Our comment from TraTraTravel about Vacations Made Easy:
Vacations Made Easy is a travel service that offers a variety of ticket options for shows and attractions across the United States. While many users have had positive experiences finding great deals on discounted tickets, especially for activities like the Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show and local shows, there are several complaints regarding customer service and the business practices associated with ticket purchases.
Some of the highlights include:
- Access to money-saving deals for popular attractions.
- Quick and efficient service at the ticket pickup locations.
- Friendly staff who assist with recommendations in many cases.
However, it's important to be aware of the challenges customers have faced:
- Many customers reported having to pick up tickets in person, which can be inconvenient, especially when traveling.
- Complaints about hidden fees and prices that are often higher than direct purchases from venues.
- Frustrations regarding the lack of refunds for canceled or altered bookings, often with reported difficulties reaching customer support.
- Some negative experiences involve high-pressure sales tactics to promote timeshare presentations while customers are there to pick up tickets.
In summary, while Vacations Made Easy provides opportunities for discounts, prospective users should proceed with caution and consider booking directly through venues to avoid potential issues.
Vacations Made Easy: Reviews
Negative experience: Worst third part Bad customer service Bad website description Non refundable money in time
Positive experience: Despite the bad reviews, I had a good experience with a couple of tickets to a local show. 4 stars because a bit inconvenient to have to go pick up voucher at the office, but after calling them, they turned them into etickets.
Negative experience: This is a sleazy site out to catch unsuspecting tourists. They make things so difficult - example , while you can buy from official site and you will receive tickets by email, this site asks to you come to their office and collect the tickets ! Two trips instead of one. And it’s not any cheaper than official site. They don’t have 24 hr customer service. Let me see if they return my call and voicemail.
Negative experience: We went on the "Christmas Light Tour" and it turned out to be a Redneck Comedy Bus Tour?? Comedian was funny but that is not what we signed up for. I wanted to see lights, saw very few from a school bus window, and was really looking forward to it, so I was super disappointed. Then they stopped at Island for everyone to drink for an hour, and i dont drink and my husband is in AA so didn't appreciate this at all. It was nowhere in the description. This activity was completely misrepresented. The only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 was bc of Peggy at check in, she was a wonderful, friendly person. I would not use Vacations Made Easy ever again
Negative experience: I DON'T RECOMMEND USING THEM FOR 3RD PARTY SERVICES!! It wasn't handled correctly. I've read many reviews on you all and they are all pretty much bad. Scammers. It was the Welcome Center in Nashville that started this whole thing. They closed an hour and a half earlier than listed hours, so I couldn't get the vouchers for Redneck Comedy Christmas Lights Tour. And since it was a 3rd party transaction, it wasn't my fault that I didn't call a number listed because I thought what would that do? It's not the actual vendor I'm going to. Everything got messed up and us as a family of 3, with a 12 year old daughter, couldn't enjoy Christmas lights tour and you all got $136 of my money. I'm the planner of my family and I pay attention to detail, no where on my email or text did it say go to Ole Moonshine Distillery in Downtown Nashville. Since I didn't have vouchers I wouldn't have known that. You all should have a heart and refund me since I didn't get to use the service. I DON'T RECOMMEND USING THEM FOR 3RD PARTY SERVICES
Negative experience: Do not use them! I paid for a activity. When we got there it was wrong one. They would not do a refund. This is a timeshare(RCI). THIS DEFINITELY NOT A VACATION MADE EASY!!!
Negative experience: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY FRAUDULENTLY CHARGED MY CARD FOR SERVICES I DID NOT APPROVE. WHEN I CALLED TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES THEY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN
Negative experience: I absolutely do not recommend booking with Vacations to Go Tenn. There’s no accommodation for traveling and if you’re unable to make your time due to unforeseen circumstances- they absolutely refuse to work with you. Do NOT waste your money- find a different agency!!!!! Beware!!!! Once they get your payment they’re done with you!!!
Fantastic experience: Made it so easy to get into places!!would recommend them!
Negative experience: Not legit. Refused my refund. Customer service not helpful. Money making scheme. Very disappointed I was scammed.
Negative experience: Never again will I book anything over this site! I had the first irritation when after after I booked online that I should pick up my tickets in Pompano. What the...I thought I arrived at the ticket place in Pompano a bit on a tight schedule due to traffic issues. But I would have made the cruise on time with the Jungle Queen in Ft. Lauderdale on December 8th at 2:30 PM if the clerk there would have listened to my plees that I only need tickets. It would have only taken a minute to print out and I would have been on time. Instead I saw the Jungle Queen embark while I just reached the parking lot because this employee a fine specimen for inflexibility basically ignored me. His only advice for me in the future was to arrive 4 hours prior until my trip starts. I then informed him that would be unappropriate to be 4 hours early for a 90 minute boat ride for 60 bucks. The nice lady at the ticket booth in Ft. Lauderdale on the other hand rebooked our boat for the following Sunday. That's a thumbs up there! I believe they send you to Pompano so they can scam you out for another deal, most lickely overpriced Robert Wise
Negative experience: I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY A MINUS 100 IF POSSIBLE. I purchased a Ft Lauderdale riverfront sightseeing boat tour From Vacations Made Easy for my party of 6. After having made the payment, I was informed via email 1 day later that the vouchers would need to be picked up at an address in Pompano Beach which is 30 minutes distance from the departure cruise location. Since then, I have attempted to call and speak to their customer service people (first spoke to Carla, then to her supervisor Vivian) to have the vouchers emailed or post mailed to me beforehand (we had 3 weeks before our cruise so plenty of time to make accommodations to our request). Our flight into Ft Lauderdale arrives an hour before the tour begins and that is not possible to go pick the vouchers up elsewhere. They repeatedly told me that the vouchers have to be picked up in person in Pompano Beach (and if you read the other reviews, you will read that there are timeshare presentations involved to waste your precious vacation time). In today's world of emails, scanners, the phone texts, how is it possible that vouchers "absolutely" need to be picked up in person? They refused to send me the voucher via email or post (even if there are 15 days before my purchased tour). Needless to say, I have tried to cancel the purchase via their email link (but as you can imagine, it is not possible) and since then have had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! AVOID THEM SO YOU CAN SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF HASSLE AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION TIME.
Negative experience: Vacations Made Easy is a ripoff. Do not use them. In Pigeon Forge I paid them $37 more than if I had booked directly with the vendor - Redneck comedy bus tour. When I called it to their attention, they offered to unapologetically cancel with a 35% cancelation fee! In addition, they didn't allow you to print the tickets. They insisted that you drive several miles to their Vacation center so they could try to sell you other crap and get you to go on a timeshare scam. I wish I had read the reviews so I would have seen they are a total ripoff. Do not use them!!!!
Negative experience: Placed order for tickets to be emailed….. told we had to pick them up. So we went out of our way to get the the tickets several hours earlier. Hour and a half before the show, we get them emailed to us. We stopped what we were doing to go to the store front to get our tickets. Then had them try a few sales pitch’s in order to sell us more tickets to other things. Not today… sheesh
Negative experience: The absolute WORST customer service. DO NOT use this company. Buy whatever tickets straight from the business itself. They over charged me, hung up in my face multiple times, a woman yelled at me and told me no to refunding a CHARGE I did not make. Then talked over me and told me “too bad” multiple times. I had to call several times to get an employee with a brain that immediately corrected the mistake and emailed me the correct information within 2 minutes. The previous “supervisor” as she referred to herself was speaking to me like someone on drugs that was attempting some type of robbery. Will absolutely never go near this company again. HIGHLY advise finding any other way possible to get vouchers/ tickets. This is a borderline scam.
Negative experience: THEY ARE A SCAM! If I could leave zero stars, I would. First of all, i didn't know i was booking thru a third party. That was deceptive already! I googled fun bus tours in Nashville and clicked thru unfortunately on THEIR link. I booked my tour and then couldn't find any location for the meeting place. I wanted to do a map search from my hotel. Then I got an email telling me i needed to GO IN PERSON to a different location to physically pick up vouchers. They couldn't mail or text them to me. The location was 20 minutes from the heart of Nashville and my hotel. I called to see if they'd email them and they said it HAD TO BE PICKED UP IN PERSON. I explained that I'm only there for 2 days and that's 40 minutes out of my trip and $ on Ubers both ways JUST to pick up these vouchers. I was told too bad basically. Then he said the vouchers are 1/2 mile from the meeting place so i can get them "on the way". (The voucher location, which i finally got, would NOT have been "on the way". I asked where the meeting location was and he said he'd text it to me. I hung up and got a text telling me the VOUCHER location - AGAIN! I decided to cancel and book directly with The Redneck Comedy Tour and found that there was a $50 fee to cancel, even though it initially said it was refundable. They lied! I ended up cancelling anyway. I'd probably pay $50 to uber both ways so it's even i guess. I booked directly thru the company and immediately received a link that I just show on my phone when arriving at the tour.
Negative experience: This is the worst company ever. Please don’t use them. I tried to cancel an order made in error 5 minutes after I placed the order and was told I could only get a partial refund or a gift certificate for a future order. Horrible way to treat your customers. Very condescending customer service experience. Extremely scripted. They refused to cancel the order. I hate that I even gave this company 1 penny. Please use any other company because most offer free cancelation. Should have read reviews before I went to their website. Feels like a scam to me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Negative experience: We purchased a vacation package for 9-23-2034 thru 9-26-2024. On our way there on the 23rd and in Chattanooga my wife haf a medical emergency. Was taken by ambulance to Erlanger Hospital. Called Vacations Made Easy to inform them of the situation. They refused me a credit to my card. So, I suppose this company sold me a hospital vacation package. I have used them three times, before but there will not be a fourth. Try not to get sick or die on the day of your arrival.
Negative experience: Saw Vince Gill , at Grand ole Opry Last week . Wonderful show. Only down we bought tickets through VACATIONS MADE EASY. Got cheated badly. $60 tickets for $110 each. PLUS A $60 “processing”fee. A rebate if we take a Wyndham Time share tour. Total Scam. If you see this name. Buyer Beware! RUN DONT WALK!
Negative experience: Horrible website and customer service. Realized I booked wrong within 10 minutes and asked for a full refund and was told no. Only a 65% refund! Will never use that site again and will be asking through my bank for assistance! HORRIBLE WEBSITE!
Negative experience: After driving over 500 miles getting to the Wyndham Resort we had a wild goose chase sending us all over the place trying to get the tickets and it was a nightmare I will never use the service again my mother just passed away and this is not what I needed driving around in circles trying to find tickets
Fantastic experience: I found great deal on “Rocky Tops mountain coaster “ through Vacationsmadeasy and they were exact as information provided without hassle. Initially seeing negative reviews I was little worried, but these deals are money saver for real. I enjoyed it! Staffs were really nice. I suggest everyone to read the terms and conditions in order to avoid confusion.
Negative experience: This is the worst company in the World Went to pigeon Forge got on vacation made easy To go to the Dixie stampede, I saw where you could get a room it said it was available that day so it booked me for the next day and booked the room for that night called within 30 minutes and the lady told me that I could not cancel she did give me my money back for the Dixie stampede But told me there was no way to cancel the reservation for the motel within a 30 minute timeframe. This company is a scam. Don’t use this company. They got me for $265 for a room that I never even Check into so if you’re thinking about using their services, please do not. They are a fraud and will put a hold on your credit card.
Negative experience: Did not tell us until the day of the show we had to drive to a differant town 10 miles away to pick up our tickets rather than having them waiting at the show location.
Negative experience: DO NOT use this site for purchases/bargains.When you pick up your tickets, this is a ruse to sell you Wyndam time share condo. My sister's husband and my wife's daughter had one of the worst experiences of their lives sitting through Wyndam sale pitch in exchange for bargains.Use TRIPSTER
Negative experience: wife purchased what she thought would be tickets to an activity , but it was a scam like others have said. We have called the bank and disputed the charge. Don’t waste your money or time.
Negative experience: CANCELATION / CHANGE POLICY. BUYER BEWARE! Purchased tickets on October 11th, less than 24 hours in advance. Had an emergency, that can be documented, come up and needed to cancel. The voucher states “Did something come up? No worries! Let us know any changes you'd like to make to your order and we can accommodate you until midnight October 9, 2024, for a $50 change fee. If you need to cancel your order, 100% of your vacation's value can be applied to a future vacation for up to 12 months or 65% can be refunded.” Spoke with Debbie, supposedly a supervisor, who stated that they deal with over 3000 small vendors and are unable to process refunds or provide credits. So, why does it stay on the voucher that you can get a credit for a future event? The saying that if something is too good to be true, it likely is, should have been a reminder to me. Don’t trust this business. I know that I won’t ever again.
Negative experience: Bought tickets at Ananesska in our car. Then they send an email say we have to pick up our tickets in Sevierville 30 miles away and we as for 10/10 on Thursday and they said our tickets were for the following day and charged an outrageous service fee.
Negative experience: Terrible. We had a hurricane in NC which made travel impossible. They charged us a 35% cancellation fee. I'm going to donate the remainder to the rebuilding of the damaged areas.
Negative experience: Do not waste your money! Scam! They advertise you can print your tickets! Not true! You have to physically pick up your tickets and be harassed into purchasing additional tickets or attending a time share presentation. And they advertise you can cancel and receive a full refund! False! Website is misleading. Do not bother calling customer service!
Negative experience: Horrible! They appear to be committing fraud! I would give no stars if I could! Stay away from this company!
Negative experience: HORRIBLE experience!!!!!! I requested tickets for one show and they fulfilled it with a different show but refused to refund my money!!
Negative experience: FRAUD! Do NOT use this company! If I could give no stars I would! Started my purchase 1 week ago when my transaction “declined” so I moved on to another company to purchase tickets through. 1 week LATER exactly, they charge my card.. $760 and said they can only give me 65% back.! How in the world can my transaction be declined and then mysteriously is approved 1 week later?! What in the world y'all, do NOT use this company, it is fraud!!
Negative experience: Pointless Hussle. They increase ticket prices by about 30% and require you to drive to their office for the tickets. Why not just go to the venue and buy the tickets at normal price?
Fantastic experience: We were looking for something last minute to do on the last day of our trip and we used Vacations Made Easy to do the buy one get one free ATV tour. We simply booked the tour online, they added a free Sky Ranch voucher as well for free, and we picked up the vouchers the day of the excursion at the office in Sevierville. Walked in and were out in 5 minutes. The ATV tour was excellent and Sky Ranch was surprisingly nice as well.
Negative experience: This company is Terrible they were unable to process my garentueed dolphin cruise and a supervisor said they would refund the purchase after I waited a month I spoke to a new supervisor and they said that wasn't documented and they would not do that, they are a shady company and are set up to look like a legitimate state business however they are not avoid them like the plague.
Fantastic experience: Vacations Made Easy came through during my vacation in The Smokies! On Saturday August 3rd me, my fiancee and my daughter wanted to catch a dinner show, as most of you know Dinner Shows are not cheap and with 3 of us a show costs up to $300 or more! However thanks to Vacations Made Easy we found a great BOGO Deal for Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show and what would have cost us around $250-260 only ended up costing us $135 and we had an amazing time at the show! I will definitely check up with Vacations Made Easy every time I plan a Vacation! Side Note: They didn't try to push any kind of Time Share on us, if that happened I can assume you were at the Sevierville Walmart.
Positive experience: Great deals on discounted tickets
Negative experience: The tickets were priced well. They fail to tell you that you must pick them.up.in person and get a high pressure timeshare pitch. Don't do it unless you have time to waste or want a timeshare.
Negative experience: BEWARE!!!!!!!This is a scam company. We were charged more than 2x face value for tickets to a show. When we called Vacations Made Easy, they refused to credit us the difference, and then blamed the theatre hosting the show for “telling us the real price of the tickets”.
Fantastic experience: Easy to locate their office, the bathrooms are clean and well kept, a couple photo opportunities inside and out, well priced tickets to many fun attractions, and knowledgeable staff who make sure you know everything you need to know so you can have the best time possible! What else could you ask for from a vacation planner!?!? I would highly recommend anyone planning a trip to Sevierville or Pigeon Forge to use Vacations Made Easy to purchase tickets and plan their trip!
Negative experience: Booked a ghost tour Never showed Gatlinburg TN Showed up an a nother couple did too 1/2 hr early for 1 1/2 hrs no guide
Negative experience: My recommendation is not to buy at 3rd party location like Vacation made easy, due to an error in the address, we arrived a little late for our reservation for a zipline trip, they said they could reschedule the appointment, if we had made the reservation through them but Since this was done by vacation made easy, I needed to contact them. Vacation made easy they told me all the money had been lost, no refund, no reschedule, no exchanges
Negative experience: If I could I’d give NO stars! I made reservations for Thursday Aug 1 and it got changed to Friday Aug 2. They said they were unable to change my reservation back or give a refund…they don’t care about anyone but the money.
Negative experience: Vacations made stressful. Advertised hhotel did not have what they advertised. I selected a King Suite with Jacuzzi. Also advertised a pool. They had no King suites, no jacuzzi and no pool on the premises. Spent about 2 hours correcting the situation.
Negative experience: Be very careful before you purchase anything from this company. Read the fine print. They will not give you a refund of your money even 2 minutes after you hit purchase.
Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend using this company at all. They are just a scam, their tickets are overpriced, horrible service and if you don’t attend your event on time they wouldn’t give you your tickets or refund your money at all.
Negative experience: All tickets / vouchers must be picked up in person. What a waste of time on vacation.
Negative experience: Terrible first time experience, used this agency to book a room and when I showed up it was not the room I type I choose, iv called these people several times trying to dispute the issue as for I had to pay cash at the hotel for the room I choose and I have not got anywhere, they refuse to give me a refund or even call me back, I just want this known issue to be resolved, I will NEVER!! use this agency again and neither should you, the hotels will tell you!!!
Negative experience: Do not stop at the welcome center and fall for their junk, I stopped in there and did a bundle deal that is an actual good deal and I got two tickets for the array show my wedding anniversary tomorrow night and got two tickets for skyland ranch, I immediately got 6 emails from them but when I clicked on the link to see the tickets it was blank so the lady was trying to figure it out and tried just printing the tickets but it printed out two blank pages and the manager got upset with her for taking too long with me while other customers was waiting and so he came over and said we needed to free her up and come sit down so we go sit down and he walks off and then comes back and asks what tickets we bought and now I’ve got to tell him and ruin the surprise for my wife so now wife knows her anniversary tickets and then he walks back over and asks for the confirmation code so I show him my phone and he walks away again, then a few minutes later he walks over again and says well since the array box office is closed today I don’t know when they will process it and actually send you the tickets to your email but I don’t want yall sitting here all day when yall can be out doing something, I looked over at my wife and I said that sounds like they’re kicking us out in a nice way, so we left… but we already paid for the tickets it’s already came out of my bank account and we could have went to skyland ranch today and then the array show tomorrow for our anniversary but nope now I don’t have tickets to anything even tho they already got the money and even they don’t know when I’ll get the email with the tickets and all the manager cares about is freeing up his staff to con more visitors into buying tickets for attractions and not wanting upset customers there so the other visitors won’t know you buy the tickets but never get them so now my wedding anniversary surprise to my wife is ruined and we probably won’t even get to go
Negative experience: Try to sell you everything when you go in instead of just giving voucher. And then didn’t even need the voucher. They had tickets waiting for us at pirates voyage. Tried to leave and my license was still in his hand I had to tell them I was seriously upset to get license and vouchers without a sales pitch.
Negative experience: I thought it rediculous that I had to claim my vouchers in person instead of them being emailed 10 grandchildren went on the ATVs and thought it to dangerous for the seniors to go the next day. Originally I called the day before and was told they would cancel. When I called the next day I was told that I would not get a refund as I did not give 48 hour notice. 48 hours prior there was no way for me to know that the ATV’s were hard to operate and rugged and dangerous
Negative experience: this thing works but dont expect vouchers to be emailed. you will be forced to pick them up in person so they can sell you something else.
Negative experience: Using this group creates a lot of spam emails and you can't just pick up your tickets without hearing about everything in Pigeon Forge. I call it Vacation frustration. That's how we felt when we were trying to get our Stampede tickets from them.
Negative experience: Time share scam. Lady was nice until we said no thanks to do a tour, then didn't wanna talk to us. Won't do business here again.
Negative experience: DONOT book anything ever! It’s a scam. It’s a shell company that books dummies like you and me with grand vacations and force you to watch promotions or endlessly hound you. Don’t dare to cancels because it’ll cost you a 35% restocking fee. SCAM SCAM SCAM Be very careful!
Negative experience: Would give a 0 star review if I could. I went through this place for the pirate voyage dinner because I was blind and didn’t realize they had a website but while I bought the tickets my card was declined so bought it through my mother’s card. Weeks after I payed my card they made an unauthorized transaction on my card for the tickets without my knowledge. Not until I called the place did I realize they had been payed for. We called here their records had that I had no payments so of course we called my card on fraud charges. Now that’s a whole different issue that I’m still working out. I think I should get the tickets from here for free because it was an unknown charge on my card. Not to mention the $40 up charge!
Negative experience: Hate ordering tickets and having to pick up through these places. Always try to suck you into something. Sat through a timeshare presentation at Branson once and said I’d never do it again ♂️
Positive experience: You have to go in person to retrieve your tickets even when you buy online. Allow time. Deceiving & inconvenient when on vacation.
Negative experience: Scam, sold me tickets for the Staten Island ferry. Here they are free! Thanks, sucks for giving legitimate tours a bad name!
Negative experience: The ONLY reason they get two stars is because we were able to BOGO Free for Lumberjack Feud. And the girl was nice when we picked up our tickets. What they didn’t tell us was they charged us for a VIP ticket that they ARE NOT able to sell. Plus they charged a $15 processing fee. Definitely a rip off. We would’ve saved more buying tickets through the show directly. Definitely won’t be using them again.
Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I decided to buy tickets through them despite the negative reviews. The tickets were way cheaper and we got skyland ranch for free.. when we arrived the man who helped me(I can’t remember his name) had me in and out in 10 minutes and never tried to sell me anything else. I recommend this place!!
Negative experience: I was making a reservation for a dinner show when another add-on option popped up. I proceeded to click the link while inadvertently adding the additional attraction. The times are conflicting and once I realized it had been processed contacted vacations made easy by their website. I was contacted by phone less than 12 hours later and was told they are unable to cancel the added attraction. Even after speaking to a supervisor Marge, she was not able to provide any assistance in my error. Before speaking to the supervisor, they have a message on a recorded line that says you may be upset, etc. please conduct yourself in a polite manner basically. The fact that that was the precursor to my conversation with him was not a good sign and I do not recommend, this travel agency
Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. Tickets are almost double priced through this 3rd party company. They cancelled our booked adventure 30 minutes before it started and then would not give a refund. We were force to reschedule or lose over $300. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! GO DIRECTLY THROUGH THE HOST COMPANY. Also, 2 of 3 people I dealt with were super rude and not helpful.
Fantastic experience: Billie was great, very friendly and very helpful
Negative experience: 1st of all NOT cheaper than booking through the company itself even though they say buy 1 get one free...2nd you have to go to Broadway on the beach to pick up then drive somewhere else 30 mins away to use tickets we saw ZERO dolphins and were NOT offered a return visit...what happened to "guaranteed to see dolphins"
Negative experience: Vacations Made Easy..A Joke. They give you total and then tack on processing fee and credit card surcharge. Then if you cancel, you will not get the full total. The only way to get the total is by gift certificate. A order that should have been $263 turned out to be $334. Don't use them. What a headache.
Negative experience: Got tickets from this company for comedy barn and skyline ranch. The lift was included in the tickets but the lift was down for maintenance. Skyline Ranch said Vacations made easy was suppose to share that information and they didn't and I asked to be compensated for the $80 service fee and was told no! I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVI ES AGAIN!! I would check around other places next time
Negative experience: A time share type deal. Would not do again. Have to drop to there office to pick up their vouchers and then have to avail the hustle. The lady was friendly enough but the concept is a hustle. Unless you really want to save a few bucks badly, look elsewhere. They easily could have emailed vouchers.
Negative experience: Scam artists tickets for 1:pm at Hershey Chocolate World gave hershey our email order # and it did not exist paid to go on way home get a text for 4:45 tickets that is not what we wanted we already y went and paid and they refused a refund called 4 times they hung up 3 just wanted a refund
Negative experience: I'm really upset with these people right now. They advertised a great deal for the hotel I wanted during the days I needed and everything was great until it wasn't. Booked it online, received a confirmation email and I thought everything was great. 2 weeks later, I check my credit card statement and find that they charged and then credited my card on the same day. When I called to check on the reservation, it was no longer there because according to them, the hotel was sold out. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS??? You NEVER sent me notification that the booking was not possible. So now, I'm screwed because NOTHING IS AVAILABLE!!! If they want to make this right, there is availability at a hotel nearby (El Tovar Hotel) that costs twice the original booking price, but I'm willing to split it with them. Otherwise, this review stands. #ticktockticktock
Negative experience: I booked for Anekeesta in Gatlinburg, Tn and for some reason this where I booked. I wish I can GIVE ZERO REVIEW to this place. Alot right now already do the E-voucher whilst this place you have to pick up the physical voucher!!! The heck we are now the age of Technology!!!! Com'on guys what an inconvenience driving 22mins from our hotel just to get the freakin E Voucher!!!!! NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!!!
Negative experience: Over price on tickets and if you cancel will not get all your money back.. not helpful on getting better seats. When we have called and know there is better seats available. Show said to have them call for better seats. Even told we would pay extra for priority seating. The girl called and said could not get better seating. Not helpful at all !!!
Negative experience: If I could just put 0 stars. Total rip off. Don’t deal with this company. I purchase tickets to Everglades tour, received email with tickets, address saying to arrive 30 minutes before the event. So I arrived at 2:30 and have tickets for 3 pm. Then at the customer desk they told me that actual place is 40 minutes drive from there so I could not make it. They refused to cancel. Spoke with supervisor Adam. He was not helpful at all and was rude.
Negative experience: Avoid! Tickets prices for 2 Branson shows were over $100 more than same shoe booked direct with venue. Tickets arrived too late to late to realize we booked wrong month. No refund! Calling this site a scam would not be much of a stretch.
Negative experience: I booked and paid for a reservation for Dixie stampede in pigeon forge, TN. The day of the reservation I was contacted that they had to reschedule my reservation because they didn’t have enough tickets. I was rescheduled for the next day. 1 hour before the show I called to verify the reservation because I didn’t receive an email with the tickets. Once on the phone I was told I had to pick up the tickets in person 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the show. I rushed to pick up the tickets only to be told they sent the tickets to the show and that they weren’t there. Rushed back to the show and made it there barely in time to get in the doors. Get to my seats and the new reservation was in the worse possible seats of the arena. No where near where I selected that I wanted to sit. Completely ruined my experience and will never book through this agency ever again.
Negative experience: We booked the San Antonio River Walk. When we arrived over 30 minutes before they closed according to their email. We looked for that entire time, and we were unable to locate the store. We attempted to call several times for assistance. Once we finally spoke to a customer support representative, who was allegedly a supervisor, she was extremely unhelpful. She stated that our email directly from them was incorrect and that the location actually closed at 5:30pm not 6:30pm. When we then tried to ask for a refund due to this error on their part we were told that they do not issue refunds. We were then told we could change our plans and schedule it for another day, however we could not do to our vacation ending after today. We are extremely disappointed with this lack of understanding, empathy, and overall unwillingness to help. We will never use this service again, and I highly advise that anyone considering be aware that this company does not value you as a customer, and are unwilling to help their customers. If I could give zero stars I would, but unfortunately that is not an option.
Negative experience: Greedy, greedy greedy greedy. I made a booking through them that was a gift for someone else. When the vouchers came in they had my name on them, so I called to make a simple name change (mind you I had stated at check out that “the tickets are gifts for someone else “) they charged me another 50 dollars. The people I talked to on the phone were helpless and gave me misinformation, and then when I spoke to the manager she was “pleasant” but just as helpless and condescending. She blamed it on “billing” but honestly they just seem like careless money hungry scoundrels.
Negative experience: This is one of the worst places I have ever walked into in my life to try and enjoy your couple of out of a year off and for them to scam you out of your money words don't even come close to the things I want to express about this company it's a joke and they will take your money and smile in your
Negative experience: Looked up what the had to offer. I added nothing to my cart. Reviewed country tonight then Reviewed paula Deen dinner show. Decided to book it. When my receipt. Posted I was charged with both. I immediately called them and was told they would cancel country tonight. Now she called back and said she could only give us 65% refund. We were screwed. I don't recommend using them. I am an unhappy customer but never will again use them.
Negative experience: Bought tickets to Array and changed our mind. Would only refund 60% of ticket price or give you a voucher for some other overpriced place. Filed a dispute with credit card. Total scam
Fantastic experience: Went to Nashville using this service nice hotel. Enjoyed ecperience would use again. While worth it.
Negative experience: We bought a 2 tour package. They called the night before to tell us one had been canceled. They said we could get a refund or chose a different tour. Then tried 3 times to book us on the one tour we had already bought but wasn't canceled. We settled on another tour after being told we would get $135 back, plus the two tours. The next day we find that we had been charged for the changed tour without our consent. Even after admitting we had been told one thing, but charged differently, we were told we were getting a good deal. Sorry, but changing a 2 hour tour to a 1 hour tour for the same price is not a good deal, nor had we accepted the terms they charged us for. SCAM artists. Also, the office is at a time share location. The desk agent tried several times to get us to cancel the tour we had purchased so we could do a 2 hour tour/sell of their time share. No. Just stay away from them
Negative experience: This establishment uses deceptive marketing practices, the ad's appear to be from the actual venues. In reality they sell the tickets that no one else wants. Total scammers
Negative experience: Sold tickets as best available when the tickets had not even gone on sale. Said next day was sold out. Those were not on sale either. I opted out at a loss so I could deal with a reputable company. And I would have had to go to their office to pick up the tickets. Red Flags everywhere. Don’t deal!!!
Negative experience: Ordered buy one get one free ticket in parking lot of the attraction. Stood in line and tried pulling up the tickets on my phone to discover via the link that I had to go to another location and pick them up. Called and they said no other option. At the ticket pick up location they were quick to wanna find out how long I was going to be town. I could tell additional sales pitches were in the queue. Got the tickets. After enjoying the attraction I received an email stating that if there was problem that I could access the tickets online!!! Go figure. NEVER book through a third party. Always a catch or a glitch. Always!
Negative experience: You have to go pick up tickets! What a pain in the you know what.
Negative experience: The people in there are scam artists. We stopped by to see about getting discount tickets and they ended up being Wyndham scammers. They got us to sign up for a time share presentation and promised us to extend our stay in the mountains by giving us 2 nights and 3 days in the wilderness water park hotel. The day before we was supposedly to check in I called just to confirm and guess what they lied. They never booked out stay and all rooms was booked. I went back in and the manager took me in the back room because there were many other people there and he didn’t want them to hear about their scam. So we did a 120 minute timeshare presentation which actually entered up more like a 150 minute. They also got very rude at the end of the timeshare since we chose not to sign up
Fantastic experience: We used the company in Nashville. They were amazing. And the couple at the desk were so friendly and provided great restaurant recommendations. We will definitely use them again!!
Negative experience: Used them to book Dixie Stampede and The Pirate show. Wosrst seat possible for both. When I called to complain they said they had nothing to do with the seats and only received a 10% refund. Do not use the. To book shows if you want decent seats.
Negative experience: Rip-off! Don't book anything with them because they will book you a hotel when all you order is tickets. Very stressful and just a sales pitch for a timeshare, which we refused and her attitude changed immediately. When I called to cancel the hotel, they said it had been cancelled and if we don't receive our money back, report it as fraud. It must happen very often.
Negative experience: Time share scheme. Purchase discounted tickets online, have to go here to pick up vouchers at some random place, but before they give you the vouchers that you already paid for, you have to endure pressure tactics to buy other tickets but if you want additional "discounted" tickets, you'll have to go to a hotel location and sit thru 2 hours of them trying to sell you a time share. Not worth it to me and my precious vacation time. Very deceptive. Make sure you buy tickets from actual website and not a 3rd party like this one.
Negative experience: Don't waste your time. Find another spot to book your vacation. They were very difficult in canceling. And they wanted 35 percent just to cancel
Negative experience: Just no. If you decide to cancel, you will never get anywhere close to the full amount of money back. Read everything before you make an agreement with them.
Fantastic experience: Great deal just couldn't afford it darn it ..lol No pressure sales either. As I thought they would be lots of pressure as I had heard there was but there wasn't any at all.
Negative experience: Be ready to drive outside of town to get your tickets
Fantastic experience: very nice and helpful people! made things including prices easier and cheaper!
Negative experience: Scam. Online it says BOGO free for Skyranch. Come to find out tix are only $21 and I was charged $40 for this BOGO
Fantastic experience: First time ever buying tickets through Vacations Made Easy. Friendly staff and there was no pressure on buying anything they recommended us. Would buy tickets with them again.
Negative experience: We had tickets through vacations made easy for the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show last night. Two of the kids in our group were sick with a stomach bug that started ON OUR WAY to the show. Literally, leaning out of the car door on Parkway throwing up. We thought that we would not share that with the dinner show. When asking about getting tickets refunded, “supervisor” Nina, pretty much told us we were out of luck. I asked if we should have just taken the kids in and she said “she cannot make that decision for us”. Which, since they are not helping out with refunding or helping us out, I take as we should have just gone to the show. Now, I understand why they are only at a 2.8 out of 5 stars. Would not recommend.
