Fantastic experience: Good experience, the bus was on time and the staff was efficient. If you bought tickets online, you need to check in with the staff at the counter to document luggage. It is advisable to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus.

Negative experience: I don't even know if I should give it one star :/ first time traveling but the seats are a nightmare, super uncomfortable for such a long trip, Dallas-Monterrey. Yes, they are very spacious, very clean, the A/C is great, it has charging connections, and the bus is very nice, but the driver was in a very bad mood. I definitely won't travel with them again, first and last time.

Negative experience: The logistics are terrible. I came from Austin, Texas. They dropped me off in San Antonio and made me wait 2 hours to board the other bus. They charged me more than the price they quoted me over the phone. Terrible service.

Negative experience: From Dallas to Monterrey, the bus was double-decker and very comfortable, except that the socket to charge the phone and the screen didn’t work at the seat I got. On the way back, I got a single-decker bus (there weren't any double-deckers) and the seats were very uncomfortable, almost right next to each other, making the long trip very tiring. I don’t know if I would use the service again.

Fantastic experience: Transit terminal between the countries of Mexico and the US in Prevost and Volvo units. This terminal operates at certain hours, so if you arrive in the early morning, you will not find it in operation. From here, you can reach Monterrey and Dallas, as well as other intermediate points.

Positive experience: Well, I was just there by chance, I haven't used the service, but the facilities are very good, parking, air-conditioned waiting room, restrooms.

Positive experience: I can only say that they should provide information about how long it takes to transfer buses; it is a huge waste of time to wait for almost 12 hours to change buses.

Positive experience: Good customer service from the lady in front and very friendly while speaking. What I didn't like was that my bus left in the morning at 10:45 and ended up arriving at 1:10 in the afternoon. The bus doesn't have a plug to charge the phone and the seats are full of dust. I just suggest that they at least keep the buses clean and have plugs since these are 20 to 24-hour trips. How is my phone supposed to last that long without dying? They provide good service, but the quality of the buses is low.

Negative experience: I bought tickets for a departure that I had to change, and when making the change, I clearly told that Araceli that I needed 4 seats in the front. I agreed to take an earlier departure in order to keep my front seats. I don't know if this person is just incompetent or if my changing the departure caused her so much annoyance that she gave me the seats at the back, as far away as possible from what I had requested. The worst part is that she told me she had reserved the second-row seats, and I found out that she gave me the back seats on the day of departure just minutes before taking the bus, with nothing I could do. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with this bus line. I do not recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Personally, I like to travel by Tornado buses. At the moment, I have nothing negative to say; I love traveling.

Positive experience: This company had a good schedule on rides that is the main reason I picked it. However, I did not like that when I arrived to the office they told me the bus had already passed by there( it wasn’t even take off time yet) they had to call and see if it would come by. Lady at desk was not rude, she was helpful, but I was disappointed that I wouldn’t get home that day.. luckily the bus did show up an hour later. We had to get off in San Antonio because they had to do bus maintenance ( I thought it was a straight ride home with only one stop for food). The bus driver was nice and drove pretty fast and safe. If I need to take a bus again regardless these two things I didn’t like.. I’d probably go with them.. hopefully my experience is different next time.

Negative experience: 0 stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This is a company that will scam you. They have tickets for purchase on their website, but do not show up to the pick-up and when you call for a refund they tell you that they will not refund you. I purchased a ticket 30 minutes before the bus was picking people up in New Braunfels to Austin as the website allowed me to purchase this. The bus never came, and when I spoke to customer service they stated that it was because we scheduled the ticket 30 minutes prior to the departure time. They stated that you need to make the reservation at least two hours in advance, however, the system will allow you to purchase a ticket up until the time of the departure? This is a scam, and no one will assist in getting a refund.

Negative experience: Probably the worst service I’ve ever had the displeasure of witnessing. Rude. No communication. Bud ran an hour late. Never got an email confirmation. All in all please use another company.

Fantastic experience: THIS is one of the BEST SERVICES that I have experienced! It outdoes Greyhound and the Mega Bus. The bus stops are short and sweet and your immediately back on the road again. Staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. There are outlets on the bus to plug in your phone charger and other items as well. At each station stop there is internet wi-fi,however there is not any wi-fi on your actual bus. My hopes are that this will change in the future.UPDATE: Well the 2floor Mega Buses DO have wi-fi access. I spoke too soon. The seats are comfortable and the buses rarely get over crowded. You can travel a number of places with this one service. I see Tornado Bus becoming the dominant form of bus travel in the future. Thanks Tornado Bus!-S.Miller

Negative experience: About 3 months ago, I went with my wife and son from San Antonio to Nuevo Laredo. They charged me $65 for each of them. I was going to Querétaro, and they told me that I would transfer in Nuevo Laredo. There they charged me $100 for each one in cash as well because their terminal supposedly wasn’t working. From here in Austin, they charge $115 all the way to Querétaro. I feel like I was robbed, but oh well.

Negative experience: Awful experience. 20° outside and they had the A/C on full blast! Transfer went from what was supposed to be 2 hours, to 5 hours! Driver was rude and missed exits so he had to do u-turns on the highway! Also driver made a big deal and did not want to drop us off on our destination location, which we paid extra for! Also outlets don’t work, so I couldn’t charge my phone for 15 hours. They say they offer wifi, but that doesn’t work either. Definitely do not recommend this place. If I could give zero stars I would.

Fantastic experience: Very fast, cheap and very friendly. They don't make as many stops as others. If you're looking for comfort, go elsewhere, but they will stop many times, take much longer and it will cost you more. I recommend Tornado 100%.

Negative experience: Don't use this bus line. They lost my suitcase that contained my son's clothes. Imagine arriving at your destination and having to buy clothes for 2 weeks of stay. And the worst part is that they only give a credit of $100.00 when the value of all the clothing was much more than that. This is an insult to the customer. I will look for another bus line.

Negative experience: They are the most unsanitary and uncomfortable buses I have ever seen, I don't know how it is possible that people still travel on such long trips in such disgusting buses. Not recommended at all. My trip was from Dallas to Morelia, I couldn't stand it past Nuevo Laredo and had to transfer to ETN. Please don't travel on these types of buses, don't make your trip a burden!
