Negative experience: bunch of perople with no respect for customers. this branch is a joke. there is persion lady that works there she will promise you everything so she can get you to sign. once you do she will never remember what she talked to you about. please avoid her if she is your rep ask for somone else. asked to be contacted by a supervisor and they always say she is noth there. any time you go in and ask for a manager she is not there. i asked to be contacted so many times but never heard back. they just want to charge you fees on top of fees for random reason after they told you you will be fine and everything is good.
Negative experience: Price doubled because employee mistakenly pressed the wrong button. Now they can’t fix it, looking for other options.
Negative experience: The reason why this Encino location is so quiet is due to the appalling lack of customer service so no one barely goes there. Manager Buffy was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to even try to resolve the issue blaming it on their computer system with the DMV. Just walked away and said ‘ok’. Truly a disgrace.
Fantastic experience: SKIP THE DMV!!! AAA ENCINO ARE THE BEST IN ALL OF LA!!!! As someone coming from NYC, I am no stranger to LONG DMV lines and the process. Chelsea, Sonia, Dee, and the entire AAA team in this building are by far the BEST!!!! Super fast, reliable, and they understand that you do not want to spend all day doing the vehicle process. I wish they could also do ID matters, but it's ok, not a big deal. All in all, the best experience in terms of service, people friendly, process, and overall family vibe. They do not over charge like some other so called "Skip the DMV" places. They are right and fair with pricing. I highly recommend AAA of Encino. SUPER FACTS!!
Negative experience: I called different offices to cancel my auto-insurance policy for very poor online services. Upon my calls, all of them hanged on me once I told them that I wanted to cancel my policy so in my last attempt I had to tell them that I wanted to make changes to my policy. Once they pulled my policy, then I told them to cancel it. I don't think this is a honest way to treat their customers and provide horrible services. Basically on their website you cannot make any simple changes to your policy like add/remove drivers or vehicles, etc. but when it comes to charge you, they are always ontime.

Negative experience: I can not trust AAA AS MY life insurance. First i signed contract for $100 monthly payment but they change the price to $130 and they didn't get me any notice0
Negative experience: I stood at the "Insurance and Membership Services" line for a solid 10min before anyone said anything to me. The blonde lady helping the adjacent line completely ignored me and didn't even acknowledge my presence. At least everyone else seemed nice. I don't think I'll be returning to this particular location.
Negative experience: It’s a terrible place and long time to waiting for easy things. I paid registration and I came here for getting a registration label tag and waiting for 40 minutes for label and I still waiting. I am not recommended at all.
Negative experience: WELL, WHAT CAN I TELL YOU, GOOD TO GET INSURANCE. AND WHAT DO YOU THINK? ☢️I LEFT HERE FROM EL ENCINO BECAUSE THEY DON'T SPEAK SPANISH AT ALL.

Negative experience: High turn over. Never the same person. New employees making my transaction longer. Always seems to have system issues when lowering miles. Toilet has over flowed to the carpet many times, mostly from women’s restroom. Fungal or mold in waiting area and roach traps in every corner.

Fantastic experience: Took care of double transfer registration for both parties. Seemed we were done in under 20 minutes. Also took care of dropping and reassigning insurance for same auto. Again very quick and thorough service.
Fantastic experience: Nick Andrews. Five stars because of Nick. that's who has helped me the last two times I've been in. He's exceptional at his job and finding solutions for you. And we also laughed a bit. Which was a nice bonus. Such a great guy and this is a great location. Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: Ms. Farahnaz Davani in the insurance department was extremely helpful, going out of her way to help me. She even called me back after my in person visit, giving me alternate suggestions which reduced my payments.

Negative experience: Attempted to Renew my Registration - was told when I checked in that I could use my credit card for payment & not my debit card. I had no problem with that. I get thru a lengthy process to find my father in the database as the registration is in his name (& we both have to have AAA in order for me to pay to renew it at AAA) - I am told that I have to pay with cash or check. AAA is supposed to make this process easier and this was not easier at all by any means. This was a complete waste of time! AAA making such a simple task way more complicated than it should be.

Positive experience: I am not sure, I will find out if DMV have accepted my none-owner insurance policy because they wanted to cancel my extra vehicle 's registration so I dropped off my copy of policy at an office because AAA could not help me with it.
Negative experience: Walking into this place I thought it would be quick and normal service. I didn’t expect much but just that at least I would have some kind of Relief of stress. Being that I waited a good 40 minutes before getting attended to. I would suggest to go to another AAA. The young girls working here are So rude! as if they were never trained to have any kind of customer service. Sadly, I thought it would be a good experience. Coming here. On the contrary, I was told to wait to be attended to after already walking up to the kiosk. Then the young lady went into the restroom after I went into the restroom. As if to see what I was doing? Very weird I must say. When I came out of the restroom…I was then told that they would have to lock the door soon. I went up to the kiosk and then I was rejected and told they were closed. While I’m still in the building? Seriously I was so confused… As to why they would choose me too turn away?… I’ve been waiting for months to get the opportunity to come to the AAA as I never have time… Yet… Isn’t there is some professionalism still left in this world?its disappointing . And I’m pretty sure they were in a hurry to go home. Yet, I don’t think it’s right that they push a customer out only after making the customer wait. That was a mistake on their behalf. I would not suggest going to this ghetto AAA

Young professionals like are the face of AAA. That's why AAA is so successful while their CEOs and UFOs are somewhere at the beach and themselves. Professionals like Jerry and Ms. Anastasia K. Negative experience: There is a very domineering gray-haired man in customer service who is never friendly when my husband goes and he has to attend to him.
Positive experience: I have been coming here for 3 years for there dmv services have never had a problem but the last 2 times the employees Sonia have given terrible customer service, for no reason. Not even friendly or cordial. When she was done with my transaction I said thank you she stayed silent. I wanted to tell her something or speak to a manager i had my toddler with me and didn’t have time to complain about her Poor customer service skills. To management please speak to her. She doesn’t even greet when I went up to her. Rude for no reason at all and that’s not right

Positive experience: Although the auto club has not been my favorite place since the eighties With questionable practices and customer service I have left numerous times. The one thing that they have had going for them at different times were work great rates that out outbid other companies. I left last year because of their treatment during covid. I thought there was excessive charges and unexcused ran unexcused rate increases considering considering I hardly drove. But as always as my renewal anniversary date comes I check this date comes I check around and at this point their rates were back too very good. So I'm biting the bullet once again and giving them a try. I will say the agent Jaxon was extremely helpful competitive competitive and conducted himself in the best interests of customer service. I appreciate this even more than the rates. He definitely went the extra mile in assisting me Because although I carry renters insurance They do not cover the items in areas properly properly that I actually have the most value in. But that multi policy discount is a huge savings. We'll see how this year proceeds but if you're ever in need at Triple A in Encino go see Jaxon. The rating is for Triple A otherwise I would give him 5 stars.
Positive experience: Wait times are always quite long
Fantastic experience: I couldn’t have received a better service today. When I walked in around 4pm, I saw a lot of customers waiting and thought:”oh boy, get ready to wait a long time” but no. I was called within 4 minutes, to start my international driving permit process. Got my pictures taken ( staff member even let me do my makeup by the mirror) and finished the whole process in less than 15 minutes. Yes, I got my permit right then and there, no need to wait for it to arrive in the mail or come for it days later.
Negative experience: I adore Triple A. I didn't experience High quality Customer Service on this date. I was stranded. Alone. And needed to start or,..sorry renew my AAA. I was hoping to be in good hands. It didn't work out. And it was 105" out that day. Better luck next time. Normally , I would have a agent who could offer a helpful hand with referrals or something,but,not this time.

Fantastic experience: Went in to get travel information for an upcoming trip. We got that and then some. This AAA practices distancing, has sanitizer at every station, all the associates wear masks and they have a handicapped accessible lift for wheelchairs. Very cool!! The service was fast and great.

Negative experience: Sadly this company did not work out for me. I called them to explain my situation and they assured me they could help, so I bought a yearly membership. I went into the location to do the paperwork part of my transaction and was told we just needed to wait on a hard copy of a form from my bank. Once that arrived, I went in again, only to be told they can't process my particular circumference. Even 2 other people before said it was possible. So I cancelled my membership and they charged me 1/5 of the price for being a member for 7 days. 0/5 stars, do not recommend.

Positive experience: There's a line outside. Someone comes out and helps you. The line moves pretty fast. I was looking for notary service but they said they couldn't notarize the documents I had. Luckily I didn't waste too much time standing in line.
Fantastic experience: We Had gotten a Flat tire in noho because of a set of keys inbedded in the cracks of the road underneath the freeway underpass. We called Triple A, Chris came out he was very friendly and Professional and took care of the problem right away. He put our car on the Flat bed and had it and my dads job which he is the manager at Big O Tires within 15 to 20 min. Chris is very Professional about his job and he was able to speak to my mother in law in Spanish to help her understand the situation. A+ for Chris

And I need them to send me the papers for the life insurance I got and they never send them to me, plus they weren't honest with me!!! But I will go personally with my son so they can really explain the truth about this life insurance I got, and if I'm wrong, I will let them know!!! And I will apologize!! I hope I'm wrong!! Because even though I am not wealthy!! I won't mind losing the money I already paid!! And I will simply cancel it!!!

Positive experience: AAA in Encino is a quick spot to get your DMV needs done. Generally the staff are nice and helpful and you are able to get in and out extremely quick. Having a membership with them is required for their DMV Services. The place is nice and clean. As for COVID care, they seem to be making sure that everyone is wearing masks, Han sanitizers at every station (including before you enter), acrylic shields and disinfection of the desk after a customer leaves. Overall not a bad experience
