask them why!!!!

Positive experience: The 1st pulled up one of the mechanics had parked 1 of their maintenance cars in front of the charger but by the time I drove around the building he had moved the car so I was able to charge . EV go is a little pricey they charge per minute and the charger slows down even before it gets to 80% so that makes them more money electrify America only charges you for what you get that a price
